No idea how to rate this strange book. The author tries to reproduce something from nature, say tree bark, and uses all manner of things to do so. Things like fabric, wallpaper, buttons, etc. Some of the items are then denatured in some way, for instance melted.
Using interesting techniques and a multitude of various materials, this book illustrates how to push the boundaries of textile art inspired by nature. I enjoyed reading and found it inspiring. It's not so much of a 'how to' as the techniques are quite complicated.
