"You can let me down easy, you know." "Huh?" he stated, "What are you talking about? "This is the part where you tell me you regret what happened between us. That you never want it to happen again. Where you can't believe you let it hap..." He crossed to me fast and kissed me hard. After coming up for air he sat me down in the chair, bent and looked me in the eye. "Shut up a minute," he breathed. *~~~~*. Rayna meets a man she finds attractive, but he's so much younger than her. Can she get past her insecurities to open up to him?
Brandon, on first sight, finds a woman he cannot get off his mind. Does he approach her, or continue to drive himself crazy?
I choose to start sharing my writing with more people just recently. It took me a long time to let many peruse my writing, but I became bold enough to put myself out there.
My ideas and stories may vary throughout different genres...so, never be afraid to venture into a different world with each different story; from short stories, to novellas, to full novels, the imagination runs free.
I hope that you can share in my love of writing, with your love of reading.
My high school teacher asked me why I wrote in the way that I did. My answer, "To escape." I wrote to escape my life. I wrote to pretend that I was in the world that I wrote about. If only for the time that it took me to finish a story, I got to be away.
Thanks to you all for giving me a chance to share, and please leave a review or rate if you like my creations!
I liked the premise of this age gap story. It was the narrative writing style that wasn't to my liking. I'm more of the let the characters tell their story. One of the best parts is the scene in the restaurant with crazy Sandi. The whole stalker thing bothered me because of truly how unhinged she was. I liked it, just my style as far as the telling of the story.
This was a nice love story with Brandon and Rayna. Their attraction was instant. They fit well together and the kids Randy and Reysha added a sweet bonus to their love story. I think CRAZY Sandi should never have gotten the chance to get as close as she did, and especially when Rayna was shot. Truly glad they got thru it all and became a family in the end. Loved Freddy's friendship with Brandon, and how he was a special part of their group. Freddy mentions finding his special love at the end of this book, however I would love to read the journey taken to reach his HEA.
I enjoyed this book. It kept me interested to the very end. I liked that the character’s personality’s worked so well with the other’s. My favorite character has to be the son, I absolutely loved how logical and serious he was and it made me laugh.
I have read this book so many times. I get emotional every time and the true romantic that I am fills my heart with so much hope for my own love life. The line "Can I keep you" has stuck with me.
I liked this older woman younger man book! They liked each other from the beginning and was there for each other. The only thing I didn't like was that the CRAZY ex was not mentioned again! It was said that she had court in a year, but the story advanced a year and nothing was said about her. She made their life miserable and it would have been nice to know that she received a twenty year sentence. Just saying!
