During her latest assignment, she uncovered more than she ever hoped for: Bo Camden.
He was just like his father, right?

Before becoming a romance writer, Danielle was a body double for Heidi Klum and a backup singer for Adele. Now, she spends her days trying to play keep away from Theo James who won’t stop calling her or asking her out.
And all of this happens before she wakes up and faces reality where in fact she is a 50 something mom with grown kids, she's been married longer than Theo’s been alive, and now get her kicks riding a Harley.
As far as her body, she can thank, Ben & Jerry’s for that as well as gravity and vodka. But she says that she could never be Adele’s backup since she never stops saying the F-word long enough to actually sing.
Danielle writes about kickass women with even better shoes and the men that try to tame them (silly silly men).

The Iron Ladies are back and doing what they do best by helping a woman in need. This time Sunday gets a little more than she’s bargained for. What a great group of ladies that I’d love to be friends with. Vengeance couldn’t be any more sweeter than with Sweet Vengeance!

Sweet Vengeance by Danielle Norman is book #14 in the Iron Orchids series. This is
Sunday Prescott and Bennett (Bo) Camden’s story.
Sunday works as a computer genius aka hacker for the Iron Orchids. She and the Iron Ladies take on a new client, Traci Camden, who believes her husband is embezzling money from their company. The son, Bennett (Bo) thinks the same and heads to the Feds regarding his beliefs. Sunday is determined to put the bad guy away and ends up meeting Bo. When that happens, fireworks go off. The chemistry is sizzling hot between them but they definitely clash. Oh they they do not tell the other what the other person is working on. Mistruths and Misdirections abound. I enjoy watching how they square off against the other and sparks burn. The chemistry is fantastic. Also this family drama/ intrigue/suspense is really a great addition that adds layers to the plot and romance. Love the sassy sweet interactions between the main characters. Love love the strong heroines and the alpha male hero. Fabulous story with a outstanding romance read!!!

4.5 Star review of Sweet Vengeance (Iron Orchids #14) by Danielle Norman

I love this series about strong feisty women who are not afraid to put themselves out there for those women who need their help.

This is Sunday Prescott and Bennett (Bo) Camden’s story. Sunday is the computer genius of the the Iron Orchids who is usually found behind the scenes, happy to let others take the lead. I loved Sunday, in fact I haven’t met an Iron Orchid woman I didn’t like or admire.

Bo is definitely an alpha, used to wielding power and money. Sunday and Bo are thrown together when they begin surveillance together on Bo’s father after his mother seeks the Iron Orchids help to investigate suspicious happenings at her business.
Is Bo involved in the issues facing his mother or is he innocent?

As Sunday and Bo work together, sparks fly and the attraction between them builds. There is humour, heat, suspense and intrigue as Ms. Norman delivers another well written and strong story.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A romance that I devoured =D
One of my favorite books with a slightly geeky but adorable and badass heroine (I loved her tabloid obsession =D) and a grumpy but cute hero (I loved their first meeting =D) with a plot around sex trafficking / embezzlement (I was super happy to see the continuation of the plot that had started with Bridget's book !!)
In short, a light and sexy romance to read without moderation =D
Danielle Norman's Iron Orchids series is freaking amazing, I LOVE reading about strong women and Sweet Vengeance is about Sunday Prescott that is a part of the Iron Ladies, a super hush hush security firm that helps ladies in need on the down low. She is a computer wizard and is typically more on the shy side until her next assignment when she has to work with Bo, we see just how strong this amazing lady is and sparks freaking FLY between between the two of them.
I love how real Danielle Norman's characters are. They have so much heart and grit and love that it sucks the reader right in. Sweet Vengeance is funny, heartfelt, suspenseful and a great freaking story, I recommend you checking this book out and give it a STRONG 4.5 outta 5 stars!
PS Thank you to Danielle Norman for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly! <3
It’s been quite a while since I took the time to sit and read a mystery romance, and this one had just the right amount of ingredients to keep me chomping at the bit until the well-written end.
