Aside from the first story in this book which I really enjoyed, the rest of the stories in this book are so lame. I don’t know if it was just me but I didn’t find them funny at all.
I used to love these series, with well curated stories..however now they’ve become a bunch of American church related stories that have nothing funny to them.
Light heartwarming and funny stories from a great bunch of contributors who can really write and tickle your funny bone! At least once a year I indulge in a Chicken Soup For the Soul book and am never disappointed. This one is a recent publication and well worth spending time with. You'll laugh, smile and have a good time!
These books are filled with various stories that people contributed of things that happened to them which they perceive to be funny. What's funny to one person is not always funny to another. I got a few laughs out of this. I am thankful for the clean humor.
I don’t know what this says about me but there’s an entire section in this book dedicated specifically to stories about cats and I just skipped right on over that whole thing.
