These two are made for each other, they just have to figure it out.
Bella with her hard past and Boone with his hard outside and soft inside (which only came along when Bella did).
I found this so hard to put down once I started it.
I kept wanting to give Bella a hug and Boone, well I was so jealous of Bella!
But no matter how hard things got those two found a way to work it out *sigh*!
A heart-twisting story of love earned the hard way.
So worth it!

Who are Bella and Boone? How do they meet one another? Who are Vince and Alexander? How does Bella know them? Where are they? Who is Vixen? Who are Gareth and the person known as General? I iiked Doc. I really could not stand Vince when I met him. He is very crass in how he deals with Bella and an a-hole in my opinion. What stunt does Vince pull that upsets Bella? How does that affect Boone? How does he handle it? When Bella gets brought in on one of Vixen's operations, what do we learn? I was floored at what I learned about Bella's cat and her wants. I loved the change that I saw. I cannot wait to see what happens to Rowen. Alexander shocked me. I cannot wait to read more by this author. This is my first book by her!

Loved It ! . . .

Boone Freeman was a Navy SEAL who retired at his friend’s request that he come to Broken Peak. Seeing Bella, a beautiful mountain lion shifter, he is willing to put away his rule on “no commitment“. However, her former Clan Chief had chosen Vince as a mate for her, whom she ran from rather than accept him. Unfortunately, he won’t leave her alone. When he becomes further obsessed, something has to be done. Is Boone at risk for loving her? Will her rejected suitor put her in danger when she won’t back down? Or will Bella at last join together with her cat to stop him from killing Boone?

There are so many shifters and other paranormals in this story that I could hardly stay in my seat! A Griffin!!! Amazing… and poor Boone got a crash course in the paranormal. Grab your copy of this exciting story and see how the danger plays out.

I loved that this story has the Broken Peak characters written within. This story is about Boone, ex Navy SEAL frogman who arrived at Broken Peak with his men and Bella, mountain lion shifter, who left her clan because they wanted her to mate with Vince who she doesn't want and is working as a bartender at Dirty Whistle in the town of War was a very enjoyable story to read and review. What happens between Boone and Belle and the happenings that Vince brings while stalking her because Vince claims she's his mate was a engaging story with steamy romance, touches of humor and arresting action that kept me flipping the pages in this ARC I volunteer to read and review via Booksprout.

Great start to a new series. The author has taken us back to the Broken Peak area and the town of War to spend time with our friends and meet some new ones. Bella is a shifter that has runaway from her clan after being told that she will be mated to Vince. Boone is human and in town to help his friend, Vixen. When Vince becomes a stalker, Bella and Bonne work together in order to be safe. The story keeps you turning the pages with steam, fear, danger and action.

I love the fact that the shifter is the female this time😊. This one is connected to the Broken Peak Pack series. So we see some of the characters we know and love. I can’t wait to see where this series goes!!

This was a nice start to a new series. The characters were entertaining while the story line was engaging. There were just a couple of things that could have benefited from some more editing and refining.

Good book just needed some editing

The book was good but having been In a military family navy seals have teams and squadrons are airforce that needs to be corrected. It was driving me crazy.
