This book is a separate standalone in the same world as Shrouded in the Dark and Seeking Snow Falls. You don't need to read the other books 1st prior to this book, but they given insight int the larger world. What I loved about this book is how the plot twist about Felicity in the middle of the book surprised me. I enjoyed the characters' development and relationships arc. I would recommend this book.

Jenn D Young and Aspen Black have teamed up to write a fabulous reverse harem, Emerging From the Dark. This is a multiple points-of-view paranormal romance that is filled with action and has plenty of steam. Emerging From the Dark is part of the Dark Shifter Universe, the first book was Shrouded in the Dark by Aspen, and Seeking Snow Falls by Jenn is a part of this universe as well, it's the first book in the Snow Falls Pride series. The stories are all connected through characters and are part of a larger plot but I believe the books can be read as standalone and the Pride series as its own series. I haven't gotten to Shrouded in the Dark yet (I was supposed to, I own the book and will be reading it) but I have read Seeking Snow Falls (and loved it) so I got most of the character references in this book and understand pretty well what's going on. I would suggest if you plan on reading all the books in this universe to most definitely read Seeking before reading Emerging, you don't have to but it would help.

Emerging From the Dark follows Felicity, an ex-Venandi (hunters), as she tries to start her life over after escaping her family with the help of her cousin Wyn and best friend Becca (the fmc from Shrouded) and starts over in Alaska with a bunch of shifters (and the drama starts now). Felicity's family are hunters, her parents are cruel people that mistreated her and forced her to train as a hunter against her wishes. Felicity is a kind and gentle person who would never look down upon anyone and she never wanted to become a hunter. In fact, she never completed the training or hurt anyone before but that doesn't stop her from feeling guilty. Also after the pressure and abuse from her parents, Felicity has some trauma issues that she works on throughout the book.

There are three guys in her harem, Sero who is alpha of the pack, Aiden who is goth and doesn't like people, then there is playful and weird (in a good way) Sam. Sero takes things steady wanting to give her time but doesn't get me wrong is alpha in every way possible, it's so hot. Sam is playful but lets his intentions be known right away and is a little pushy right away but not in a bad way. Then there is Aiden, things start off good until he learns of her past and things get rocky but they make it back to each other. All three guys are protective of her and are into each other as well, so this relationship is more like a mating circle with everyone involved with everyone else in the group. Aiden and Sero have a past and Sam are up for the fun, there are some pretty steamy group scenes in this book but there is also a real connection, a bond, that the four of them form.

The plot for this book... I just highly suggest reading the universe. So there's a group of dark fae, the Tenebrae, who are kidnapping women (that fit certain criteria) with the help of rogue shifters, to create the perfect race (like that ever goes well for anyone). Chaos ensues, some familiar faces make an appearance along with references from characters in Shrouded and a shocking plot twist is revealed. Not to mention that the next fmc in the universe might have been introduced in this book. I loved seeing the familiar faces from Seeking Snow in this book, they answer the questions left from that book but also tie the stories together and make the overall plot that much better. Their roles in this book helps move the story forward and have me wishing for a book with everyone together because I'm greedy like that.

Emerging From the Dark is a great addition to the universe, I loved the continuation of the plot from the other books, seeing familiar faces and most of all I loved meeting the new characters and see their bond form. The overall plot seems like it's gonna be complex because of how intricate the world and stories are with each other. This is going to be an entertaining universe and I'm already excitedly waiting for the next book in the universe.

***4 1/2 stars***

Escaping from her old life Felicity (FMC) ends up in Alaska trying to start a new life. I loved Seeking Snow Falls which kinda ties into this book even though this is a standalone book in itself. Felicity is so nervous and unsure of herself at the beginning of this book mainly because of what she went through before she arrived in Alaska. She seemed to grow as a character being there and with the complications of Alpha - Sero, Beta - Aiden and Tiger shifter - Sam (who was cheeky and fun in this book). Its a fab read and i enjoyed reading it so much. Im looking forward to Wendy's book now

This was a great RH story (the narration was fantastic too — the Bordeauxs have a way of really sucking you into the story with their voices, tone changes, and pacing). I really enjoyed the other stand-alone in this universe where Felicity is first introduced so I knew I needed to get this as soon as it was available. Aspen Black does m/m like no other; it’s sinfully delightful.

