Vanessa und Troy haben mir definitiv besser gefallen als Isabella und Cabot!

This book started well.
Well, sort of - the couple’s backstory is exactly what you read in the synopsis. That’s all you get. I thought maybe their meeting happened in another book, but I couldn’t figure out which one if it did.
Anyway, hooray for mature (in age) characters who have actual conversations about their thoughts and feelings.
But not so hooray for a book that has a multitude of side characters with their own stories happening independent of the main plot of the book. My confusion is mostly my fault - I haven’t read many books of this series, and only a handful from the spin-off series, so keeping everyone straight was a challenge.
Also not hooray for predictable conflicts and a heroine who lets a hero get away with pulling the same crap three times.
Otherwise this was a fairly decent listen!

Bücher von Marie Force müssen einfach so schnell wie möglich gelesen werden und nach Butler in Vermont reise ich immer gerne. Ich liebe die Charaktere und so erging es mir mit Izzy und Cabot leider nicht anders. Ich habe sie schon vor ein paar Büchern ins Herz geschlossen und endlich durfte ich die Geschichte von ihnen lesen. Es war wieder wunderbar zu lesen und ich bin traurig, dass es nun wieder vorbei ist und ich jetzt noch warten muss bis der nächste Teil auf Deutsch übersetzt wird und das kann noch warten, denn angekündigt ist gerade keiner. Es sind so Wohlfühlbücher und ich bekommen einfach nicht genug davon, die Autorin könnte noch 10 Bücher schreiben und ich würde sie alle lesen.

We see Izzy and Cabot in previous books. Definitely a spark, but Cabot lives in Boston. When Izzy is in an accident he races to her side to take car of her.
Cabot has a lot to work through stemming from his ex-wife taking his daughter and disappearing. These issues, along with Izzy being 12 years younger and wanting a family, makes him feel like he can’t be the man she needs.
Izzy knew Cabot was special, but she doesn’t know how to help him if he won’t let her.
Loved seeing Troy meet Vanessa in this one too.

Here, There and Everywhere took me by surprise in such a good way! The novel is filled with characters whose stories will touch your heart, drama that will keep you turning the pages and a romance that will make you believe in true, all-encompassing love.
Cabot Lodge is one of the most complex and intriguing heroes that I have met. His conflict between loving Izzy and letting go of his past anger and grief was perfectly told. I emphasized with him and then got really made at him…..even though I understood where he was coming from. Izzy and Cabot were such a great couple. Loved that Izzy was independent and knew what she wanted from their relationship and wasn't afraid to put it all out there. She understood that Cabot was wounded but, realizes that although he is a competitive businessman he is a sweet, nurturing, loving person
Loved the secondary stories that are woven seamlessly in this novel. Vanessa opens up to Izzy and Grayson about her career. Lucas and Landon’s visit to Colton’s mountain top home during a blizzard was perfectly written- the conversations between the brothers were comical and serious at the same time-lots of love and laughter with these brothers. And there’s a secondary romance that totally amazed me—just loved this couple. Loved the closeness of the Abbott and Coleman families and the relationship that Elmer has with his daughters and grandchildren. Elmer and his sidekick Linc are my two Favorite characters—love their match matching schemes and their amazing results make me smile!
Here, There and Everywhere is the perfect late winter read. Snuggle up with a mug of hot chocolate and enjoy this novel!

Everything just felt so... forced. I didn't get any of the new-ish 'romances'. I thought that Izzy should've had so much more about her. Months had gone by... I get that Cabot was trying to manage his own issues... but he did it in a thoughtless way. I thought Deb should've been... arggh. I dunno... driven off in a bad bad bad way. I thought that Mike ( I think that is his name? Hannah's- the elder - 'husband' ) really really really should've been given complete short shrift. Selfish man. ( and his woman was called 'Ellen' when he met with Izzy... then Grayson told his mum her name was 'Lisa'... poor continuity or perpetual lies from the absent sperm donor? )
Yeah, from a series ( and the related ones too ) that I liked... think I am done.

