Will not disappoint !

Haley may be one of the babies of the family but having grown up in a heavily Alpha male family she has learned her lessons well. So far forbidden love and secrets has colored both Haley and Lachlan's lives. I couldn't wait to see how the brothers handled their love affair when it came out. True to twin form Harris knows his sister well and she can't hide too much from him . I love their connection. You couldn't have better cheerleader in your corner than the best friend mom's.
I thought I would be ready for the sparks but if you have read any of the previous books you know Charmaine Louise is gonna bring it!!! She does not disappoint. I was not ready again. This is "put a cold cloth on your neck" spicy. I can't believe all this was going on in the background as I read the other books. I was holding my breath waiting to see how Sebastian handled Lachlan finally coming clean. I thought there might be stitches...lol
I love how tight the families bonds are. When Malcom said "I didn't raise sheep "I hollered remembering how Haley laid one on Malcom's stalker and she practically jumped Rogers baby's kidnappers. So she can definitely hold her own. She may be quiet with all those brains but she's nobodies fool.
Can't wait for book III. I have so many questions.
Lachlan loves his sister Lydie and she should be CEO of Jackson Corp. What's her story. How are they going to handle Connor who thinks women should just get married and have babies?
Lucien the sexy chef who came up with the BDSM clubs with Malcom. He has to have a crazy back story. To live the life of billionaires as they say must be nice! I'm all in with the Desires series.
If we had a prequel ,the Malcom & Shelly along with Connor and Lucinda ( Lucie) parents stories would be crazy hot. Sebastian will always be my book Husband!!! Start at the beginning and work your way thru because even though these are all stand alone mini series inside the collective. It really connects the stories and you will understand some of the character interchanges better.

My goodness, I sure as hell didn't see Haley & Lachlan's forbidden love coming whatsoever but I guess that makes sense since Charmaine Louise Shelton is a new to me author so these two are the first journey into her world I've taken. This author can certainly write some serious heat, and I'm talking about fans on high HOT HOT HOT! Of course besides the heat, there's a lot of drama going on because these two are perfect for each other despite the forbidden kicker, but she knows her worth & when Lachlan couldn't give her what she deserved she walked, and now another is willing to give it to her. However, they can't stop themselves from gravitating towards each other no matter what, but there are also outside forces who don't want to see them together so the complications are gaining more speed, and I'm very intrigued to see how it all plays out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I don't know why I'm surprised that the author would take us out at THAT part of Haley and Lachlan's story!! To be able to live the glamorous lifestyle these families do would be AMAZING!! They have been put through the ringer with their relationship and misunderstandings caused by two jealous people and their plots/plansa to sabotage them. For neither Lachlan or Haley to want secrets between them, they sure did keep them...until they didn't. I got emotional all over again when it came to Malcolm's accident and recovery! Who's up next...Harris...Laurent?? They sure do have a lot to say about their brothers finding love and I can't wait to see who falls next and the conclusion of this trilogy!! Whoever it is, I know it's going to be in true Charmaine Louise Shelton form!! Their love is atomic and so is the spicy language. One thing remains true through it all...family is everything.

Haley and Lachlan!! I guess at this point I should expect the unexpected from Charmaine, but I’m just floored! All the things that these two have gone through, I DID NOT expect things to explode the way they did. Charmaine, I’m wounded and I may literally lose my mind awaiting the next book!😭😭😭

Oh my GOD the second book of Hailey and Lachan is so much desire. The first book ended with Hailey leaving Lachan because his relationship with Bas was more important than her. She tries to move on with her life without him. He tries to convince her to give him a second but there is always something in the way. This book has so much chemistry between them the book should have been on fire. I don't know what it is about the Steele family and their ex's. The ending has me wanting more and I can't wait for part 3 to come out to see what Hailey does.

This was a great second installment in Lachlan and Haley's story. Coming from someone who has not read the rest of the Steele-Jackson series, I have been completely sucked into this world by this book. I was not expecting the twists that it took. In fact, when Lachlan "gets the girl" around the 20ish% mark of the book, I was almost ready to put the book down (I'm all for the hero having to burn for a good while!!). I'm so glad I kept on reading and definitely was not disappointed by the turn of events. The heat is fully there with the BDSM pieces woven within the web of the Steele and Jackson families. Haley may be the baby of the Steele family but this book is not tame by any means. The third book is going to have to be one heck of a book to wrap their story up! I may have to read the rest of the stories while we wait...

Extremely Interesting

This is the 2nd book in the Lachlen and Haley trilogy and it has a lot of ups and downs. It follows the same timeline as all the other STEELE International and Jackson Corporation books but from Lachlan and Haley. This book definitely ends on an extreme cliffhanger that I never saw coming. The author repeats some of the same things from other books but no where near the amount in the Malcom and Starr trilogy. I love this brand can't wait to read the next book.

Oh my! Miss Charmaine has hit another installment OUT. OF. THE. PARK!! I love reading about Lachlan and Haley and how their relationship developed from the time they were very young until now. A wedding in 3 months’ time? Will it happen or maybe not. I’m on to Part III to find out!
