RUMBLE, TUMBLE . . . OOF! This brilliant tale is about a bear, his sandwich and a spot of mayhem – with shaped pages to turn, giggles galore, and lots of noisy words to say! Created by Ben Newman, the illustrator of the bestselling Astro Cat series.

The bear is looking forward to eating his yummy sandwich. But suddenly – BUMP! – he trips on a rock. Then – FLUMP! – he starts tumbling down the hill, and into the path of some unsuspecting creatures . . .

Specially developed and tested with his own preschool-aged children Rumble Tumble is based on common animal noises and miming games played by preschoolers everywhere. The lively and rhythmic words in this story are easy to remember and say together, and coupled with the dynamic, colourful illustrations and cut-away pages, this book helps preschoolers develop vital pre-reading skills.

Fans of Rumble Tumble ones will also enjoy Ben Newsman's Snip Snap!

This is my son's current favourite and we have read it twenty times in the last 24 hours! He came bounding in holding it at 6.30am this morning saying 'Rumble Tumble!'
Bear is so busy trying to eat his sandwich that he
falls over a rock, which disturbs a bees nest, which disturbs a snake and they crash into a tortoise and so it continues until everyone goes 'rumble tumble'
My son loves everything about this. The pages are nice and thick and have flaps so he can easily turn the pages. He loves watching the animals falling over! Everytime we start the story he says 'Be careful Bear' which unfortunately doesn't help!
He likes the bees that look 'very cross' and he loves the 'hissy' snake. His favourite page is when they all tumble over which is very funny but he also likes pretending to cry and do the sound effects and look at the little bees who all have a small piece of sandwich to cheer them up at the end!
The illustrations are so colourful and vibrant and my son loves all the expressions on the animal's faces. This is the perfect book for two year olds. Funny and interactive with lots of noisy words to say together!