AUDIO REVIEW:
Reading a Green Mountain or Butler Vermont book is to me like going home to visit my family. I adore the Abbott and Coleman families and absolutely loved Here, There and Everywhere but knowing this series is coming to a close, I really didn’t want to finish it.
Meeting Cabot at a recent wedding, Izzy was attracted to the distinguished man, even knowing that they lived miles apart. His book was was everything I hoped for and so much more that I listened to this one in almost one sitting. I was absolutely riveted to the story and narration by Avery Caris.
Can Izzy convince Cabot to leave the past in the past and to finally move on? Will Cabot regret his decision to let Izzy in? You’ll have to one click and find out.

Ich kann hier eigentlich nichts anderes schreiben als das Gewohnte. Man bekommt hier in dem Roman alles, was man vom Green Mountan-Universum gewohnt ist. Eine Wohlfühlfamilie, die Möglichkeit auch die Figuren der vorherigen Bände grob mitzubegleiten, Drama, eine wunderbare Liebesgeschichte und ein Traumsetting.
Einen Stern habe ich lediglich wegen der Vorhersehbarkeit abgezogen. Einige Dinge haben mich nicht überraschen können, teilweise habe ich sie sogar vorhergesehen. Nichts desto trotz habe ich die Lektüre sehr genossen, und wie jedes Mal habe ich mir geschworen die Reihe irgendwann zu rereaden.
Die Hörbücher sind übrigens perfekt von Christine Marx eingesprochen worden. Wenn Ihr Hörbücher hört, greift unbedingt dazu.

Plenty of charm to go with the Butler crazy
So much packed into this book, Izzy and Cabot...obviously! They have both had a rough ride in the past but can they leave their demons in the past and tackle the future together? Or will their triggers prove too difficult to overcome? They take a very emotional journey, which will bring you to tears more than once, but this is Butler so we also get new babies, moose, the crazy twins, snowstorms, nosy family members and old wrongs righted as the family continues to grow.

Here, There and Everywhere returns readers to Butler, Vermont and the wonderful Abbott and Coleman families for Isabella and Cabot's story and what a story it is. With a slow burn romance, plenty of family feels, warmth and sweetness. This story had me enthralled and I loved catching up with so many familiar faces including Cabot's daughter Mia and her husband Wade as well as his brother Colton and wife Lucy who welcome a baby in quite spectacular fashion. I would happily recommend.

This book moved very slow. I was honestly sick of both Isabelle and Cabot. I guess I’m sick of hearing about the same family drama again and again in each book. A lot of this book was also about other couples. I am kind of glad that the next book is said to be the last in this series. I love this author and can’t wait to read the next something. I think when you stay in one series to long, they just get stale.

I used to enjoy this writer for this series and some of her others but over the last few books, the writing has been just terrible. It's as if she has no plot and is trying to stretch out the length without anything more to say, so repeats the same thing over and over! It drove me crazy! I enjoy these characters but doubt I will read more.

