His proposal is indecent. Adventurous. And ripe for scandal.

Daughter of a political journalist, Christiana Snow knows how to avoid the meat grinder of D.C.’s gossip mill. Get good grades in college. Work hard at a boutique hotel/restaurant where literally no one brings their spouse. And never, ever bend the rules.

But when she encounters Congressman Jonathan Brond, his penetrating green eyes, chocolate-caramel voice, and skin-tingling touch halts her breath. Especially when he offers her something more. Indecently more. But only if she abides by his rules.

Calculated risks. That's the secret to Jonathan’s success in politics, in business, with women. On the House floor, compromise is essential. In the bedroom? Compromise isn’t even in his vocabulary.

Christiana’s blonde, sapphire-eyed beauty and shy demeanor is everything he’s never found in D.C.’s shark-infested high society. If only Christiana wasn’t so young, so impressionable…so perfect for him. If only this wasn’t Washington, D.C. Where someone's always lurking in the shadows to take you down.

Note: This billionaire, age-gap, forbidden-love romance is hot enough to fry your e-reader circuits! Handle with care!

After Perfect,i decided to go back to the start and read more from there.
Elite is the first book, and it gives the background of what goes on in this Washington.
The politics,the intriges,and the socialites.

Christiana lives in this Washington,or should i say exists.
She’s the daughter of reporter Peter Snow, and even though she’s only 19,she has been taking care of him for too long….
The only “friend” she has is Avery Churchill, daughter of Coco and Judge Churchill.
Avery isn’t really a friend, that much is clear pretty quick.
She bullies her into doing things she doesn’t want, and mostly turn out to Avery’s benefit.
Until Jonathan Brond,a 30 year old congressman with a taste for kink.
When they meet,he is intrigued and wants to get to know Christiana.
Avery has her own agenda, though….and that involves getting up close and personal with him.

Christiana and Jonathan meet twice more, and he convinces her to go to dinner with him.
In this restaurant, away from Washington,he shares his intentions and gives her time to think about his proposal.
Since Chris is attracted to him and wants to experience what he offers, she accepts.
He dóes however stress this has to remain a secret, for both their sakes.
Before they start their arrangement,he makes sure his charge Yvette deCord, who’s going through a nasty divorce,is in good hands.

Their arrangement soon consumes both, but still they manage to keep it quiet.
Chris has secrets Jonathan wants to know, but that requires trust…
In order to get her to submit fully,to trust him,he needs to push her.
Once he hears what they are,he knows he can’t step aside once their time is up.
Because he cares about her,and faced with a choice between Chris and congress,he knows what his choice will be…

In the meantime, someone’s been following Jonathan, and he needs to find out who,and why.
But then he’s shot……
Was it the person that followed him,or is there something else going on?
Will he survive, and will he allow Chris to come near him, ever again if that puts her in danger, too?

Even though it took me a bit to get into this one, once i did i enjoyed the story.
The struggles of both their lives, the support they found with eachother, that was beautiful.
The added bit of suspense was just enough.
The only thing i had a problem with, was the sudden change in Yvette….
From a needy sub to a confident woman in such a short period was hard to believe.

Surprised and Delighted!
"you're not alone. I see you. I'm with you."
I was not expecting the exciting narrative that Lovely provided. I was prepared for a deliciously kinky romance, but I was not expecting the suspense and high-stakes Washington drama.

This book is the first in Elizabeth SaFleur's Elite Doms of Washington Series, but it is a stand-alone novel. The story wraps up beautifully with no cliffhanger, and the series promises new couples for subsequent books.

There's some mild BDSM themes running through the story (as the series name suggests) I would categorize the level of play as "intro-level" which is appropriate considering our young female MC was going through life blissfully unaware of the D/s scene.

As a side note, I want to say that:
1) Thank you Sweet Jesus, Christiana was NOT a virgin.
2) Jonathan has the most intriguing 'playrooms' I think I've ever read.
3) In a world full of tropey best friends in Modern Romance (They usually fall into three categories: The slut, the gay guy, or the absentee roommate who only shows up for 'important talks') this book presents the reader with Avery - The daughter of a Federal judge. She's a manipulative little socialite who has been Christina's life-long friend. I hated Avery in the best possible way. Her character elicited an immediate negative reaction (read intense loathing) from me, and she kept my attention throughout the book.

