Why are they so horny?! I did not remember it like this! Nevertheless, this is so cute. There’s not much conflict now, mostly internal but I’ll still read the next volume to see what real life (after high school) has to offer to this relationship. Loved the red string bit—can’t help but remember Hua Cheng, I’m crying now.

Broche de oro para la secuela de Tasogare outfocus. Me ha encantado ver cómo se quieren, cuidan y respetan Mao y Hisashi. Como tienen sexo saludable entre ellos. Como de dulces son. Esto no deja de ser el preludio de su vida, la continuación de su adolescencia, pero se ban hecho promesas nuevas que cumplir.

I'm so glad we got more from these two! I left book one with slightly bittersweet feelings because of my concern for Hisashi. He'd been through so much, so I needed more to feel confident he'd be okay. And this book gave me all the joy I wanted for him. He and Mao are adorable, and I love how much they love each other, but also how supportive they are of each other's individual passions.

I loved it so much istg, the main characters have such a healthy relationship that it makes me feel jealous!!!! They are the most adorable cuties.😭
I loved the fact that, the author, didn't use the second part of a story that already was completed to make Mao and Hisashi to break up or something like that (which happens a lot). She just showed how they're growing together, communicating their feelings and making their relationship stronger and healthier. Everything was immaculate.
Of course, a special mention to the secondary characters who are so friendly and pleasant and the kind if friends you would love to have.

I went into this volume with a very specific expectation because I’d previously read the Tasogare Outfocus series online. Based on that, I assumed this printed volume would cover a different storyline, so realizing it actually returns to Mao and Hisashi through additional scenes took a moment of adjustment. Once that clicked, the book made more sense on its own terms. It reads less like a continuation and more like a companion piece, focused on expanding emotional context rather than introducing new directions. That choice makes the reading experience intimate, but also fairly narrow.
Mao remains the emotional lens, and the story works best when it stays close to his quiet anxiety about usefulness. His fear isn’t about losing affection, but about losing relevance. Filming becomes both his comfort and his proof of value. Hisashi, by contrast, is openly affectionate yet emotionally fragile, still shaped by loneliness and uncertainty about whether he deserves the attention he receives. Their bond is built through observation and reassurance instead of confrontation, and the intimate moments reflect those dynamics rather than interrupting them.

Wenn ich für 2021 bisher ein Lesehighlight benennen müsste, dann wäre das Twilight Outfocus.
Am Ende von Band 1 war spürbar, dass dieser Ursprünglich als Einzelband geplant war, dennoch bin ich dankbar noch mehr von Hisashi und Mao bekommen zu haben.
Die Gründe, aus denen mich diese kurze Reihe vereinnahmt hat, sind sie sanfte, realistische und schöne Erzählweise, die zauberhaft konstruierten Charaktere, wieso dieser unverwechselbare Zeichenstil (in den ich mich schrecklich verliebt habe) und das Paneling. Quasi alles :D
Das Paneling ist hier etwas ganz besonderes. Oft wirkt es wie mit einer Kamera eingefangen, wodurch ich richtig in das geschehen gezogen wurde. Dieses Gefühl wird zudem durch die zum Teil aufgebrochenen Panel unterstützt.
Band 2 setzt nicht nur Themen, wie Vertrauen, Zweisamkeit und die gemeinsame sexuelle Entwicklung, die zu Beginn einer Beziehung relevant sind in den Fokus sondern auch, wie schwer Zukunftsängste manchmal wiegen können.
Hisashi, Mao und deren Geschichte haben mein Herz erwärmt und mich völlig umgehauen. Ich gestehe, am Ende liefen mir kurz die Tränchen, weil ich so traurig war, dass es vorbei ist. Diesen beiden könnte ich auf ihrer Reise noch ewig folgen.

Mir gefällt so sehr, wie sie mit einander umgehen. Die Art, wie die beiden ihre körperliche und emotionale Beziehung miteinander erleben und sich zusammen entwickeln ist wirklich toll. Ich wünschte, wir könnten sie noch länger begleiten. Ich möchte sehen, wie sie zusammen erwachsen werden und wie sie ihre Zukunft meistern werden.
Der einfach wunderschöne Zeichenstil passt hervorragend zu der Geschichte.

