Caleb never believed his past would disappear in a single heartbeat. But when the world goes dark, he wakes in a hospital bed and everything he built is gone—his memories, his purpose, and the family that was finally within reach.
Except her.
Faith is the only thing that feels real. He doesn’t know her, not really, but something inside him refuses to let go. She’s not just familiar—she’s everything. And even without the memories, his heart won’t stop pulling him toward her.
They’ve loved each other through war, heartbreak, and years of getting it wrong. But now Caleb has a chance to do it over—with nothing but instinct and the strength of a bond he can’t explain.
Can love survive when memory fades? Or is this the start of something entirely new?
C. R. Riley doesn’t believe in rules when it comes to romance. Her books are bold, emotional, and unapologetically steamy, spanning tropes like enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, secret pasts, and forbidden attraction. What ties them all together? Deep emotional connection, crackling sexual tension, and characters who love like it’s the only thing keeping them alive.
Writing across sub-genres, C. R. thrives in the chaos of big emotions, tough choices, and the kind of love that doesn’t come easy—but always feels earned. Her goal is simple: give readers stories they feel in their chest and remember long after the final page.
I was honored to receive a arc from C.R. Riley. It book 3 plus first time reading her book as well. I was really blow away with the story Faith and Caleb. You have everything in it on this story. So the way I see is book one thru book three is from each Kohl family member.
In the beginning it starts with something really bad happen to Caleb. To it turn out bring back to the past when he wanted to date Faith.
Faith wasn’t happy to start with Caleb asking her out. Until she decides to go foreword. Their relationship keep going up and down . Their time I wanted to ring Caleb neck. I must be a girl thing 😂
They both for us on their careers. Until they decide if they should continue or be apart😉 what I’m not tell you you all have to read and find out.
Then it goes back we’re you read in the begging what really happen. Let just say lots of tissues and glad of wine for this book . I was so emotional and wire up with Faith and Caleb and their story.
C.R. Riley thank you for given me this arc book . It was a very honor to read this story. And now I have to read book one and two. Thank you so much ☺️
P.s Their a bonus haha you think I’m telling you all nope 🤣 you must read to find out. And why it unforgettable 😉😉 lost of hot romance on this books enjoy 😉
Unforgettable is an outstanding and emotional book that will have you hooked right from the start. C.R. Riley delivers one of the most emotional books that I have read in a while. Make sure you have your tissues ready.
Caleb and Faith met in high school and their relationship had been anything but easy. They loved hard, hurt hard and tried to pick up the pieces.
Faith met Caleb in high school and did not like him as they were very different. She was the quiet nerd girl where Caleb was the guy all the girls liked and he did have a reputation. When she finally gives in to a date and agreed to give him one month to prove himself is when all things changed. She fell in love with Caleb in high school and she fell hard. He was her everything but like all good romances, he broke her heart. It took her years to get over him and he walks back into her life to start a relationship all over again. Can she let him in? If she does will he shatter her heart again? She has made a life for herself that proved she didn't need a man in her life, but this is Caleb, her first and true love. When they meet again years later can she let him in again for the third time? She when she has a life-altering situation will she let Caleb back in? Will they survive this time? When tragedy strikes Caleb on the job, does she lose him forever? Can she accept that the Caleb she loved is gone and the man in front of her love her and she love him?
Caleb has a thing for Faith but it takes everything in him to convince her to give him a shot. When tragedy strikes the USA, how does he deal with it? Caleb leaves Faith to go to college but ends up breaking her heart by breaking up with her. Deep down he still loves her but feels this is the best thing to do. His job has him in danger daily but she is still in his mind and heart. Meeting her again he convinces her that they could be together but once again he breaks her heart. His job takes over his life and has no time for relationships until Faith pops back into his life. When he finds out that her fiance is not who he says he is, is this an opening for him to get back into her life? Can things between them go back to the love and happiness or will it all fall apart?
The chemistry between Faith and Caleb is so strong and that is why even though there is a push they always seem to be pulling each other together. Both characters grow as people but also as a couple, even with the heartbreaks.
I cannot say enough about this book. The storyline is outstanding, beautifully written and emotionally gripping. I highly recommend this book as well as the Kohl series.