There was plenty to like about this book. Lot’s of romance between the main protagonists Izzy Coleman and Cabot Lodge, Izzy’s mother Hannah and Lucy’s and Emma’s dad Ray and Izzy’s sister Vanessa and Cameron, Lucy and Emma’s friend Troy. There were the usual appearances by all the Coleman and Abbot cousins and of course an unexpected birth and Fred the giant bull moose. But the treatment of Mia’s mother Deb by all the other characters in this story including Mia herself, soured me on this story.
For those of you who haven’t read Here Comes the Son,Mia’s and Wade’s book, Mia was raised by Deb her single mother and never knew who her father was. When she applied for a job at her husband Wade’s family owned Green Mountain General Store it was discovered that her Social Security number was false which led to her mother confessing that when Mia was two years old she took Mia and went into hiding from her father. She procured false documents for the both of them. Mia’s mother Deb then confessed to Mia that she had always known her father was her ex-husband Cabot Lodge a scion of a prominent Boston family. Mia reunites with her Boston blue blood father who had spent the past 25 years looking for her and living in despair not knowing where his beloved child. Mia’s mother is immediately cast in the role of a villain and vilified by everyone from Lodge and his family, his therapist, Mia and all the Abbotts and Colemans.
But here’s the deal. Deb and Cabot married in a sexual haze when they were twenty-one. Not surprisingly when they came up for air and the haze lifted they realized they’d made a terrible mistake having nothing in common but sexual chemistry. But by then Deb was already pregnant with Mia. When Mia was two, Deb who came from humble means told Cabot she was going to file for divorce. Cabot who had his family’s wealth and influence at his disposal threatened to file for full custody of Mia. So Deb disappeared with Mia before he could take Mia away from her. Over the next twenty-five years Deb kept the secret of who Mia’s father was from her. Part of her motivation was her fear of being arrested for kidnapping. Which is part of my problem with this story line. If Deb left with Mia before Cabot was granted custody, how was it kidnapping? Also, how did Mia’s mother obtain a divorce from Cabot without revealing her location? So as Mia’s story goes when her mother revealed what she had done, even though Mia was furious with her, she made Cabot dropping all kidnapping charges against her a condition of her introducing herself to him. He agrees but even though he’s thrilled to be reunited with his long lost daughter, he’s still consumed with anger and depression whenever he thinks of his ex-wife and how she denied him his daughter for a quarter century and escaped legal prosecution. Even acknowledging to himself what Deb did was partly his fault for heavy handedly threatening to seek full custody doesn’t seem to lessen his hatred for Deb. Nor does the fact that he now has Mia back in his life and she has pretty much banished her mother from her life. It’s been a year since that fateful day when Deb was forced to reveal her secret to Mia and Mia still hasn’t begun to forgive her and has had as little contact with her mother as possible avoiding her phone calls and refusing to respond to her emails. When Deb travels from Arizona to Vermont to try and speak to Mia, Mia refuses to see her. Mia treating her mother like a leper continues through the end of this series. How is it that no one in this story has an ounce of sympathy for the impossible position Deb still in her early twenties was put in? Stay and watch Cabot use his wealth and connections to take her daughter away from her or flee and become a fugitive from the law for the rest of her life raising Mia as a single parent? Why was it considered acceptable for Cabot to because of his family’s influence to take Mia from Deb but Deb doing the only thing she could to keep her daughter wasn’t.
Honestly I had issues from the start with this age gap romance. Cabot Lodge’s very name reeked of stuffy old blue blood money which for me made the Cabot character at 48 years old seem far too old for 35-year-old Izzy Coleman. Izzy was closer to Mia’s age than she was Cabot’s. Cabot’s inability even after years of therapy and having Mia back in his life, to control his emotions when it came to his ex-wife allowing them to throw him into a dark funk didn’t exactly impress me. The thought of Cabot fathering children that he’d be almost seventy or older when they started college seemed to me unfair to them. I was more excited by the idea of a romance between Izzy’s younger sister Vanessa and Troy than I was Izzy’s romance with Cabot.

Ich fande alle Charaktere von Anfang an total sympathisch und liebenswert. Des weiteren gibt es noch ein paar andere Charaktere. . Meiner Meinung nach sind alle Charakter sehr gelungen und haben einen sehr guten Platz im Buch bekommen.

Mir hat der vierzehnte Band der Green Mountain Reihe „ Meine Liebe für dich“ von Marie Force extrem gut gefallen. In diesem Band lernen wir Isabella Coleman und Cabot Lodge kennen. Mir hat die Geschichte von den beiden Hauptprotagonisten sehr gut gefallen. Das Buch war genau nach meinem Geschmack und ich hätte von der Autorin auch nichts anderes erwartet. Ich persönlich liebe die Green Mountain Reihe total. Ich mag den Schreibstil von der Autorin, ihre Storyidee und die Umsetzung, das Setting und das Feeling und die ganzen zauberhaften Charaktere. Nur habe ich langsam die Befürchtung das die Reihe langsam aber sicher vorbei geht. Ich bin absolut verliebt in das Buch und kann „ Meine Liebe für dich“ euch nur sehr empfehlen. Deshalb bekommt das Buch von mir auch sehr verdiente 5 Sterne und eine klare Leseempfehlung.