Christiana Snow
She wanted more, not even knowing what more might entail. She'd dance on the edge of this addiction, this obsession named Jonathan Brond, until she bled.
Christiana's character started off painfully shy and unsure, but she was so authentic and believable. Her character grew into a vibrant and strong woman as the story progressed, and it was a joy to watch her thrive as a submissive.

We quickly learn that she's been taking care of herself for a very long time. Her family life has been far from idealistic, but she's pressed on with her head held high.

This story begins during the summer between her Freshman and Sophomore years in college. She's working her ass off at a Washington DC restaurant in order to afford next year's tuition.

When she's not serving DC's rich and powerful, she's being dragged to charity galas by her friend Avery, or playing designated driver for her alcoholic father.

Not an ideal life, but one that Christina has a firm hold on... Until she meets one dashing Congressman and her whole world is turned upside-down.

Congressman Jonathan Brond
He had planned to care for no one - until the right time. Timing was everything in Washington.
Too bad he'd met the perfect woman during an imperfect time.
Hello drool-worthy Congressman! Brond comes from a political line as famous as the Kennedy's, and he's working to restore his family's prestige. He's the youngest member of Congress ever to be elected, and he's single.

The definition of eligible.
(And Lickable... Just sayin')

Jonathan Brond sees Washington's blue-blooded socialites circling him like sharks and is determined to stay unattached. He has a solid plan for his future and relationships would only be a hindrance.

Congressman Bond isn't what I was expecting, and I was so wonderfully enthralled by his character. He has a genuine need to help everyone he can. He's not your standard politician, he plays the game because he feels like he has to redeem his family name and right the wrongs of his father.

Now would be a good time to mention that this book is dual-POV, so the reader gets a front row seat to Brond's inner-monologue as he falls hard for an extraordinary young woman.

Brond fought his instant attraction to the young and impressionable Christina Snow. The reasons to walk away were endless...
It's an election year,
She's nineteen years old,
Her father is a political journalist,
Her best friend keeps throwing herself at him...

Brond has no use for greedy little DC princesses like Avery, but he's helpless against his attraction to Christina. She's honest and kind, she isn't interested in wealth or power, she's independent and spirited - qualities Jonathan Brond doesn't see on Capital Hill.

Christiana Snow is offered the chance at a summer affair with DC's most eligible bachelor. She'll have to hide their relationship from her scheming best friend and her journalist father, but that's not all...

Jonathan Brond comes from a political family. He knows how to keep secrets, including a deliciously deviant preference for bondage and discipline.

The story progresses steadily with romance and suspense. Once this story gained momentum I was simply unable to put it down. There were several little twists and turns which surprised me and kept me on my toes.

Elizabeth SaFleur is a new-to-me author and I am impressed with what I've read so far. I think it's difficult to write a story with a wealthy sexual dominant and not conjure ghosts of so many books before, but Elizabeth SaFleur put a delicious DC spin on the subject, and I certainly enjoyed myself.

I’ve been an author for a long time, so I focus on the nuts and bolts of the story from page one. If I can get pulled in, then the author has done a great job with the characters, the chemistry and the storyline. Jonathan and Christiana captured my attention, and I liked very much how genuine the two of them were, and the realistic conflicts they faced. I also like stories that give me a glimpse of worlds I know little about, and Elizabeth SaFleur’s familiarity with the Washington social world and politics adds another great layer to the story, bringing it to life. Though I felt the story lost some momentum as it went along, this was Elizabeth SaFleur’s very first book. When I see elements that good in someone’s first book, I know I’ll be trying her next ones, and enjoying the heck out of watching her talent evolve. A solid 3.5 stars.

