Inferno: Part 1

Rate this book
A suspenseful age gap romance from a USA Today bestselling author.

I met him on the worst day of my life.

After ditching my wedding and hopping on a flight to Rome, all I wanted was to forget about the burdens that had been placed on my shoulders since birth.

I never expected to meet him.

Dante Luciano.

Mysterious. Rugged. Alluring.
And possessing an Italian accent so toe-curling it should be illegal.

He's everything my cheating ex-fiancé isn't.
Which is precisely why I make a proposition I never would have in my former life.

It was just supposed to be one night.
It wasn't supposed to make me question everything.

Maybe I should have dug deeper into who he is.
Maybe I should have asked more questions.
Maybe I should have realized the truth that was staring at me through his familiar eyes.

They say you can never escape your past.
They were right...

Inferno: Part 1 is the first installment in T.K. Leigh's epic romantic suspense saga of secrets, lies, and betrayal. Grab your copy today.

When a book renders you completely speechless with your mouth left open in complete shock, how in the world can you sum it up more than that?

Inferno captured me from the beginning and took me on a ride of passion, a journey of a woman's newfound freedom from the chains that had been holding her captive all her life, experiences of a lifetime and a moment to shock every single reader, begging for more.

One of my favorites by far.

**ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review**

The flames are too hot to bare if you are to become consumed wholeheartedly. A novel that encompasses your mind, your realm of fantasy. TK Leigh gripped me, pulled me towards the heat of her first part of Inferno.

Be prepared for TK to bring the heat in this new endeavor, within Inferno. She will make you blush a little redder and fluster faster with her intense writing skills and she doesn't hold back which has always led me to be a fan of her work. While this book is on the shorter side, make no mistake that no detail is left unturned. The plot is on par and when you get to the end an enormous shocker will meet you. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

What if fate leads you on a path that you weren’t expecting. Ending up giving you a journey in which you would spin your life upside down? Fate has not been kind to Ellie, so she decides to take her life by the reins and spontaneously journeys to Rome. Along the way, she meets Dante, a mysterious, sinfully handsome Italian who makes her open up in ways she never thought possible.

Dante and Ellie are passionate, mesmerizing, and sizzling hot! Their relationship was written in a way that slowly builds just like your own body temp would in a lustful scene. TK’s dedication to her detail in characters, if only in a short novel is amazing. I loved both the hero and heroine and I am on pins and needles waiting, yearning for Part Two.

Inferno will burn into your hearts and it’s the perfect way to begin 2018 with a must read showstopper.

Inferno. The perfect name for this hot, intense book. Ladies, get your fans out because trust me, you'll need them. Once I started reading the first line of Inferno, I couldn't stop. I devoured this book, needing more of it. It's honestly that good.

Inferno tells us the story about Ellie, who is trapped in a life that is basically going nowhere. Her love life was ruined. She felt like she was just going through the motions of day-to-day living, basically just existing. It isn't until her best friend, Mila snaps her out of her funk, makes her do something that is so far out of her comfort zone, that she takes the leap. She finally decides life is for the living and she needs to live it to the fullest.

I can't go any further without giving away spoilers. I will say, once you read part one of Inferno, you will be swept away in this passionate, fierce, and suspense-filled book. T.k. Leigh's writing is - as always, phenomenal. She definitely has impressive talent. Part one leaves off on a pretty heavy cliff hanger that literally makes you beg for more. Don't worry, T.k. Leigh won't leave us hanging for too long. In the end, all I have to say is #TeamDante all the way!

THIS BOOK!
Sometime I want a book that has me breathing little faster and getting a little flushed, and this book delivers that!
Not only did we get a story that had GREAT characters, but we got a read tog et completely lost in.
I can't wait to read the rest of the stories in The Vault because if the other authors are half as good as TK, then it is going to be awesome!
Really, if you just was a super hot read with great characters and writing to boot, this is your grab for the day!

This book was AMAZING!!! It drew me in from the beginning, and kept my toes curling with how sexy Dante is. Dante and Ellie were perfect together. He brought her out of her shell, and showed her what a beautiful fun woman she is. And OMG. That ending!! Even when you know something major is coming, and have an idea what it might be, it’s still freaking shocking!! To say I can’t wait for the next book is a major understatement. I would definitely recommend this!!!

Holy hotness and its 5 burning stars! L-o-v-e this book! Even though it is short and a part of anthology, it hooked me from the first page till the end. Yeah, T.K. knows how to do that so well... I can't wait for the continues of this story because Dante - oh Dante - I need more of this man.

