Inferno: Part 2

Rate this book
A stolen glance across a darkened restaurant.
A kiss under the Italian moon.
A proposition I never would have made in my former life.

Our story began just like all fairy tales do...

Once upon a time.

Once upon a time, a mysterious, passionate man opened my eyes to things I'd been blind to. My heart to feelings I never thought imaginable. My mind to endless possibilities.

Once upon a time, I experienced something I didn't think existed.

Once upon a time, I learned how to fly.

Little did I know it was with broken wings.

How can we have a future when he's still tormented by his past?
How can I give him my heart when experience tells me to keep it guarded?
How can I still want to be with a man who would lie to me so recklessly?

They say life is a series of roads, each fork a decision that can lead you to a different destination.

Now I find myself faced with a decision of my own.

Do I put my trust in Dante? Or do I turn back into the same sheltered Ellie I was when I boarded that plane?

Only fate knows the answer…

Inferno: Part 2 is the second installment in T.K. Leigh's epic romantic suspense saga of secrets, lies, and betrayal. Continue Dante and Ellie's story today.

What a ride❗️
The plot developed with distinctive twists and turns, scheming, the suspense escalated and I was thrilled by the romance between Eleanor and Dante.
The second part brought out emotions and more character development.

Welcome back to the Inferno! Part two into T.K. Leigh’s serial gives us more Dante and Ellie, who are blistering hot together.

Stop! Have you read part one yet? If not then I recommend you start there, but keep reading if you want because you won’t get any spoilers from me.

Part one left us with questions and had us craving, no begging for more. Let me tell you part two delivers. All the questions from book one are answered, but more quickly take their place. Ellie struggles with trusting Dante after he lies; their chemistry however is still off the charts sizzling. It was a wonderful experience watching the connection between these two ignite.

This is one hot suspenseful read. All the twists and turns are done well, and leave you wanting more, more Ellie and definitely more Dante!! In case you weren’t aware it does end on a cliffhanger and I am in desperate need of part three but I’m not sure if I can handle the red-hot flames Dante produces. Just kidding, burn me baby!!

FIVE Scorching Hot Stars!!! 2018 is burning up with the Inferno series!!!

Is there any way for me to love this book more? The series has completely captivated me and the fact that it set in the background of Italy completely makes it much better. Here I am totally regretting my choice that I did not enjoy my time more when I was in Rome. I certainly have to go back to explore the beautiful country.

Dante and Eleanor deserves the world for what they had to go through. Especially Dante. Sometimes the story itself feels a bit cliche but just when it does Ms Leigh manages to throw in curve ball. The second part ends quite bittersweet. Our protagonists completely separated but by their own choices, I know there will be some time between them because Ellie herself did take the correct decision. They are both broken and they need to find themselves before they manage to fix each other.

Just like the ending of the first part, now I am waiting impatiently to start the third part. I am quite sure that I would be done with the fourth part today in no time. I guess I will be taking my kindle with me to the wedding I have tonight and being the anti-social girl I am but I am sure I won't be regretting it the slightest.

This is book 2 of a four part series ~ you have to read them in order as it will all become 1 big story by the end, I'm assuming!! It picked up immediately where part 1 ended. I will echo what I said about the first one. This kept me listening....It isn't the greatest story, but it's good enough to hold my interest and a decent audio. This also ends on a cliffhanger so I will pick right up with part 3. All 4 parts are available with your library card, if it participates - on Hoopla!!

Dante just keeps getting better and better and hotter and hotter! Move over, ladies! I've claimed him as MINE. :)

I honestly don't have a lot of time to read, so when I do take a breather and dive into a book, I want one that captures me from the start and doesn't let go of me even after the end. T.K. Leigh has mastered just that with Inferno. Part Two has all the steam, angst, heartbreak, and hope weaved into every page.

Now I'm on to Part 3!

When you realize that you are finishing a book with a cliffhanger and Write to be continued...
you want to pull your hair. But this time I can say that the end left me with hope.
When I finished inferno part 1, the end left my breath breathless and I waited for the second book.
And OMG how much I loved this book. On Inferno 2 I connected more to Dante, I felt him, crying with him I pleaded with him.
On the other hand, I also understood Eleanor's side, the desire to stand up for her, to show him and everyone that she could be independent and that she had to find herself to find the whole, Only then she could be with him in heart and soul.
I do not want to do spoilers Especially after what she discovered. But you'll have to read for yourself. Then you will understand the dilemma that eats it from the inside. Not only for herself but also for Dante.
so, first go read book inferno 1 before you read the second book.

