The women of the Rephaite race, a breed of Fallen Angels, are being hunted for their natural ability of Rebirth and for the demon Duke of Hell, Asteroth’s regeneration. This level of genocide led by The Mastress, one of the most powerful Fallen Angel’s in the Celestial race, has caused Rephaites to meet their near extinction. As Rogue Legions and Others search the Sixth Dimension, Earth, to find her last vessel for Aster, it is up to Ezra, the God of the Fallen, to find her first, and to protect her at all cost.
Saphyre, a Rephaite reborn, mourns the distant memories of her best friend, Aster, every day. What she doesn’t realize is that their close bond was not as innocent as she thought it to be. Her life shatters right before her eyes one afternoon when she realizes through a stranger that not only is she being hunted, but Aster is being chained and tortured in the Underworld. She must choose to either remain content with her human life and the illusion of it, or to follow this mysterious, alluring man to meet her fate.

A.M Hyacinth spends most of her days writing out more ideas for the diverse fantasy world to indulge in while simultaneously creating multiple in-home DIY projects and practicing her piano skills.
Alongside her novels, she also writes poetry and makes drawings to fulfill the aesthetics. She is currently writing the second book in the Rise of the Fallen series, 'Saving Adonya'.
Where do I even begin!? This was a hell of a debut (pun intended). I am obsessed with this series already. Hyacinth has filled my heart, ripped it apart, and mended it. They has a talent for writing romance, suspense, and adventure. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Also the character development was flawless. I felt like I was super close to every single character even the supports. I seriously cannot wait for book 2 since this is only the beginning. The end has me itching to read more! I definitely think people should pick up this book if you like a little spice 🌶, Egyptian lore, and angels!
I’m so glad I took this book as a journey. Because it is such a beautiful one and you cannot read a book for the first time twice! The author is not only a stunning human being, but a very gifted story teller and world builder. Her beautiful characters are so easy to picture and love and I always love a book with a redemption arc, main character coming into their power and a fuck ton of emotional damage along the way. I laughed, l cried, I am not the same. I am so grateful for this book and the author who penned it ♥️
If you are looking for a snarky, mystery God who takes you with him on a mission to give yourself up, to save your best friend then this book is for you. And if you're looking for very lusty chemistry and honestly even a bit toxic (MC makes out with someone and gets hit by the love interest). Aside that, this book had a great quality plot and amazing world building. I really enjoyed the action and the steamy scenes. I honestly had a bit of problem with that one part where Ezra hits her. And he didn't seem trust worthy to me. But he had reasons for why he acted this way. All the secrets he was keeping and the torture he went through before he turned into God. I liked the action ride and solving the mysteries throughout. Overall, author did great since this being there first book. I would say, this fantasy world has a lot of characters so we may get stories from other pov's in future. Or at least I hope so..
What an amazing debut novel. This author has a way of weaving words together that leaves you fully enveloped in an intricate tapestry of a story. Wonderful. I was excited for the divers cast and the reimagining of Egyptian gods. It isn’t often you see them portrayed as this author has done. It’s a heavy book, but the banter and subplot make the pages turn quickly. Can’t wait to see where she takes the rest of the series.
Saving Asteroth is one of those books you just know you’ll love from the first page! From fantastic events to amazing depictions of lore and characters you can FEEL FOR! this book had me spellbound! Would 100% read from this author again! This book was my guilty pleasure!
I liked it, it was a quick and easy read despite being a book with a lot of pages. I loved the characters, and the concept of the story felt very original to me. There were also some parts where strong themes are mentioned, so I think there should have been a TW at the beginning of it. I loved how everything has a description that gets you to picture the situation or scenario perfectly. It also has a lot of unexpected twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. I was fascinated by the story the author tells us, it always keeps you interested in what's next. Thanks to the author for sending me a digital copy of her book and trusting me to review it.
This was an awesome read! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. These characters have taken me on a great adventure and I am looking forward to more!!!
If I didn’t know that this was being revised (which is out now) I would rate this a 3 because even with the typos the story was really interesting and the concept was awesome. The major issues that I hope got some attention is that there was a whole lot going on and stuff that seemed unnecessary. There was to much attention paid to things that didn’t move the story forward and then things that were important were a little rushed and chaotic. To me it seemed like a movie that was playing in the author’s head as she was writing everything she saw, everything that was said and done, as well as trying to give you what the characters were feeling and why. Which made the dialogue weird. The way Saphyre talked was often weird and the way her and Ezra’s emotions where all over the place was, well annoying. The other thing is there is never any explanation of powers and ranking, not in a way that is helpful, for example

