As a huge fan of novellas, this book and its small town girl meets big city billionaire goodness, had me start and finish it in just over an hour. Sweet and wholesome, kindergarten teacher and native islander Ella, meets, sexy billionaire Marcus, on the ferry. From the moment they met to their happily ever after, the chemistry between them burns bright, making this the enjoyable romance read that it is. If you’re looking for a quick and easy, and very sexy read, TBR Falling Fast and Enjoy!

It has been a while since I've sat down with an insta-love novella, and this one checked all the boxes. Steamy smexy times? Check. Swoony hero that makes me wonder if men like him exist? Check. Chemistry off the charts? Check check. This is the first book of a three-novella set by Julia Jarrett and you bet your booty I'm going to be diving into the second two!

You will fall in love with the characters and the way their romance was develop. It was interesting and romantic. If you are looking for a quick read and romance this book is for you and look forward to the next book review.

This was insta-love and let me tell you, I'm in insta-love too!
Ugh, this book was so bloody cute. Fast paced, swoony and romantic. I'm not sure how Julia has done it, but the way she has written this book, the characters and their story, it was perfect.
Insta-love stories can be cringe and far-fetched however this one is a FAR CRY from that.
Marcus and Ella meet and it's sparks, heat and emotion from the get go. Marcus is well... SWOON and Ella is just adorable. Quirky and awkward.
I had been in a reading slump and I needed something cute, quick and feel good and this hit the nail on the head.
Falling Fast releases on the 9th March and you seriously need to add it to your TBR ASAP.

If you’re looking for a super sweet, sexy, insta love story then look no further than @juliajarrettauthor’s Falling Fast. It’s the first of three novellas in the Westmount Island Series.
I feel like I can’t say much because this is novella length, but I loved Ella and Marcus so much! Ella, a super sweet kindergarten teacher, finds herself on the ferry back home to Westmount Island when in desperate need of a hair tie. The last thing she expected was to meet sexy billionaire Marcus, who also happened to help her out with that hair situation. They hit it off right off the bat, and as fate would have it, Marcus ends up staying at her family’s inn, where they’re able to keep their budding romance going. They quickly realize though that insta love can come with its own set of problems and have to decide if it’s worth making the sacrifices to make it work.
Y’all do yourself a favor and read this book! I’m not normally a fan of super quick insta love stories, but Julia did it so, so well!!

Falling Fast is the first story in the Westmount Island Trilogy.
When Elle is going home after a visit to the mainland, on the ferry she meets the mysterious Marcus and its love at first sight. Sometimes it is hard to get into these insta-love stories but the connection between Elle and Marcus is palpable from the start. I really believed what was happening and rooted for them.
While it is a short read the author built a beautiful small-town and introduced other characters without overwhelming the reader with information.
With her beautiful words, Julia Jarrett makes you feel as if the story is happening right in front of you. It's low on drama, a lighter read but definitely a must-read.
You can easily read, Falling Fast in one sitting, it is the perfect relaxation after a long, tiring day.
I can't wait to read the next story in the trilogy.

This is book 1 in the Westmount Island TrilogyElle is a sweet, quiet small town kindergarten teacher who is coming home on the ferry from the mainland when she meets Marcus. Marcus is coming to the island checking on some property that he wants to develop and meets Elle. Instant attraction! She is calming and it makes him reevaluate his life. They are very different and he lives on the mainland, can they make it work?

Sparks ignited quickly between Marcus and Ella, and I loved every minute of it! Not everyone can say they found love at first sight on a ferry boat ride! Quirky and beautiful Ella is the perfect gal for wickedly handsome businessman Marcus, who’s funny and sweet side shines through starting at their meet-cute.
Low on angst and both sweet and super hot, this pair of seemingly opposite people drew me in from page one and kept me interested and believing. As much as I love romance, insta-love stories are not something I’m usually drawn to. But the lack of cheese and the profusion of fun and warmth had me rethinking that stance.
I can’t wait to read the next two books. I will say one thing to maybe clear up any possible confusion. This is a series with a different couple featured in each book. When I started it, I wrongly assumed it was the same couple throughout the three books because it was billed as a trilogy. My mind automatically thinks a trilogy will follow the same leads and end in cliffhangers. It is NOT, for those who might assume like I did! Hope that helps!

