"Then I get a good look at the blonde standing next to the brunette inside the food truck, and my whole body starts yelling THIS ONE at me."
This was a sweet little read for me. Honestly, there wasn't anything that special about it but it was well done and cute. It gave me that quick shot of serotonin that I was looking for right before bed.

Not really surprising
In general, I like Carly Keene's stories, but this instalove is just a little too cute, too predictable, and without any surprise, even if it has a few hot scenes. It's a very short romance, admittedly cute, but one in which it doesn't happen many things.

This is book two of the Men of Big Horn Ridge series and tells the story of Zane Marshall, who moved back to the mountains where he was brought up and bought some land and built a home. He tried the corporate lifestyle and the life of partying and one night stands, but it definitely wasn’t for him. He built his cabin on Big Horn Ridge, Montana, and works with his old friend Merrick to build and market custom built furniture, from the cedar Merrick fells. Merrick and his brother Clint built their own cabins, which were reverse images of each other’s. Their cousin Caleb also lives on the ridge and is the first one of them to settle down. He met a woman called Cierra, after she got lost on his property the previous year. They are getting married that weekend up on the mountain, so all the men Zane and Merrick go into town for supplies and to drop off their latest custom order for shipping, with Merrick having a separate and urgent reason to visit. It seems he has a woman there that he likes, not that he has made any mention of as yet. They visit the cupcake truck, which Merrick states has the best cupcakes in town, and it is obvious that its owner Silvia is his reason for pulling them both there.
All this talk of women has made Zane realise he is finally ready to meet the woman who will be his wife. He feels that as soon as he sees her, he will know! When he goes to try some samples, he spots a blonde woman, obviously a lot younger than him, wearing a cheesy t-shirt saying ‘Cake it easy!’ His whole body responds to her and he can only think, This One! It seems Zane has been struck with cupid’s arrow and it is love at first sight. Her name is Sammi (Samantha) and she is still earning her degree and got the job at the cupcake truck to help with the marketing, which is what she is studying to do and wants to do for a job in the future. She has two older sisters, one a rebel and one who is successful. She hopes to see Zane again and they actually meet at Caleb and Cierra’s wedding that weekend and the cupcake truck is actually shut for the weekend. Silvia, Gabi, Sammi and her sister Sage have come to support Silvia at her wedding, so she doesn’t feel too lonely, not being from around here. Sammi is having the same reaction as Zane did when he saw her and knows he is the one for her, he makes her feel safe and protected. They chat and dance for a while, then leave for some time alone together. A mountain man and a curvy woman who have found true love and don’t want to wait around for any further proof. They both knew it immediately and are looking towards a HEA ending! Lovely short story of two home bodies who click and were ready for love. This book is about Zane and Samantha (Sammi). He is the quintessential mountain man, and he and his best friend Merrick run Big Horn Ridge Custom Furniture in Montana. They live in cabins up on the Ridge with the most spectacular views. They’re delivering a custom-made order in town, and check out the new cupcake food truck ‘Cupcake on Wheels’.
Zane meets Samantha at the food truck where she works, alongside her boss Silvia – who Merrick is smitten about. Zane and Sammi discuss cupcakes, and she remembers and recognises him from when he played football in high school – but she was in elementary school at the time. That got a bit of a laugh! So while they have a bit of an age gap, there’s also a strong, mutual attraction and undeniable connection between them.
They see each other next at Caleb and Cierra’s wedding, and sit together. After some sweet glances and slow dances, they leave the reception together, heading up to his cabin. Their time together is incredibly sweet, steamy and passionate – especially for a first time… lucky girl! They fit perfectly together – it’s just that easy! I give this book four and a half cherished stars.

Zane was enjoying his life in Big Horn Ridge. He and his buddy, Merrick make wood furniture which they design and sell. Merrick has eyes for the owner of a Cupcake food truck. Zane is along for the ride and then he sees her, Sammi is a cupcake assistant at the same food truck. He sees Sammi and soon starts visiting her on a regular basis. Zane is starting to think she could be the one even though he has never thought about settling down with anyone. What will happen as they began to see each other? Sammi has dreams, will they interfere in this romance? Will Zane be able to help her with her dreams? Will they find love? There is instant attraction, but also lust, passion, romance and love. Great little read that has all the parts that are needed for a super good romance story!

This book 2 of the “Men Of Big Horn Ridge” series. Zane left the corporate world to return to his home of the mountains of Montana and purchased land and built log cabin homes with several of his friends and Merrick and Clint who are brothers along with their cousin Caleb. They make furniture and are co-owns in the business. Zane has grown tried of the single life and ready to settle down as his friend and business partner is about to tie the knot. Zane and Merrick are in town making a delivery where he meets Sammi on a cupcake truck and the attraction is instant. They go their separate ways and met up at a wedding where they continued to bond.
Sammi and Zane are dancing at the wedding and Zane is ready to head out. Sammi can’t go to her apartment because she shares it with her sister. She tells let go to your place. Zane is all to happy and off they are to his cabin. Love how Sammi is on the aggressive side and Zane is letting her have her way.

And when they run into one another at their mutual friends' wedding, the sparks fly so much they just might burn your Kindle down. First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Loved by the mountain man is the second book in the ‘’men of big horn ridge’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Zane is done with his player days and wants to find his ‘’one’’. When he meets Sammi, he knows she is the one but will they take a chance at love?
The chemistry between Zane and Sammi is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

I have some of Carly's works with various other authors and I really enjoy them. This one is book two in the Men of Big Horn Ridge. I am a bit sad I missed book one so I will have to go back and read it. This is an insta love story. He is there with his friend that has a crush on her boss. Now that he has seen this lovely assistant, he starts to come around more and more. He was never one to think about settling down till he saw her. But she has dreams of her own. Is there a way that these two can make all their dreams come true?

Zane is back home living the life he finally has. No more corporate rat race. He and his buddy stop to get a cupcake and Zane see's the one. He finally met the woman who is everything he ever wanted. Samantha (Sammi) is younger than him and has one more year of school before she gets her degree. After meeting Zane and at their friends wedding they drive over to Zane's cabin. A great love story
Zane met Sammi when he and Merrick stopped at a cupcake food truck. Merrick was visiting his girlfriend so Zane chatted with Sammi. It was love at first sight. Sammi remembered him from a class visit at school. They attended the wedding of their friends and everything went on from there. It was a good reading story. Written by Cindy :)

Samantha and Zane both knew once they see "the one" they will know instantly, and it has happened for both of them.