Wow this was what I would call a 'holy shit, I can't believe how good this is,' kind of book. When you see the word 'dom', in any book you naturally expect some kinky, steamy, kind of book. Although, this book did have this in there, there was alot more

Christiana Snow is a college student who is a little unsure of herself and awkward at times. I have to stop for a moment to mention a very important factor, she's not a virgin! Most erotica books I have read always have the woman as an innocent being preyed upon by a dominant man. Speaking of dominant men--congressman Jonathan Brond, is a hot, handsome, melt-your-panties right off kind of man and there is an instant attraction when the two meet. For Jonathan, this is a bad idea. It's election year, she is only nineteen years old, he should walk away, but he doesn't, he wants her and offers her the opportunity to spend the summer with him. Will she take it? Ah, but of course, she will.

This is a story of love that just can't and shouldn't be.

This story falls between 3.5 and 4 stars for me. I would have loved to have given it more as I felt it could have been so much more, but I did feel the ending was so so corny and rushed. I love a HEA, but this I felt was a little too much. It's so sugar coated.
I loved the story about congress, the lobbying and the political agenda, backlash to public life. Being a Brit, I found this aspect of the story fascinating and in a way it transported me to another world.

This is a story of a 30 year old congressman, who's running for office, who's heavy into the BDSM lifestyle, but keeps this aspect of his live very secret...understandably!!!. He has a sub, who's he's liaising with, when Chrissie is first introduced to the life style, when she over hears the interaction/ play.
The congressman (brook)...meets Chrissie at a party, and falls head over heels for her. We are introduced to her introduction, and subsequent training into becoming the congressman's submissive.

I felt uncomfortable at first that she didn't consent to a lot of what she was introduced to, including her punishments, but after all the acts, the congressman goes over the fact he'd asked her if it was ok to perform certain acts...is this consent, did she understand what she was being asked, I wasn't totally sure.
She's not introduced to a safeword till well over half way through the book, which too concerned me till this point. But she wasn't made aware of how and why to used this safe word. It was a safe word given to her, not one of her choosing.
These aspects had me questioning the book throughout, and I would have felt better if they'd been dealt with at her introduction to the lifestyle.

But over all I did infact enjoy this book and the story line. It is well written and edited, and I will definitely read more from the author...she has promised more from Jonathan Brook and Christiana. I personally look forward to this, this story does not end on a cliff hang ending, but a promise for more...great.

I was given this book by the author for the BDSM TBR read, in exchange for an honest review.

Set in DC book of kinky corrupt politicians and materialistic socialites. This book had so much potential but it fell flat. The author definitely is knowledgeable of the dom/sub lifestyle, and portrayed it maturely in the book. I typically LOL during most scenes because they are so over the top, but they were done well. My problem, I found the actual plot woven through all the sex scenes lacked.

Spoilers ahead!!!!
Numerous times we were told the Dom had to be dedicated, loyal, respectful to his subs... yet... he went directly to Yvette after telling C he wanted an exclusive relationship. Later he French kisses her, and takes her to lunch at C’s place of work. It was all just brushed away, but doesn’t seem very loyal.

I also thought it was disappointing how the villain was just swept away and mental illness was blamed, even though nothing had happened to her. Did she suddenly develop a split personality? Totally unrealistic

This is a sweet and spicy story that kicks off the Elite Doms of Washington series and it's a corker of a start.
Congressman Jonathan Brond is the master of his own universe, someone who rules all aspects of his life with an iron fist making sure his desire/kink for sexual dominants is kept well away from the political word he inhabits and thrives in.

Let me tell you about Congressman Brond:

I wouldn't mind ratifying his amendment...

[image error] photo tumblr_ngwelor1QV1rnrdvpo3_250_zpsl8mfd1lp.gif

or deliberating over his body...

[image error] photo tumblr_ngcn06oyY71togmudo6_500_zps3ffivxa6.gif

and he could have access to my ballots any time...

[image error] photo tumblr_ngbq96X7Oy1spey9uo1_500_zpsrni23asf.gif

Anyway, you get the idea...

It's little wonder that Christiana, who has gone through her share of turmoil in her life despite being so young, succumbs to the sexy controlling Dom.
This story is surprisingly sweet and romantic but has enough spice to make your pulse race.
I'll definitely be checking out the following book in the series (which I hear will be out soon) and if you like your men dominating, sexy and 50 shady, this read is perfect for you!

