A theme park “princess” meets a single dad…who turns out to be a real prince! Enjoy the delightful royal romance from acclaimed author Teri Wilson and Hallmark Publishing.
Lacey found her dream job: playing a princess character at a popular fairytale theme park in sunny southern Florida. Her diamond tiara might not be real, but the smiles of the children she meets every day certainly are. It’s just too bad that her ex-boyfriend was never impressed with her career choice.
Henry, the crown prince of Bella-Moritz, is trying to fulfill his young daughter’s birthday wish: to be a normal girl with a normal life. That’s why they’re pretending to be ordinary tourists at an American amusement park. Henry lost his wife four years ago, and he’s been going through the motions ever since. But could a meeting with a make-believe princess lead to real love?
This enchanting romance includes a free Hallmark original recipe for Cucumber Dill Tea Sandwiches.

Once Upon a Royal Summer by Teri Wilson A contemporary royal romance from Hallmark publishing. Lacey has been working at a Florida theme park as a Royal Princess for years. She loves making all the children happy. It’s her dream job even though some don’t understand. After meeting a little girl that says she a princess too and then waltzing with the girl’s father, Lacey is surprised to learn they really are Royals. Lacey spends the next several days being a personal escort for the two at the theme park, with Lacey and the child dressed in matching costumes. Of course love blooms, first with the child, and then with the father.
Typical Hallmark with a best friend confidant, a manipulative mother, an ex, and a forbidden romance. Here you get all that with an adorable child, shared loss of a mother, shared princess costumes including tiara, and a father that wants the best for his child. There are more cute twists that are predictable but isn’t that what we like about Hallmark and these stories? A guaranteed happily ever after for all. Sappy, sweet and solid gold.
I listened to an audiobook that was narrated by Brittany Presley. It was well timed, comfortable to listen to and exactly matched what I would expect of a Hallmark narration.
I received a copy of an audiobook from NetGalley, Hallmark Publishing and #DreamscapeMedia.
This book was adorable. If you’re looking for a fairy tale retelling and a princess fantasy come true—this is your book wrapped up in sweet cotton candy with a real life prince. Lacey works at a theme park as Princess Sweet Pea. She loves her job and has always wanted to be a theme park princess ever since her mother was in the hospital and princesses from the local theme park came to visit her as a child. When she meets the lovely 6-year-old Rose and her brooding father Henry at a tea party at the theme park, they make an immediate impression. Later she finds out they are real royalty and she’s been asked to be their tour guide for their time in the park.
This story was simply lovely. I loved Henry and Rose—a prince and his young daughter with their own sad backstory. Lacey was a delightful heroine. This was such a sweet love story. The one thing that detracted from the reading experience was the editing. This book needs another editing pass as there were numerous errors/typos throughout.
I am a big sucker for the prince falling in love with the commoner trope so naturally, when I saw this book I immediately snapped it up to read. Once Upon A Royal Summer by Teri Wilson has all the wonderful things I have come to expect from a Hallmark book or movie: lovable characters, a sweet romance, and a big emphasis on friendship, family, and community. Lacey and Henry were likable and relatable characters and their journey to a happy ending was a lot of fun to read about. My only complaint is that it went by way too quickly. Highly recommend this sweet cozy romance.
