Walking the 10 Paths of Self-healing by Nadav Ben Yehuda has a message for every human being. For those whose heart has been broken, or whose body is shouting out due to illness, or who want to get to know themselves better in the deeper sense.

Having healed himself from fibromyalgia and cancer, Nadav shares the way in which this took and is still taking place.

10 Paths to Self-Improvement and Self-Healing

What a fascinating read! The author posits that we can heal ourselves physically and mentally by adopting a more positive mindset (though he doesn’t term it as simply as that). He looks at this healing mindset from 10 different angles, the paths of self-healing mentioned in the title. They are Responsibility, Commitment, Listening, Filtering, Total Devotion to the Process, Opening Up to the Great Forces, Compassion, Peace instead of War, Partnership, and Love. Each of these is its own chapter, and the author gives much food for thought in each topic. You can tell that he has discovered the power of these from his own self-healing process. This is a somewhat weightier book than many in the current nonfiction field, so I recommend delving into this book slowly and taking many stop points so you can reflect on what he is talking about, perhaps applying it to your own life. If you are at all interested in self-improvement, this is a book that you will undoubtedly find a welcome addition to your library.

‘Anyone can heal themselves!”

Israeli author Nadav Ben-Yehuda practices holistic healing as a therapist, spiritual teacher, and healer having earned his degree from the Medicin College of Chinese Medicine. Prior to his entry into holistic medicine Nadav enjoyed success as an actor, director and playwright.

Nadav’s approach to both his subject matter and to his reader/follower (the two are united) is so supportive that joining him in his message is secure. He opens this wise book with the following example of his writing – ‘A deep breath…and another breath…Do you agree to be healed? That is my question to you the moment you open this book. Do you agree to be healed? I assume the answer is ‘Yes.” Few people, if any, will say “No,” If you agree to be healed, then I ask, what are you ready to do in order to achieve it? Are you ready to make a change in you life? A change so deep that, up to this moment, this terrible moment, you never considered making? Take a deep breath…I embrace you from here, from the pages of this book…I embrace you because form the moment you opened this book, we have become companions on the journey.’ A more supportive manner of teaching could not be imagined.

Sharing his own history of being faced with a critical disease and finding his way to self-healing is yet another aspect of why this book makes an impact. The ten paths of self healing Nadav discusses are Responsibility, Commitment, Listening, Filtering, Total Devotion to the Process, Opening Up to the Great Forces, Compassion, Peace instead of War, Partnership, and Love – each of these paths he discusses in depth, allowing us to ‘encounter the values of self and community healing through explanations, examples, guidance, and learning.’

Self-healing refers not only to corporal, physical diseases, but also to emotional, mental, and spiritual challenges that benefit equally well from Nadav’s words and advice. There is a reason that this book was a best seller when it was first published in Israel: it is a sold resource for creating changes in lives to cure and conquer disease in a most accessible manner. Very highly recommended.

A very well written life improvement book...

I really enjoyed reading this book. And, I suspect all fans of the Self-Improvement genre will love having a read of this one also! WALKING THE 10 PATHS OF SELF-HEALING, is a very well written life improvement book. This book is intelligent, wise and packed to the rafters with practical common-sense advice. It becomes obvious as you read through this page turner that the author is imparting his wisdom and understanding as to what happiness and success really means. It’s an excellent guide for putting things into perspective.

Profound thoughts are explained here in the simplest of terms. That’s all I can say about this book. It is difficult to write a more objective review because the impact the author will have on you will make you see life and its problems in a wise and practical way. The book should NOT be read – it should be absorbed and reflected upon.

This book has helped me clarify my thinking, process my feelings, and make better decisions. If you are you ready to stop drifting and design a life you love, this read with help you on your journey. The author has put his heart in the pages of this book and will encourage and give hope to the reader. So many wonderful and courageous people share their experiences through books, and I thank this author for sharing his.

The overall tone was simply imparting knowledge, personal experience and wisdom in a gentle and generous way. His words will help to better equip you to interpret and handle life in a whole new way, which in turn will bring peace, love and joy into your life. If you are looking for inspiration and encouragement in the face of serious issues, this would come highly recommended from me.

No matter what your situation is today, this book will put you on the right path to better things. I’ve been around the block a few times myself and even I found this read to be very insightful. This wonderful new book will show you how to properly tune into life and the simple rules you must follow to achieve this. This by far is one of the best Self-Improvement books I’ve read in a long time. The author must be commended for his time and effort for producing such an insightful book. Also, the writing style is friendly which makes for an enjoyable read.

WALKING THE 10 PATHS OF SELF-HEALING is a wonderful read that will leave you feeling like a better person for having read it. It’s an impressive work for author Nadav Ben-Yehuda and I’ll certainly be looking forward to reading more from him in the future. I would highly recommend this perceptive and intuitive read. A well-deserved five stars from me.

Walking the 10 Paths of Self Healing is a self-help book that primarily focuses on the theme that we all need to take responsibility for our own well-being. If you eat healthier, exercise more, change your attitude, meditate and have faith, then your body can heal itself over time.

While book centers around the author's own experiences fighting cancer and fibromyalgia, you can easily use these "paths" to conquer other problems in your life. Once you decided to take responsibility for your own life, then anything is possible.

Overall, I enjoyed reading Walking the 10 Paths of Self Healing. I was expecting it to be a short read but it's actually very lengthily and well-written.