** I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.**

Wow. Where do I start... This book, 'Lovely', was an exceptional book. It isn't just a story about sex and a dom/sub relationship. It is an erotic journey with a plot that went above and beyond what I expected. I loved the storyline. Well written. The way it played out was filled with such emotion and the growth of the characters was like a flower blossoming. I know, sounds lame, but I don't know how else to describe it. The characters were great. Yvette and Sarah play a big part in the way this story unfolded. Christiana is such a great character. I love her loyalty, her big heart and her overall beautiful soul. She grew into the person she was meant to be. Like I said, well written. The BDSM aspect was tastefully descriptive and well executed. I loved Jonathan's character. He is the epitome of a true Dom. I can not wait to read more of Jonathan and Christiana's story. I look forward to reading Yvette's story in 'Holiday Ties'. Elizabeth SaFleur did an amazing job in creating a book that will stay with me. A must add to your tbr list. Highly recommended.

Excellent Read

Political-type romances aren't usually my thing. I've heard a lot about this author and decided to give her a try.
Elite is very well written, the characters are smart and likeable, and the intimate scenes are well done.
For me personally, I'd hoped for more of a bang in the end, but the ending certainly fits the book and suits the characters.

This is the first story I’ve read by this author and the first in Elizabeth SaFleur’s series of Washington Doms.

Christiana, at college, young, very inexperienced sexually, but curious as to the snippet she overhears with one Congressman Jonathan Brond...okay, by end of the first couple of chapters I thought there’s a very familiar pattern to FSOG plot...so is this fanfic?

The Dom character, Jonathan, his past treatment of women, he uses them for sexual needs...maybe mutually, but their emotional involvement he does not want, they are disposed of when he’s inclined, and his non disclosures control people too...to start with I wanted to smack him upside his head! I’m a pacifist too!
Yet, as the story progresses the Congressman playing his political games with poise and aloofness...while appearing to care, well, his past gradually reveals his life’s damage too. How parental manipulation can harm their offspring with what the parents want for their child regardless of what the child wants.
By the end, which was somewhat rushed in my opinion...but I felt he was becoming a little more human and maybe more caring to Christiana.

Christiana, sex once, dives straight into intense BDSM sessions, no safeword...and isolated in a place no one knows about from her side. All the things newbies are told to not to do, she seems to do.
Christiana also has a lot of past mess and trauma in her life to deal with...and her best friend is the world’s worst example of the meaning of friend...but the writer has her reasons, and there are a great many Avery users in this world, and it worried me at the end, that in gun carrying countries so often the end actions actually occur :(

Overall, seems like a FSOG copy cat, but with elements of its own story plot is the impression I’m left with. Hence 2.5 to 3 is best it gets from me.
There’s some typos. Needed better editing.
Yet, I might read another of her books, see if they are better.

*** ARC PROVIDED BY THE AURHOR FOR AN HONEST REVIEW ***

After enjoying the surprise read of Holiday Ties I was very excited about meeting more Doms of Washington. And Lovely was more than lovely!!

Elizabeth writes in a detailed style and the tone took me a few chapters to get used to. But before I knew it, I was floating along reading page after page of the story, immersed in the scenes and characters she had crafted.

The slow burn between Jonathan and Christiana is enticing - you know there is an inevitability to it, but how they get there or what it will be like are questions you're rushing to answer.

There was certainly more than a little sizzle between Christiana and Jonathan. They were steaming hot!! Seeing Jonathan push Christiana's boundaries was both painful (there may have been a misty eye when he stripped her on the boat) but also beautiful.

At times though, the constant descriptive changes in the intimate scenes distracted rather than heated things up for me.

I was expecting this story to be more about the sexual relationship between the two characters. I wasn't expecting the twists and turns and the build of the 'Washington Dom's' world. It was great to see this from the first in a series of books. I normally need to read a couple before I'm invested in the series but I'm already looking forward to reading more about Yvette, Mark, Sarah and of course Jonathan and Christiana. If Elizabeth doesn't give me that I'm going to be cross!