Thank you to NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ I love royal romances and I was happy with how much I enjoyed this one! This royal romance follows Lacey Pope, who has followed her dream of helping others and brightening their days as a theme park princess. When Prince Henry Chevalier of Bella-Moritz goes on a vacation with his daughter, Princess Rose, to the theme park where Lacey works, both Henry and Lacey learn what it's like to meet someone from a completely different world and to look at their world through a different perspective 🔎
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ I really admired Lacey's character in that while she enjoys entertaining children and their families for a living as a princess character, she does so with a genuine heart and a driving passion to make everyone's visit a memorable one. It was heartwarming and inspiring to see that her experiences with her mom in the hospital where what encouraged her to be someone that could be a positive force in many children's lives. She's hopeful for a fairytale romance where Prince Charming will sweep her off of her feet but also feels that it's not a real possibility given the reality of romance in her life. I like that through Ava, Queen Elloise, Rose, and Prince Henry, she comes to realize that she is good enough and that there is nothing more admirable about her than her authenticity and love for spreading happiness to those she meets 💗
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Prince Henry also had very admiring qualities in an MMC. Firstly, he's a devoted father to Rose and wants nothing more than for her to experience the fun and real childhood that she deserves that he never got to have. He sees that he's missed many moments with her and decides to be a better father to her by being a more steady presence in her life especially after her mother's death. He's very dedicated to the important role he plays as heir to the throne in Bella-Moritz but also yearns for a loving partner by his and Rose's side. I like that he learns to become more appreciative of people with big imaginations and a passion for helping others the way that Lacey does, and how he never stops fighting to advocate for his daughter and what benefits her as both a princess and as a regular child 💬
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Lacey and Henry's love story was very heartwarming throughout the book. They start off misjudging the other's character based on what they look on the outside but as they get to know one another on a more intimate level, they grow closer. The chemistry between them is very natural and cheesy but in the good Hallmark-way that's seen in their movies and in their books like this one. I think it was clear how they respect each other and want to bring the other into their world without overstepping any boundaries or making them uncomfortable. I think my only criticism is that the book resolved the conflicts very quickly and I wish we got to see more of the ending unfold slowly to really savour how Henry and Lacey overcome their problems and decide to do it together. Overall, I enjoyed this book and would re-read it in the future! 💘
What to expect: - Theme park princess FMC x crown prince MMC 👑🏰 - Imaginative, hopeful FMC x sensible, practical MMC - Single father - Royal romance - Hidden identity - Clean/closed-door romance 🚪
Lacey is working her dream job at a Florida Fairy Tale Theme Park. She's Princess Sweet Pea all day long - bringing smiles and happiness into children's lives. Her almost fiancé did not like her silly job - that's why he never became her fiancé.
Prince Henry has been widowed for a few years now and his almost seven year old daughter Rose is still grieving her mother. But Henry's mother - the Queen - is insisting that Rose start her royal duties once she turns seven! That's why Henry is taking his little girl on an undercover vacation to the place of her dreams. Lacey's Princess Park!
Insta attraction between the real royal and the fake princess. But this would never work in real life, right? 😁

Well. That was super adorable. Such a sweet and funny and slightly heartbreaking romance! I just adored Lacey and Henry and Rose. And the BFFs Ava and Ian too. The first half of the book we're at the fairy tale park, and then we all go to Bella-Moritz to mayybe find that fairy tale happily ever after? We'll see. 😍 I really enjoyed reading this. Cute, adorable. Just really sweet and beautiful.
It's Hallmark, not HBO - so don't go in expecting a sexy romance. 🤣 If I may s p o i l a tiny bit ... the first kiss basically happens in the very last sentence of the book. But still - even though I like my romances very sexy - I really enjoyed reading this one!
This a lovely story to get immersed in and enjoy watching a modern day romance unfold between a theme park princess and a real life prince. Prince Henry is on vacation in Florida with Rose, his young daughter, where they meet Lacey as "Princess Sweet Pea." Lacey's boss' boss' boss asks Princess Sweet Pea to show the VIPs around the park along with Ian, Henry's personal guard, for their time at the park. It is fun to watch the chemistry between Lacey and Rose and then Henry and Lacey bloom into a special friendship. Because Lacey lost her mom at an early age, she has devoted her life to making others happy for a little while and she can relate to the motherless child. So for a few days they spend quality time in the special make believe world of an amusement park. When Henry invites Lacey to visit his kingdom of Bella-Moritz on the French Riviera for a special festival, she cannot believe it. Her roommate and best friend even gets invited. But they are just friends, right? This is a sweet and delightful way to escape into a world of fairy tales where the heart makes decisions, not the head. Expect to smile a lot, especially at the charming ending. I received a complimentary ARC from Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine only.
This is an entertaining, well-written, sweet, contemporary romance novel. It is simply magical, with a lovely, likable, female protagonist, an engaging male protagonist with an adorable daughter, and a happily ever after ending. I listened to the audio version of this novel, and the narrator, Miss Brittany Pressley, does an excellent job depicting the characters and their personalities. I truly enjoyed this novel, the first that I have read by Ms. Wilson. I am looking forward to reading her other novels with great anticipation.
