Transition: From Forgotten to Forgiven and Highly Favored

Rate this book
She made one mistake. Leaving him under the cover of darkness to escape the consequences of her actions would spiral into something so horrific that it cost the innocent lives of many. What she had done was enough to put her in an early grave, but what her husband did was downright diabolical. Time after time, the women and children paid the price, when men made decisions without consulting God first. The ForgottenThe women in this story resonate with Naleighna Kai because she also suffered the pangs of her mistakes. Going from one place to another to find safety, landed her in the grip of someone who did not see her value; someone who tried to end the game before she realized it was being played. The Forgiven and Highly FavoredYears of healing and working towards forgiveness brought a unique set of earth angels to help Naleighna in the process. She was finally able to put her pain on the page; the page became her passion, and the passion became her purpose.ABOUT THE MERRY HEARTS INSPIRATIONAL SERIESSome use God's word to justify domestic violence, imprisonment, slavery, and systematic racism rather than preach peace, joy, salvation, and love. Throughout the Merry Hearts Inspirational series, readers will experience scripture as never before. Authors take one-dimensional Biblical characters and breathe new life into them to become relevant for the reader. Christ performed astounding miracles through them, and following His resurrection, He appeared to the women first.Throughout scripture, God's love for women and everyone—no matter ethnic background or gender—may be found, from Genesis to Revelation. I’d never considered the Levite (in Judges) in terms of the fact that had he made a different choice, he could have changed the course of history. What resonated was how the actions of men spread ripples that led to dislocation and war. And that continues today.

Also, the disaster that can unfold when we plan, then tell God about it. In a humorous and sometimes painful take on this biblical story, we get a glimpse of life in historical times.

The author also offers a frank, eye-opening, and painful look into her past that makes me grateful for the people God provided on the journey, as well as creative outlets, in times of distress when healing was needed.

Pick up this book, you won’t regret the time spent between the pages.

A Hard and True Transition!

How horrifying is it that men would rather sacrifice a woman, who is “questionable” than the man whose hide was wanted! Then turn around and cause a war behind a lie, that was never questioned! And the kicker is that instead of seeking God’s direction and answer, they instead told Him what was going to happen, like He just needed to co-sign! My, my, my! How many of us truly seek Him for answers and directions only to go do “our” thing instead and have to go back to God and listen!! Thank You, Naleighna, for making it plain!

It was heartbreaking and hard to hear about the horrible trials and tribulations the author endured during her formative years! I’m glad to know that peace and well-being is in her life, her son’s life, her niece and some family!

It truly takes a tribe and these ladies have that and are making it work! This is another excellent book from this series! I highly recommend this book and the entire series! Blessings, Naleighna!! 💜