Das Cover zeigt ein küssendes Paar. Im Hintergrund ist eine herbstliche Umgebung zu sehen. Am Horizont kann man Berge erkennen. Das Cover passt sich gut in die Buchreihe ein und man erkennt sofort wohin die Reise geht.
Meine Liebe für dich von Marie Force ist der 14. Band der Lost in Love Die Green-Mountain-Serie aus dem Fischer Verlag. Im Mittelpunkt steht in diesem Band Isabella Coleman, die in den vorherigen Büchern immer mal wieder als Fotografin auftauchte. An ihrer Seite finde ich Cabot Lodge, den ich schon als Mias Vater kennenlernen durfte.
Das Buch lässt sich nach meiner Einschätzung nicht wirklich unabhängig lesen. Man muss nicht wirklich alle dreizehn Bände kennen, aber das vorherige Buch solltest du gelesen haben. Die Geschichte knüpft nahtlos an und führt damit den Unfall von Izzy und dessen Konsequenzen fort. Neben den Protagonisten tauchen viele liebgewonnene Figuren auf. So bekommt auch Vanessa, die kleine Schwester von Isabella einen gewissen Part samt Liebe. Nicht zu vergessen sind natürlich Linc und Elmar, die sich zum Ziel gesetzt haben alle ihre Kinder bzw. Enkelkinder unter die Haube zu bringen. Bei 18 Enkelkindern haben sie noch ein wenig vor sich.
Ich habe bisher alle Bücher der Reihe verschlungen und so habe ich mich auf einen erneuten Ausflug in den fiktiven Ort Butler gefreut. Gefühlt herrscht immer Winter in Vermont und so heißt es jetzt auch wieder durch den tiefen Schnee stapfen und hoffen, dass kein Elch auf der Straße steht.
Es ist ein Buch bzw. eine Buchreihe die sich sehr gut als Ablenkung zum Alltag eignet. Es wird eine gewisse heile Welt vermittelt, in der jeder die Chance auf die Große Liebe hat. Auch wenn die Liebe natürlich ein paar Hindernisse braucht, so steht das Ende im Prinzip im Vorfeld fest. Ich mag solche Liebesromane. Von Beginn an weiß ich wohin die Reise für Isabella geht und kann mich einfach fallen lassen und das hin und her genießen. Ich habe das Buch verschlungen und konnte es kaum aus der Hand legen. Für ein ganz besondere Spannung wurde oben auf dem Berg gesorgt. Die ich hier nicht weiter ausführen möchte. Sie zeigte wieder den Zusammenhalt der Großfamilie, den ich an dieser Reihe so sehr schätze. Von mir gibt es eine ganz klare Leseempfehlung.

Ich liebe ja die Green Mountain Reihe. Für mich hatte sie bisher nur zwei kleine Ausreißer. Dieser Band hier war so ein Mittelding. Die erste Hälfte war sehr langatmig, weil wenig wirklich passierte und wieder sehr viel über Gedanken und Gespräche lief. Das ganze dann gepaart mit dem doch recht hohen Kitschfaktor, macht es dann nicht ganz so attraktiv wie andere Teile der Reihe.
Hier geht es um Isabella Coleman, von der wir bereits im Vorgängerband erfahren haben, dass sie mit ihrem Auto schwer verunglückt ist. Nun wird sie aus dem Krankenhaus entlassen und braucht Hilfe im täglichen Alltag. Dafür erklärt sich sehr vehement Cabot zuständig. Die beiden habe sich ja auf der Hochzeit von Mia (Cabots Tochter) kennengelernt und dann brach der Kontakt allerdings ab. Das genau er dann plötzlich den Pfleger spielen will, ist schon übertrieben, passt aber zu dem kitschigen Flair der Reihe. Beide haben einen recht hohen Altersunterschied, aber Isabella ist sehr taff und selbstbewusst. Darum wirkt es an keiner Stelle merkwürdig. Cabot hat da schon seine Zweifel und Probleme mit, aber das kommt alles sehr natürlich herüber.
Die beiden sind ein wirklich tolles Paar und die Ups und Downs in der Beziehung werden interessant dargestellt. Vor allem Cabot trägt durch seine schwierige Vergangenheit ein ordentliches Päckchen mit sich rum.
Als Nebengeschichte bekommen wir noch einen kleinen Einblick in das Leben eines zweites Pärchen und wie sich dieses findet.
Die vielen Nebencharaktere mache die Reihe zu so etwas besonderem für mich. Ich liebe die beiden Großfamilie Abbott und Coleman. Da gibt es so viele sympathische und interessante Charaktere drunter.
Auch die Hörbuchfassung kann ich sehr empfehlen, weil die Sprecherin, Christiane Marx, das ganze unglaublich natürlich und angenehm liest. Sie wurde auch über alle Teile beibehalten.
Mit dem nächsten Teil der Reihe wird sie dann abgeschlossen sein und ich freue mich schon darauf.