Sunday and Bo, two sides of the same coin. Both doing the right thing for their own reasons.
The story of Sunday and her best friends was chock full of the things you’d find in any real friendship. Calling one another out on their BS, being just one of those things.
Bo, a man looking out for his mum. After all, what would any child do if they discovered something like that out? Well, I’d do exactly what he does and darn the consequences.
Intrigue, dishonesty, romance, kick-butt friends; what more could a reader want.
Sunday is the member of the Iron Ladies who is more content asserting her power with her off the charts IT skills but their latest case has her on the front line when she agrees to go undercover to determine who is defrauding their clients company.
Bo is the son of her client and also happens to be in second position on their suspect list. He comes across as arrogant which rubs Sunday the wrong way but there is so much more to the man than his demeanor. When they find themselves working together the heat between them escalates but is Bo an ally or the enemy?
It is always fun to catch up with the characters we know and love from this series. Witty banter, hot chemistry and all the feels as Sunday and Bo search for the culprit and find each other.
This was an awesome installment in the Iron Orchids series.
The Iron Orchids are back and of course, they are doing what they are best at and that is helping someone in need, another woman in need and help her rid of all the crap that surrounds her life.
I loved this. I love the whole concept of it. Very empowering and I honestly would love to meet these women if they were real. The author writes an enticing, empowering story that had me hanging on every word.
I absolutely loved it and loved Sunday and the story the author spun for her!
Another great read from Danielle Norman. This book is part of the new spin off series the Iron Ladies. It had all the Dani sass and spunk of the other branches of the Iron's (badges & orchids) with a ladylike twist. I love that these ladies have the attitude we know and love from Danielle's characters but they're a little more refined. Less F###! more "oh my stars".
Bring on more of the Ladies who are a whisper & card hand-off from helping another woman.
Iron Lady Sunday Prescott is a computer wiz and has never had much success with the male sex. Well, her luck is about to change when she meets the smartass Bo Camden. When Bo's mother Traci goes to the Iron Ladies for help in getting proof that her no good two timing husband Kai is stealing from her company. Her son Bo and Sunday get off on the wrong foot and hate each other right out of the gate. Bo like the firey, intelligent Sunday and she can't stop wondering what he looks like with no clothes on! A recipe for a great yet be it rocky romance!
I really love all Ms. Norman's books, she inject humor, sexy dialog and a sweet love story for the perfect tale!
A computer wizard and the heir of his family’s financial firm may sound like strange bedfellows, but there is no denying Sunday and Bo’s chemistry. Bo is the son of one of Iron Ladies’ clients. They get off to a rough start, as he is on the suspect list. Bo and Sunday call a truce and she believes his innocence.
The plot is actually a continuation from a case in the book, “Bridget, Federal Protection”. At first it appears this is a case of embezzlement, but Sunday discovers much worse crimes are being committed. The story and its colorful characters will certainly keep you entertained.
Another enjoyable read
I enjoyed the second book in the Iron Ladies series. This was Sunday’s story. I liked Bo her romantic interest as well. I wish we would have been able to see GE end of the case they worked on. They got their client out of her marriage, but her husband was still running a trafficking rings out would have been nice to see the FBI take him and his colleagues down and free the victims.
I had some issues with this one. I like the girls and the work they do, I liked the client they were working with, but I never really warmed up to Bo. Often he came off as a petchulant child, one who was used to getting everything handed to him. I was glad when Sunday called him out at the end, but I think she could have done better than him.
Sunny has been the quietest of the Iron Ladies. She is their computer genius. She is the Frist one that Traci contacts for help. She comes into the company as Traci’s PA because her current one is on maturity leave. At work, she meets Bo, Traci’s son and sparks fly. Will they be able to figure out how the money is being lost? Can they work out the attraction?
Goodish read
Enjoyable romp with the iron ladies. Both characters were nicely suited to each other but too many things were left unexplained. And I always like retribution which didn’t happen. Very abrupt finish but overall good book.
