“I know about Fletcher’s mistakes,” she whispered. “You know what I’m talking about. Jeffery Wade was innocent. Fletcher got the wrong man.”

Ms Knightly leads us into another suspenseful plot and like a real CSI, I found myself trying to decipher which clues to pay attention to and which to shelve for another day. Her characters are a mixed bunch with some eager to answer questions and others are either running scared or have put up a barrier. We are cruelly left hanging by the skin of our teeth in this book and I am praying for the same outcome of the third book. I can’t help but feel this is a real turning point for numerous reasons.

The Past is Falsified picks up where we were left hanging. With nosy reporters, families wanting to blame someone and the evidence pointing to someone who already has a link to a victim. Silas and Madison amp up their investigation by putting pressure on Disco Vertigo’s owner hoping he’ll share what he’s hiding and question some of his workers. All while Ashley is fighting for her life in a hospital bed. Madison walks a tight rope and may take a tumble at anytime. She has worked out who Gabriela is and the green eyed monster appears.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "THE PAST IS FALSIFIED" OMG!!!! What a rollercoaster ride do many suspects two steps ahead three back they can't catch a break this is one addicting page turner.
Tyler Mulhern is still as creepy as ever & Captain Fletcher he's a real piece of work maybe he's involved with Disco Vertigo's owner Carson Patterson part of elite DLS Club.
Things start to unravel we find out who was behind Madison & Silas's attack her brother Aiden is seeing Gabriella Hendrix which causes problems for them.
Ashley still hasn't woken from her coma but Madison & Silas find a connection to her & one other girls that were involved with DLS Club people are talking.
I definitely recommend to get this book so much happens I still think Aiden is such a mystery I hope we get more about him in the next book what he's really up to then there's the mind-blowing shocking cliffhanger you won't believe OMG!!!! I need the the next book ASAP.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fourth book in the Evidence Speaks series. In this book, the Ghost has left his latest victim alive and she is fighting for her life. Silas and Madison hope to be able to uncover even more clues. Silas is realizing his feelings for Madison are more than he thought and he is wondering if she feels the same. They manage to get warrants to search for more evidence in regards to the underground sex club. I think this series is very good and i am really enjoying it. I like Silas and think he is a good guy and really cares about knowing the truth. Madison's secrets are going to come out and i can't wait to see how Silas reacts. Now it is even more personal for Silas and i am beginning to suspect the killer is closer than he thought. I look forward to the next book.

Excellent and always so unpredictable
It's a great episode, full of twists and more and more complex. The end is a very good cliffhanger.
The tension is building around Madison and Silas with the media putting more and more pressure on them since the killer's first mistake: a victim survived. Their investigations, begun around a shady club promoting less ordinary sexual practices than others, finally provide some leads.
Between romance and serial killer, the story remains exciting.

Teases the reader

Madison, newly hired and overqualified CSI, and Silas, semi downtrodden police detective, have discovered live victim of the Ghost and are hoping that this will lead to a break in the case. As the story progresses a former lead is followed, the data found is overwhelming, and if they cannot get past the road blocks it could be too late for the next victim. W.L. Knightly teases the reader with a possibility then yanks it away as things get deeper in true author fashion.

This book picks up right where the last one left off. Madison and Silas are closer to catching the killer and have a possible suspect. But I think its possible they are missing something. I believe their budding relationship has also hit an obstacle and a tragic event can either pull them together or drive a bigger wedge. Lots of action as Madison and Silas track down a killer and deal with outside interference. Very engaging story. You have to start with the first book in the series because each book picks up from the last to continue the story.

OMG another cliffhanger but this time it’s worse. The person Silas and Madison found at the end of the last book is still in hospital and not come out of her coma. Silas and Madisons attackers from the previous book, are also identified. There is so much going on in this book that if I put anything else it will be a spoiler. I can’t wait for the last book to find out who the Ghost is, I have no ideas at all who it could be!

I'm officially completely entranced by this book. Who is the ghost? I'm starting to make my list.
Silas and Madison have a live victim but she hasn't come awake yet.
Silas and Madison are hitting bumps in their relationship even though their feelings for each other are getting stronger.
Can they find the ghost? Will everyone's secrets come to light?
This one ends in a cliffhanger and the victim this time will make you gasp. Silas might not be able to handle this one.

Holy cliff-hanger ending Batman! That ending has stolen all my words, all the thoughts from my head. I’ve almost completely forgotten what took place during the rest of the book in the face of that ending. There were discoveries and revelations and now there are even more questions. I’ve given up trying to out-guess the author’s devious mind. I’m just desperate to know what’s going to happen next for Silas and Madison.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read more of these.

This author is outdoing themselves with the ever-increasing mystery, suspense, and intrigue involved in capturing the Ghost. The main characters were attacked in the last book and now their attackers' identities are known, a survivor remains in the hospital in a coma, and the book ends on a cliffhanger. This rollercoaster of a series has plenty of twists, and turns. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Madison and Silas are still at it and seem to be getting closer to the Ghost, but.... The Ghost seems to have gone dormant since the last attempt. Ashley is still unconscious. More leads are found but still don't lead anywhere meaningful. Madison and Silas are getting closer romantically, or are they?!? Mulhern and Fletcher are still being pains in their butts. And the ending!!!! Look out! Can't wait for the next installment?!

If you received the box set 1-3 for free, let me spare you the expense of purchasing volumes 4-6 to find out the identity of the serial killer. It is Madison’s brother Aiden. Madison gets off her meds and tries to frame Chris by planting evidence. Silas begins to suspect them both. Book 6 has Silas resigning from the force and hooking up with Madison at her treatment center. Save yourself 15 bucks or if you want to read it I would share on my Nook account.

The Ghost strikes again

Will Silas and Madison ever catch the killer? The killing had stopped and then a mistake was made. The killer left a victim alive. She was in a coma, but coming around. The detectives group worked hard to find a clue to the murderer, but no results. Then the worst thing happened, Gabby is murdered by the Ghost. Gabby was high school sweetheart of Silas and best friend. On to the next book

The suspenseful cliffhanger will have you on the edge of your seat with more questions than answers. I am waiting for the next two books to come out so we can find out who the ghost really is and what happens next with Silas and Madison.

I love this series. Detective Silas Warren and CSI Madison Corman continue to hunt for the ghost. Will they get their lucky break? It seems the ghost has made a mistake and a victim is left alive. The evidence keeps coming and the two keep on working to solve this. Lots of twists and turns.

This book starts from where the previous book ended. It was amazing and so much happens. It all feels like they are getting closer to the truth.
Im loving all the twists in the book and how silas and madison are getting closer to the truth.
I cannot wait to read more and find out what happens next.