I'm back! This. Is. It. It's new, it's fresh, it's spicy. And it's all you'll need. Come join Saphyre on this journey (back off Ez is taken 💕) and forget where you are because this book has done it. Beautifully written and thought of to the bone, a future best seller 💕💕. This is it. Wow. I ma mind blown at the talent here. Just, chef kisses.
from start to finish this book embodied nothing but vivid descriptions and exceptional writing. it consisted of so many different genres in one…romance, fantasy, action, supernatural without taking away from the actuality of the plot. Each characer had their sole purposes and the writer executed their parts so well. everyone seemed to have a main character moment, which made it even more special. it produced so many great quotes and phrases that are relatable, which includes, "sometimes I fall too easily to my insecurities". The rawness gets even better than that. The main character grew intellectually and mentally, compared to how she started out and of course we love a good character development! I am beyond thrilled to have read and received the opportunity to own this book in paperback!
Saving Asteroth is a great story, so well written and the characters are mysterious and so damn interesting. I absolutely love the storytelling and the dialogue between the characters. The chemistry between Saphyre and Ezra (aka God of the Fallen) is so well developed and A.M. Hyacinth expertly shows this without a single word!
This is the kind of book you experience, and it's safe to say A.M. Hyacinth is on get way to becoming queen of the genre. The plot keeps getting interesting with each chapter, but one of the most impressive things is that the intimate scenes were perfectly in line with the genre. They were written so tastefully! Fact is, I loved this book and I can't wait for more from this brilliant writer!
DNF. I tried really hard to like this book. Like really hard. But this book clearly wasn’t made for my age-group, and tbh I probably wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The characters are so annoying and honestly unlikeable that I had to put it down. The main character Saphyre has quite typical YA main character syndrome in the aspect that everyone seems to be attracted to her and like her, while she has a very shy and outcast demeanor. I get that Saphyre is almost a stand in for the reader, who with the target demographic, is probably shy young girls, but the attraction all the characters have towards her is unrealistic at best and kind of creepy at worst.
From what I could understand from reading it (since I really couldn’t force myself to finish it) Saphyre is technically not a teenage girl, but some hundreds of year old being. However, because she acts, and talks like a teenager, the immortal beings in this book flirting with her and fighting over her is kind of creepy as an older reader.
However I think the books main problem is that the beginning is so dang boring. Things happen, yet none of it feels that interesting. Saphyre gets dragged along to save her friend, but while reading the book I realized Saphyre doesn’t do anything, but has things done to her. As a reader, I want my protagonist to do things and push the plot. Not simply be a random bystander. Maybe if you are younger you will enjoy this. I put up the spoiler tag but have tried to leave it mainly spoiler free. Overall though, the writing and plot kind of feels reminiscent of wattpad so if you are still in that phase I would recommend you give it a try. If you are out of it, maybe give the book a pass.

At 1st the story line read to slow for me, but as time passes by and with each page turn the pace picked up more and more each time; leaving you wondering what was going to happen next. I love mythology and I love how the author made the characters in the book feel so real, like people you know in the regular.
DNF 7% The writing was just not quite there to the point that it affected the experience. Maybe I’m just being a snob, but the conflicting tenses kept pulling me out of the descriptions and the descriptions themselves were a little too much most of the time.
I love this story! From the mix of the realms of different Deities, the character development and the world building! I look forward to more from this author and seeing what else happens in the world of The Fallen.