A great read and an author I'm certain to keep going back to.

Christiana works hard, waitressing at the Oak brings excellent tips and every once in a while she delivers room service. Her best friend Ashley, on the other hand is part of all the drama and fund-raising that goes on in Washington, often recruiting Christiana to attend with her to fight off boredom.

When Christiana literally runs into Congressman Jonathan Brond at one such event, she doesn't realize until later that his is the voice she heard while delivering room service. A voice that had her wanting the domination the woman in that room was getting.

Unfortunately she restrains from pursuing any action on this because Ashley has set her sights on him. Ashley is a far more suitable companion for him, she has the money and the upbringing that would be required of a Congressman's companion or wife.

Jonathan on the other hand, only has eyes for Chris at least until he discovers her age. As a thirty year old congressman he really shouldn't be dallying with a nineteen year old.

A very interesting relationship develops behind the scenes of the normal Washington kerfuffle. Secrets and half truths, become a daily part of Chris' life.

Unexpected twists, kindle melting heat and a very interesting outcome.

Considering I’m rather partial to covers like this one, my appetite to read Elite was whetted, but what about the blurb? When I read billionaire politician and college student, what came to mind was the likelihood of a juicy scandal, making me want to read this erotic romance even more. Ahh, but was I in for a surprise or three! Never did I imagine there would be such steaminess and a plot so well-construed. SaFleur is a new author for me, her descriptive writing overflows with vivid scenes and literally evokes all the feels, be good or bad.

I had no problem with age difference between Jonathan Brond, a successful congressman and Christiana Snow, a student who can hardly make ends meet. He has a long term plan for the future; however, is it really his true vocation? His feelings for Christiana grow, making him put everything in perspective. But things aren’t as easy as they sound. Drop-dead gorgeous, Jonathan is a ladies man through and through. He charms the pants off even the most snobbish; nonetheless, his tastes in the bedroom are known to just a few of his trustworthy confidants. It’s all about being in the right mindset. That inborn talent he has to do right for his party and constituents is unquestionable but more importantly, to his father and to the family name. Hmm… steering clear of anything that could rock the boat becomes a cat and mouse game because all said and done, his every move is in the eyes of many and could well cause his downfall. The setting in Washington brings to light just how cutthroat US politics are, but I took the author’s poetic license into consideration to a certain degree and I'm still not sure whether I should adhere to it. So, did I like him? It took me a while to come round, I thought what he asked of Christiana which was bordering on selfish, a conundrum in itself. Could he have his cake and eat it? You will see!

Christiana. I couldn’t help falling for this timid gal and quite honestly, how she got managed to do what she did I found beyond mind-boggling. I won’t go into her family affairs as I have no wish to spoil the read for you. I will say this. She deserved the moon and the stars, and all the time the reader is kept guessing as to whether or not she’ll get what she’s looking for. And I hate saying this but I thought that in the equation of things, what she wanted was difficult, seeing as she was in a situation above her standing. There is no doubt that Jonathan confuses her. He’s rich, powerful and generous and can have anyone he wants. Why then would he lean toward her affections when her bestie is in the know-how and much better suited, beautiful, who has a jealous eye on him and would never be seen dressed in hand-me-downs like Christiana?

I loved how at no moment in the story there were no conflicting interests. She’s smitten with the man who she wants to please without demanding. He’ll try his best to make sure she’s kept out of the public eye even though I didn’t like what she had to support. Say no more!

Christiana’s best friend. Deary me! I hope you have the same sentiments as I did and want to strangle her with your Kindle charger cord! Avery will bring out the worst in you and definitely adds spice to the read. And she’s not the only one, either. A couple of characters made my blood boil to the point that I couldn’t carry on reading since I was literally seething with anger. Yes, dull moments don’t exist in this scorcher of a read!

