A Heart Unchained
(Brie’s Submission #23)
Written by: Red Phoenix

I love the way Author Red Phoenix’s muses work!

There’s a trip to let Dyadya see his new godson to a visit to Italy for Nonna and Nonno to pamper their new great grandson and spoil Miss Hope there will never be a dull moment.

We don’t just get the good; we get the bad and the ugly as well! Nothing has been completely settled in respect to Lily and everyone at home wants to know how Falen is doing. Not just the community is concerned so are Red’s loyal readers.

We find more intrigue when Brie and Sir are in Italy. Some of it in the letters they find at Gino Mancini’s home, while Nonna herself is withholding family information from Thane. Will Thane and Brie help grant a request Nonna has asked of them?

Mary allows readers to see how concerned she is about all that surrounds Brie’s documentary and there is obvious concern on her part, we just don’t know yet.

Will the prodigal father arrive home in time? We readers can only hope that he is ready to raise his little girl. I’m sure he knows he has so much support from his close friends and his BDSM family. It was a delight to see Marquis stand up and fight for not just Falen but his daughter as well.

Topping it all we know that there will be sexy scenes while travelling and a surprise visit for Sir and Brie to an Italian city that hold wonderful memories for our favorite couple.

It felt like I was reading one moment but then on a whirlwind experience to several different countries and cities then home again to make sure that all is well with everyone in the community! Another 5 star read from Red Phoenix..very much looking forward to the next book.

5 Star Review of A Heart Unchained (Brie’s Submission #23) by Red Phoenix

Each time I pick up a book in this series I know I will be drawn into a wonderful story with characters who feel like family to me after so many years.
This was an emotional read that had me feeling as though I was on an emotional roller coaster. I love these characters, Brie, Sir, Rystar and their friends hold a special place in my heart and I was fully invested in the story.
As always there was plenty of heat, steam, heart and soul woven throughout. There were times when I wanted to scream, sighed, cried and laughed. As secrets come to light, lives will be changed and more layers to these characters are revealed.
A fast paced story that will tick all the boxes for you, I know it did for me.

Edge of my seat!

Once again Brie, Thane along with their friends, family and enemies are brought to life. I laughed, I cried, I cringed, and worried. The world that Red has created is truly amazing. The dangerous aspects are entertaining to read but I wouldn't want to live through them but the rest leaves me somewhat jealous. I can't get enough of this series and it won't be long until I start the next book.

So powerful...Brie and Sir take a surprise trip to Russia and then on to Italy. With Brie's second film taking off, things are looking up. Add in Rytsar and Sir, and you get some steamy encounters... How will Faelan recover from the tragedy in his life? Brie and Sir will uncover some terrible sadness from Nonna's past and you will be emotionally drained by the end. I received this book as an ARC and Red Phoenix is absolutely brilliant with how she draws you into the story. You can experience the joy, sorrow, helplessness, and a myriad of other feelings when you read any of her books. Awesome continuation of Brie's journey and I can't wait to see where it will take her next.

A Heart Unchained by Red Phoenix
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
First up anytime, we have scenes with Rytsar and Sir my heart goes pitter patter…this book doesn’t disappoint in that department.
This book full of family. We are visiting our family in Russian and Italy plus our family in the states. Family is blood and those you choose to love unconditionally.
When we visit Rytsar and Faelan in Russia, we see more of the loss Faelan is feeling but also revel in the love with our favorite Russian. Seeing our Wolf so lost was sad and heartbreaking followed by the love and cherishing done by Master and Rytsar was enjoyable. But seeing Lilly was kinda weird and scary. The fact she is still so unbalanced is scary. Red, Ya got me worried here sis!!
Visiting our family in Italy and learning of the secrets of the past was so sad and made us readers want to snuggle with Nonno and Nonna even more. However, seeing them embrace Thane and Brie’s kids was so heartwarming. When we learn more about Alonzo and the scenes that followed were super sexy and yummy to this readers heart.
Our American family is struggling and dealing with heartbreak and fears of the future, but I loved what we see from Master Anderson. I mean he is just the most fun side character in the series IMO. Plus Lea!! GAH!! I can’t wait to see what happens next there.
As we are used to reading there is heart and love in every page along with some mystery and suspense with how the book ended. I do have to wonder what will come of Mary. I see glimpses of her and what she could be and hope that she gets an HEA she deserves to have at some point.

