Rocky likes to write in the sun and with a glass of Australian Chardonnay wine in his hand, nothing makes him feel more at home. Based between North East Brazil and Andalucia in Spain he gets to grips with his stories, bringing them to print for his loyal readers who are split equally between those who love and those who hate the books... but as Rocky says, 'it's only human nature... I love you all... jus sayin...'

Warwick said... 'So appallingly written that it almost goes full circle:... one star for this – but in many ways, a star more glorious than the constellations of far greater works of literature.'

Sarah said... 'What a great find! I had been looking for a how-to that struck a chord with me for some time. What better role model for a young woman looking to make it in the business world than Belinda, a strong, empowered career woman headed straight to the top of the pots and pans industry. This manual includes helpful tips on business attire, negotiation techniques, and teamwork building. A must-read for managers and employees alike.'

Belinda Blinked 1 is his first novel of the series and Rocky published his second, Belinda Blinked 2 in summer 2016. Belinda Blinked 3 was published in late May 2017 and since then Rocky has annually published Belinda Blinked 4 and 5 and 6. He's currently writing Belinda Blinked 8; and 9. Rocky has also self published the Belinda Blinked series as paperbacks via Amazon. These are in addition to the original e books.

October 2016 saw the publication of the collaborative effort My Dad Wrote a Porno book between some London media dudes and Rocky based on the words and podcast of Belinda Blinked 1! With rave reviews it's worth a read and is now published worldwide...

The Belinda Blinked Books 1,;2; 3; 4; 5; and 6 have been picked up by the above mentioned London media types and are being distributed as a podcast called My Dad Wrote a Porno with over 330 million... yes 330,000,000 worldwide downloads which has made it an unprecedented success! Its free on your fav podcast app...

Undaunted the London Media Dudes took a lost chapter from the Belinda Blinked series on worldwide tour. USA, UK, Europe and Australia were venues. They sold out all the iconic venues such as the Sydney Opera House, New York Town Hall, The Royal Albert Hall London and The Orpheum Los Angeles. It was so good HBO have commissioned a 60 minute TV special. So if you missed the live tour why not join them for sixty minutes of sidesplitting mirth in 2019. See the podcast and book characters come to life on the stage and learn things about the human body Rocky never thought you knew..... Another world tour in 2022 is now on sale and has a similar format but with new even more dodgy material....

So why don't you buy the books, join in the fun and read along with 'team porno'?' Find the podcast on iTunes or Acast under "My Dad Wrote a Porno" Follow the buzz on twitter or visit Rocky on twitter @FlintstoneRocky

There's also a website www.BelindaBlinked.com and www.RockyFlintstone.com where you can discover more pieces about Rocky and Belinda. Sign up on the website and Rocky will send you extra material which has never been published. jus sayin...

And so the inimitable Belinda Bounty Blumenthal saga finally comes to its triumphant (and so very terrible) conclusion. It has taken me years to reach this point, a period wherein I have ridden the seas of time and adventure, Belinda and the wider Pots and Pans industry by my side. She has been there while I lived in Spain, Holland, England, and Northern Ireland. Thick and thin. Brexits and pandemics. Weddings and funerals. First Solos and Final Line Checks.

I always give these “books” one star. It’s a kind of private joke (not a very funny one, that I’ll grant you): they are terrible books, but terrible they are supposed to be. That’s the point of them. I’m just playing My Dad Wrote a Porno at their own game by pretending that I buy the idea that Rocky wrote them with intentions of pure earnestness (I think we all know that’s not the case). To give the podcast’s source material any more than a single gold star would be to shatter the illusion, and why would I want to do that?

The truth is that the podcast has been a comforting and hilarious friend for a long while now, and I’m sad to see it go. At times when the whole world seemed to have fallen apart, it made me laugh so hard that I nearly wet myself. It even inspired me to write some of my own bad pornographic literature: The Rogue and the Black Thorn from Innsbruck: A Saga of Sexpionage Splintering Deep Into the Alpine Glaciers of the Soul. A Great Work, if I say so myself, available from nowhere near you and for the price of “forget about it!” All I’ll say is that the usual writing advice is “write what you know”, and as someone with a not-at-all confused sexual identity—a sexual identity perhaps best described by the term “bi-[vaguely]-curious-[leaning-towards-homoromantic]-asexual” (is that really so hard to understand??)—, I think it’s interesting that my creative pseudo-erotic writing yields results not dissimilar to those of the big man Rocky himself…

I bid you adieu, Belinda. Adieu, and best of luck on your travels, you bodaciously bustily-breasted triple-B branded businesswoman. I shall see you on the dark side of the tri oxy brillo range.