I was a little disappointed that there was no content warning or trigger warning anywhere (audible blurb, Amazon blurb, “look inside”, or goodreads) that forewarned you about the FMC’s struggle with self harm. It’s mentioned as a past issue but the feelings/urges are pretty well spelled out & if you struggle with it too, it’s a little much especially without warning.

But overall this was a great addition and I can’t wait for more!

Ok first off, this book is so freaking hot! 🥵🥵🥵 It is just as hot as the first book! WOW Word of advice, listen in public with caution to this audiobook. Bridget and Jake Bordeaux do such an outstanding job of bringing all of these characters to life! These two are seriously talented. Both do such a wonderful job of adjusting their voices to each character. I also loved Loved LOVED that the narration is fully integrated so anytime one of the guys speaks during one of the sections that is from Felicity’s POV, then Jake narrates it & vice versa. It is so well edited together too that it sounds completely natural.

I love the continuation in this world, the authors really have a great world that they have built & I really enjoyed the expansion to it with this story. I also loved that this book was a stand alone, revolving around a single harem. I really loved how this story took a completely different twist to what we saw in book 1 of this series, it kept me guessing.

If you love paranormal reverse harems then this is definitely one for you!

3.75-4⭐️’s - I like how the characters from the other books are involved to a point, but impede anyone from understanding the plot who hasn’t read the rest of the books in this series.

I felt like there is a lot that was left unsaid and there’s way more to these characters’ stories than in this book and the face plant of an ending. It’s not a cliffhanger nor an HEA…. It made me feel like I landed my face into mud.

Despite this massive issue, I really did enjoy what I read! The characters, backgrounds, personalities etc. we’re really well done and well paced. Despite this, the ending few chapters and the ending felt like the equivalent of being starving in front of a feast, but only five minutes to consume what you can while it’s in front of you. Eventually, you end up disappointed and wanting more.

After reading a piece of it in the Princess and her Alphaholes anthology, I had to finish the rest of it. This is the second book in the Dark Shifters Universe.

I loved Felicity and the strength she had to start over somewhere, where they might have disliked her for who her family was. Her men are hot and the MM action 🔥🔥. I love the cross over from the Snow Falls Pride series.

All in all this book is on fire and if you love a great steamy shifter story this is it.

Excellent book. Felicity moves to Alaska to start her life over. She has had a very rough life and desperately needs a change. She never expects to meet three very infuriating and different men. Secrets and enemies are all around them Nd they need to lean on each other to survive.

Writing is simple like the first, a bit repetitive. Unlike the first, this book had no substance to it. The first one at least had a decent storyline and mostly fleshed out conflicts. While this one picks up right where the first left off, the characters and story are shallow leaving you not knowing them or how anything is even related. It’s supposed to be a standalone and while I appreciate not rehashing EVERYTHING there are a bunch of characters that show up and it’s like we’re supposed to know who they are and what conflict they’re talking about since a bunch of it is ever explained and what little explanation is given is just accepted by the main characters.

Sero is portrayed as an old school alpha yet he lets some of the bears run amok - the rest of the pack is uncomfortable around them but somehow Sero has no idea what’s been going on.

Felicity is literally trying on a pair of shoes after meeting Sam then wonders how he knows her shoe size. Girl, unless you grabbed the wrong box it only takes a pair of eyes.

Felicity runs from her mates for a second and looks at the scars on her wrist from when she used to cut. This had absolutely no purpose in the story, it was just a useless blurb. She never talks about it with her mates and they apparently don’t notice them?? She just looks at the scars in the woods, thinks about how her cousin helped her stop, and moves on.

—Spoilers below—

There are a couple fluffy scenes between the mates but not a lot happens, I don’t know if the author had too many storyline she wanted to follow or didn’t know how to connect them. A big conflict is typical “mean girl” shit where one girl wanted the alpha but the new girl got him. Their solution was to swap an iPad into an Android tablet box and try to frame Felicity for shoplifting when she hadn’t even checked out and wasn’t buying a tablet. This is a Walmart in Alaska, you really think they don’t have cameras even if they’re crap?

Then suddenly a Fae (Fabian), a snow leopard (Stephanie), and two wolf shifters crash her date with Sam. Felicity gets bit but it’s fine she’s immune to shifter venom that would try to change a human. Surprise! You’re not human and these wolves work with the dark fae who are trying to kidnap specific women and start a breeding program that Fabian was maybe rescuing Stephanie from? Fabian says Felicity was actually a witch from a long line of witches who could also shift to snow leopards but was stolen by the dark fae as a toddler and given to the hunters. She had her memory wiped and a curse blocked her magic. Stephanie is her cousin and their grandmother is on the way to help the ridiculously powerful fae unlock her magic because he can’t do it alone. Oh yeah, and these dark fae now want Felicity back.