Never a dull moment!

This story was a grand slam even after the 22 plus books in this world it was still fresh, captivating, steamy, loving, exciting emotional rollercoaster ride. So you better buckle up for one h3// of a ride. And holy smokes that mind blowing cliffhanger ending had me a nervous wreck. I was shocked, scared and screaming NO,NO,NO!

Brie is still buzzing from her win over her documentary and the birth of her son Anthony. So they head to Russia to see Rytsar to introduce him to Anthony and catch up with what's happening with Faelan along with the progress with Lily. While there we see the bond between Rytsar and the family but also the turmoil that Faelan is still experiencing. Then they head to Italy to see Sirs grandparents and family. While there we are taken on an emotional journey as he discovers devastating family secrets and a look through his father's life as Brie continues her research for her documentary. But it's not all serious as they take time to enjoy each other in the most carnal delicious ways.
From Russia to Italy and back to their home we see the undeniable love between them, family and community and how they come together in times of joy sorrow and need. There is so much happening in this story that you will devour it all and scream when it's over especially with that heart stopping cliffhanger.

Five + well deserved ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Holy… Heck!! What did I just read??

I can’t believe how this book ended…. And you won’t be able to either!

Fresh from her win regarding her second film, Brie and Sir are preparing for a trip to surprise Rytsar, and to go see Sir’s family in Italy. They can’t wait to introduce Anthony to Nonna.

I don’t know what to say about this story without spoiling it and I do NOT want to spoil! I read this mostly in one sitting, leaving 3 chapters for this morning after a slept a couple of hours. It was an excellent book, and there is so much happening through the whole thing. Sir and Brie find out some of Nonna’s secrets while in Italy and they mourned with her wile there. They reconnected with Rytsar, assisted Faelan, did more research on Sir’s father for Brie’s documentary.. and all with the same love and connection you always feel when reading about them.

I am always in awe of the connection between Sir and Brie that is so clear and real that it jumps off of the page while reading. Red Phoenix is a master of the written word, and making the characters and connections real. I am a long term fan, and a life long fan of her writing.

That ending though!!! I need the next book!!!

The continuation of Brie’s and Sir’s story. A story that I’m holding very dear to my heart. It’s such a beautiful story to watch unfold. Between the good and the bad. It’s become my new fairytale story that shows what’s needed in a good relationship whether it be BDSM based or even just vanilla based. Lol
Anywho! Onto the story, you have Brie and Sir… the main two, you get to see the beautiful dynamics of their relationship growing and becoming more complex. Being a mother/father, and continuing to work on every day life. Then there’s my favorite Russian, Rytsar! He’s such a loving man, a sadist (yes!). There is a few other characters you see through out the novel, and you get to read their inner struggles and how they handle them.
There’s so much going on, but it flows so brilliantly. You can not miss a beat, while reading. The emotions that pass through you as you read, is very real. That’s one thing I love about Ref Phoenix’s novels, I feel all the emotions, I feel like I am right there with the characters. I recommend A Heart Unchained to be read. If you want to be engrossed in a beautiful story, please do. Never been dissatisfied or disappointed by a novel. There are sexy/BDSM scenes. So be prepared to be enthralled.

What an emotional ride...

A Heart Unchained is book twenty-three in the Brie's Submission series and I'm still so in love with her stories. Somehow Red Phoenix still manages to keep her series just as fresh as ever. Each book is better than the last and I can never get enough of these characters. It's always great to drop in on the Submissive Training Centre crew and see what trouble they've gotten themselves into.

We continue to follow the story of Sir and Brie as they've now become parents twice over and all the curveballs that life throws at them, not to mention the threats to their thruple with Rytsar. This book will take you on an emotional rollercoaster so get your tissues ready and put up those DND signs once you dive in. Get ready for a bunch of fun cameos from the entire crew and tons of sinfully sweet scenes.

