Sienna
Please excuse me while I go choke on my jealousy. Ava gets everything she wants, including the guy I’ve always loved. But Ava is my best friend, and she’s always been there for me, so despite her faults, I want her to be happy. I should just get over Evan because he’ll never be mine. It doesn’t matter that sometimes he looks at me like he understands my goddamn soul. It doesn’t matter… I can’t have him.

Evan
I take the easy path far too often. I know it. It’s my fatal flaw. I asked out the wrong girl because it was easy, and I just kept dating her because that was easy, too. But it’s the hard things that define us. And it is hard as hell to be in love with your ex-girlfriend’s fiercely loyal best friend. I should get over Sienna because she’ll never be mine. I already messed that up, but I can’t get her out of my head.

I dont understand the 4 or 5 stars revieuws. There was no history, no chemistry, nothing. There wasnt even a storyline to begin with in my opinion.

The blurb was great, and i was looking forward to it, the firsr few chapters i had to do my best not to delete the book. The middle of the book gets better, it was a bit sad sometimes, but the it went from high school "bareley friends" to 4 years later " i always loved you" and lets f*ck all the time.

This book was incredible. I loved how it flowed. There was so much emotion. I won’t admit this anywhere else but this was a book that brought tears to my eyes. There was pain, love, and suffering. It was all written so well. This author has this capturing writing style that keeps you entertained all the way till the end. I didn’t expect to like this book because of the “stealing your friend’s boyfriend” kind of idea but these two characters belonged to each other. I loved all the characters except Ava. She was self-obsessed, selfish, and a horrible friend no matter what Sienna thought. She did show true love at times and I did feel for her at those times. I love Sienna and Evan’s light bantering and the way their relationship grew. I enjoyed seeing the characters grow up from when they were in high school to after college. I really loved this story and look forwards to reading Charlie’s story.

This is an emotional forbidden romance with well-developed characters and a fully fleshed out plot. The journey from friends to lovers for Sienna and Evan is a bumpy one, full of ups and downs. The plot of this romance takes the reader on a journey through a difficult situation where, no matter what happened, someone was going to get hurt. You feel how high the stakes are throughout the story.

Sienna and Evan will frustrate you throughout this book but their story is worth the frustration! If only they could have been honest about their feelings from the beginning, all the drama could have been avoided. But, we all don't always make the best decisions for our lives at the right times. I was glad they finally got their HEA. They surely earned it!

I felt sorry for Ava throughout the story because she really had no idea Evan and Sienna had feelings for each other at first and she really did care for both. Despite her selfishness, they both were important to her and they had lied to her. I enjoyed this book very much and I am interested in reading Ava's story. She's a great character. It seems like her character experienced some growth through the experiences of this book and it would be nice to see her get her HEA.

This is my first book by this author and I liked it so much, I searched her books and bought "Whatever, Jerk" to read next.

We’ve all had that friend that gets everything they want... the perfect family... the perfect clothes... and of course the perfect boy. Sienna doesn’t have the perfect life... her parents ignore her... she doesn’t come from money and she’s good on her own. She meets the new girl Ava in middle school and they become besties. Ava is the girl that has everything. Sienna has been in love with Evan for as long as she can remember... when she was ready to tell him in walks Ava and the rest is history... at least that’s what she thinks. Evan is the popular guy who always takes the easy road... so why wouldn’t he go for the popular girl instead of the intriguing one? As the third wheel Sienna has to deal with epic amounts of PDA while her bestie and the boy she loves hangout. One fateful day changes everything...

This story was so damn good. I loved that these characters (with exception of Ava) had so much depth. It was more than just a best friend’s boyfriend story. They had to deal with real life issues and the heartbreak that they bring. Ava... she drove me crazy. I’ll leave it at that.

This book grabbed me and I didn’t move the entire day. Now to read more from this fabulous author!

Hook, line and sinker!

This is the first book I'm reading from the author and it definitely won't be the last. Nikki had me from the get go and I couldn't wait to see what the characters got up to in the book.

Sienna had been crushing on Evan since high school and she desperately wanted to be more than his friend, but when Hurricane Ava comes in and starts school all that flies out the window. Ava not only becomes her best friend but she also gets the boy, leaving Sienna and Evan friend zoned.

After being with Ava for a couple of years, Evan comes to realise that maybe, just maybe she wasn't what he wanted. Now he's left with a dilemma, take the easy road and stay with Ava, or take the rocky road and fight for Sienna...

Will Sienna and Evan finally allow themselves this little piece of heaven, or will they both take different directions and let fate slip through the cracks?

When Evan and Sienna end up friend-zoned because of new girl Ava who has her heart set on him, their lives take a turn of regret and frustration. Everyone can tell that they belong together except the three of them. When Evan comes clean and breaks things off with Ava you think there's a chance, but Sienna can't choose him over her best friend. Years pass and something brings Evan back to town that will alter everything they both know and want.
I've gotta say that once they revealed their feelings the chemistry brewing was exactly what we were all hoping for. A bumpy and twisted ride, but you're sure to fall and root for them.

Give this book a shot, the author serves up....

Give this book a shot, the author serves up love and all the twists and turns you can never predict but can TOTALLY relate to in real life.

Parts of it made me laugh and other parts made me cry. Not every book can invoke that kind of emotion from me.

First time reading a book by this author, and will not be the last! Hooked into adding another on my TBR....

I will never look at rain the same way. Read her book to find out why!

This was such a frustrating book! I just wanted to shake some sense into Sienna and Evan! They obviously like each other and compliment each other personality-wise,. When they are together, their chemistry is scorchingly steamy hot! They have two work through loyalty and real-life issues to get to their HEA. The book was entertaining and well-written.

Okay, I read these books backwards so I kinda knew how it would end, but it didn’t take away from the story at all. This is the third book I’ve read from Nikki, and I’ve learned that I can always expect a sweet and steamy love story. She touches on some heavy topics, but the sweet and steam take center stage and sometimes that’s the exact type of reading I need in my life. Life is heavy and hard, I love books that allow an escape from that.

This was a frustrating read for me as Sienna had a huge crush on Evan but when her best friend went after him first she just set back and said nothing. Ava threw herself at Evan but he never really wanted her because he wanted Sienna but again he said nothing. I was happy when they were able to get together even when it caused so much drama and food fights.

I loved this sweet & spicy friends to lovers story! This was a quick read that packed in all the delicious heat. There were so many times I wanted Sienna and Evan to just go for it, and I literally couldn’t stop reading because even though I knew I could expect an HEA from this author, the suspense was killing me! There’s plenty of headboards and heartache in this one. A must read!

This was an amazing story. I loved the first person, dual point of view, which is always a deal breaker for me. The story pulled me in from the first paragraph, I read it in one sitting.