A sweet, fun contemporary romance that never loses its sparkle! I enjoyed every page of Once Upon A Royal Summer. It’s a great beach or summer read. Heroine Lacey Pope is Princess Sweet Pea at the Once Upon a Time amusement park in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Lacey is swept up in her own fairytale when a visiting VIP, Royal Crown Prince Henry and his darling daughter, Princess Rose, visit the theme park on a special vacation for Rose’s 6th birthday. Sweet scene after sweet scene kept me turning pages swiftly and the almost instant attraction that zinged between Henry and Lacey was so romantic. When Lacey visits Rose and Henry at the Royal Palace on the French Riviera, all their dreams come true. A delightful story!
I honestly reviewed a digital arc provided by NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing. All opinions are my own. Thank you.
A cute story with a sweet romance, Once Upon a Royal Summer follows a theme park princess as she falls in love with a real prince. Lacey is everything you would expect of a fairy tale princess. She is kind and caring, thoughtful and charming. She has such a tender heart and is so wonderful with children. And her name is Princess Sweet Pea – super cute! Her job is important to her, and it brings her a lot of joy. I love that Henry sees past the superficial and recognizes Lacey’s generous and compassionate spirit. Lacey’s sincerity and helpfulness shine through, and her kindness is exemplified throughout the story.
Henry is a loving father who wants what is best for his daughter. He is charming and honorable, and his love for his daughter is very sweet. He is also dedicated to his country and his people, and is determined to be a good ruler. With his intellect, kindness, good looks, and charm, he is everything Lacey wants in a partner. Plus, he’s a prince! And I love Henry’s daughter Rose! She’s so adorable and eager, and her optimism and enthusiasm in visiting a theme park for the first time is infectious. Just ask Henry’s bodyguard who escorts them throughout their stay. I think he enjoys the rides and sites as much as Rose, which is super endearing.
Rose and Lacey develop a lovely bond. They have such fun together while in the theme park, and their vacations truly seemed magical. I love how easily Henry, Lacey, and Rose fit together. Other characters, like Henry’s bodyguard, Lacey’s best friend, and Henry’s mother are also interesting characters and I enjoyed their roles in the story. Lacey’s friend brings some extra levity to the story, while Henry’s mother adds a bit of reality to their lives and situations. They are interesting dynamics that work well when put together.
The fairy tale theme park setting and all of the special moments that come with it adds a whimsical, optimistic, and magical feel to the story as does Henry’s home which is celebrating their annual flower festival. Bella-Moritz sounds like an enchanting country, and I can see why Lacey fell in love with it (and Henry) so quickly. The author does a great job of creating a vivid picture of both places.
Of course, I would be remiss if I didn’t talk about the romance. It’s as lovely as the rest of the story. Lacey and Henry have an almost instant attraction to one another, but they are from such different world both literally and figuratively. However, as they get to know each other, they begin to see that they are quite alike. In short, their romance is a fairy tale.
I enjoyed Once Upon a Royal Summer. It is a sweet and light read with many charming elements, and it brought a smile to my face more than once. This is definitely a book that I could see easily transition to a Hallmark movie. I think readers who like contemporary romance with likeable characters, a sweet love story, and a happily ever after will enjoy this book.
Sometimes you need a cute and fluffly fairy tale and this worked for me. I rooted for the characters, had fun and spent some time escaping reality and having a good time. Heartwarming and entertaining. Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
Thanks Netgalley for a arc copy of this book for a honest review..
I also listen to it on audio
Once A Upon A Royal Summer was a delightful read. It reminded me of a hallmark movie... I l love romance between Lacey and Henry a very cute story that I will read again and again. 5 star read
Once Upon a Royal Summer by Teri Wilson is a charming modern fairy tale. Following a theme park princess and an undercover prince, this one contains humour, heart, and a compelling main character. The theme park setting makes the book special, bringing both conflict and comedy to the story. This is a short and sweet read that is perfect to bring to the beach.
Working as a princess at a theme park, Lacey has seen it all. However, when a single dad and his daughter attend her tea party, she never expects him to be an undercover prince. When his young daughter falls in love with Lacey, she becomes their personal guide, and grows closer with the prince at the same time. What follows is a classic Hallmark story with entertaining twists, heartwarming scenes, and a sweet romance.