Unforgettable by C.R. Riley is a second chance romance. Caleb and Faith met in high school and fell in love. Both lead different lives and drift apart, but hope of reconciliation is alive until tragedy tears them apart. They briefly meet here and there, but it takes many years for them to find their way back to each other. They grow so much during their time apart and when things are finally looking up for them fate tests their love in an unfathomable way.
This was a very emotional read, and the writing is top notch. C.R. Riley describes the book in vivid detail and you feel each of the characters’ emotions. This book has amazing characters with unimaginable strength. You will laugh, cry, and feel frustrated with these characters. Unforgettable is a captivating tale about second chances, self-reflection, and acceptance.
I am such a fan of any writer who can make me swoon, get mad at the H or h enough so I kinda wanna smack some sense into them, and then bring it all together in the most wonderful yet sweet way.
This book is fantastic as a standalone, but after reading I DEFINITELY plan on reading the other books is this series!! PLEASE!!!
C.R. Riley does this so incredibly well. And Caleb is now one of my book boyfriends. He should be yours as well, cause I'm in a sharing mood.
Amazing! I love the Kohl family and this book has certainly hit the top spot! Caleb and Faith first met in high school, and although the path to true love wasn't as straight forward as they hoped, over the years they always found their way back to each other. There were so many emotions reading this book, lots of smiles, laughter, love, tears and heartbreak. As always with C.R.Riley, this book is beautifully written, making you feel part of the story and not wanting it to end. I highly recommend this as a definite must read.
My heart is still shattered, being put back together, and recovering from the moments Caleb and Faith put me through. Happily, gladly, and with everything their story deserved plus more making their journey one I'm so freaking happy I went on.
Those moments of pure heat, frustration, desperation, angst, married with an underlying and poignantly beautiful reason that kept them from figuring out how to stop the pushing and pulling.
Two people who kept falling in love, over and over, only to finally find one another, these two made me so mad at times, in the best possible way. And those other moments? Swoon worthy heat, sexy, sweet moments...I cannot wait to read the other standalone books in this series!! C. R. Riley, thank you for their story, in all its angst ridden glory...
This is my favorite book in this series by far. (Of course, I keep saying that with each new book!) I don't know where to begin. I adore Caleb. He is the quintessential book boyfriend in my opinion. He's strong, sweet, and HOT! I love the amnesia trope when it's done well and this author does it perfectly. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but let me just say, this is my favorite C.R. Riley book to date. It has everything you want from a romance and more!
First love. Tragedy. Accidental pregnancy. Passionate lovers. Second chances. Grumpy male alpha type. Sassy but shy girl. We got it all in Unforgettable. C.R. Riley did absolutely amazing with Caleb and Faith's story, she definitely DID NOT disappoint and wrote it better than anything you could have thought/dreamt up.
Faith & Caleb's story was definitely one that I had been waiting for since we were forst introduced to them in the original book of this series. We are reminded in this book that "...reality is a b*tch, and it slaps you so hard sometimes you physically hurt" (pg. 284).
There are two parts to Unforgettable, the first being THE PAST. Following Faith and Caleb through high school and college. Them learning who they are together and who they are apart. Throughout this time we truly learn their story and begin to understand what certain things meant in the first book. Once we get to THE NOW, we learn what can happen when your love is truly put under pressure. The two of the exoerience so much during their relationship and constantly have to fight for what they want. It's taught to us that, "...we live in the here and now and stop trying to uncover answers we may never find" (pg. 201).
Caleb is your typical alpha male. Strong, commitment issues, determined, in love but won't say anything and grumpy. When he finally comes to a decision that will change things, its put on hold when something major happens. Can he be figure out how to live with the situation.
Faith is a sassy, beaitiful and fun woman. She is smart as all get out she wants commitment and that true, disney type of love. The problem is she fell in love with the man who won't admit, commit or talk. Will she get what she wants?
I am absolutely in love with the way this book played out and into the rest of the series. I loved that we got to hear from characters from the previous book but not enough to take about from our two main characters.
I love stories about first loves. I love stories that go from past to present. And I loved C.R. Riley's writing style.
The story follows Caleb and Faith. They meet in high school and fall in love. They both live different lives and drift apart. They briefly meet here and there, but it takes many years for them to find their way back to each other.