Ay, no. Twilight Out of Focus me había re gustado, porque la historia fue interesante y el dibujo hermoso. Si bien el dibujo de su continuación es igual de hermoso que el del primer volumen, eso es todo lo que tengo para decir positivo. La historia es inexistente (es más un tomo recopilatorio de extras de los protagonistas), que es básicamente sexo sexo sexo; y no sé si fue la traducción argenta o qué, pero la dirty talk me dio alto cringe lloro; si hubiera sido una o dos veces lo dejaba pasar, pero como el volumen es casi todo sexo = el volumen es casi todo dirty talk cringe y va más allá de mi

Ich mochte den zweiten Teil auch sehr und finde, dass es ein guter Abschluss für Hisashi und Maos Zeit auf der Oberschule ist. Beide sind gewachsenen und haben sich weiterentwickelt, zusammen und jeder einzeln. Der Filmklub ist echt ein cooler Haufen und ich mag es, wie locker sie sind. In diesem Band haben Mao und Hisashi auch etwas mehr geredet, was mir im ersten ein wenig gefehlt hat. Trotzdem finde ich, dass es immer noch ein wenig mehr „lust“ als „love“ ist - also die Beziehung der beiden. Jedoch bin ich auch ein Sucker für den roten Faden. Würde diese zweibändige Reihe auf jeden Fall an alle BL-Fans empfehlen. Mal schauen, wann ich zum Lesen der Folgereihe komme. Die kommt aber auf jeden Fall dran. :)

ESTA SEGUNDA PARTE QUE ESTÁ HECHA CON VARIAS PEQUEÑAS HISTORIAS ES INCREÍBLE Y LA AMÉ. Vi que muchos se quejaban porque "se la pasan cogiendo" y yo la más feliz. Baby, I'm living. JAJAJAJA.
Y dios mío, ¿cómo me vas a dar ese final? Me tenés que decir que por lo menos va a haber continuación o algo porque yo me puedo llegar a morir si no se hace otra historia aparte con ese final, ESE FINAAAAL. NO ME DES ESE FINAL.
En fin, creo que sí debería leerse esta segunda parte porque jdkskd adoré.

Der erste Band steht zwar gut allein, aber diese Sammlung an Bonuskapiteln bringt nochmal eine große Portion Tiefe in die Beziehung zwischen Mao und Hisashi.
Es werden Themen behandelt, die es in einer Geschichte über das Zusammenkommen oft nicht mehr hineinschaffen. Wie verhält man sich in seiner ersten Beziehung? In der Öffentlichkeit und auch im Privaten.
Wie sieht wohl die Zukunft aus? Da sich beide Gedanken darüber machen müssen, wie es nach dem Schulabschluss weiter geht, ist besonders dies ein großer Punkt für die beiden.
Jyanome hat eine sehr gefühlvolle Reihe geschaffen, die sich wirklich realistisch anfühlt. Man kann sich gut in die Charaktere hineinversetzen und sie haben alle ihre besonderen Züge und Eigenschaften, die sie sympathisch machen. Das ganze wird durch ihren einzigartigen Zeichenstil abgerundet.

¡Qué maravilla!
Este segundo volumen está compuesto principalmente de una serie de historias cortas que tienen lugar poco después de los acontecimientos del primer volumen. Son historias que profundizan en su relación y que nos dan una visión más amplia de sus sentimientos.
Estos relatos son variados, algunos son más emotivos y se crntran en la soledad que siempre ha sentido Hisashi, así como el papel vital que tiene Mao para poner remedio a la situación; otros son más divertidos y sensuales, como ese en el que Mao decide tomar un papel más activo en sus relaciones. Y no me hagáis hablar de la escena en la que el club de cine está leyendo mangas BL y los están comentando porque me reí cosa mala 🤣
Pese a ser relatos ortos, están bien hilados y proporcionan una sensación de continuidad. De Mao queriendo ser más activo pasamos a Mao queriendo hacer más por él en un plano emocional, a su inquietud por no serle de ayuda. También, dado que pasan a tercero, tenemos reflexiones sobre el futuro, con las incertidumbres que el paso a la uni trae siempre consigo.
Y, por supuesto, no nos olvidamos de aquel largometraje que grabaron. Descubrimos qué será de la competición y que repercusiones tendrá en sus vidas.
En general, es una continuación más sensualidad y aunque no tiene la misma carga emocional porque el ritmo y la forma en la que se desarrolla no tiene ese ambiente dramático que caracteriza al ponerme volumen, igualmente tiene ese toque dulce y romántico que enamora. Es un buen desenlace para la historia de esta pareja.
Ahora solo me queda cruzar los dedos por que Milkyway decida licenciar Afterimage Slow Motion. Teniendo en cuenta que al final de este volumen se incluye el prólogo y nos dejan con la miel en los labios, espero que tarde o temprano lo hagan 🧡