Now down to the nitty-gritty. This is a very, but very erotic stand-alone. To be quite honest with you, it’s not even my chosen genre but I would be fibbing if I said I didn’t enjoy it. Yes! For me, what saved the day was the plot. It is strong, has a solid argument and never in a million years have I felt like a voyeur. Although it pains me to admit this to myself, the sex scenes weren’t difficult to read as the romance and suspense kept me involved throughout the story. SaFleur’s narrative explicitly expressed another level to me of love that has no boundaries in or out of the bedroom. Bravo ma’am!

Lovely by Elizabeth SaFleur is the story of Jonathan Brond, thirty-year-old congressman, who has short-term kinky relationships with women. He has a ten-year plan to clean his family name and serve his constituents. Brond, secretly and successfully, lives the BDSM lifestyle in Washington, D.C. where reporters are always looking for the dirt. His usual partners understand the need for secrecy and, while there might be rumors, no one confirms.

Enter Christiana Snow a struggling college student on summer break. She is working double shifts at a high end restaurant in a five-star hotel to pay her tuition. Christiana is hiding from a past that she can’t remember clearly. She is the adult to her alcoholic father and Washington reporter, who uses her and her friendship with a high powered DC society family.

Lovely is a well-written story with strong central characters. The plot is interesting and just when it seems like it is going down a predictable path there is a twist and then a turn. I fell in love with the characters; all of them. The good and the bad guys and girls advance the story and make it a fun read.

Jonathan is a strongly written character with a big heart—a big heart that he likes to hide. He is hot, successful, and dominate. Christiana is also well developed. She is young and forced to grow up fast because of her home life. As strong as she is Jonathan recognizes her submissiveness. Both characters are believable and the reader easily gets into their romance and the struggles surrounding their relationship.

The secondary characters are a great cast of characters. There are friends and enemies and it isn’t always easy to tell them apart. We learn enough about them to whet the appetite for the other books in the series. There is something about all these characters that draws me to them and makes me want more.

Elizabeth SaFleur is a good writer. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the ending, when the couple deals with some of the enemies, is somewhat unexpected and very rewarding. I recommend Lovely and I’m looking forward to more.

I gave this book 4.5 stars!

I don't even know where to start with this review because it was that good. It's starts kinda slow but then things start to heat up and keep getting better and better. Yes this book does have some D/S but nothing more than what you would do at home! From the moment we meet Johnathan you will fall in love with him. Christina it took me a little longer. This book has it all with the twist, turns, surprise and the emotions, you will not be disappointed.

Christina is a college student, home for the summer to working for tuition. When her best friend invites her to charity event, she literally runs into Congressman Johnathan. She feels like she wants to know more about the Congressman. Johnathan is up for re-election and has particular taste when it comes to his sexual partners. He finds that he can't stay or get his mind off of Christina know matter how hard he tries. When their secret love affair is about to be revealed will these two hang on to each other or be over?

This is the first book I have read from Elizabeth, but definitely want be my last.

Christina is nineteen years old and has been taking care of everything in her life for a long time. After her mother passed away it was just her and her father. She would fo everything around the house and have to pick her father up from drinking to much. Her best friend was Avery, a stuck up rich socialite, that I feel was mean throughout the book to Christina. Jonathan, hot congressman, fell for Christina the minute he meet her. Jonathan propositions Christina for a summer of finally having someone take care of her instead of the other way around. We get a summer of hot Dom submissive sex and will burn your kindle, but will this end at the end of the summer? In the true fashion of politics there will be backstabbing and blackmailing that gives this story a twist. This book does not have a cliffhanger but leaves it open for more on Jonathan and Christina plus it opens to more stories about the other characters in the book which I would love to read. I received a free copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review.
This is my first audible audio book. I used to listen to audio books years ago, when they were on cassettes. I rented them to listen to while I was at work and really enjoyed them then. But I have to say the narration of this book was very nice. It was not only extremely well written, it was nicely narrated. This is also my first book by Elizabeth SaFleur and I look forward to reading'listening to more. I enjoyed the story line and it flowed nicely and the characters were very well developed. Secondary characters played a very important role in the story and as the reader/listener, I felt a significant connection to then as well as to the main characters in the story. The story is a highly erotic one with strong BDSM themes as well as a bit of suspense. I have to say, it held my interest throughout the entire story. I look forward to delving into the additional books in this series.