The fabulous Iron Ladies are back helping another woman rid herself of the trouble in her life that is dragging her down. Danielle Norman knows how to write strong women who are loyal, determined, and who put their friendships first and will take on anyone that tries to keep them down. Sunday hasn’t always been one of those women, all throughout school, she was invisible until she met outspoken, take no prisoners Adeline along with Melanie and Olivia, who helped Sunday find her voice and come into her own. Sunday is now the computer genius/hacker who can crack any password and dig up any hidden dirt from the comfort of her desk.
Traci Camden has a problem, large sums of money are going missing from her company and there are only 2 people it could be, her son Bo, who she adores or her husband Kai who she wants to be rid of, so she enlists the help of the Iron Orchids to get to the bottom of it. Sunday is sent into the company undercover to gain access to their systems and see what she can dig up, but when she comes face to face with Bo, the insults and the sparks begin to fly
Bo and Sunday get off on the wrong foot, but the attraction is there from the beginning and although they are each wary of the others motives, they can’t help but give in to the growing attraction between them, but as they dig deeper into the missing money, questions are raised on who is telling the truth and who can be trusted.
I absolutely devoured this book, I loved Sunday’s character, she’s not as confident as the other Iron Ladies, but she is pure goodness, kind and friendly to all and because of this, she shines. Bo is gruff and angry, handsome without a doubt, but too busy working to keep his mother cared for to take advantage of that. He doesn’t trust easily and has a sharp tongue which he wields like a weapon when challenged. I really enjoyed the depth of the story, the links to previous storylines in Danielle’s other series and the appearance of a familiar face. All in all, another fantastic book, laughs a plenty, a great plot, and as always, wonderful characters. I highly recommend all of Danielle’s series, but definitely grab this one.
With an epic opening quote from Mary Howitt’s The Spider and the Fly Danielle Norman once again takes us on a journey led by courageous women.
Sweet Vengeance tells Sunday Prescott’s story where she grows from a quiet, behind the scenes computer genius to an assertive woman who uses her voice to speak her mind. I really loved Sunday’s character. She’s the kind of person who is naturally more introverted but still very present, even when it appears she’s busy working away on the computer. It goes to show that the loudest person in the room isn’t the only one paying attention.
Bennett Camden, or as he likes to be called, Bo, is a man who was raised by wealthy parents. He shares some similarities with stereotypical rich men, he’s authoritative and entitled, but he also shows that the privilege of money isn’t everything it’s dreamt to be.
Sunday and Bo’s relationship really kicks off when they agree to survey Bo’s father on a business trip. After agreeing to work together, Bo and Sunday find themselves in close quarters and interesting situations.
This book doesn’t have as much action or angst as many of Danielle Norman’s other books. One thing I would have liked to see with the book, as more relationship development between Sunday and Bo. They meet on the day Sunday begins helping out Bo’s mother. Then the next day they take off on their surveillance trip and are only gone for four days. The entirety of the book seems to span two weeks and in that time Sunday and Bo don’t really do the whole ‘getting to know you gig’. It’s kind of zero to sixty and that’s that.
I’m interested to see what happens with Connor Reid and Olivia, as well as Melanie and Barrett Huxley.
Sweet Vengeance by Danielle Norman was my introduction to the Iron Ladies. They’re a set of detectives who are contacted by women who’ve been given their special orchid business card as their referral. Their business is specifically geared toward helping women who are abused and/or used in some way.
In this story, the Iron Ladies are in roles typically reserved for men in most books. They’re the highly educated techies, readers of body language, trained in psychology, and create a team of women who are all individually powerful in their own right.
This particular story has the ladies investigating their client’s husband for embezzlement but wind up finding that there is so much more going on that will ruin their client’s company.
Also intertwined is a romance between Sunday, one of the Iron Ladies, and a highly trained computer genius hacker. She knows how to flush out the bad guys and is not afraid to take risks to find out information. That includes going undercover.