After running from her own wedding, and her own miserable life, Ellie wants a change. She wants to burry her old self and start over. She meets Dante - a super hot, successful Italian man who swifts her off her feet and makes her feel for the first time. What starts as a short, hot, vacation ramance does not end that way... You can count on T.K. for not go easy on us...

The word HOT can not describe how truly hot this book is. It made me tingle all over! And the end of it - well, talking about jaw dropping ending - like I said, I can't wait for this story to be continued. Great job, T.K.! Can't wait for more!

T.K. is one of my go to authors and this story just proves why I can't stop myself from immediately devouring whatever she releases.

Inferno is an intriguing story, to say the least. A beautiful woman who has been trapped and controlled her entire life, finally breaking free of the suffocating restraints. Meeting an enigmatic man who makes her feel things she's never felt before.

The chemistry and passion between Dante and Eleanor is off the charts. T.K. does an incredible job of building up the attraction and desire between these two characters. What started out as a proposition to just spend this limited time together quickly morphed into something that feels so much deeper than just a casual fling while Eleanor is in Rome.

T.K. seamlessly injects glimpses into Eleanor's dismal upbringing and family life into the story and it's very easy to see why she snapped and hopped on that plane to Italy. And then to meet someone like Dante, this mysterious, gorgeous man who seems to be able to read her every thought? A man who helps her discover things about herself she would have never explored otherwise? Is it fate? Is it some cosmic power finally shining down on her? Or is it something else altogether, something that Eleanor is not prepared for? We'll have to wait to find out in the next book...

After that bombshell ending, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to wait patiently for the next book!!

This story was amazing like the ending I'm so ready to scream and pull my hair out needing more. The writing, characters and everything about this story is so much more then what I was expecting. I'm compeltely and 100% blown away with this story. I Floved it from one page to another and the 1 person POV was just icing on this cake. The way each character brings so much to the table you can't help but turn the page and see what else they have to say. The sexual scenes are out of this world each word draws you in till your head is spinning. MUST READ. The ending was a shocker and a head spinner let me tell you, once that last page comes and you read it you will for sure want more, you'll need more after being red faced from blushing.

Wow!! Not only was this story steaming hot, it was sensual. Eleanor meets the hot Italian known as Dante in a plane headed to Italy. She has abandoned her so called life, where she was totally controlled by her parents and her so called finance whom she caught cheating, and spontaneously boards a plan abroad. Good bye to the old Ellie.

Dante strikes up a conversation with her that leaves a lasting impression on Ellie. Swoon! After landing, she doesn’t expect to see him ever again but fate intervenes. She runs into him again. The attraction is intense. The old Ellie would have never entertained the idea of flirting with a stranger but the new Ellie throws caution to the wind. She’s never met a man as sensual and sexual as Dante. They embark on an affair that leaves them both spinning.

I absolutely loved this story from beginnnig to end, well to cliffy. I especially loved Ellie’s transformation from proper and behaved Eleanor to carefree and wild Ellie. She’s enjoying the journey of shedding her old sheltered self and embarking on finding a new more free Ellie. Dante is so hot and swoon-worthy. His adoration of Ellie is so intense. Their time together is spent getting to know each other and of course the sex is insanely hot!!

I just wanted more of this story. The ending left me with my mouth hanging wide open. Can’t wait for the next book.

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is Part One to what looks like a four part novella series from T.K. Leigh. I will tell you to go ahead and expect a cliffhanger.

Ellie never believed in fate. That was something for the dreamer's, the romantic's, not someone as practical as she is. Fate had nothing to do with her walling in on her soon-to-be husband in a compromising position with his secretary. Fate had nothing to do with her hopping on a plane to Rome, effectively standing up her former fiance on their wedding day. And fate certainly had nothing to do with the handsome stranger sitting across the aisle from her, one who would open her mind and heart to things she never thought possible. Because if fate is real, if fate is pulling the strings, if fate is in charge of each person's destiny, she is cruel and unforgiving. Why would fate want her to experience a connection as she never had in her life, only to remind her it is fleeting? Whey would fate give her everything she never knew she always wanted? Why would fate let her have a taste, then crush those dreams? He could never be hers and she could never be his. And his deception may just may be her breaking point.