I need to finish with this: "HOPE, FAITH. LOVE". I believe in all three.
THANK YOU T.K, I CAN'T WAIT TO PART 3.

After reading Inferno: Part 1 and dealing with that major cliffhanger, I couldn't wait to get my hands on book 2. I am the type of person who spends countless hours trying to guess what is going to happen in the next installment when we're left hanging like that. T.K. doesn't disappoint, taking the reader on a journey from the streets of Rome to the beautiful Italian countryside.

This installment focused on Dante and Eleanor together. T.K. just knows how to write and build a foundation between two people. The feelings they have for one another, the thoughts and emotions that run through them as they think about each other, the physical connections they create. She just does such an amazing job that I tend to forget these people are just characters in a book and are not real people who live and breathe.

Fate and Karma play a huge roll in Dante and Eleanor's story. Was it fate that brought them together? How big of a part will fate play in whether these two have a future together? We get a lot of background on Dante's life in this book. What he has been through, things that are going on behind the scenes of his life. We learn more about the kind of childhood Eleanor had, what she's been forced to endure with parents who seemingly only had her so they could portray the perfect family picture. And we find out that Dante and Eleanor's lives are intertwined in a way that no one would have ever expected. Did fate have a hand in that too?

Inferno: Part 2 is part of a series so you absolutely need to read book 1 prior to picking up this one up. And if you've already read part 1, you will remember that Eleanor only set out to stay in Italy for a few weeks, just to get away from all the crap and turmoil her life was in before she hopped on that plane. That little detail, the fact that she is heading back home soon, was something I dreaded happening, as did Dante and Eleanor. It was so obvious to me that these two were meant to be together!! It was so obvious the feelings they have for each other, even though it has only been a short time. And Dante was not shy about telling Eleanor how he felt about her. "I need you, too. Like lungs need oxygen. Like the desert needs the rain. Like a sparrow needs wings." Sigh... such beautiful words. But then, he IS Italian, and I could just hear him say those things to Eleanor in his sexy Italian accent.

Eleanor really tugged at my heartstrings in this book. Well, both of them did, actually, but she did because of things she finds out and decisions she needs to make because of it. I know what I want her to do, but it's easy for me to sit back and offer advice when it isn't my life. She has things she needs to do, accomplish, finish before she feels she can have a clear future with Dante. But does she really need to do the things she's determined to do? Everyone who weighs in on this topic has a different answer for her, particularly Dante.

Once again, we are left with a cliffhanger, and we'll need to wait until the third book is released. Will Fate play a hand in deciding what direction Eleanor's future leads her? And will Karma step in and right some of the wrongs that she and Dante have suffered through? We have to wait and see!

Let me just say that I couldn't start this book fast enough because curiosity was killing me.
It's amazing when a single book has that effect on me.
T. K. Leight is a genius that will hook you up in a sec.
Inferno part 2 is her new release and Jesus... This author had some explaining to do.
Before you read this one it's imperative that you read part one because if you don't you'll not understand this story.
This book continues to explore Elie's life and her decisions. She wants a new life surrounded by the ones she loves. Her trip to Italy made her discover things she didn't knew she was missing and wanted.
Similar to the first book this one just took my breath away. The story was getting even more amazing by the second and I couldn't stop reading it.
The plot is amazing, super engaging and very well developed. The hot scenes were getting even more intense and I was glued to my Kindle and ending up needing a cold shower...
The chemistry between the characters is intense, raw, beautiful and heartfelt and I wanted to get into the book to hold them or slap them...
This book presented us with love, desire, friendship, family as well as crime, madness and deceive.
T. K. why did you do this? Why ending it like that? I can't wait for the rest of the series. Praying that March come quickly.

Dante and Ellie are your new Gideon and Eva.
The thrilling and emotional journey these two embark on together will hurt your heart and make you grip the edge of your seat; frantically turning the pages because you desperately need them to make it.
Dante, a handsome entrepreneur and chef from Italy will make you believe in chivalry and real romance again. While Ellie, although stubborn, has all the wit, fire and passion you crave from a strong heroine.
Outside forces threaten these two again and again. At times you’ll be left wondering what fate really has in store for them, and if pushing forward is truly worth the pain?
Through this four-book series T.K. Leigh takes you on a rollercoaster of love, loss and growth. You will feel every emotion leap from the page and into your heart when you give time to this gripping story.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

If you read Inferno Part 1 you know that we ended up with a huge cliffhanger and learned a shocking secret. I will say that not everything is how it seems. I thought my heart was going to break in a million pieces. Inferno Part 2 will pull you emotions in twenty different directions. You also get to learn some secrets from Dante and Eleanor has a huge decision to make. This book is fast paced and will leaving you screaming no when it ends. I for one can not wait for the next part. I am so addicted to this story.