❀ A THEME PARK PRINCESS
Lacey is such a kind character, and I loved following her as she works her dream job. She is committed to joy, and she has such wholesome interactions with the kids at the park. I also liked how she stands up for herself, refusing to let people call her career choice immature. What I especially enjoyed is the way the author delves into Lacey’s backstory, explaining why working as a theme park princess is so important to her.
❀ SETTING IS A FUN COMPLEMENT TO THE STORY
One of my favourite aspects of the book is its setting. Amusement parks bring so much fun to a story, and Once Upon a Time makes the story immersive. In this case, the setting complements the prince’s storyline well, providing an escape from royal duties and creating an interesting tension between two types of royalty.
❀ AN UPLIFTING MODERN FAIRY TALE
Once Upon a Royal Summer by Teri Wilson is an uplifting modern fairy tale. I enjoyed the concept of a theme park princess and a real prince, and the main character stays true to herself. The theme park setting further enhances the story, creating tension and immersing the reader. This is a sweet summer read perfect for those looking for a heartwarming romance.
This is a delightful book that made me smile throughout it. It's charming and sweet in all the best ways. Lacey is a theme park princess who meets Rose, a real princess, and her father, Henry, a very charming real prince.
Truly, I don't think this book could have been more contrived or unrealistic, but that just made me love it more. It's over the top, but the perfect escape from real life. This grandmother thoroughly enjoyed every page in this book, but you could feel safe letting your teen read it.
This novel is a delicious and sweet treat - like the best Hallmark movie in book form. If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. Put this at the top of your TBR list. While this is the first book I've read by this author, it won't be the last.
This is a feel good story, that will captivate you. We feel the joy of a little girl as she experiences the freedom to enjoy an amusement park, I could just picture sweet Princess Rose, yes, she is a real princess, and enjoying being in Florida and seeing Princess Sweet Pea, as she celebrates her birthday. We meet and get to know Lacey Pope, a.k.a Princess Sweet Pea, and follow her and her job as she plays her Princess part, and gives the kids the rules to follow! Then we meet Princess Rose’s father Prince Henry, and he is dreamy, and our Sweet Pea has noticed, but can a theme park princess be with a real prince? This is a sweet fairy tale that meets reality, and you get to enjoy! I would love to know what happened to Ian and Ava? I received this book through Net Galley and the Hallmark Publishing/Dreamscape Media, and was not required to give a positive review.
Prince falls in love with a theme park princess....I wanted to read this delightful book as soon as I saw the blurb. It was everything I expected, a sweet fairytale-like story with likable characters. It is a perfect book for lovers of Hallmark movies that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy.
Thank you NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Lacey has a dream job, one every woman would love having. She is Princess Sweet Pea at Once Upon A Time Amusement Park. She gets to dress up as a Princess every day and hang out with children. She rides the rides and walks around helping where needed.
Her fiance Mark and his stuffy Mom think that she needs to grow up and get a career. She decides she likes what she does so maybe she does need to make some changes. And she does.
Check out this book it was a fun read and remember every girl grows up wanting to be a Princess. We should follow our dreams
I received this book from Netgalley/publisher in exchange of an honest review.
I just had to get this book! Romance x Theme Park x Royalty = Give me more! I love that it takes place in summer, that is also why it took me so long before I read it. I wanted to read it in summer. Not in spring when I got the book on Netgalley.
In this book we get two POVs. Lacey, who just broke up with her boyfriend and is not in the mood for dating, also is our theme park princess. Henry, our royally yummy prince who isn’t looking to date. As you can see, these two aren’t planning on dating… but then they meet each other and I was just swooning all the way. These two are flirting, talking whenever they have a moment, but also pondering… should they go for it or not (which was at times a bit frustrating because HELLO, just do it), and would it work out? I really loved that we got both POVs, because I am not sure if I would have liked Henry 100% if I just had seen Lacey’s POV. Now we get both of these people and we learn a lot about them. From Lacey and her reasons to become a princess and how her persona is totally different from her princess persona to Henry who lost his wife years ago and is struggling + battling against his mother concerning who is best for his daughter (I was on his side all the way). These two are totally sweet people and I am happy to meet them.