She meets Bo, their client’s son in the process. He has secretly been working with the FBI investigating his father as well for forging his son’s signature on legal documents.
Sunday and Bo, with permission from the rest of the ladies, agree to work together to find out how deep their client’s husband is into a dark world that includes so much more than embezzlement. So we get a romance, a complicated investigation, and even a bit of a thriller in this story.
I’m actually looking forward to going back to book one in 2020, and working through the series.
This book can also be read as a stand-alone as well. Highly enjoyable. I highly recommend this book.
I've become such a fan girl of Danielle Norman since the very first book that I read by her super talented self. And the Iron Ladies of Iron Orchids?! OH MY HELL DO I WANT TO WORK FOR THEM! Sweet Vengeance is Sunday's story, and it was fantastic. She's the computer nerd of the bunch, and a genius hacker to be honest, but that keeps her nose in her computer round the clock, which is really her happy place. However, their newest job is for Traci Camden, who started a very successful company with her husband, but for whatever reason, there's some shady business happening, so Traci needs the Iron Ladies help. Sunday goes undercover as Traci's temporary assistant, and one of the first issues becomes her son, Bennett 'Bo' Camden, who isn't happy about her being there, as he's very suspicious. He's so rude to her that I wanted to junk punch him, and after that more issues came in to play, including following her home trying to find out who Sunday really is. Then they go on business trip following someone else, and no, I won't tell you who, so it's there when the off the charts chemistry decides it won't be denied any longer. There are some bigger twists, which makes the f-bombs dropping so much fun, while there's also some drama, as neither are being totally upfront with the other, so Sweet Vengeance ticked all my boxes. If you want to know who dun it, and if Sunday & Bo start on a new journey together, you'll have to hit your one click button to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
In Sweet Vengeance we meet Sunday, Olivia, Melanie and Adeline. Young women brought together in college all of whom have 'nerd' as part of their DNA.
Now they are an elite private investigations firm that can only be contacted through their elusive 'orchid card'. Their mission? To bring abusive men to their knees, using their superior brains to achieve just that! The only thing missing is a 'Charlie', and a Bosley!
Sunday Prescott infiltrates a well established financial institution to work out just how money is being embezzled from the company coffers. On her first day she meets and is harassed by the boss' son Bo. Her boss, his mother, protests his innocence but Sunday's not entirely convinced.
Through circumstances, Sunday brings Bo into the Iron Ladies confidence and works alongside him to find the guilty employee.
Proximity, chemistry and good old fashioned attraction lead Sunday and Bo down a more intimate path.
Although Sunday is a highly intelligent woman she doesn't have the highest self confidence and questions Bo's motives for becoming involved with the 'geek'.
Bo detests liars and can't get past the lies Sunday has told in the course of her latest case.
In true Danielle Norman style were served up a well crafted HEA. In Sweet Vengeance it's one in which our alpha hero takes a well deserved verbal slap down from the woman of his dreams. Sigh!!
Another fabulous addition to the catalogue of Danielle Norman books that can't be missed.
Bo and Sunday were a cute, witty, and headstrong pair. Bo doesn't trust Sunday because he knows that his father has been lying to everyone for awhile. When he sees her at the office, he acts horribly. Sunday has been hired by his mother to look into some fishy things at her company. When Bo and Sunday team up to bring down the culprit, sparks fly. Sunday has never been treated well by men, she is a self proclaimed nerd who doesn't believe she will ever be wanted my a man. Bo is wealthy man, his mother says he is straigt shooter, but based on first impressions, Sunday doesn't believe it. When they follow his dad to the Caymen Islands, they learn a lot about his dad and each other. Unfortunately, when they get back home, it appears that their time away meant nothing to him (according to her) and he felt like she was lying to him the whole time. Even though I liked this book, I wish it would have been a little longer, so we could have seen more of the relationship between Bo and Sunday. Yes, we got some good moments when they were tailing his dad, but then that was it for the rest of the book. The relationship did move fast, but I wish we could have had a little more in between the culmination of the case (I don't want to spoil anything, so I am being vauge), and the epilouge. Overall, I did enjoy this book, believe it is a great addition to the series, and I recommend that you read this book. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
I have been waiting for the Iron Ladies stories and Sunday's story did not disappoint. Who says nerdy girls finish last? Danielle Norman has a way of writing characters that you want to be best friends with and be able to hang out with. Each, beautiful and strong with a fierceness of a "momma bear". Sunday is no wallflower and Bo sets her for a loop. Can she finally find that man of her dreams? Bo while initially an egomaniac turns into a swoony hero worthy of Sunny. I loved this story hard! ~Cindy
I love this series so far! The character's are so easy to relate to. The storyline keeps you wanting to read until it's finished. I love the raw humor and the suspense. This book has everything your looking for! A must read in my opinion. ~Crystal
"Sweet and nerdy Sunday finally gets her story told and what a doozy it is. But to fall for the ""bad guy"" totally not her style. But when these ladies fall, they fall hard.