I would say close to half the book is written from the past, and the other half, the present. I’m not going to lie- I loved the past chapters. Watching Caleb and Faith fall in love, seeing their younger free spirit selves made my heart happy. All the past scenes were fantastic.
There were things I loved about the present as well. Aside from the miscommunication, it was great to see Caleb and Faith reconnect again. They are both endearing characters. I love how they both never had anything like their first love. Their love for each other. It’s a romantic concept. Falling fast and hard and never truly moving on from the first love, the love of your life.
Throughout the book, I rooted for these two. I desperately wanted them to have a happy ending.
If you’re looking for a fantastic first love story, a second chance romance story, a friends to lovers story, or a beautifully emotional story - Unforgettable is the book for you. C.R. Riley’s writing and character development is wonderful. The end left me with a happy heart and a smile on my face.
As I’ve mentioned before, it can be a pain to review a book because you don’t want to give away spoilers.
Now, let’s get a couple of things out of the way before the details. CR does a great job at writing, and her style will draw you right into the book. It is an easy read and moves you along through all the twists and turns of the story.
Caleb and Faith meet in high school and fall in love. A great start, isn’t it? But, wait, it gets better/worse. Caleb puts all of his energy into college and then FBI training. Faith leads a lackluster life. All the while, they both hold out hope they can be back together.
There is a chance they can get back together and stay together, but those plans are dashed again. Years later, the opportunity again brings the two back together, and they rekindle their relationship. Caleb is a different man and wants to prove it, but Faith still feels in the back of her mind, he will hurt her again.
Happily, ever after is well within their grasp, but outside forces will not let that be. Love is never easy, and both Faith and Caleb must work harder than ever before to keep their love strong. Be warned this is an emotional rollercoaster. It will take your breath away and leave you a mess of emotion. This is a romance, so love will win against all others.
Tears, laughter, suspense, shock, anger, you will get it all. Be ready for it!
I was given an ARC for an honest review of the book.
I'd stock up on Kleenex and have them handy before breaking this one open. C.R. Riley delivers a story of love's rocky road and the warning to not relax once you think you have it right. Fate may have a different plan. Faith and Caleb meet in high school and are probably the most unlikely pair. She's a nerd, though a cute one, and he's the class playboy, well at least his reputation paints him that way. A national tragedy sets him on a path away from Faith and though there are occasional meet ups along the way, it will take years - and quite a few heartbreaks - before they permanently find and accept the love they have for each other. Before the final chapters, Fate steps in one more time and tests the pair as they've never been tested before.
Riley's mastery of storytelling is vividly displayed in this tale of love, tenacity, self-reflection and ultimately acceptance of letting go of the past in order to fully appreciate the present and future. She hooks you with well rounded characters, a wonderful plot, and a wealth of emotion inducing drama. It's one of the best reads I've encountered so far this year and well worth the soggy hankies.
I was honored to receive a arc copy from the amazing author C.R. Riley it's my first time reading her book as well. I was really blow away with the story Faith and Caleb. You have everything in it on this story. Unforgettable is a stunning book and great addition to the Kohl family series. The author makes you feel the love and protection this family shows to one another and their friends. No lie..you will cheer, laugh, cry, and feel frustrated as you read the book. These are two very stubborn and hard headed characters that push each other to then limit. The love they have for each other is so strong but they cannot get past their own insecurities. Caleb and Faith were meant to be together. It takes a life changing event and a lot of work for them to finally come together. Another event takes their lives in a different direction. It would have been easy for either one of them to walk away but they can’t. Faith and Caleb’s love goes so deep that they are willing to face the impossible to stay together as a family. I say each book the CR writes is my favorite but this book along with the strong, amazing, and fearless characters and I can't wait to read more books from this author

I requested an arc and I am leaving my honest review.
Thank you C.R.Riley for sending us a copy of this book.
Where do I begin, other than getting the tissues at the ready as you will seriously need them!!
This book follows Caleb and Faith who meet in High school and have an on and off the relationship. Caleb faces soo many trials and tribulations through his life growing up and faces life-changing events that send him into a Grumpy older man. Faith is strong, sweet, innocent but never give up on those she loves.
When these characters are faced with a life-altering change it's about the way they come out of it that will melt your heart. What I loved most about this book was the reality of it all and the real-life events that truly help in keeping the story relevant.
Chris has done one heck of an incredible job and everyone needs to read it.