T.K. Leigh has done an amazing job with this series and I am so glad these books release a month apart so you do not have to wait long to get the next part. I am sure it is going to be a doozie of a ride she is going to take us on in Part 3

Inferno: Part 2 picks up where Inferno: Part 1 left off on that epic cliffhanger. I was waiting to get my hands on this book so I could find out what happens and OMG this was a doozy of a story…just to start off by saying, this book , too, ends in a major cliffhanger . This book took us from the streets of Rome to the gorgeous Italian countryside. I really felt like I was there, that is how much T.K. really painted such a great picture with her words.
In this book, it is focused on Dante and Eleanor together. The feelings they have for one another, the emotions that are evoked when they each think of one another, the physical connections that they create just by thinking about one another… its raw, magical, electrifying, and potent. How did these two people get brought together. More is focused on that in this book…Fate and Karma. There is a huge secret that is unleashed in this book and that sets up the stage for book 3. There are many twists and turns that are unleashed in this book as well as betrayal for Eleanor. She doesn’t know where she can turn and she is afraid what is next for her. This book is fast paced and will leaving you dying to know what is going to happen, especially as Eleanor is left with a huge decision that she has to make. I was literally left holding my Kindle, wondering what she would do. I cant wait for book 3 to find out what happens between her and Dante. T.K. Leigh has done an amazing writing job , writing this series in such a way that has this a sizzling hot read and also a suspenseful, taunt story as well. She leaves me wanting more Ellie and definitely more Dante!!!

My Rating: 4.6 stars *****

Part 2 of the Inferno series brings more drama and intrigue than the first part. Ellie and Dante are still playing house until she returns to the US, but after the cliffhanger of the first book, there's more tension between them brought on by Dante's lies of omission. Ellie's quick to believe Dante's reasoning though, and soon the plot starts to evolve into a story of mystery that hits closer to Ellie than she ever realized.

Safe-read. No OW. Some OM drama, but it's not romantic.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Ellie is on her way to the alter when she realizes she’s about to agree to spend the rest of her life in the same loveless controlling style she grew up with. And she’s done with it. So she skips out on her own wedding and catches a plane to Italy. She meets Dante on the flight. When she sees him later on a sightseeing trip, he tells her it must be fate. But not everything is always as it seems.
Tk Leigh is one of my favorite romantic suspense authors. This one was a little more romance and a little less suspense. Ellie deserved a sweet guy like Dante.

When Inferno part 1 left off with a cliffhanger I could not wait for part 2. This did not disappoint! In order to understand the story, part 1 must be read before this. Everything I was left wondering about was answered here but now there are so many other things I need to know about! This is a hot, intense, deliciously written book that will leave readers needing more and waiting impatiently for part 3.

Inferno part 2 picks up right were part 1 ended. You don't want to miss out on this series. Have some tissues nearby while reading this one. We get to know more of Dante and watch the characters connect even deeper. The emotions and passion throughout the book give me goosebumps. I love it!!! I love Dante and Eleanor! I don't want to give anything away so if you read book one then you'll want to continue reading this series. If your thinking of reading Inferno, do it, just start with part 1. I devoured both books. Part 3 can't come soon enough.

This is the second part in the series and they must be read in order. Dante has opened Eleanor’s eye to many things. She is amazed at the way he makes her feel after such a short time of knowing each other. However, their bubble was popped when she learned that her ex-fiancé is Dante’s half-brother. Dante arrived just in time to save her before her ex could do too much damage. But know she is left confused. She is angry at him for knowing who she was and who her ex was but not telling her that he knew. Dante is sorry for holding out. He wants to prove to Eleanor how great things could be between them if she would just give him second chance. He hasn’t felt this way in such a long time and didn’t believe he ever would again. Eleanor wants to believe that everything can be great. There is just so much going on in her head. She agrees to give him a second chance but makes no promises about staying beyond her original date. This series just keeps getting better and better. I can’t say enough about it. T.K. Leigh always writes these books that pull at my heart. Fate is the only allowing Dante to keep going on. Eleanor now believes in fate as well but she is thinking that if they are meant to be fate will make sure their paths cross again. I feel for both these characters. Eleanor has learned how free life can be. How great love can be but at the same time how painful it can be. When you can’t be with the person you love. When leaving them may be better for them than staying with them. She wants Dante to get the truth about how his daughter died. She feels she may be holding him back from doing that. That maybe she can help him get that truth in a different way. I can’t wait to read the next part of this series.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.

