Rate this book
The Fates released Mia from their tapestry, warning her not to fly too far from where she wants to be. Mia starts to weave her own life’s story. But as most craftspeople know, when you do your own needlework, you end up with a lot of loose threads. In Mia’s tapestry of her life, sometimes leaving a loose thread could mean the difference between life and death.

Come along as Mia picks up the loose threads of her life. Loose Threads is the 33rd book of the Haunted Series.

My idea of a great vacation is a porch swing, view of the water and a pile of books to read.
Once upon a time…
I wonder if those words spoken to, or read for the first time, were the catalyst for the spark that lit the fire within us. To write and tell a story the way each of us does is a gift and a responsibility. We sometimes toil hours with an idea, or even just one sentence, not knowing if anyone beyond us will ever read our words. We do it for love. The love of bringing to light the world that resides inside our heads.
It does not matter if we have a happy ending or a soulful gasp. What matters is that we put these thoughts on paper. So keep writing my friends. Keep taking us to the secret corners of your mind. Be brave. Tempt fate and above all enjoy.

Alexie Aaron never disappoints. I usually get bored with a series by book ten, with the exception of Charlene Harris and Alexie Aaron's books. This series has so many brilliant twists, turns, intrigue, and some seriously steamy romance. And she's hilarious! I'm green with jealousy, that I can't write as well as Ms. Aaron. I will try my best not to go creepy stalker on her, while waiting for book #34. I said TRY. I ain't promisin' NOTHIN'!
For the record ... I'm waiting for a book where Mia gets a peak at her future (after Ted has blown himself up) where she spends some quality time (wink, wink) with Angelo and Ed. (not necessarily together, but let's not rule it out)
Just puttin' that out there. Do with it what you will.

Don’t know how I’m going to stand the wait for book 34!

We’re 33 full-length novels into this series, not counting the 6 books in a spin-off series, and I still found myself amazed at the twists and turns in the story. I highly recommend anything that Alexie Aaron writes! I sometimes struggle to maintain an interest in series that move beyond a handful of books, yet I am 39 novels into this story universe, with a few complete re-reads under my belt, and am looking forward to the next novel! Heck, I am looking forward to re-reading this one again tomorrow!!

Loose threads

Wow! This is, in my opinion, one of the best in the Haunted Hallow series. I like that there were several closure chapters, but Alexie also opened up some new doors in the process. I'm in love with a couple of new characters, and I can't wait to see if they reappear in a later adventure. Thanks for the two sleepless nights, Alexie...it was well worth it!!!

What a Tangled Web...

Mia is busy this summer in this book. Promoting her movie, doing an investigation for the demon court, a road trip for Ted and Cid's class reunion, and the anniversary of the ice queen poster.

That's just the relative small stuff. This book also appears to be a setup for a possible earthshattering situation in the next book.

Better and better

There is absolutely nothing to not love about this book.
Alexi takes you places you have never been.
She introduces you to worlds you have never imagined and characters you will never forget.
I have a theory that she is Mia in disguise.
I pray she never ends this series.

Awesome Entry in the series

This book was another fabulous entry in the series. Mia's ongoing adventures are fantastic. She handles her family, angels, purgatory, and Hell with her usual efficiency. I can't wait for the next entry in the series. Each book is like visiting with old friends and catching up with family.

I tried to read slowly

I was very surprised when it ended. I didn't feel ready for the book to be done. That being said it was another great read. Alexis has a way of pulling you into a book so that you feel you are experiencing all that is Mia.