While this book can be read as a standalone, you will enjoy it much more if you've read even a few of the previous books. I can't recommend Red Phoenix's books more because she never fails to deliver a steamy, suspenseful, hilariously-eventful good time that pulls you in from the very first line. I can't wait to see what happens next in this series and I just know it'll be fantastic.

I received a copy of this book for the purpose of a review.

The talented and always heartfelt Red Phoenix has given us the next instalment in the Brie series with...
A HEART UNCHAINED

Let me tell you, this book is so full of heart and soul and it's all about family. The family Brie and Sir have with their two children, the family they have chosen within the Sub school community and the family that lives so far away in Russia and Italy but is always so close in heart and mind.

It's a story full of action, you never know what's coming next and there are definite heart in throat moments. From the aftermath of Brie's triumphant showdown with Hollywood heavyweights that threatens a fragile friendship. To life-threatening moments that take the little family back to a time that almost destroyed everything. To heartwarming family reunions with loved ones with secrets. And of course scorching interludes with the most incredible backdrops in the world. A Heart Unchained has it all and then some.

Right up to the last sentence - which, trust me, I immediately messaged Red to voice my displeasure... Talk about leaving a girl hanging. It's the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers and I'm desperate to know what comes next.

Absolutely Phenomenal!!

Once again Red Pheniox has made us a part of Brie and Sir’s world. I’m thankful to be able to experience it. I’m so invested and in love with all these characters, there truly a part of me.

This part of the journey is truly magnificent. Prepare to feel all the heartache and joy right along with them. First to Russia with Rytsar. What an incredible surprise and of course there’s an amazing reunion. Unfortunately, the visit with Lily is very disturbing.

Then we are off to Italy. When Nona holds Anthony for the first time it’s so beautiful.
Theres a lot that happens with Nonna and Sir,
You will be moved to tears. In the end, things are resolved and Anthony is Christened there.

I would love to tell you about Faelan and his daughter. But it’s so incredible, you must read this story and feel everything for yourself.

Now on to the ending, OMG you will be on the edge of your seat. Red Pheniox leaves you breathless.

You will not be disappointed !! if you have followed Brie and the gang from the start, you can’t miss this important and phenomenal piece of there journey!!

What a moving chapter in Brie and Sir's world

Ms. Phoenix has done it again with breathtaking story full of twist and turns in the continued story of Brie and Thane's world. After the birth of their second child. Brie and Sir have some traveling to do. With the children in tow they fly to Russia so the can introduce Anthony to is godfather face to face. As always there is plenty of hot and steamy moments with the three of them together. Plus special side trips to enjoy together. Sir introduces his new son to his grandparents. While there Brie gets the opportunity to do more research on Thane's Father for the documentary she wants to do on his life and career. Sir also learns of a family secret that he had never heard. As always the Submission community rallies around some of their own members when life gets to hard to hand on their own. Its nice to have friends you can count on and that will have your back when things get hard. I'm having a hard time having to wait for the next book. What a cliffhanger May 2022 can not get her soon enough.

I received a copy of this book for an honest. review.
I was so excited to get a copy of this book, I always love seeing the adventures we go on with Brie. Brie and Sir took us on one heck of an adventure. They took us to Russia to see my favorite man Rytsar and then to Italy to see Nonna and Nonno.
We learn so many things about Sirs family and friends. I had so many emotions going on in this one. I loved seeing Rytsar, Nonna and Nonno seeing Brie and Sir’s son for the first time. My heart went out to Faelan when he saw the baby. Sir has to face so many hard memories and finding out secrets of his family.
I enjoyed seeing everyone. We got a glimpse of so many and got small updates on each of them. One thing is constant in these books the love Sir and Brie have for their friends and family. No matter what they have to face they face it together as a family. I feel I need the next book the ending of this one has me on the edge of my see to see what is going to happen next.

From the first word to the last word this book will have you mesmerized. Sir and Brie are off to Russia to visit Rytsar and Faelan. While there they enjoy each other and the sites. Rytsar finally gets to the salt caves and holy moly what a time they have. The connection between the 3 is off the charts and I fall inlove with them each more as I read. While in Russia, Brie tries to help Faelan realize he will be a great father to his daughter. And that talk plays out well later in the book. After their visit to Russia the Davis' head to Italy to visit with Sir's grandparents and they learn of all the loss that Nonna has had. So much so that Sir does answer her one question. Once they arrive back they learn a bit more about Master Anderson. Now the ending omg the cliff hanger is something else. I will be on the edge of my seat ready for the next book. Well played Red well played.

