How do we determine the difference between virtuous and immoral?
I found myself asking this over and over as I lay awake at night contemplating the consequences of one fatal mistake.
The lines are blurred between reality and my darkest desires while I fight the monsters in the shadows to protect the innocent around me.
Now I’m standing face-to-face with the three biggest monsters of all. Three devious, demented, and psychotic men who would do anything to see me break.
Ace Lennox, Theon Watson, and Blais Monroe are the definition of sinners. A normal person would see them and run. I’m anything but normal.
Their torture and torment bring out the darkness looming under my skin. Wickedness I’ve been trying to keep locked away for years is threatening to escape.
If I let it consume me, there’s no turning back.
The only question is:
Do I fight to be a saint or do I accept that I was born to be a sinner?
Blood of the Saints is a dark reverse harem standalone!
Trigger Warning: This book contains detailed sex scenes which may include dub-con or rough sex. This book also contains extreme violence, torture, and talk or flashbacks of abuse. This book is dark and recommended for 18+
I have seen this book compared to den of vipers. Aside from blood and torture, there is no comparison. This book lacks the character development and the emotion. Theon takes the time to get to know the FMC, but that’s about it. Speaking of her, she is probably the dumbest FBI agent ever in existence. And I got so sick of her “I should be horrified/scared/angry but I’m so turned on.” Nearing the end, I mostly skimmed. There were tons of sex scenes that actually got pretty old. I was mostly glad when it was over.
I tried so SO hard to read this...to finish this...to LIKE this. Reading the blurb it has everything I like in a book so it's something I should have enjoyed, and check the reviews! They're so high! And so many!
So why couldn't I get into it???!! It took me over 4 days to trek thru 47%?
It started off well. It held promise...but the grip slowly loosened and me and I started to look at my kindle with deep sighs and resignation instead of joy or anticipation. It felt like I was dragging myself thru quicksand sinking with each step. The story didn't seem to hold my attention. I didn't enjoy it as I was reading it, I didn't find myself wanting to know how it ends. I didn't feel a connection to any of the characters...
I honestly don't know what happened here. I guess sometimes there's just a book or author you don't gel with. I'm not sure if it's the writing as like I say the reviews are amazing. It's just little me here with the weird review!!
You know that meme with that baby goat trying to bunt that dog? And doing a bad job? It’s titled “Incompetent Goatling tries to murder dog”… it’s what came to mind when I think of Zamira. She’s probably the most useless FBI agent I’ve ever read about. How did she pass the entrance exams? At every turn she was messing up. She’s lucky she’s hot because she’s really got nothing else going for her. I cringed at every time she screwed up, then at her inner self deprecating monologue was eyecrossingly annoying. Yet despite all this she had the most insane amount of confidence that she was gonna “succeed”… the only reason she wasn’t dead fifty times over was because they thought she was hot. I’m giving it three stars because I can always appreciate someone’s work. I didn’t feel any real connection between Z and her beaus, it felt rushed. Z- “I’m a bada** FBI agent the bad guys will tremble to behold!” Also Z- “these bad guys are hot. I can’t ignore my feelings. They’re just too powerful. I’m in love with them!” …. Ugh come on. Please.
Oh my gosh I don’t even know where to start.. This book is so intense & so freak’n good!! If you love Dark Romance then your definitely going to love this book!! There were so many twists & turns I was on an emotional roller coaster.. I couldn’t get enough of this book.. I was drawn in at the beginning & just couldn’t put it down.. Zamira is such a strong amazing woman freak’n badass that can take anything thrown her way.. everything she goes through only makes her stronger! She’s freak’n amazing loved her character so much!! & oh my gosh don’t even get me started on the three psycho alpha males that are in this amazing book! Ace, Theon, & Blais.. 💕 Aahhh couldn’t get enough.. you can’t help but fall in love with each of them in their own way.. they will have you drawn into this book wanting more.. Just sooo freak’n good!! It’s a Must Freak’n Read!! Love this book so much!! 🥵🔥💜🖤
This is the best book I’ve read all year. Zamira is a bada$$ who goes undercover unknowingly that all the odds are stacked against her from the start. I love Blais , Ace and Theon in that order because I love me some psychos 😂 The twists and turns kept me reading and just when you think you’ve got it all sussed out along comes another twist. I loved this so much I’ve bought the paperback. I don’t have any triggers but anyone who does should check the authors blurb please don’t go into this book lightly it will shock you.
FBI agent under cover in Cincinnati meets club owners, torturer vigilantes. while i generally like romantic suspense and thrillers, this one was overly long and drawn out and little plot progression for an inordinately long read. I liked the characters, at least from what i read but lost interest in the minutia of day to day. DNF 10%
This was an amazing book! This was something different and something that was an outstanding read. The characters were fantastic and the storyline was unique. I really could not put the book down. This is a must read!
Nahhhh this book was not what it was trying to be. I really wanted a good corrupting the FMC storyline but this was just sad.