Synopsis
Part One Synopsis:

Recommended for mature readers due to strong language and explicit sexual situations.

I never believed in fate. That was something for the dreamers, the romantics, not someone as practical and pragmatic as I.

Fate had nothing to do with me walking in on my soon-to-be husband in a compromising position with his secretary.

Fate had nothing to do with me hopping on a plane to Rome, effectively standing up my former fiancé on our wedding day.

And fate certainly had nothing to do with the handsome stranger sitting across the aisle from me, one who would open my mind and heart to things I never thought possible.

Because if fate is real, if fate is pulling the strings, if fate is in charge of each person’s destiny, she’s cruel and unforgiving.

Why would fate want me to experience a connection as I never had in my life, only to remind me it’s fleeting?

Why would fate give me everything I never knew I always wanted?

Why would fate let me have a taste, then crush those dreams?

He could never be mine.
I could never be his.
And his deception may just be my breaking point.

holy mother of Gosh, This story wow, just WOW!!! I loved every single thing about this story. The words, love, emotions all of it. TK really did an outstanding job with this story. The story had great word building on each and every page it really made for a fast and fun page turner of a story. The story had something new and exciting on every page from one shock moment to the next something new was happening. Romance for sure it's hott, steamy and omg blush worthy. Eleanor and Dante are this super amazing couple in this story I think this time around they handles much much more on the background of each it really brought the story to life. Most of this story did have some tear jerker parts, you know the ones that you want to pull your hair out at the same time have snot running down your face, I have to say it was worth every bit of that and more. This easy to read story had a ending that has left me craving more, I couldn't get enough of Eleanor and her choice between staying and going (you'll have to read it to see what I'm talking about) and then Dante for the way he opened up and seemed to have the world crashing around him (again will have to read the story). I was defiantly hooked from page one. MUST READ!!! Unpredictable, amazing and not enough words to describe this story.

Inferno Part two is such a fast read and not because it's a short story, it's because I lost myself in the emotional pull that I was drawn into by T.K. Leigh's writing.  I'm hoping everyone has read part one in the series. I'm going to try to not spoil anything for those who need to put this one down and run and grab part one. By the end of part one, let's just say that our minds were left in a fog- unclear to Eleanor's future and Dante's trust.

Eleanor's life feels like it's crashing down around her, is there anyone in her life that she can trust? Dealing with the feeling of betrayal, Ellie finds herself questioning her time with Dante. Discovered secrets has her imagination and herself feeling as if she needs to run away, but the feeling of leaving Dante is harder than she could have ever imagined.

Dante... Dante... Dante this masterpiece of a man will have you wanting to scream his name. His emotional heartbreak of a story had me hugging my own heart and wiping away tears. This passionate man drew me in and has a hold on me, I almost cursed Eleanor at times.

OMG... this series is going to be the cause of my heart breaking into little pieces and pulling out my hair in need of answers. This is an amazing story of two broken souls that our deserving of the love that was brought by fate, but the need for answers and self discovery may be the things that tears them apart.

T K Leigh has a way of writing that keeps you glued to every word from the first to the last. Inferno Part 1 was good but OMG Part 2 will leave you craving so much more. Dante is a dream. You wish you can have him. He has gone through a lot and you feel for him. Even though he only has been with Eleanor for a week he is so in love with her. Afterall, fate has brought them together. Eleanor must make a choice, to leave or to stay. How can they be together forever after only knowing each other for a week. Dante's explanation fate does not have a timetable. If it is going to be it will be. They have such a dynamic relationship. Eleanor finally knows that love is for real. Dante has shown her what love is. He was brought up by his mother and her family and was loved. Eleanor was not so lucky. The only reason why she was even born was because it helped her father's political career. She never knew what love was. Even though she only knows Dante a week, she has felt and received more love in that one week than she has in her entire life. That even includes her relationship with Brock. Their relationship too was to build his political career.