There’s a couple paragraphs of “training” her magic where nothing happens other than blowing stuff up because it was suppressed so long it is overloading her system. Fabian has visions and gives cryptic hints like trust your instincts”. He also makes a special potion for her to take when she’s ready to mate with the guys to make it stick? But there’s no set parameters, she can just take it whenever as long as it’s before mating any of them…

The dark fae hire random mercenaries to cause a car accident to kidnap Felicity. She mates with the guys. One of the bears was a mole for the dark fae. The bear and two supposedly powerful fae show up to kidnap Felicity when only Sero and Felicity are home - she kills one of the fae while Sero kills the bear and fights off the other fae until Sam and Aiden arrive.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "EMERGING FROM THE DARK" (DARK SHIFTERS UNIVERSE) Jenn D Young & Aspen Black did an excellent job writing this book together so addicting from start to finish.
Felicity is an ex-Venandi Hunters something she was never comfortable doing her parents were do cruel to her mistreated her with the help of her cousin Wyn & BF Becca she escapes to Alaska to start her life over.
Felicity meets a stranger on the plane to Anchorage Alaska Aiden is second to the Alpha Sero & Beta pack enforcer she does know this until she meets Sero at the airport.
Sero was friends with Wyn he owed him alot for saving alot of people from Venandi so he agreed to protect Felicity with his life but did realize at first sight he knew she was his mate as well as Aiden's.
Sero introduces Felicity to the pack most were respectful & friendly but not Brittany & her friends their Bear Shifters & she wanted Sero for herself so you knew she'd make life difficult for Felicity.
Brittany asked Felicity if she wanted go shopping for clothes she was a little suspicious of her as she should be but ends up meeting Sam a crazy weird guy who helped her shop he was anther one of her mates but luckily he wad there when Brittany tried to get Felicity in trouble with security for stealing.
Felicity had her hands full dealing with three new possible mates if she agrees then she meets family she set didn't know about secrets are revealed she's more than just a human.
Felicity & Wendy the pack cook become fast friends when Fabian a dark Fae Warlock shows up to help out there is something between him & Wendy could they be mates.
I definitely recommend to get this on the edge of your seat awesome read you can't put down I loved Felicity, Sero, Aiden & especially Sam he was off the charts hilarious at times such an addicting read.
I can't wait for the next book in the Dark Shifter Universe Series I hope Wendy & Fabian get their own story he was such a mystery & she had mysterious past as well.

I read this back to back with Aspen's other book Shrouded in the Dark, so I was well into the world and the lore behind shifters that had already been created. Technically this is a standalone book, but I think you'd get a lot more out of the story if you had the context of Shrouded and Seeking Shadow Falls - the other books within the world.

All that said, this is a light and easy shifter RH romance with plenty of MM action thrown in there. We meet Felicity at the airport as she leaves her life behind in Texas to re-start in Alaska - away from her hunter family. She never wanted to be a hunter, and she's very happy to have escaped that life, but she does know that living with shifters while she's been considered the enemy will be hard.

While the lore in this story isn't as in-depth as the other books, the authors do a great job at hooking you into the world and the characters. I cannot wait to see the story between Wendy and Fabian (which I hope is in the works!)

The FMC!
Felicity has had a tough time with always being looked down on in her family and not good enough - we find out that are reasons for that which were unexpected! She jumps at the chance to get away from her family and figure out who she is. She doesn't want an immediate relationship, but she doesn't fight the feelings. It's great to see how the guys do things at her pace.

The Guys!
Sero, Aiden, Sam - three very different guys. 2 wolves and a tiger - oh my! Sero and Aiden already have a thing together before Felicity, so it's interesting to see the dynamic change as her and Sam come into the picture. I love the family they make - but Sam is def my fave 😊

The Smut!
For a short book, it's jam-packed with hot and steamy scenes between the main characters in many different combinations. If MM is your jam then this book is for you!

