Erik Ashendale has faced terrible odds before. He has a long history of fighting enemies above his weight class from evil wizards to vampires, fallen angels, evil gods, and demons.
But this time it's different. His enemy is a being more powerful and dangerous on an order of magnitude beyond what the world has ever seen before. And he's brought an army with him.
Lucifer, the Sin of Pride, has declared war on Earth, starting with Erik’s beloved hometown, and obliterating any who stand in the way.
Erik’s mission is simple but impossible: Save the world by killing the Devil himself. The attempt will change Erik’s life, and the mortal world, forever.
Fallen - Legacy Book 10 (Legacy Series), my fourteenth read from author Ryan Attard. With every book he writes, Ryan Attard polishes his craft & gets better & better and the reader's expectations grow as well! This book does not disappoint!. Another great Ryan Attard read. This book has everything, maybe the best Legacy book to date! Nonstop action, gods, warlocks, talking cats, magic, sarcasm, humor & and further escalation from the earlier books in the series. I very much enjoyed this book & am ready for more. It was a cannot put down story adding to the storylines from his first books. “I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I'll definitely be reading more from this author and look forward to the next book in the series. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
Ryan Attard has done it again and written a fantastic story. Fast paced with old favorites popping up . The writing just gets better. The characters continue to grow and change. The world building is always getting just a little more tweaked. This whole series has been wonderful fun. Lots of questions answered with a few more popping up. Always looking forward to the next one. I received this as a free ARC. I am so pleased to be able to reccomend this whole series!
This author has created a most amazing adventure that keeps you reading on.lots of action and strong characters coming together with purpose to save the world.I've read all books in this series and look forward to the next chapter in this ongoing story.Hats off to this author and his amazing writing.Suggest you check this author out!!!!
3 stars; while the series started out great the editing and proofreading seems to be going downhill; the timeline of events discussed in earlier books no longer aligns with the timelines of previous events mentioned in this book and there are other technical issues that interfere with the overall experience and enjoyment of the series.
Another over the top adventure, Best one yet. Erik Ashendale and his sister must battle an overabundance of evil, Again the Ashedale's are pressed hard by their enemies including a part the government. Plenty of action and of course snark.
I knew this one would be as good as the others in this series, I was wrong... it's even better. I felt hope as Erik fought, I felt sadness, hope, and a whole host of emotions as I binge read this from my girlfriend's sofa. I can't wait for the next one!
I absolutely fell in love with your characters. Cant put it down once I start. Then I'm sad when it ends and anticipate the next one like I'm waiting for Christmas!
If you're looking for a book jam-packed with action, a diverse cast of characters unlike any other, and an emotional rollercoaster to rip you limb from bleeding limb, you've come to the right place. READ. THIS. BOOK. NOW.
How can you not like a series all about Good vs. Evil? The characters have evolved nicely and I love the smartass who is the main character. He makes me laugh out loud which most books do not. I recommend and am looking forward to he next in the series.
This is the first book that I only gave three stars. It was still a good book and the pacing was fast. However, events transpired that irrevocably changed everything forever. In the system that I use a book with three stars only gets read again if I am rereading the whole series. That is what this book is. The pain that it elicits overall is more than the joy of the few bright spots.