Provided by the Author through the BDSM group on goodreads

This book started well and I appreciated the character development and detail. Towards the middle and end however I felt that the story line became pressured and was rushed. The ending was tied up so quickly and in such a neat bow.
I appreciate the voice of this author, the characters drew you into the story and were enjoyable. Would read from this author again.

There's much to like here for fans of 50 Shades of Grey. There's a very innocent young heroine, an older, rich, powerful man with a hot bod and confidence galore. Like 50 Shades they enter the world of BDSM, but unlike 50 Shades *this* heroine embraces BDSM with a 'where have you been all my life" enthusiasm. And while our hero doesn't have a dungeon room exactly, his house has some pretty eye-ball popping surprises. Heh-heh.

This was the first book of Elizabeth's I read. I loved it and was immediately drawn to Christina. Trying to make her way in Washington D.C. she runs across Jonathan. And the story begins. The twists and turns make this story a page turner. Will their relationship survive the political climate of D.C.?

Thank goodness it was free. Couldn’t finish it and could barely tolerate it; the plot, characters, and their development. To be quite frank, there has to be character development for it to be criticized. Yet another misogynistic romance novel hidden under the guise of being “all about the heroine”. There’s more than one way to bake a cookie and this wasn’t even close.

Ok
This is one of those instances where the story and characters start off so well and then they keep sliding down and down.
First comes h
I mean she was portrayed as someone shy but strong managing two jobs and a alcoholic father along with gravitating the Washington power arena with a bitch who is a so called best friend.
Then she meets the H and everything she has know or her brain cells stop working
She does what the H says, no question asked
She is rules by her bodily needs and keeps on fucking throwing herself at the H and pleading him not to leave her ever. Also she believes whatever her frnd says and does whatever she says to do never thinking why!!
I mean what i felt more bad about is that the H is meeting OW not sure for what but this lady never questions him on anything.
Also the way she requested the bitch frnd if hers to be forgiven even after everything speaks of her delusion and stupidity.
She really came across as pathetic and needy rather than strong

Now the H
You are attracted to the h agreed but also you don’t act on that attraction so in those circumstances it’s fine if you have relationships with the Ow
But really after you are in exclusive relationship with the the h how can u hold a nude OW in your arm and let you french kiss her, really?????? And this was completely shrugged off never came up
Plus relationships with your step sis and top of it the stupid h doesn’t feel anything with the revelation. I mean she practically seduced her step bro and mentored him in this type of relationship
Also lot of plot lines were unexplained in this
Why did the H feel leaving the h was better
Why did he suddenly agree to step down as a congressman when the whole story of him being der to correct the wrong his father did snd also to serve people was repeated again n again snd it just was swept off.

I mean no thank you ranting over
There were lots of of things I didn’t like it at all and irrespective of type of relationship between H and others what is done here
I didn’t even feel love
I think h loved the H but i suppose he was fond of her as she being such a great submissive but other than that nothing.

Elite: A Hot Billionaire Romance: Jonathan and Christina

Wow 😲😳 that was a very interesting story. Jonathan is a congressman and a Dominant. He sees Christina at a Gala in DC with her best friend Avery Churchill. Avery is wealthy. Her father is a judge and her mother comes from Old money 💰💰. Avery tried to run her friend's life. Jonathan decided he would see how submissive Christina is. He takes her away to his special home in Charlottesville to see if being submissive is something this 19 year old college student would be interested in. So this is their story. This story has BDSM scenes but what it has is a plot that is so twisted, I did not see CB coming. It was a really good book 📚📖🤗 in this the Elite Doms of Washington series. It was good, I highly recommend it.

DNF at 53%.
Scenes: meh
Story: terrible

MMC was not a good dom at all. Aftercare was sorely lacking and he broke at least one major rule (I suspect he was likely to break more if I had continued reading).

Being a dom is not just being dominant during sex smh. There is way more to it than that and I really didn’t get the impression that he understood that. Disappointing.