Is Dante correct when he says that fate has brought them together and they will be together forever or will she go back to the states and never forget the love she felt for Dante and learn to stand on her own?

Mother. Fucker.

TK Leigh put me through the wringer with this book! I’m hopeful one second, crying the next, and now I’m pissed because of that ending!!

“Because I fell.”
“You...fell?” I blinked repeatedly, swallowing hard.
“Just a little at first,” he murmured, grabbing my hands in his once more. “But with each smile...” He kissed my hand. “Each laugh...” He kissed my other hand. “Each brush of your skin on mine...” He pulled back, meeting my eyes. “I fell.”

So, in this installment, we learn a lot more about Dante. And man, does he have a heart breaking past. Eleanor’s time in Italy is slowly coming to a close...the chapter on her time with Dante about to be over. If fate is real, then fate will determine how this story ends.

Let me tell you, near the end, I cried. I could almost feel the pain between the two. It’s sweet, but there’s so much pain behind it.

The writing is phenomenal. I’ve always admired TK Leigh’s work. She’s a very talented writer and knows how to get the reader invested in the story. If you read book one, you know you want to read book two to get all the answers you’re looking for.

“Your cousin, Beatrice, had quite the tale about how she and Giuseppe got together.”
“Their love story is like one you read about in books or see in films.” He linked his hand with mine again. “But I like ours better,” he murmured.

Welcome back to the Inferno! This is part two of T.K. Leigh’s Inferno series. And let me tell you this series is a SCORCHER!!

I recommend reading Part 1 first, so you get the back story of Dante and Eleanor. And you definitely need that!! As this part picks up directly where part 1 lets off.

When part one ended, I was left mouth agape at what was discovered!! I was like NOOOOO it can't end like this!!! I need part 2 now!!! But I patiently waited, and I was sooooo not disappointed. Part 2 delivers everything I could have wanted and more!!!

Of course Eleanor struggles with trusting Dante, she keeps bits of her heart and herself closed off. But in no way can she deny their passion, and chemistry. Let me say these two together are definitely a RAGING INFERNO!!!

TK brings a lot more then heat this fabulous series, she brings suspense, and mystery. So many twists and turns throughout this story. More secrets are uncovered and once again I'm like NOOOOOO don't end there!!! Without giving much away, we are faced with another cliffy here. And I'm DYING to get my hands on part 3. I gotta see where fate decides to take Eleanor and Dante.

T.K. Leigh is trying to kill me….with that cliffy.

OMG! I just can’t with the angst and suspense!! I FLOVE IT! This story has gripped my heart from the beginning. I’m mesmerized by the continuing love story of Ellie and Dante.

After we pick up where part 1 ends, Dante and Ellie have some obstacles to overcome before continuing their relationship. Ellie uncovers more of Dante’s past and it’s more shocking than she could have ever imagined. In spite of the impediments they face, their love continues to blossom. The more time they spend together the deeper they fall for each other.

T.K. Leigh just sucks you in with her storylines. There is so much angst in this one, which is not unusual for this author. The writing is superb and the descriptions of Italy and the vineyards makes me want to jump on a plane right now. There is heartbreak involving Dante’s past and it’s so devastating that it made me cry. The turmoil he goes through daily makes him want to hang on to the one bright light he’s found in Ellie. Her time in Italy is coming to an end though and she must decide what course to take. Fate has brought them together and who’s to say what it has in store for them next. I can’t wait! Give me part 3 now!

Inferno: Part 2 picks up where readers left off in the first novella. T.K. Leigh certainly knows how to build the intensity and demand for more with her Inferno series. I no sooner finished the last sentence of Part 1 before I was scrambling to start book 2. Her writing is spectacular and I actually enjoyed book 2 more then book one.

I tend to rate cliffhangers and novellas on a lower scale because I just don't enjoy being left hanging. I also don't like how short novellas are as a rule. I'd rather have a full length book. That said, I couldn't possible give Inferno: Part 2 less then five stars! T.K. Leigh brought readers to the edge of their seats with this one, and honestly? I never did relax back because with Inferno: Part 2 the hits just keep coming! The writing of Part 2 is just as exceptional as Part 1. The sexy times are incredibly hot!!! And we get more of Dante's backstory with this novella. T.K. really humanized him with the backstory that she developed for Dante - its another layer of this story that will leave readers stunned!

Read the Inferno novellas as soon as you can. They are quick to suck you in and while they do leave you wanting more...it's the sweetest anticipation!!!
