Terror has never wanted a mate. He’s too damaged, too dark, to ever deserve a wife and family. At least, that’s what he tells himself until Maisie enters his life.
Born deaf in a world that reviles the imperfect, Maisie has resigned herself to a life of loneliness. Until the day she’s thrust into Terror’s prison cell with orders to keep him alive, that is.
Refusing to leave her behind, Terror mounts an off-the-books rescue and brings her back to the Valiant. Before he can collar and claim her, she’s arrested for crimes she never committed.
Terror’s past sins have returned to haunt him, and now Maisie is in the crosshairs of the Shadow Force and the Splinters. Determined to save her life and prove her innocence, he takes her and runs.
But Terror isn’t the only one with secrets. Maisie holds the key to a life-threatening conspiracy. As they crisscross the galaxy, they’ll have to decide how much they’re willing to sacrifice.
They’ll have to choose between their love and their dreams of a future together and the lives of everyone they hold dear.
While browsing bookstore shelves as a teenager, Lo discovered the erotic writings of Anaïs Nin and A.N. Roquelaure. Certain her mother would not approve, Lo smuggled the books home and squirreled them away in the most likely of places: under her bed. Late at night, she delved into the sensual worlds both writers created.
As a co-ed studying biochemistry and genetics at Texas A&M University, Lo dabbled in creating naughty tales to entertain her friends. Study for a midterm or pen a deliciously dirty story to delight her small band of fans? Not surprisingly, Lo is now on an extended sabbatical from college.
Luckily, Lo stumbled onto the world of erotic romance publishers. She realized there were other readers and writers who loved and craved breathtaking romance with the spiciest of love scenes. She took a chance and submitted her first novella. The rest is history.
Lo lives in Texas with her family and beloved Great Dane, Bosley.
Much longer book than the others, which was great! I love Terror and Maisie's story. Romance, mystery, and lots of adventure.
I can't wait to see which character is up next. I do hope that it may be Fay, who helped Maisie in the beginning. I thought she was a great character. Or maybe Grim, the assassin, or Hazard, the pilot, or Torment, the Shadow Force guy.
I really like Maisie and Terror together so the relationship plot is great. The Splinter plot seems like it happened really fast, but we're still missing key pieces with only one book to go. I would have liked to have seen a little more action. It was cool that this bokk took almost engirely off the Valiant, but I wish I could have seen how our faves reacted during the attempted coup. I also hope LL will continue to explore this universe because I'd like to see more of the Harcos, like on their home planet, as well as some non-Harcos stories of people in Red Feather and other people in the City on Calyx and other planets. It's a cool universe, and I don't want to see this world-building only go to this one series.
Finally, I am in absolute denial that [character I like] may be a traitor. I REFUSE. JUSTICE FOR [character]! YOU CANNOT TELL ME THEY ARE BAD, AND I WILL BE VERY UPSET IF IT IS TRUE.
Anyway, this series is super fun and sexy, and I can't wait for Torment's book! Also also, please let this series one day come out in audio!
This book has a completely different feel from the others. This one is about Terror and the woman who took care of him while he was held captive.
Maisie, who is deaf, has been raised with The Splinter network of criminals but she doesn’t abide by their lifestyle. Terror saw that and he made a connection with her so while he managed to be rescued, all he could think of was her.
He has been searching for her for a while and when he finally finds her he knows he wants to keep her but doesn’t feel worthy.
All Maisie has thought about is Terror. She knew he would come for her it was just a matter of when. It never bothered him that she was deaf and while that causes communication problems alone, he is willing to learn it to be with her.
This book is different because they’re running. Maisie is wanted for treason and she will be put to death for the crimes they believe she has committed. Terror wont allow that and he is willing to throw everything away for her. No hesitation.
I really liked Maisie. She may be deaf but that means nothing to her. She smart, kind, tough, and an all around survivalist. Terror has finally been “put in his place” when he realizes why his friends were so angry at him for the treatment of their mates, he understands it now. He see’s how wrong it feels even though he did it for their species.
There a teensy bit of spelling errors but since we waited so long to get this story, it didn’t even matter in the end.
I do feel like I expected more out of this book but I feel like it also opens it up to more for this series. Only time will tell.
This was a super read. I hope there will be more in this series. Terror and Maisie were amazing. If you enjoy reading sci-fi romance with some very hot scenes then you will love it.
I simply love this series. Story is well told and ending was so sweet. I wonder who is next hopefully maybe Devious I hope ! Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long .
I wasn't one of those people in the first book all like, "I can't WAIT for Terror's book!" because damaged hero = attractive, or something, but I definitely do feel a lot more affection towards him now that he has fallen in love and softened. I just love big brutes who turn to mush for their ladies.
Maisie was pretty cool and I'm really glad to see more enthusiastic consent because it was missing in the first couple of books.
I feel like this series gets better as it progresses. I really loved the innocent affection rather than the steam, and it helped that the pair were clearly in love before the book even started.