We also have a fantastic cast of side-characters. Well, OK, it took me a LONG time to get used to Henry’s mom, the queen, but after a while I could see a different side to her. But Ava? Loved her from the start and love how supportive she is. I also love all the gossip she brings. Haha. Then there is Rose, the daughter of Henry who was an absolutely sweetpea and I just loved seeing her finally be a bit more kid, smile, have a good time. Plus, I loved how she connected with Lacey! Then there is Ian, the bodyguard I guess. I just loved how he and Henry talked, they are really friends. He was very sweet towards Rose which made me smile!
I loved all that Lacey did in this book. For Henry, for Rose. She really did some remarkable things full of kindness.
Oh yes, is it Madison or Madeline? When we got to this Fairy Godmother the names switched around which confused me greatly. XD
I love that the first 50% of the book takes place at the theme park and the next percentage is our girls preparing (and our prince of course) and then the rest of the book takes place in the palace/in Bella-Moritz. It was the perfect balance.
Yes, things were rushed. But did I mind it? Normally maybe.. but now? No. I actually loved it. It fitted perfect with this being promoted as a Hallmark book. That ending was necessary for the fairy tale feel that this whole book goes for. And it made me swoon! It is funny how that works. Generally I am not a fan of rushed, but with this, go for it.
I am really happy I had the chance to read this beautiful, fun, cute, romantic, funny, swoon-tastic, sweet, adorable, and do you need more adjectives?-book. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun and sweet summer read featuring two great people and a great cast of side-characters. Oh, and can we PLEASE PLEASE just get a book featuring Ian and Ava? I need that. I will also be looking to see what Hallmark Publishing has published more.
This was a fun and sweet book. Lacey is a theme park princess, Princess Sweet Pea, who loves her work, especially the smiles on the faces of the children she meets. When Lacey was a little girl, her mother became very ill, and Lacey spent a lot of time at the hospital with her. The theme park princesses used to visit the children, and Lacey grew up wanting to be one of those princesses. The only downside is that Lacey's boyfriend and his mother aren't impressed with her choice. That comes to an end when Lacey calls it quits on their relationship after one too many put-downs.
Henry is the crown prince of a tiny Mediterranean country. His wife died four years earlier, leaving him the single father of a little girl. Henry struggles to give Rose as normal a childhood as possible, frequently over the objections of his mother, the Queen. Finally, with a critical royal event coming up and Rose fighting her part in it, Henry decides the two of them need to get away for a few days. Rose's seventh birthday is in a few days, so Henry takes her to an American amusement park. The first day they arrive, they go to the park incognito, pretending to be an ordinary dad and daughter.
I loved Henry and his determination to give Rose as ordinary a life as possible. He remembers his childhood loneliness and wants something better for her. I enjoyed the scenes where he stood up to his mother and insisted on public school and again when he informed her of their trip.
I loved the first meeting between Lacey, Henry, and Rose. Henry took Rose to Princess Sweet Pea's tea party, and when Lacey made the rounds of the tables, she and Rose immediately bonded. Henry was a touch cynical and mocking and soon found himself called upon to dance with the princess. Lacey thought she'd show him up, and instead, he blew her away with his dancing skills, not to mention the electricity that zapped between them. Lacey thought she wouldn't see them again - until the following day when she discovered that Princess Sweet Pea would spend the next few days escorting them around the park!
The days at the park enhance the connection between Lacey and Rose, who bond over all things princessy. Rose is adorable in her enthusiasm and hero-worship of Lacey. There's a heartwarming scene where she sees Lacey interacting with a girl in a wheelchair and can't help reaching out herself. Meanwhile, Lacey and Henry discover how easy it is to open up to each other, and the sparks between them continue to grow. I loved how Henry shared his worry over Rose's new fear of riding her pony and the brilliant way that Lacey found to help. Henry didn't want to say goodbye to Lacey and impulsively invited her and her friend Ava to come to his country for the Flower Festival and Ball. His argument? "The royal ball?" she sputtered. "A real royal ball." Henry gave her a half-shrug. "We've danced in your castle. It seems only fair that we should dance in mine."
Lacey is equally excited and terrified to go to Bella-Moritz. She knows in her heart that there's no way a commoner and a prince can be anything more than friends, but that doesn't stop a tiny spark of hope. Henry and Rose are visibly happy to have Lacey there, though the Queen appears less so. Henry takes great delight in showing Lacey around, and it's easy to see where his heart lies. Lacey experiences a few awkward moments, especially around the Queen, but her enthusiasm remains high. Her innate kindness and ability to think of others lead her to a couple of terrific "Lacey to the rescue" moments. I ached for Lacey when a pre-ball disaster struck, leaving her heartbroken. Help came from an unexpected source, setting Lacey up for an incredible Cinderella-like moment. Henry's big moment was fantastic.