Poor Ellie I think I thought a million times. I could never imagine living the life she is expected to live. To do exactly what her parents wanted her to do in everything and to end up having to marry a man for political aspirations for both of the families. You see Ellie was suppose to marry Brock but instead caught him cheating on her and on her wedding day she hops a plane to Rome and is determined to figure out just exactly who she is without her parents controlling her life. Brock is awful. UGH I did not like him at all even though he isn't one of the characters in the book except in the stories Ellie told of him. He sounds like a very selfish man and I was so happy that Ellie ran. What she didn't expect was to meet a man on the plane who seemed to be able to read her life a book. This is the moment you know that Dante and Ellie are destined to bigger and better things. Dante you see believes in fate and Ellie does not. Although she begins to see that fate is probably the reason that he was sitting on that plane and that it was his restaurant she dined in her first night in Rome. He is also the man who opens her eyes to so many things she never realized were actually wrong in her life. I love Dante and Ellie together. But I will say you better be hanging on to something for the ending of this book. I never in a million years would have thought what happened was going to happen. Holy shocked. To say I can not wait for the second part of this series is an understatement.

This is amazing must read beginning to what is bound to be an absolutely mind blowing, passion filled series from T.K. Leigh.

This is a 4 part series about Dante and Ellie. A chance meeting on an airplane flight sets them up as a meet of fate soon after arriving in Italy. I'm listening to it on audio. This first book barely scratches the surface of whatever the storyline is going to be - but it definitely held my attention!! I don't know if it's the Italy setting...that always connects me. But so far so good and we shall see what really develops - its hard to tell right now. Obviously an insta- attract and some messy drama back story so far but maybe it will reveal something interesting down the line? Definitely ended on a cliffhanger.

This part 1 was only 4 hours on audio, 140 page book - so not much has happened yet except the bedroom connection!! This probably could have been condensed down into fewer books, I always mention since that is a silly pet peeve of mine!!

Book two in my Audible marathon!

Inferno was a pretty hot and entertaining start for this romance series and I'm definitely curious about continuing the series. It left us on a cliffhanger and part 2 & 3 are available on Audible escape so we'll see if I dive into these as well.

Anyway, Inferno follows a woman who left her cheater of a fiancé at the autel. After that she meets a much more interesting man in a flight to Rome. He leaves her an impression but she doesn't think she'll meet him again until she does and her past comes rushing in.

"I received the ARC in exchange for a honest review.

Wow! This story completely blew me away! I got swept up into it and I just couldn’t let go of the ride. It was incredible! Dante Luciano is by far one of the hottest, sexiest men I’ve met in a book. It heats me up just of thinking of him. The way he speaks is so eloquent. I’m in love with him myself. And that cliffhanger on the end was so unexpected! I certainly didn’t see that coming. I can’t wait for part 2! "

Do you believe in fate? Eleanor does not. Not until she leaves her fiance at the alter and boards a flight to Rome, Italy. Now, she is questioning whether meeting Dante is just coincidence, or fate itself. As she discovers her true identity, having her life scripted by her parents up to this point, Dante helps her explore her sexuality. Rome was never on my bucket list, but for some reason...I now have a desire to see it.

A short, but extremely HOT, read! T.K. Leigh is the master of writing characters I love and now I know she can do it with a Novella, as well. No matter the length of the story, she brings the characters to life and makes you love or hate them. In this case, I love both Eleanor and Dante. She is also the master of cliffhangers, and this is no exception. This may just be her cliffhanger to beat all other cliffhangers.

I was gifted this ARC, by the author, in return for an honest review. Honestly, you want to read this novella when you have a few hours to yourself and a glass of red wine to sip as you dream of Dante and Rome. Highly recommended!

Holy Inferno! I’m still feeling the steam from this one! By far one of my favorites! Dante and Ellie, holy moly no water can put that fire out! I started Inferno and could not put it down- it pulled me in line, hook and sinker from the get go..... Ellie and Dante start as a vacation fling, and it turns into so much more......Dante shows Ellie how to feel all around emotionally and physically... feelings she has never experience due to being in a miserable relationship- which cause her to run........ OMG THAT ENDING tho..... holy guacamole I am dying and CAN NOT wait for the next book- it’s all I think about! KUDOS TK...... Inferno rocked my world and I can’t wait to get it rocked harder 😜

I was so pulled into this story! A really in depth storyline that has me anxiously awaiting the next part of the story! I love the discussion of fate and how the woman slowly changes her view on it. And a man believing in fate? Hot! To me, the two main characters are soulmates - I am not sure if that is what the author intended, but it is how I feel! And having sight seeing in Italy thrown in was a bonus! And that cliffhanger?! Did not see that coming! lol

Holy shit! What a book and what an ending. I can confirm that I did not see that cliffhanger thrown at me. At all.

What started as a normal book about a whirlwind romance where two people who are just involved for pleasure with them finally falling in love turned totally the other way in just few chapters. As this was my first book of T.K.Leigh I really did not know what to expect,. Except than the fact that she was a famous author I really did not know what to do but god she did not disappoint me at all. The book sucked me in and kept me in my toes to the fact I was even secretly reading it at work. Though we are not given the background of either of our characters I ave a goof feeling that we would be given it in the upcoming books. I'm literally dying to get my hands on the next book.

