This author is also published under: M. O'Keefe.

Molly O'Keefe has always known she wanted to be a writer (except when she wanted to be a florist or a chef and the brief period of time when she considered being a cowgirl). And once she got her hands on some romances, she knew exactly what she wanted to write.

She published her first Harlequin romance at age 25 and hasn't looked back. She loves exploring every character's road towards happily ever after.

Originally from a small town outside of Chicago, she went to university in St. Louis where she met and fell in love with the editor of her school newspaper. They followed each other around the world for several years and finally got married and settled down in Toronto, Ontario. They welcomed their son into their family in 2006, and their daughter in 2008. When she's not at the park or cleaning up the toy room, Molly is working hard on her next novel, trying to exercise, stalking Tina Fey on the internet and dreaming of the day she can finish a cup of coffee without interruption.

❝You’re allowed to flounder, Lucy.❞
She smiled into his face, cupping his cheek in her soft hand. ❝So are you, Jeremiah.❞

🅾🅺🅰🆈 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗪𝗕𝗢𝗬'𝗦 𝗨𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗪𝗔𝗦… unexpectedly meh. And what I mean by that is, well… I was expecting to feel things, but instead I was left skimming. Whereas book one left me feeling annoyed, frustrated, swoony, and everything in between, TCUF left me feeling… meh. Uninspired. Bored.

✧ ᴛʜᴇ ᴍᴀɪɴ ᴄᴏᴜᴘʟᴇ, ʟᴜᴄʏ ᴀɴᴅ ᴊᴀᴄᴋꜱᴏɴ, ᴅɪᴅ ɴᴏᴛʜɪɴɢ ꜰᴏʀ ᴍᴇ ✦
➜ The kids that Jackson unexpectedly had to take care of did nothing for me

➜ The romance between Lucy and Jackson, did nothing for me

➜ Lucy and Jackson as individuals once again, did nothing for me

➜ It honestly seemed like Jackson and Lucy as characters did nothing for the author, because…

✧ ꜱᴀɴᴅʀᴀ-ᴡᴀʟᴛᴇʀ ᴡᴇʀᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ʀᴇᴀʟ ꜱᴛᴀʀꜱ ᴏꜰ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱʜᴏᴡ ✦
➜ The SandraWalter romance was clearly the priority

➜ Walter had more "hero moments" than Jackson did

➜ Sandra calling Lucy out on her BS was so satisfying, I can't even

➜ It's kinda a problem when your side-characters appear more important than your actual "main characters"

➜ SandraWalter one thousand percent saved the book for me, but…

✧ ᴛʜɪꜱ ʙᴏᴏᴋ ᴡᴀꜱɴ'ᴛ ꜱᴏʟᴇʟʏ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ꜱᴀɴᴅʀᴀ-ᴡᴀʟᴛᴇʀ ✦
Thus, I can't help but wonder...

𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗗𝗜𝗗𝗡'𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗔 𝗪𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗦??

I would much rather have gotten a full book about SandraWalter versus JacksonLucy.

🅼🅴🅷🅷🅷 𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬, 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗘, 𝗕𝗨𝗧… it was kinda forgettable as well. In all honesty, I probably would've given TCUF two stars if not for Sandra and Walter. I think if you liked book one, then you'll probably like this one. However, don't go in expecting Jack and Mia levels of angst, passion, and love.

If yearning was a book.
Also, I'm weak in the knees for single dads—in romance.
And I get light headed for brooding cowboys—in romance.
The broken family dynamics here were endearingly cute and emotional at times. Great portrayal of Jeremiah's nephews and grief. I also really enjoyed the side story about Lucy's mom, Sandra, finally working things out with Walter.
Another winner from Molly O'Keefe for me.

Stellar read!

I love Molly’s books and the woman never writes a bad story.
This one is no exception. While Lucy drove me absolutely up a wall with that mouth of hers, I fell crazy hard for Jeremiah and his nephews. Add in Sandra, Mia and Lucy’s mother and Walter Jacks father, it was just perfect. We get a couple glimpses of Jack and Mia as a bonus. I really didn’t want this one to end.
A fantastic story from Molly.
If you haven’t read Jack and Mia’s story, that’s a must read. What an emotional roller coaster that was.
