I pretty much highlighted this entire book while I was reading. Love how they started every chapter with science behind why and research behind it. Then, they provided examples! Not just one but many! 95% chance I will be buying this book to keep as a reference at work. I feel like every teacher needs to read this book in order to understand the importance of vocabulary.

I could see how this book is helpful to those teaching reading in elementary or secondary English. But for a specials teacher this book was tedious. The two middle chapters really had great ideas, but it was way to technical for me. I was looking for ways to implement better vocabulary instruction in my classes; not read about the technical ways kids acquire it.