First of all, this girl had been trained to go undercover but is not smooth at all. She was clocked as an agent the first time she stepped foot into their club, and those watching her knew her target immediately. And speaking of that--how is it that we're expected to believe the FBI can't accurately fake the fake IDs they give their undercover operatives? That was the entire basis for them looking further into this woman and it was contrived.
Also why do they care about this random woman? Sure they're infatuated with her looks, but they're also hellbent on catching the guy who just landed in their laps for a years-long revenge plan, but supposedly they put that on pause to look into and later kidnap a random woman because her ID is fake. They have no idea what she wants except that she's interested in their target (something they interfered with and they've been pursuing her since, not the other way around), and instead of observing her for more information they decide to kidnap a federal agent to torture her because she might be onto them??? When did she give any indication she was after them? They weren't even on her radar until they kept putting themselves in front of her.
Ok and our introduction to these guys was their torture and killing of a guy because he was a rapist, and we also find out that they're doing all of their killing because they're on a warpath to find the man to beat and raped and then murdered the sister of one of the MMCs.
And that same brother of the murdered girl, after kidnapping the FMC, but before he even knows that she's turned on by the torture, thinks to himself,
"It might be nice to fuck her right before we kill her, though. I could come deep inside her sweet pussy as I slit her throat."
...he then continues to toe this line between wanting to fck her and then kill her (which is rape btw) or just torture her, including repeating this sentiment a few times. He's also the MMC responsible for the dub-con warning because while the reader sees that the FMC is actually into it when he forces himself on her, HE doesn't know that, and he ends it with, “Good girl. Don’t ever tell me no again.”
I'm not opposed to finding dub-con in a book, and that isn't my issue. My issue is that I get that these guys are supposed to be morally grey characters, but you cannot have them out here ending lives for actions they themselves consider performing and still expect me to fall for the character eventually.
“We are not like them. They hurt and kill innocent people with no repercussions. We may get away with our crimes, but they aren’t even close to being innocent, they’re the scum of the earth. They deserve what we do to them.”
Allllll of this when they spent the majority of the book brutalizing, nearly drowning, shooting, and utterly destroying an innocent woman who gave them no indication she was after them, instead of focusing on their real target who was RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM, because for some reason they were infatuated with her.
And after they've falling in love with her instantly (literally at first sight for one of the MMCs), she's immediately forgiving all of the ways they tortured her and tried to kill her because they've unlocked her inner bad girl or something. Please. There wasn't near enough character development for everything this book tried to be.

Denver Rose brings you Dark Romance with kidnapping in this book. Denver has you hooked from the very start with Blood of the Saints. The characters were so real I felt like I was in the book with them living through the scenes. The things Ace, Blais and Theon put Zamira through had me feeling all sorts of hot. Learning about the characters pasts and the reasons why they are the way they are had me in tears. It took me just over 2 days to read this book, it was long, but it didn't feel like it. There was so much going on, I was hooked. If you like Dark Romance with Kidnapping, this is for you. Take heed of the trigger warnings because Denver is not lying. It's a lot, but I was here for it. Dark, Emotional and gritty - I'll feel this book for months to come. It for sure is one of my favourite books of the year so far.
If I hadn’t glanced at the page number I don’t think I would have believed that this book was as long as it was. I was completely engrossed in this book from beginning to end. I feel like there wasn’t a single lull and I was constantly entertained. Whether it was wanting to know the past of all the characters, wanting to know what would happen next, who is going to make the next move, I was just loving the direction this book was taking.
I love a good psycho and this book had three, each with their own level of crazy. I don’t think I could pick just one but usually the more unhinged the better. So this book catered beautifully to me. To make it even better, I love a good backstory with some character development and this book gave me backstory. Not a ton of character development but there was some relationship development and some character development so I’ll take it.
I knew there was going to be some twisted happily ever after, or at least as happily as this could get. A few bits of the ending I guessed but it didn’t take away from the overall feel or my feelings towards the book. It was dark, it was graphic and it probably isn’t for the faint of heart but I really enjoyed this standalone. I’m happy they didn’t expand on it because I really do think that it fit in this concise package. A great read, highly recommend.
Gente a mulher é ridicul4.
A autora claramente tentou copiar Den of Vipers mas atirou no próprio pé. 🤡
Holy Boringness 💤 I don’t think I’ve ever looked so many times at how long was left on a book. This book was far too long & as time went on it just got worst & worst. From the blurb this book had potential but it just didn’t work for me. Besides being way too long, there were so many things that made absolutely ZERO sense. She’s an FBI agent who was somehow involved in her husband’s murder even though she wasn’t convicted and the FBI still took her on? Next you put the girl undercover but don’t remove her from the database just in case someone happened to look into her! They should have never been able to find out she was an agent. Then the fake ID, you’re telling me the FBI couldn’t make a fake good enough that Joe Smoe figured out it was a fake just from owning a nightclub? You’ve got to be kidding me! & I guess whoever didn’t hide the fact that she was in the FBI also didn’t hide the husband’s case thoroughly enough because why were they able to find that out?! Also she’s suppose to be trained but yet didn’t know how to choke someone out properly?! Common, the inconsistencies were everywhere! That part needed a ton more research 🧐 I also have a more pet peeve with the overuse of nicknames, I should of DNF’d but I’m a sucker 🤷🏻♀️

Bloody Brilliant! This book is gritty, seductively dark, and all things deprived.