I am loving this whole series. Nothing but bad a** women who know how exact vengeance when needed. " ~Jen
Sometimes being a nerd is a good thing. Sunday grew up being invisible until she went to college and met some women who brought her out of her shell. Using her skills as a powerful IT tech, she and her friends formed the Iron Ladies an unknown, referral-based PI business. For their latest job, Sunday is tasked with trying to ascertain what is going on at Traci Camden’s financial investment company as there appear to be some discrepancies. Bo is Traci’s son who not only works for the company but is doing some digging of his own. When Sunday and Bo are charged with working together, it does not go as smoothly as it should. Can Bo be trusted or is he involved in the nefarious goings on? The chemistry between these two is off the charts and the situation they find themselves in is filled with drama. Ms. Norman has again written a witty storyline with twists that are sure to check off any reader’s boxes. I look forward to more from these exciting ladies. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
Sweet Vengeance by Danielle Norman is part of the Iron Orchids /Iron Ladies Series. This is the story of Sunday Prescott and Bennett 'Bo' Camden. I have read the previous book 'Getting Even' and I do feel that helped me to enjoy this one but with that said I do feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Sunday is part of a team of women who secretly help other women who have been wronged by their husband, boyfriend or other men in their lives. Sunday and her co-owners have felt the pain of betrayal and go forward to help other. This leads her to Traci Camden's case who feelings her husband is doing some wrong doing that she wants brought to light. Bo too thinks something is not right and goes forward to work with a unhappy Sunday on this case. Sunday and Bo have to work closely to solve this case which brings their attraction to an all out burn.
Enjoyed their story.
Sweet Vengeance was a quick, fun Iron Lady story. Sunday is the tech goddess of our group of investigators. It is a stand alone story but I recommend reading Getting Even where we first meet this group of college friends. Traci Camden comes to the Orchids looking for information regarding her husband. He's been secretive and she suspects that not only is he cheating on her but doing some very shady business that will hurt the investment firm that they own and their only son works at. Bo Camden also suspects that something is going on with his father but doesn't want to upset his mother by letting on about his suspicions. Sunday begins working undercover at the firm and that is where the sparks between her and Bo begin to fly. Neither trusts the other fully but they are eventually forced to work together in following Bo's father to gather information. Sweet Vengeance was told from dual POV and has some laughs, steam and plenty of Girl Power!
The Iron Ladies is a detective agency that help woman out of difficult situations and by handing off a purple card is the only way you can reach them. Sandy Prescott is a tech guru who is hired to help investigate what is going on at Camden Industries.
Bo Camden thinks that she is having an affair with his father but when he really know why she is there, he wants to be involved in the investigation. If you like strong women who are equal to their mail counterparts then this series and author are for you.
Sweet Vengeance is the 2nd book in the the Iron Orchids: Ladies series. Danielle has created such wonderful and well written stories with female characters who are strong, independent and kick-ass. I wonder leave a spoiler but I will let you find out what happens in the book and if Summer and Bo become more than acquaintances.