Nach ihren ersten beiden Treffen ist der Kontakt zwischen Isabella „Izzy“ Coleman und Cabot Lodge abgebrochen. Auch wenn Izzy es nicht zugeben möchte, findet sie es sehr schade. Doch dann steht er nach ihrem Unfall in ihrem Krankenzimmer und besteht darauf sie auch zu Hause zu pflegen. Kann Izzy ihm vertrauen und seinen Versprechen Glauben schenken? Wird es eine weitere Chance für sie geben oder kann Cabot seine Vergangenheit nicht vergessen?

Die beiden haben eine tolle Dynamik zusammen und trotzdem entsteht einiges hin und her, da Cabot erst seine Vergangenheit verarbeiten muss und sich die beiden auch nicht sicher sind, wie Cabots Tochter Mia reagieren wird, die zudem auch mit Izzys Cousin verheiratet ist. Neben den beiden spielen auch diverse bekannte Familienmitglieder eine Rolle und man lernt besonders über Izzys Seite der Familie neues. Neben ihr findet auch ihre Schwester Vanessa die Liebe. Für ein besonderes Highlight sorgen die Familienmitglieder, die auf dem Berg wohnen. Was geschieht wird aber nicht vorher verraten.

"Meine Liebe für Dich" ist der 14 Teil der "Lost in Love. Die Green Mountain" Reihe. Jeder Teil kann unabhängig voneinander gelesen werden. Da es sich hier allerdings um eine riesengroße Familie handelt, gibt es immer ein Wiedersehen und die Geschichten gehen weiter.
Für mich war es auch der erste Teil dieser Reihe den ich gelesen habe, aber ich habe mich vom ersten Moment an so in diese tolle Familie verliebt, das ich mir sofort die ersten sieben Teile schonmal als Print bestellt habe und ich hoffe so schnell wie möglich einfach alle ganz genau kennenlernen zu dürfen.
Ich habe mit dem Lesen an meinem freien Tag, gleich morgens nach dem Aufstehen, noch in meinem Bett angefangen, und war ab dem ersten Satz an das Buch gefesselt und bin auch erst aufgestanden nachdem mein Magen keine Ruhe mehr gegeben hat. Da hatte ich aber schon knapp die Hälfte geschafft, mit dem Rest habe ich es mir nachmittags auf meinem Sofa gemütlich gemacht. Die Seiten sind nur so dahingeflogen. Was mir besonders an dem Buch gefallen hat, das es nicht nur um Isabella und Cabot ging, nein auch ein paar andere Geschichten wurden weiter erzählt, das ich auch ein Grund für mich, warum ich unbedingt auch die anderen ganz kennenlernen möchte.
Der Schreibstil der Autorin hat mir wahnsinnig gut gefallen. Er ist flüssig, leicht und so mitreißend. Einmal damit angefangen ist man einfach süchtig und kann nicht mehr damit aufhören. Dankeschön das ich es lesen durfte.
Nachdem Isabella einen schweren Autounfall hatte, möchte ausgerechnet Cabot, der Schwiegervater ihres Cousins, ihr helfen. Für mich war es auch der erste Teil dieser Reihe den ich gelesen habe, aber ich habe mich vom ersten Moment an so in diese tolle Familie verliebt, das ich mir sofort die ersten sieben Teile schonmal als Print bestellt habe und ich hoffe so schnell wie möglich einfach alle ganz genau kennenlernen zu dürfen.
Ich habe mit dem Lesen an meinem freien Tag, gleich morgens nach dem Aufstehen, noch in meinem Bett angefangen, und war ab dem ersten Satz an das Buch gefesselt und bin auch erst aufgestanden nachdem mein Magen keine Ruhe mehr gegeben hat. Da hatte ich aber schon knapp die Hälfte geschafft, mit dem Rest habe ich es mir nachmittags auf meinem Sofa gemütlich gemacht. Die Seiten sind nur so dahingeflogen. Was mir besonders an dem Buch gefallen hat, das es nicht nur um Isabella und Cabot ging, nein auch ein paar andere Geschichten wurden weiter erzählt, das ich auch ein Grund für mich, warum ich unbedingt auch die anderen ganz kennenlernen möchte.