Zamira is an FBI agent sent undercover to find out about a series of unsolved disappearances. While searching a lead she gets put in the cross hairs of the Saints. She won’t go down without a fight.
Ace, Blais, and Theron are on the warpath. When Zamira catches their eye, they know she has answers and they’ll get them by ANY means necessary. What they don’t count on are the feelings she stirs up.
These characters are tormented and depraved. The back and forth between them is killer. The secrets, the twists, the absolute craziness of it all will reel you in and spit you out.
If you love psycho sexy men, blood play, wickedly hot scenes and RH then Blood of the Saints is 100% worth your time.
Having read the Denver Rose duo's work before I couldn't wait to get into another one of their books! From the moment that this one was announced i could not contain my excitement for it! The teasers had me even more excited for it! I picked it up as soon as i could and got into it quickly. I enjoyed this story so much!
Right from the prologue this story pulled me in! Zamira, Blais, Theon, and Ace's journey isn't an easy one. I really liked the way it kept me on my toes and how it was dark. The heat between these characters was blushworthy. I wasn't sure how everything was going to play out which had me glued to my kindle even more.
With Blood of the Saints, The Denver Rose duo have created a great and addictive read! If you haven't checked out their work yet you are missing out!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from the authors*
I received an ARC copy in exchange of my honest review.
This is not the first and it will not be the last book that I read from Denver Rose. This dark reverse harem romance is just the kind of book that I enjoy anytime and any day because it combines everything we love in a dark romance with just the perfect side of RH and a lot of spice (pay attention to triggers). We love a badass female mc that can overcome anything while also being vulnerable just under the surface.
I personally don’t like to spoil the whole story in a review so if you love RH, dark romance, twisted minds, badass female lead, this is the book for you.
Denver Rose brings us a book of beautiful psychos! An awesome story told beautifully. Written with complex characters and plot twists that keep you turning pages throughout. This book will absolutely become a favourite. Don't miss out on this book! Trigger warning: please be aware and read trigger warnings.
Another fantastic book form this author I was literally drawn in right form the start right till the end . This book is dark and twisted just the way I like it . I don’t want to give anything away but there are some triggers warning that not for everyone. Definitely looking forward to warm this author has next !!!!
It’s long but once you dive in the story flies by. Z’s time in captivity seemed to go on longer than it needed to to further the story, but that’s just me being nit picky. I didn’t connect to the main characters the way I would have liked. There’s just something lacking with them that I can’t place my finger on. That didn’t stop me from enjoying the book though. I loved the dark and 🌶🌶spicy🌶🌶relationship between Zamira and the Saints. There’s lots of gory action and a couple of of twists. I like that it’s a stand alone and I don’t have to wait for a series to be finished. Rating 4.25
☆Captivity ☆Anti-heroes ☆Torture and Extreme Violence ☆Strong Female Protagonist
DNF at 75% which considering this book is almost 700 pages means I read 500+ pages of this. Honestly.. I did not like it. Maybe I’m burned out on this genre, or maybe it was kinda way too drawn out. Like a lot of repeating the same thing over and over.. which would explain 700 pages. Not. A. Fan.
Blood of the Saints by Denver Rose is a standalone dark reverse harem romance.
The book comes with a Trigger Warning: "This book contains detailed sex scenes which may include dub-con or rough sex. This book also contains extreme violence, torture, and talk or flashbacks of abuse, domestic violence, and suicide. This book is dark and recommended for 18+"
All I can say is WOW! Denver knocked this book out of the park! I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The chemistry between Zamira, Ace, Theon, and Blais was off the charts! I loved that we got all four of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I would HIGHLY recommend this book if you like dark romances, reverse harem romances, captive romances, or romantic suspense. This is definitely one of my top reads for 2021.
Well this book took some turns I most definitely didn't see coming! Wow, what a thrill ride this was. I can definitely say this book took me by surprise. Especially, after I was thinking I knew what this book was about and what was going to happen after about the third chapter. I have never been happier to be wrong.
Dark, intense, twisted, gritty, spicy, captivating… just all the dang words… this book will draw you in and not let you go. An it’s a thiccck one so it’s going to keep you gripped for a while. An FBI agent Zamira with a secret dark past goes on her first undercover operation only to be discovered and captured by three anti heroes that will also capture all you psycho lovers hearts. Our FMC Zamira is sassy, fierce, super stubborn and beyond defiant which really riles our boys up. Ace, Blaise and Theon each have their own level of psycho but when you read about their heartbreaking stories you soon understand the bloodlust they have and how they became who they are. There’s so many secrets to discover that you just can’t help but keep reading this book well into the night. Don’t expect to do anything or get much sleep with such an incredible dark and spicy read.