I enjoyed the secondary characters almost as much as the main characters. Rose was adorable. She wasn't too good, given her resistance to the pony thing, but her heart is just as big as her dad's. I loved how she connected with Lacey and the fun they had together. I also liked Henry's bodyguard, Ian. He is just as much friend as bodyguard, and he immediately notices the effect Lacey has on Henry. Lacey's best friend, Ava, was fun. I liked how well she knew Lacey and her support after Lacey's breakup. She was almost as excited as Lacey about their trip, and even more so once she laid eyes on Ian. Finally, the Queen was the biggest surprise. Her early appearances in the book made her seem stiff, cold, and autocratic, especially when it came to Rose's schooling. I worried a little at her first reaction to Lacey. But as the visit went on, I saw a different side to her. In the end, I thought that her heart was almost as big as Henry's.
Once Upon a Royal Summer is an insanely cute fairytale romance that will make your heart sing. Teri Wilson charmed my socks off with this tale of a theme park princess who falls for a real life prince.
Lacey has her dream job in playing Princess Sweet Pea at Once Upon a Time, a popular Florida theme park. Her reasons for it broke my heart but also showed Lacey’s nature: she’s kind, compassionate, and so sweet. Many people don’t understand why she loves what she does, but that doesn’t dim her sunny, funny nature. Henry, crown prince of Bella-Moritz is a widower with a daughter who he wants to give a chance to be a regular child. Their trip to Once Upon a Time is a break from reality for both of them. Rose is immediately captivated by Princess Sweet Pea…and so is Henry. With Lacey playing tour guide for the royals, it’s easy for both father and daughter to become attached. Rose is just precious and Henry is a real Prince Charming who loves his daughter and his people. The fact that Wilson can make a story so sweet without it becoming saccharine is a testament to her skill as a writer.
Once Upon a Royal Summer made me smile over and over again. It’s a kind, gentle book with a positive message that just warms your heart. A theme park princess shouldn’t be a match for real royalty and yet every step of the way Lacey is on equal footing with Henry. The two of them make a lovely pair and their modern-day fairytale romance made me smile and sigh. I adored Once Upon a Royal Summer from beginning to end; it’s definitely a story I’ll revisit whenever I need sunshine and sweetness in my life.
FTC Disclosure: I received this book for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Once Upon a Royal Summer by Teri Wilson is a wonderful, light, sweet, romantic, and sunny romance that I loved from beginning to end.
I am a huge fan of Hallmark romances (books and movies) and Teri Wilson, so of course I had to read this newest book. I loved it!
Ms. Wilson has a true talent in weaving a narrative that is romantic, realistic, and truly engaging. I loved Lacey and Henry. The commoner and royalty meeting upon neutral grounds, overcoming the logistics and respective responsibilities and expectations, and finding true love is one of my favorite plots, and Ms. Wilson pulled it off flawlessly. Both were likable, realistic, and imperfect. Both bring out the best in one another and make each other happy. A narrative that is breezy and fun, but honest and down to earth, and an ending that is perfect.
I couldn’t ask for a better romance.
5/5 stars
Thank you NG and Hallmark Publishing for this wonderful arc and in return I am submitting my unbiased and voluntary review and opinion.

Once in a while right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale...
This story brought out the little girl in me believing fairy tales can come true. Lacey works as "Princess Sweet Pea" at a theme park in Florida. But to Lacey, it is more than just a job. Since she was young, she had always hoped one day she could be a Princess like in the storybooks. Her connection with the children she performs for is genuine and sincere.
Henry, Crown Prince of Bella-Moritz wants his daughter Rose to experience life beyond the castle walls. He takes her to a theme park for her birthday. Lacey is tasked with being the Prince and his daughter's guide. Henry sees beyond the plastic crown and layers of tulle that Lacey wears. He sees a caring original treasure, one he is falling hard for.
Their story is enchanting and magical, and so romantic. I was caught up in all the "Prince on a White Stead" fairy tale dream. And I loved every minute of it.