Heart pounding scenes ahead!! 5*****

"A Heart Unchained", oh my goodness, how do I start? As usual, our beloved author Red Phoenix has written a truly wonderful book full of so many emotions. From the very first chapter I was sitting on the edge of my seat going, "oh my gosh"!! Heart pounding scenes on land and in the air will keep you turning the pages to find out what is going to happen next. More secrets are revealed and the healing process is started. Our favorite characters go above and beyond for each other. You will need some tissues for the tears of sadness and the joy of loving connections. Better have a few towels handy also. (wink-wink)
I completely enjoyed reading this wonderful story and am already beyond ready for the next part. This is my honest opinion of this book and I'm sure you will enjoy it also. I did receive a ARC and it was my pure pleasure to read and review this book. 5*****

Great Book

No No No Red what are you doing with that ending and we all know who that was… argghhhh.
I’m loving the relationship between Sir & Brie it’s just so lovely to see them grow as a couple and maintain their D/s relationship with 2 kids.
Rytsar yet again is so amazing and the Masterpiece chapter in the caves is one of my favourites, and thank you for Todd’s response with Kaylee I was so so happy with this especially after his bad reaction in Russia and I love the little glimpse of little sparrow ah I just love that little dog.
How beautiful was it that Sir & Brie were with Brad for that secret and what Dominus has done for him, that is another favourite and made me cry with Brad’s response to the envelope and then the box and photo.
Yeah we hopefully get what he told Sir & Brie he wanted to do in the next book.. yeah.

However that ending 🤯 and Sir is going to go ballistic never mind how Rytsar will react need the next book now.

OMG! What a journey this one takes you in the world of Brie and her friends. I giggled I cried and I’m on the edge of my seat to find out what happens next! Only Red Phoenix can make you feel like you are right beside the action. Every time I read a Brie book it feels like coming home to friends and family. You get angry and want to shake the book hoping to shake some sense into your friends only to realize that when you get to the end it’s just a book. With each book you get more information about each character and I always learn something new. This is a must read! It has the steam (hot hot hot!) towels needed lol and it has all the feels tissues are not necessary but good to have near by! Loved it!

A Wild Ride

The title of Red Phoenix's latest entry in the wildly popular Brie series may be A Heart Unchained, but the truth is, it should be A Writer Unchained.

This book, THIS BOOK, is one roller-coaster of a wild ride! From the first paragraph, Red takes us on a journey with Brie and Sir through new scenes, and with touches of Sir and Rytsar's LBB (Life Before Brie).

We celebrate success, face fears and experience La Dolce Vita (the sweet life). Red always makes us want to share more of these moments in our friend's lives.

In A Heart Unchained, we have the perfect opportunity to see just how much Sir has grown since he collared Brie. Sir, the man who swore he'd never collar, marry, have children, has done all of that, and more. Sir has faced his demons, and he continues to rise to each occasion as a man of principle and honor. As a man in love, a Master, a father, brother, a friend, a grandson.

As I said in the beginning of this review, this read is a wild ride. When the book closes, it's going to leave you breathless. Get ready for it, because Red Phoenix leaves us on our knees faster than an order from Rytsar Durov.

In this book, we have our favorite characters, Brie, Sir, Master Rystar, & Master Anderson makes a bit of an appearance.

Sir & Brie and the children make a trip over to Russia to see Master Rystar, and see some of the country. Brie can't believe the building Rystar lives in, after exploring and discovering the indoor pool, she really doesn't want to leave.

Once they leave Russia, they are off to Italy, to see Sir's family. Nonna & Nonno are in need to meet the new grandson! I do love how the family is so inviting and warm to Sir & Brie and the young children. It's like Brie was always a part of their family with how the extended family in Italy loves them so much.

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.