Instant connection between Ella and Marcus. They meet on a ferry boat on the way to Westmount Island in the Pacific Northwest. All it takes is the need for an elastic and Marcus is hooked. It’s a small island, and everyone knows everyone, and they see the stranger with his arm around one of their own. Totally sweet when she swears, or attempts to, she says vegetable names instead of the real words as she is a kindergarten teacher. Marcus is a real estate developer and he just might want to change the outline of Westmount Island. Sweet Read.

This book is appropriately named - Marcus and Ella fall for each other really fast. Their attraction is instantaneous…he is gorgeous, dirty talking, and caring all rolled up in this sexy package. Ella is sassy, and delightfully awkward. This book is insta-love at its best – in turns sweet, funny, and steamy. It’s the first of three novellas set in Westmount Island and I can’t wait to read the next books in the series. “Oh Fudge” this book was absolutely adorable. I sat and read this book in one sitting. I’m not a full believer in love at first sight but after this I just maybe. I want to get on a ferry boat and hope someone offers me a hair tie. This book had a little bit of everything you could need, shy girl, handsome boy, steamy and sweet. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the Westmount Crew !!

For a novella, I found myself really attached to these characters. Jarrett has a way with words, causing me to want more from each story she writes. Marcus and Ella have instant chemistry and their relationship is one you love from first read as a reader.

Marcus is on the island to look at a possible land development deal but after meeting Ella he starts to rethink his fast paced life on the main land. They two share an incredibly steamy 36 hours together and then you're not sure if it's going to work as their lives are so different. Marcus is a keeper and keeps his promise and brings not only himself back to stay but lots of great ideas to make Ella's island home prosperous. Great sweet steamy and quick read.

This is such a great little novella. I loved it from the opening page to the end. It was an easy read, with a hot millionaire and a kindergarten teacher. There chemistry was undeniable and the book had a good amount of steam for a short story. It was lighthearted with a good plot and great characters.
I just wish when I went on the West Coast ferries I had a similar experience, but hey, I didn’t 🤷🏼♀️. A really enjoyable read.

What a great start to this trilogy of novellas! I'm not usually a fan of insta-love, but the way Julia Jarret wrote Ella and Marcus' story changed my mind. I really enjoyed getting to know a little bit of her sisters in this first book so that the other two books were set up well.
I loved the concept of "when you know you know" and love at first sight on a ferry. Jarret wrote a really cute small town that had charm and was just as much a part of the story as the people.
Definitely recommend!

A fun and steamy instalove novella you don't want to miss! I absolutely loved Ella and her quirks. I found myself smiling constantly with her, and Marcus? Wow. Talk about a smooth millionaire! This is the perfect read to make you smile, swoon, and fan yourself. I read this in one sitting and highly recommend.

This is the 1st part in a new trilogy and is Marcus and Ella’s story. Marcus is a real estate developer, and Ella is a kindergarten teacher, and these two meets on a ferry boat, and there is an instant connection between them, and the chemistry is off the charts and undeniable. This is a well written quick and light-hearted read, which is sweet, humorous, entertaining and a steamy little gen of a story. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

Marcus is coming over to see if he and his business partner can build a luxury community on the island. They feel a instant attraction and over the course of a few days fall in love. But when she understands his real reason for being there, she needs to trust him to return to the mainland and make a deal that will protect her beloved island, and allow him to return to her.
This is part of a series of 3 novellas about 3 sisters who grew up on the island. They are short, easy and enjoyable reads and I recommend them all.

Do I love insta love? Only when Julia writes it. I’m serious, even in a novella she still manages to deliver it.
Ella is sweet & shy and what’s that? She’s NOT a virgin. Yes, they do exist! She’s also quite the temptress when she’s ready to go!