Emerging from the Dark is a reverse harem paranormal romance novel by Aspen Black and Jenn D. Young. This book takes part in the Dark Shifters Universe and is going to reconnect you with some familiar characters from another series. If you read a teaser of this book, as part of an anthology, then these characters will be familiar, but this time, you’re getting the full extent of the story. This book can be read as a standalone and has a HEA as well.
Felicity is heading to Alaska to get a new start. She’s getting away from her parents so that she can be free of who she was raised to be – a killer. All she wants is a fresh start, to get on her feet, and live her life her way. What she isn’t prepared for, but is about to get is an array of handsome mates, and a surprise revelation about her past and who she really is.
This reverse harem paranormal romance novel really moves quickly so buckle up! You get a nice variety of mates for Felicity and the romance really heats up really quickly. I’d have liked more development since one minute it’s “I don’t want any mates” to things are getting hot and steamy without any real development. Get ready for some familiar characters to make appearances as well if you’ve read the Snow Falls book with the snow leopards. If you haven’t, don’t worry, it’s not necessary to have read but it does add more enjoyment.
I devoured this book eagerly and loved the main characters, especially Sam. The dynamics between the group are sizzling, the males are especially delicious. Would have loved more. Lol! This book earns it’s 5 out of 5 stars. This book is a stand-alone novel, but I’m hopeful that we’ll get more of these characters one day.

I had really enjoyed the story line until the whole Snow Falls cast abruptly interrupted and revealed that the FMC Felicity was secretly and had long-lost relatives that needed to teach her how to use her . Maybe it would have made more sense if I had read the Snow Falls books first, but it was incredibly disjoint and disorienting to made a full 180-degree turn into a new type of mystery and battle for the main character instead of just focusing on her developing relationships and pack drama after she was revealed to be an ex-hunter. Honestly, I didn't like any of the Snow Falls cast that was introduced. I think they were meant to be quirky yet powerful, but they came off as really annoying to me. It was never explained well enough to me why and how the heck

The book needed some better editing -- there were typos such as how babushka was formatted throughout the chapters and "ice cream Sunday's." The relationship went full insta-lust/insta-love after the heritage revelation halfway through the book, and I wasn't super interested after that. I still agree with my original rating of 4-stars for the beginning preview I read for the novel in the anthology The Princess & Her Alphaholes, but my rating just went downhill after that.

Good

Heads up: this is the second book in the dark shifter’s universe after Shrouded in the Dark, BUT you should also read Jenn D. Young’s Seeking Snow Falls as this book no only references it, but features some of the characters from it.

After being freed from being forced to join the Venandi (hunters), Felicity is sent to safety in Alaska by her brother Wyn.
On the way there she meets wolf shifter Aiden, who turns out to be beta to Alpha Sero of the pack she is staying with.
A chance encounter with tiger shifter Sam, rounds out the three potential mates for our heroine, and she needs all three to keep her safe.

Dark Fae, jealous shifters, and a mysterious past round out this sexy reverse harem, which features M/M as well as M/F.
It builds upon the story begun in Shrouded in the Dark, continuing the story and adding to the overarching background story with the dark Fae.

It’s an interesting world, with some intriguing characters (and a few very interesting background characters). Due to the fact the book isn’t super long, we don’t get as much detail about the background of the characters, and in the case of both Aiden and Sero I would have loved to know more.

An enjoyable RH story for fans of the genre.

Definitely felt like reading book one in this series would have helped you understand exactly what was going on in this book.
At least to know some of the characters they are talking about.
Even though it states it is a standalone novel.

Felicity just wants to escape.
Her family.
The life they live.
And be happy.
Have freedom.
She's hoping that Alaska will offer that to her.
She doesn't plan on making a friend on her flight out.
Or for that friend to know the person she will be staying with.
And definitely doesn't expect to find out that she has three mates.
But that isn't all that is waiting for her in Alaska.
Her life is turned upside down; in the best possible way.

I enjoyed this book.
It was a quick-read with enjoyable characters.

If you are not into M/M this book isn't for you.
Most of the steamy scenes are M/M.
Even the group scenes.

One of the downsides to the book though was I felt like there wasn't enough tension.
While there were things that went wrong, they were easily settled and didn't seem to cause much friction.
There isn't necessarily anything wrong with that but just felt like we didn't have that build up.

This ends in a happily ever after, but I feel there is more in store for these characters.

Overall, it was a good read.

First a heads up, although this book is a stand alone and can absolutely be read by itself. However, there are some character cross overs between this first book in this series as well as Seeking Snow Falls book 1. Both series are written in the same world and reading those 2 books first will give you the back story on some of the side characters.