It got alot better as the story progressed, the beginning however was a bit dull.

Ellie and Dante rock this book with passion... near the end. After what seems like a formal job interview (the whole sitting down to tea to discuss and prolong anxiety let it down for me.)

Once Ellie changes her hair color all bets are off as she and Dante the chef embark in public toilet sex, and promiscuous foreplay.

The ending was a bit days of our lives.... but yea once it got to the art gallery i was hooked.

***Not my typical review, but it's part of a series so I figured I'd do this quick review (mainly comprised of quotes) to share a bit of my thoughts. If I make it through the series in it's entirety, I'm more likely to leave a more in depth review of the entire thing on the last book of the series.***

"They wouldn’t care that I’d walked in on him fucking another woman in the home we’d shared for the past three years, in the bedroom I’d decorated, on the bedding set that was an early wedding present from my grandparents. They’d turn it back on me, saying if I put more effort into making him happy, he wouldn’t have felt the need to go elsewhere."

So she leaves him standing at the altar on the day of their wedding.

And then runs into this hot Italian guy, not once but twice. First on the airplane and then later after she's landed in Rome, she sees him again in a restaurant that he just so happens to own too.
“Let’s just say I believe in fate. And I don’t want to call you what everyone else does, Eleanor,” he added, almost as an afterthought."

“I truly believe I had some predetermined destiny that this was the path I was meant to take. Growing up, my father wasn’t exactly part of my life. He was an American serviceman stationed here. My mother loved him. He said he loved her, too…until she got pregnant. That’s when she learned he had a wife and two kids back in the States.”

And just for the record, I totally figured out who this guy really was by 70%, which is when this quote right above this was provided. So no shocker there when the bomb was dropped at the end.

Anyway, to get straight to the point, this book was a very quick easy read. Nothing monumental or earth shattering, but just a feel-good, quick read. The only thing that got on my nerves was the heroine, Eleanor or Ellie. She seemed to be throwing herself a constant pity party and the whole "Woe is me!" whiney bullshit got old fast.

There's still some more installments to go and I've purchased the second one and started it, but so far it's not been so great. To be honest, after being left on a major cliffhanger in the first one, it's been pretty cheesy so far into the second one. This first book is good enough, though, that I would recommend it if you're looking for a quick, pleasant read.

"For all I knew, we were alone in our own little world. That was the effect Dante Luciano seemed to have on me. Whenever I was with him, I forgot everything else."

It's short, compact and perfect for this genre. I liked the fact that it's not quite so whimsical like other books and the ending was shocking that now I have to read the second book( which I don't mind at all).
.Though I have one question: 'Why this genre always have rich, famous male character?".

OMFGGGGGGG

I CAN'T right now.

The ending of this book. TOTAL CLIFFHANGER!!!! I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!!!! :OOOOOOOO

I'm standing behind the front desk at the hotel that I work at and my face shows my shock at that ending and my heart is racing with anxiety. I need part 2 NOWWWW!

Okay, other than that total cliffy, this book was AMAZEBALLS!!!

Dante is hot. Sexy. Rich. Suave. Tall, dark, and handsome. Ellie is beautiful, small and sweet. Together these two can create a power couple. And the sex is HOT. More than hot. Like scorching. On FIRE. BURNING. HOTTTT. TK Leigh knows how to turn a girl ON. *fans face*

I really, really enjoyed this book. From the very first page. This book is amazing and a total MUST READ. It's in my list of top favorite books!

I am dying now for part 2. This book was quick and short, but full of plot and amazing sex. The ending will shock you and make you crazy for part 2, and it's not currently out yet. I've left a shouty capitals message on TK Leigh's Facebook page basically begging for part 2. That's how crazy that ending made me.

Five huge flaming stars for this book!

To the reason I believe fate is real....

What a dedication! Part one of this fantastic series starts off with a wowza!

This novella is the introduction of Eleanor and Dante.  Fate really does step in with these two.  Their chemistry is off the charts, white hot! Dante is full on alpha swooniness and Eleanor is a breath of fresh air, I love how she is embracing the new her and shaking off the shackles of her old life! She comes out of her shell beautifully.

T.K. weaves the story in Rome so well, I almost believed I was there, sitting outside by the Trevi Fountain, watching Dante and Eleanor interact.

The romance, the intrigue and one hell of a cliffhanger ending, makes me chomping at the bit for more!