How do I even begin to rate Belinda Blinked "novels"? Collectively, we've been listening to this book for the past 10-11 weeks via the My Dad Wrote a Porno podcast; Jamie Morton, whose father ("Rocky Flintstone") actually wrote this barely-researched, poorly-edited, and occasionally baffling erotic tale of intrigue and suspense, narrates this series of books while his friends Alice and James listen and comment. It's one of the funniest experiences ever, like MST3K for bad erotica, but it's also weirdly cathartic and, dare I say, involving?

I believe it was in Book 4 when I realized I was actually caught up in the (almost completely nonsensical) story; there's some sort of accident, and we worry that Belinda (the, uh, titular star of this book series) might be dead. Like the readers who clambered onto London's docks for the next installment of Little Dorritt, I waited extremely anxiously for the next installment. My thoughts ACTIVELY turned to whether Belinda would be all right.

Now here we are in Book 6, which gets off to a somewhat lugubrious start. I worried that, since this was the first of the books to be written after Rocky was aware of the podcast, the story would be more outrageous and/or less bonkers. Nope. Rocky has a style (?) that has evolved over the years, but he remains true to himself, his characters, and his readers. Yes, there is a full-on facial in the last chapter, but there's also such a reversal of fortune at the end that I was left genuinely shocked. Like, this ridiculous story I shouldn't care about that features so much perverse sex (furries! rimming! basically, all the good stuff!) and insane description that the shock ending shouldn't matter ... but it DOES.

This experience, honestly, is like reading serialized novels - it's a filthy version of the Saturday Evening Post, or The Green Mile. I have sincerely enjoyed the experience of firing this podcast up every Monday and I'm going to miss it for the months it's not around. They haven't been definitive about Book 7 yet, but I'm hopeful. I need to know what happens next!

Belinda Blinked Book 6 is the traditional gamechanger which every author has to navigate before climbing the mountain in front of the mountain they really want to climb. A book with hints of fresh sea air whiffing through the musty fabric of decadence and time worn traditions, BB6 is all about change... something even the best of us would like to avoid. But remember, this is all about Belinda and Belinda doesn't do procrastination. Sales directors come and go, the problem is, where do they go to and if they do go, can they survive the change. Many critics say this is the last book in the series and I can see their point, but what does an author do when they've written another two books and has another two on the drawing board... jus askin...

Delightfully awful, as always. I’m kinda glad this whole spy storyline has come to a close now (we can only hope) and I look forward to seeing Belinda become the villain of her own story, mwahahaha! Hope we get to see more of Ian Snail in future instalments.

So sad this series is over, through the laughter and confusion the story wrapped up in an amazing way . I will miss the sex crazed world of Belinda!

The plot is actually much neater and cleaner than in Rocky's previous works, even though the erotica is just as silly as always. The ending made my jaw drop, it's the perfect continuation of Belinda's story.

My Dad Wrote A Porno proves, once again, that it is the most hilarious podcast of them all, the podcast of all podcasts.

You either die a pots and pans hero or live to see yourself become the pots and pans villain. I can't track anything that happened in chapters 1-9, but here's what I know for sure: Ian Snail is some meta witchcraft and I'm here for it. The radio show is MDWAP. You guys. We are Ian Snail. We were always Ian Snail.

Belinda never fails in her ridiculous adventures in the high stakes world of pots and pans. Despite saving the company she is demoted and defects to their biggest business rivals. Just when you think Rocky can't possibly write any more cringeworthy erotic gibbering he pulls something spectacular out of the bag.

It had a “rocky” start IMO but true to form Rocky delivered a completely off the wall adventure and I can honestly say I am more excited to see where book 7 takes us than I was between books 3&4. This may be less of a cliffhanger than 3 was, but it’s far more compelling.

More spy story than an erotic novel - Belinda's tattoo gets an explanation - a very random one!! Her boss from Steeles, Pots and Pans takes a 'U' turn in my opinion - he isn't very nice to our Belinda :( But she gets her revenge - alls fair in business!! Go Belinda!

I’ve listened to it through My Dad Wrote a Porno because that is the only way you can “read” these books! This was the best for me so far. I laughed so hard and this one had so many twists and turns! Just loved it...

I need to add this because I'm so behind on my Goodreads challenge...

I can't even remember what happened but suffice to say I mainly listen to these out of habit now, nothing will top the earlier seasons of this podcast, it's all a bit *vague handwave* now.