Now for this particular book, I love Felicity and how strong she is, being able to turn against what she has been taught her whole life and finding a way out. I really, really liked Aiden from the get go. The banter between him and Felicity is amazing. I love Alpha Sero is the perfect combination of bossy and sweet (but only to his mate), and Sam just makes the story. His personality and his shifter animal marry so perfectly. He is truly a delight. Throw in some light BDSM and some MM action and I was hooked. I only wish there was more to the steamy scenes as I really thought the combination of characters really heated up the pages.

This book is a standalone but I would recommend reading the other shared novels of this world for some background information. There are a few references to other characters but it’s not a huge deal if you don’t. It just helps to give a better overall picture of this book within this world.

This was a cute feel good standalone shifter novel. It’s an easy read and you become immersed in it pretty quickly. I did have a few laughs when it came to the antics between the characters. I especially loved Sam, just him overall, and Felicity’s very creative way of swearing. Very creative. I think I may have to use some of her lines.

There was some conflict in the book and a few twists. While this book did have a happily ever after it did leave an opening for more in this world. I’m really hoping that Wendy and Fabian have a spinoff in the works and we get to learn a little bit more of what has been happening and who tried to do some kidnapping.

This is a great collaboration of these two authors. Can’t wait for more spinoffs.

Audio book

This is a stand-alone story , but I strongly suggest listening to book 1 by both Authors Aspen Black, Jenn D. Young. They write very well detailed stories. The words flow easily , The story of self awareness and growth is amazing. It’s a riveting tale It’s Well written and leaves you excited. more! Narration was very well done, the story line flows smoothly and I love that . The authors will drag you in .
The heroine is Felicity. Felicity has been brought up in a family of shifter hunters. But she didn’t feel comfortable getting close to the shifters to kill them . Little did she know her cousin is a shifter. It’s her cousin that tells her to run and hide. He suggested Alaska . Little does Felicity know what she’s getting herself into . Once she meets the guys they know she’s their mate .

Both Bridget and Jake Bordeaux outdid themselves with this story. They did all the characters great with their tone .

Excellent stand-alone in the shared universe. I really enjoyed this second book in the shared universe with Snow Falls by Jenn D Young. There wasn’t a ton of overlap from book 1 or the other series but they all tie together and make for excellent world building and character development.
The FMC grows up a lot in this book from her introduction in Shrouded in the Dark. She becomes a deeper very interesting character that you are happy to delve into. Her men are smoking hot and romantic. I loved them. The MM was also well done and hot. This author is very good with that aspect, making it a natural expression of relationships rather than a side note.
This collaboration shows lots of promise. I hope to see more co-writes in the future. They blend well together and I love the shared world. So much potential for future books. Definitely recommend.

Worth the wait

I've been looking forward to this since I read the preview in the Princess and her Alphaholes anthology, and it was worth the wait! Felicity has been brought up in a family of shifter hunters, but she doesn't belong, and escapes north to make a fresh start. What she doesn't expect to find at the shifter sanctuary she's sent to, are three hot mates. Although the book is a stand alone, it's part of a shared universe - it's not essential to have read the other books (shrouded in the Dark and Seeking Snow Falls) it helps! It has a HEA for these particular characters, but there's an overall arc in the universe with some questions still to answer, and there's a couple of characters I want to see more of their stories, too! Always a sign of a well written secondary character when you want more of them!

Aspen and Jenn have built another brilliant story into this amazing shared world. It's always lovely to have loved characters from other books play a rol and bring further depth to this journey.

Felicity is a great FMC she is strong and brave, being able to get way from the life and mentality of her parents because it doesn't fit her own convictions and move to Alaska takes guts.

Aiden called to me from the beginning. The connection and easy conversation between him and Felicity is amazing. Alpha Sero is just the right combination of bossy and sweet but only where his mate is concerned. Sam is just *chef kiss* I love how his personality and his shifter animal match so perfectly.

The great characters, smooth plot and steamy scenes with MM made this book an unputdownable page turner.

I generally just had this feeling that I was missing something. It’s labeled as a standalone novel, but it very much felt like I should have read the book before this first (and maybe some of the other books from this universe).

Also, I was a little annoyed by the lack of detail sometimes. For example, there was a part in which something happened at the compound MC grew up in, but we were never told what actually happened. I felt like I would have to or have had read the other books within this universe to know what happened. Which again made this feel like not a standalone novel.