Red Phoenix is by far one of my favorite authors to read and recommend. Her stories have heart and soul and take you into the lives of each character as she weaves a story that is mesmerizing and beautiful. I have loved Brie since that fateful book one so many years ago. This book is no different. Going back to live and love with her and Zane is a magical experience. My favorite man returns into this story, Rystar is not just my book boyfriend but my book husband. This book bring out secrets that shake the relationship but we do not know how it will affect them in the end. This book does leave you on a cliffhanger but oh what a ride it is to read. I am looking forward to the next book and May can't get here soon enough!! A Great Read! By a very talented author.

4⭐️ Overall there’s a lot still happening with these characters. I like that Mary still has constant issues. It feels very realistic bc traumatized people just don’t change and trust so easily. I’m still not crazy about the Greg plot line though. Does he have an issue with her bc she stands up for herself, or bc she’s connected to Mary?
My heart breaks for Faelan and I’m glad we see another side of him and another dimension of parenthood and grieving.
Brie learns how to cook more Italian food and I love that! It really gives the book a richer dimension by adding in such cultural details. I love learning new things like this!
Damn this book and it’s huge cliff hanger!!!
Worth the read?: YES
Reread?: Maybe

A Heart Unchained

Omg, I can’t get enough of Brie, her family and extended family. They are all so intriguing and I love when they help each other work through their obstacles in life. I must say that this book is everything I hoped for and more I love that Flynn has come around for his daughter and Mary has finally accepted Brie’s truth. I also, love that Sir’s family is very protective of his grandmother for good reasons. This part of the story was an emotional one for me. Most of all I love that Brie and Sir always manages to have fun and enjoy life no matter the obstacles that they are facing. Above all I do love that Rytsar is always their to protect and lend a helping hand. I can’t wait for the next book, I just have a feeling it going to be life changing.

Super Sensational Series Addition!

I Loved this book and I Love how Red Phoenix always leaves her readers wanting more. All of the books in this series fit together like perfect puzzle pieces and this one is no exception. However, there is a feeling of “release” and “things lining up” in this story that made me feel the needed completeness I was craving. I’m so very excited to see what the next book will bring but this one will keep me quite happy until then as I read and re-read it again and again. Looking forward to Pippa doing the narration as well. If you’re a fan of the Brie Submission series you can’t miss this book!

This is another fantastic storyline of the lives of Sir and Brie! One of the things I appreciate from Red Phoenix's writing is that she takes real once in a lifetime incredible experiences and locations, and shares them in such great detail that we feel like we are actually there and/or want to experience them for ourselves. My favorite parts were their experience in Venice, as well as Anderson's prank on Thane. (Gosh, I laughed so much when I read about the prank.) My favorite quotes were "I believe he died still wanting to live." and "You make my world a better place." I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I will never get tired of reading about Brie and the whole gang. In A Heart Unchained we got to go back to Russia with the wonderful Rytsar. When the three of them get together it never disappoints. My wish will always be that they become more. The wolf pup is still struggling but we get to see a breakthrough which was so heart warming. Next off to Italy where Sir and his family have their own moments of tragedy and breakthrough. Master Anderson makes an appearance which is always a good time. Overall I laughed, shed a tear, and got hot hot hot. Well done Red.

I absolutely love the series, and since finishing the last book, couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I was not disappointed! I love this amazing and beautiful story about Brie, Thane, their two children, and their family, and friends. Their friends are really family as well as they all support each other in times of need. Thane always finds ways to keep their marriage so exciting. Thane tries to find out what is bothering Nonna and how to answer the heartbreaking questions she is asking. Will Faelan who is mourning the loss of his wife be able to care for his baby daughter? There is so much to this amazing story and it has so much heart and compassion. It ends with a cliffhanger so I can not wait for the next story in this series.

There was not a dull moment in this book. You will travel around the world from the US to Russia and Italy then back again. We get to visit with many of our favorite characters with some extra special scenes with Rytsar and in Italy. We get some answers and resolution to some story lines involving Nonna and Faelan BUT it ends in a huge cliffhanger which may or may not have something to do with Mary and the film! I am so desperate for the next book. This one did not disappoint. Right from the start, Brie brings out a bag of rice and it took me right back to where it all began. Enjoy!
