Ready for the next hilarious Hell Cruise adventure?
You can’t teach an old demon new tricks, but it’s never too late to fall in love.
A long time ago, Shax loved a sea witch, but was too dumb to admit it.
But this old demon has decided it’s time he got a second chance. A cruise through the tropics seems like the perfect place to rekindle things.
The problem is, Dorothy isn’t about to let him charm his way back into her life. Not when he broke her heart once already. Good thing fate hasn’t given up on this pair. With Lucifer meddling, surely things will—
Go to Hell first, because come on, this is Lucifer we’re talking about. But even he can’t stop true love.
Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .
I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.
I have really enjoyed this return to the Welcome to Hell series. It's always great escapism guaranteed to give you a laugh and leave you with a smile. This set things up nicely for the next spin-off and I can't wait to see where Eve will take us next. Absolutely recommend this book (and entire series) to anyone who loves a laugh, loves a bit of spice with their romances, and is looking for strong heroines who can save themselves.
The last three books have been tricky to follow time wise, as they all intersect with each other. Thankfully out of the thirteen (?) couples Luc match made, there are only three to follow for the cruise. So whilst focusing on Shax and Dottie, there is mentions of the others.
I liked how Shax is a demon librarian, the goblins were entertaining. I also liked how caring he is towards his nephews and Sweets. Sweets was adorable. Plenty of gatecrashing from Gaia and Luc, setting up for more chaos in the future. Another fun read from the Hell series.

This series is just plain fun. It's interesting to be reading this section of the series as the stories are all overlapping and you're just seeing events from the side of different couples that are finding themselves on the cruise. This time it's an old love getting rekindled as Shax and Dorothy had a chance once centuries before when they were young, but misunderstandings kept them apart. Both of them are on the cruise for a family member, but of course Satan and Gaia aren't leaving well enough alone themselves.
I enjoy the silliness of this series and we got a few more dollops of information for the greater story as Dorothy and Shax are both tasked with trying to find a certain prophecy. But their chemistry is explosive and past feelings are peaking their little heads back up...and they're more than a little distracting.
This book was the final book in the Hell Cruise series in the Hell World universe. It was an actual joy to read because this was the first series I have ever read that had multiple stories happening at the same time. You don't need to read the other books to enjoy this one but it makes it more enjoyable if you do! It was a quick read full of humor and quick witted comebacks. I wish I hadn't read it so fast because now I just want more! Oh well, there are other Eve Langlais books to read! So many to choose from I don't which one to read next!

I just love Lucifer, his comments, his snarkiness, his personality are so hilarious that I laugh to myself through the whole book. Shax is a demon librarian and Dottie, is a sea witch, they are reunited on a cruise ship to Atlantis. Shax is secretly searching for a prophecy for Gaia, who is Lucifer's wife, meanwhile Dottie is tasked by Lucifer to see why Gaia is meeting with Shax. Mayhem and excitement always follows them. Love this series. It is so much fun to read.
This second chance romance was centuries in the making, and the fact it fell apart all those years ago because of a silly misunderstanding was frustrating. But in the here and now, these two fall back into their old ways, as if they have learned nothing over the hundreds of years they’ve been apart. But they were fun, and they were snarky, and they really did love each other, so, they were a great love story!
1) This book is about Dorothy and Shax, old people, and second chances.
2) I usually don't like the "second chance" trope, I like things fresh, but in this one, it just suited so well.
3) I had mostly forgotten the other couples (it's the 10th book I have the right to forgetting), I wasn't very excited about this book, I wasn't feeling it. I'm glad I sucked it up and stopped whining. This book is adorably amazing.
Another amazing story Love how each of the hell cruise books adds onto the previous stories, yet could be read without the others (just less context) I was kept up far past bedtime with work the next day to finish it! (Again... these books are just too good to put down)
Oh man. I’m bummed to see the cruise stories ending but GRIM DATING! Whaaattttt! Ok. So Dottie and Shax’s story took place at the same time as the previous story, so there was a lot of overlap, and it was awesome to see some scenes from a different angle. Overall, not my favorite in the series, but still pretty great!
A misunderstanding leads a librarian to become a Demi-demon and a Sea witch to become all powerful. Lucifer sent them on a course to be on the same cruise. Will they get past their misunderstanding? Will Lucifer’s plan go to far and keep them apart? Come take a ride on a Hell Cruise.
I enjoyed books #7 and #8 much better than the others that came before it. I did enjoy this one but not as much as 7 and 8. Why? Because we're rehashing a story already told. Yes, it's from someone else's perspective but you still know what happens and how it ends.
Have enjoyed this series and can't wait to read more from this author loved the characters and the storyline so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend this book to everyone
There were so many twists and turns in this story I sometimes found it difficult to keep up,but it was so much fun I could not stop reading until the end.Recommended
Review from audible box set Hell on the High Seas. I haven’t read this book so went into it fresh. Not my favourite but enjoyable none the less. Lots of crossover from the previous two books in this box set.
I swear this is one series you cannot put down. I love Gaia and Luc 's relationship so much. Cannot wait to read the spinoffs and the next book in this series.
Příjemná nenáročná oddychovka na 3,5 (prtoože ta série je prostě boží!). Dobře doplňuje ostatní díly, too je velké plus. Na novelku to není vůbec špatné ;)