All in all, it was ok but I’m definitely not interested enough to go back and read the other books.

P.S. I came across this book in an anthology, The Princess & Her Alphaholes. Hence why I started with this book instead of the other.

I knew that I desperately needed Felicity’s story but I didn’t know how bad until I actually got it.
Felicity has had a rough life with parents who’s views are a complete 360 from what she feels is right. She is forced to leave her life behind with nothing but her phone and the clothes on her back. Her trip to Alaska and a fresh start is made a little better by a random stranger who turns out to know the Alpha that she is supposed to meet. A trip to the store for essentials quickly leads her to a quirky male who makes her world spin for a third time. But just when she thinks that life is starting to possibly settle she’s thrown another loop. But will uncovering a past that she didn’t know she had finally lead her to where she’s rightfully supposed to be??

Felicity is starting fresh. Her cousin has helped break free from her parents and their cruel, shifter hunting organization. Sent to Alaska to lay low, Felicity moves into a pack house for a group of shifters - all seeking fresh starts. There’s no denying the chemistry between Felicity and the pack’s alpha, his beta, and the cocky tiger who claims no pack allegiances. Felicity isn’t looking for love or relationship, but wants to really begin again. Persistence, a little tenderness, and tension surround the four as they face the truths of some very heinous deeds and evil plans.

This stand alone in the Dark Shifter Universe is a fast paced read with laughs, mystery, and all the good bits thrown in!

Solid standalone!
Although this story makes reference to characters in the authors other work (shroud in the dark and the seeking Snowfalls falls collection) it can be read entirely as a standalone! 😊
It’s got everything you’d want in a standalone, mystery action steam and answers 😁
Felicity is an ex-hunter escaping her like when she finds herself mates to shifters much to her horror but she realises she can’t deny their connection and they form solid bonds. Her alpha, dominating but loveable, Sero; the beta Aiden, gothic and broody but a total romantic are Wolves whilst Sam, who is eccentric but with a caring depth, is a tiger! Each protect Felicity when it’s apparent she’s not safe as she learns more about her past and who she truly is!! 😍

What a great read!! This is kinda of spin-off series from the Shrouded in the Dark and Seeking Shadow Falls shared universe. Technically this is read as a standalone book, but I would totally recommend that you checked out the books I mention above just so you can get a better understanding of this shared universe. With that being said I enjoyed this book it was a easy RH romance with plenty of MM actions. This is a fast paced read with lots of laughs, mystery, action, and of course steamy romance making it a helluva read. Also I can't wait for and to read Wendy and Fabian story something tell me it's going to be epic. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are completely my own.

A fascinating world of darkness and light

Felicity, an ordinary girl in supernatural world, has always felt like a square peg being jammed into a round hole by her family and makes a plan with her cousin to get away. As the story progresses unexpected friends drop into her life, mean girls try to cause strife, and she struggles to define her new self as the danger and lies become rife. Aspen Black and Jenn D. Young have created a fascinating world of darkness and light that allow their characters to shine. I hope that there are more books to come and would really like babushka to continue to make appearances in them.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

While this wasn’t as good as the other book in this universe, Shrouded in the Dark, it was still really good! It was cool to see a different side of Felicity, after meeting her only briefly before. She fell short previously but really grew in this book.

Sero, Aiden, and Sam really complimented her. Sero was the older, tougher Daddy who protected everyone, Aiden was the bad boy brooder with a temper, and Sam was the tough yet incredibly vulnerable clown who lightened everyone’s hearts with his antics. All of their interactions with Felicity were wonderful but the spice scenes were delectable!!

The twist of Fae and magic was one I didn’t see coming but I found myself enjoying it. Overall it was an excellent story with fun characters, intriguing villains, and some delicious spice!

Brilliant writing partnership!
loved this standalone book which had plenty of content and storey plus crossovers from some of the other authors books that share this world and lets face it every one loves a good cross over.
Ex-Hunter Felicity is desperate to escape her past so in desperation she accepts the invitation to be sent to a pack in Alaska - Now the pack doesnt want a hunter and really if truth be told felicity isnt entirely comfortable either so imaging the shock when she finds herself mated to some of the shifters.
Then throw into the mix that she may not have teh heritage she thought she had and you have a brilliant novel with suspense, intrigue, sizzle and steam.
Really enjoyable read!
