Choices: Standing in the Gap or Standing in God's Way?

a break or opening/intercedingYou stood in the gap. Interceded on behalf of someone or something. However, what you prayed was what you thought was needed. Perhaps, it took a moment, but you later learned, sadly, with all your good intentions and spiritual insights, you might have stood in God’s way. For example, someone you knew and loved constantly chose the wrong path. You bailed them out, gave them a place to lay their head and your blood pressure soared. You prayed repeatedly. Nothing you did worked—until you finally threw up your hands, moved out of the situation and truly gave it to God to have His way.Yet, on the other hand. Some are anointed for gap standing. Moses “stood in the gap” and saved the people of Israel. In the Gap, he petitioned God on behalf of the Israelites.However, he was chosen to do that. Psalms 106:23Accept that there is a difference between choosing to pray God’s Will and making a choice to pray Yours. Why?God’s purpose for our lives will be impacted by our choices when we think we know more than Him. We All Have Choices…and Consequences!

This book was awe inspiring! Another excellent book in this series! Anna had to decide her choice and in the end, she chose her daughters and herself! I loved the author’s story on her and Rob’s relationship!

“God’s purpose for our lives will be impacted by our choices when we think we know more than Him.” We all have choices and those choices will have consequences! We should choose wisely and keep God in the forefront!!

Everyone has them.....Choices

I loved the raw version of abuse between the husband and wife.Glad she finally got the nerve to leave ,. I would have loved to see how she flourished after being on her own.

I enjoyed reading this book. Painful, yet heart warming. Our choices have consequences. According to the scriptures, “joy comes in the morning.” So happy that after Pat’s pain, she found her Hallelujah. God is able to mend our broken pieces.