My Overall Rating is 5 💋💋💋💋💋 My Passion Rating is 4 💋💋💋💋
Just when I thought I couldn't love the Kohl family anymore...enter Faith and Caleb!
Wow, this was an incredible second chance romance with a twist. These two were absolutely made for each other but both initially did everything in their power to muck things up and push each other away. At first I wanted to jump into their reality and slap both of them. Then as things progressed, I still wanted to slap them! Finally, all the build up fell into place and they had we swooning and crying for their HEA.
Former characters all made their appearance and I fell for each of them a little bit more. I can't wait for the other brothers to get their story. This is a series that I will read multiple times! Job well done! :)
This was such an amazing read, and so well written. I couldn't put this book down, it tore my heart out, made me cry, and put the feeling of love back into my soul. This story of love starts with Faith and Caleb in high school and follows them through all of life's ups and downs. It is such an amazing story of love triumphing even through all that life puts you through. It doesn't pull any punches and this couple is put through tough times often, just as many couples are in real life. This was such a beautiful, romantic, story of love and the real-life trials that couples face.
I loved, loved, loved finally getting Faith and Caleb’s story! It was so great to be able to follow the two from the very beginning and see how their story unfolded. There were so many layers to their love and obstacles that they had to overcome to be together. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend even if you have not read the other books in the series!
Unforgettable by C.R Riley is a beautiful written emotional read! It kept up late at night because I wanted to kniw where the relationship between Caleb and Faith was going. It’s a second chance romance about two strong characters. I had to laugh, almost cry and wondering how this book would end. I really enjoyed reading this well written romance. Highly recommend this book in the Kohl family series. I received this arc from the author and this review is my honest opinion.
This story of Faith and Caleb is fantastic. C R Riley has created this story in a different way but it works fantastically. There are twists and turns and you must definitely need tissues for this one. Be prepared to cry but also laugh. Faith and Caleb don't have it easy when it comes to figuring out there relationship but in the end they have an unforgettable type of love and it's so much more appreciated because of their struggles. Fantastic job.
Every time I read a book from this series I fall more in love with the Kohl Family!!
Just when I thought Nathan was my favourite along comes Caleb 😍🥰😍🥰 him and Faith might just be my favourite couple from this family...although if Mrs Riley gives us more I'm sure that will change again 😜
I love the writing and how you feel like part of the family throughout the story, you feel all their pains and all their joys!
Well done Mrs Riley you have given us another absolute cracker!!
Wow! One of the best second chance romances I’ve read in a while. Faith and Caleb’s history is one that interested me from the beginning of the series and I was not disappointed! Unforgettable is the perfect mix of suspense and romance. Intense in all the right places!
Love the Kohl family series! Caleb and Faith keep finding their way back to each other. Proof that the soul knows where it wants to be. An amazing read!!!!
This brought me so many emotions while reading I don’t even know were exactly to begin. Caleb and Faith are everything you can imagine in more. This story pulled at my heart strings so much. I absolutely loved their story.
Faith and Caleb are literally made for each other. This is not exactly a second chance romance, it's more complicated and somewhat of a "my soul will only yearn for you" kind of romance.
I absolutely love how we get to know Faith and Caleb from the start, ie, how Caleb tried to make Faith go out with him in high school and their relationship in highschool, college, after college and after that. They weren't in flashback moments but we are told about every detail.
Faith has changed a lot since the first time we met her and so has Caleb. They've reached for each other, have fallen apart and went their separate ways but at the end, they always gravitate back together. (No, this is not a toxic romance.)
From the blurb it seems that the story is going to be very direct but it's much different in the best way. Caleb faces memory loss but it isn't the typical "I forgot about the time you were in my life" kind of, it included that ofcourse along with him forgetting about some routine work too and him suffering more physical issues too. ( I cried happy tears in chapter 25 ಥ‿ಥ )
There isn't anything I disliked. The kids are great, Faith's dad is amazing, Brian and Anna yaay and we see the Kohl siblings again!
Oh and yes, they are fire together!! Sweet, romantic, spicy, emotional and a big happy ending!
I couldn’t finish this one. It was a me thing and not an author thing. I tied really hard to like the characters. Since I know how they end up after reading the first two in the series I gave up. I’m still a fan of Riley and am going straight to the next book with high hopes.