First let me say that this book started out awesome. I was entranced, on the edge of my seat and completely invested in the characters. My attitude toward Terror began to change after Maisie capture by the Sky Warriors and what he let happen to her. Their first sexual encounter wasn't stellar due to miscommunication and that was understandable, even forgiveable. My attitude toward him changed when Pam entered the picture briefly. That was bullshit and Terror doesn't even care about Maisie reaction. The intimate good by between Pam and Terror and his further uncompassionate attitude makes it worse. When they do come together Terror doesn't even apologize or acknowledge how his actions hurt Maisie we are treated instead to Maizes feeling inadequate sexual and understanding that Terror would be happier with someone like Pam. In Terror thoughts we never even get a hint that his is sorry or feels any kind of shame for his actions and his careless actions toward Maisie He is angry at himself yes but this is never expressed out loud. Then we ar once again treated to his callous behavior toward Maisie when he mentions yes he was with Pam and yes they had sex frequently. What's up with that? Is he trying to hurt her? Sure felt like it. After that I was done with Terror and lost all respect for him as the hero. Maisie was a strong female lead and I thought she was kick ass in everything but in her relationship with Terror. She became a woman with no back bone. Blaming herself instead of the callous man she took up with. Unfortunately, after that point I skimmed the rest of the book only to pick up the points so I would be caught up in the next book. All in all the relationship in this book feel extremely short in comparison to the other books. I've never lost interest in a couple I was so invested in but Terror just did not deserve her time.
That being said, I love every other book in the series and will be reading the next one. One disappointment is not enough to keep me away 😁.

👽 “You scare me… You make me want all the things I thought I would never have. You make me want a future I never dreamed was possible for a man like me.” ~~~ Terror is a vicious, resourceful and brutal Harcos warrior and he’s part of the Shadow Force. He’s willing to do anything and use anyone to fulfil his duty. But he’s a good and caring man beneath all the meanness. I’ve loved him ever since book one!
Maisie is a strong and caring woman. Her disability has deemed her a Defect and she’s been trying to survive her whole life. I loved her bravery and kindness.
I adored the development of their relationship. They are on the run, facing danger, punishment and death. And there is hesitance on both sides. But they are absolutely perfect for each other and after everything they’ve been through their whole life, they more than deserve happiness, peace and love.
In addition, the conflict with the Splinters escalates to unimaginable levels and there are some unexpected twists and discoveries. And there are some shocking secrets regarding Maisie's origins.
Overall, the story is another magnificent addition to the series. It’s filled with action, drama, danger, secrets, conspiracies, betrayal, twists, turns, steamy romance and amazing characters.
I found Vicious of Grabed seriers on kindle as a freebee. Terror was mentioned and spiced it as well. He was intrigued, anti hero material. I confess i bought the 4th book with Raze and Brook just to see the capture and Terror's rescue. Well Terror's book doesn't disappoint on the contrary this is my 2d read and I rejoiced it. I was reading a similar book before and right in the middle of it I thought of Maise and Terror and I grabbed it again. Beyond the erotica scenes with BDSM there is a solid plot with adventure action and emotions. Maise is not a doormat, she is a survivor, a resourceful fighter yet a dreamer, totally in love with Terror. Terror on the other hand is a Harcos male trained in a militaristique society a killer for his country, hardened because as Maise said "he does not know how to fail". These 2 coelesed and leave for an adventure which leaves you on the edge. Every page is full of trepidation and angst and emotions. The end is a little bit cheesy but overall I really enjoyed it more than I thought for the 2d time
I have been waiting for Terror's book since he was first mentioned! I do think his book was written a little earlier than Raze and Cipher because it seems like it falls in with the beginning books in ways of how it's written and flows.
Loved Maisie and that Terror was hellbent on keeping her safe, but she also knew her worth and did what she had to do for herself and Terror. I also loved that Terror didn't give to craps that Maisie couldn't hear and wasn't going to let anyone take her becuase of that. One of the ways that the guys are giving the middle finger to their own government so that brides and warriors can still be loved and not cast out for being different. One of my faves because Terror.
This was a wild ride!! Maisie is amazing. She is upbeat, brave and strong. She can fight. She is resourceful. She is kind hearted and sweet. Terror is mean, harsh and violent. He is determined to Find Maisie. But so is everyone on the Splinter side!! Revelations both not surprising and not. Fight scenes were great. Loved the tender side of Terror. After everything these two have suffered its amazing they are still nice to anyone. Loved it!!! Please find a bride for Admiral Orion. I really, really like him.
I have been eagerly awaiting Terror’s story, and Taken by Terror did not disappoint! As the sixth book in the Grabbed series, it was everything I hoped for and more. Seeing Terror finally get his happy ending was incredibly satisfying. His journey was intense, emotional, and filled with sizzling chemistry. Lolita Lopez masterfully weaves action, romance, and deep character development, making this a gripping read from start to finish. I loved every moment and couldn’t put it down. If you’re a fan of the series, this one is a must read!
Let me start off by saying I’ve been waiting for Terror’s story since we met him in Book #1. To say I was beyond happy when this came out is an understatement. However, I think my expectations were too high and therefore I was slightly disappointed. Not too terribly so but still wished there would’ve been more plot to the story.
The book was just as great as all the previous ones and holds your attention from beginning to end. It has alot of suspious, unknown threats, traitors, love and steamy hot romance with awesome characters? Definitely a must buy and keep them coming the series is awesome.
Loved it until the “sex ship”. The story could have been fleshed out w more details, especially delving further into the facial ties and emotions surrounding those. Had a rather anticlimactic ending.
Have read the whole series and loved them all. But Terror story is so special. Absolutely adore it. The twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat.
Such a great story teller. She has a say to mix sensuality and a great story. You need to start at the beginning with Vicious & Haley. I've read all the books so far and can't wait for the next. Wonderful storytelling. An absolute must read!
Should read the series in order to truly enjoy this book. It is the best of the series. H and h stay true to their purposes and promises even though they are truly tested. I really enjoyed this book!
