Acclaimed by therapists and MDs alike, this book is filled with testimonials of real-life people who have benefitted from this approach when other attempts to end their suffering were fruitless. Hahn and Beckett offer you an entirely new way of understanding your suffering, giving you inspiration and a proven process to create miracles in your own life.

In addition, therapists will have enough information to immediately start using the approach with clients without needing more training.
The One-Hour Miracle includes a protocol that allows you to facilitate this process on your own by finding the root cause of your suffering and shifting it. This Life-Centered Therapy (LCT) framework helps you live and engage in a life of freedom, peace, joy, wisdom, and vitality.
Ever since I got the ARC copy of the book from HCI books, I have been reading it during the entire weekend absorbing every word the book had to offer.
It is just the book I need to reread (yes, planning to reread already!) every weekend or at the beginning of every week to refresh my thoughts and get ready to face the entire week ahead better than what I used to.
The book is written in a very accessible format with short chapters and simple language. It's apt for beginners as well as for the non-fiction and fiction lovers like myself.
I have a very hectic schedule each week handling three different jobs including the entire weekend and holidays at times. Fatigue/ demotivation is inevitable. I yearn for a book like this one during most weekends and whenever I need some motivation.
The technique explored in the book, Life Centered Therapy, works quite well for me as I can apply all the five step process focusing on mindfulness as well as the body.
The book won't take time for you to read. However, the result of reading this book will be immense.
Thank you, HCI Books and the authors, for the advance reading copy.
Andrew Hahn and Joan Beckett present a compelling guide to self-healing through their unique five-step process. By focusing on uncovering and transforming the stories that shape our lives, the authors offer practical tools for profound emotional and psychological shifts. Rooted in compassion and actionable insights, this book bridges therapeutic techniques with personal empowerment.
The five steps are: set the intention, discover the story, release emotional energy, access new awareness, and re-author your life. The steps are accessible and well explained, and theoretically can be completed within an hour. I think if someone is new to the process it may well take far longer and require repeated efforts, so whilst the title is understandably catchy, I’m not sure it’s entirely fair. The authors do acknowledge this and provide tool for both those who succeed within an hour and those who require longer or repeated attempts.
This is a transformative resource for anyone seeking to re-author their life and move toward lasting healing without limiting beliefs. Accessible yet profound, The One-Hour Miracle is an inspiring guide for personal transformation and lasting change.
I just read The One-Hour Miracle and was very impressed with the approach of Life Centered Therapy. Unlike traditional therapy or counseling, the Life Centered Therapy approach goes to the root of the problem in practical ways. Instead of reliving trauma, the goal is to observe it, giving the issue a name, thereby removing it as being who the person really is. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is trying to overcome aspects of their life that is holding them back and for spiritual coaches, life coaches, therapists, psychiatrists, and psychologist.
A super helpful tool in helping to re-wire and transform mindsets while healing using LCT. It is interesting to read the testimonies included. Basically this is not just a read and put down kind of book it is more reference for you to go back and work on your own positive changes.
Truly excellent in terms of scope and the audacity of what’s presented. However, I found myself frequently disengaging — perhaps it was the audio version — as the narration sometimes focused heavily on descriptive context rather than emphasizing the core principles.