Der Schreibstil der Autorin hat mir wahnsinnig gut gefallen. Er ist flüssig, leicht und so mitreißend. Einmal damit angefangen ist man einfach süchtig und kann nicht mehr damit aufhören. Dankeschön das ich es lesen durfte.
Nachdem Isabella einen schweren Autounfall hatte, möchte ausgerechnet Cabot, der Schwiegervater ihres Cousins, ihr helfen. I'm just going to come out and say it because I've been thinking it since Mia's book; Cabot has PTSD plain and simple and it was never talked about or discussed and I hated that he never once (that we saw or heard about) sat down with Mia and told her that as much as he is happy to have her in his life not being able to hold her mother accountable for what she did keeps him in a dark place. But then again, that's kind of been the issue with this series there is no depth to it at all. It is simple, easy, little development character or plot wise, it's simply a week, month, year in the life of these characters, just day to day happenings without any angst or drama and believe me I am so not a drama llama, but I would have enjoyed these books so much more if the characters and their relationships hadn't been so lacking in development.
I've enjoyed Izzy's character and loved when we saw her enjoy time at Mia and Wade's wedding with Mia's dad Cabot and a mention later they saw each other once again. Following a severe accident Cabot moves mountains to get to Izzy's hospital bedside and then announces he plans to stay to see her through recovery but yet he tells Izzy they can't be more (mixed signals much?). I got so frustrated with this story; it was beyond repetitive, Cabot was supposed to be older and wiser (12 years older than Izzy) but at times I felt I was reading a college age character with his inability to see he was hurting someone he supposedly had feelings for and I was over it after the 3rd time but wait...there's more. Seriously done, done, done. I kept hoping for more scenes with Izzy's sister Vanessa and Troy who was in town to see his friends who had all relocated to Butler.

Just shy of a perfect five stars
This story is four and a half ⭐️. This story is a typical in that a lot of stories are rolled up into one. At the end of Come Together we learn that Izzy is in a very serious car accident. Cabot drops everything in Massachusetts to come care for Izzy. What is that about?? Izzy and Cabot met at Mia and Wade’s wedding. Sparks were flying. Several months after the wedding Izzy was in Boston and called a Cabot and they had dinner. End of story. Cabot made no moves on Izzy. Now he wants to be her personal care giver?
Cabot is a mess. In Here Comes the Sun we met Mia, Cabot’s daughter. Mia was kidnapped by her mother for twenty five years. To say Cabot has baggage is an understatement. Mia, not knowing her father made him promise he would not file kidnapping charges against her mother. I believe both Mia and Cabot would like to amend that a bit, but.
Why four and a half stars? The angst on Cabot’s side. He is a mess. Sort of wish-washy. A killer in the business world, a loser in the romance field. Izzy had no head trauma but Cabot is giving her whip lash. I get that Cabot really needs to work things out but….
To make up for it, there’s a new baby on the mountain. Those Abbott twins…..Poor Hannah, just when life is going well with Ray her ex Mike has to show up and screw things up. Vanessa meets Troy, Lucy and Emma’s best friend from NYC. Those sparks took about 13 seconds. Grayson handles a legal issue for Vanessa, then handles another regarding his father for his mom. With Cabot in Butler we see more interaction between Cabot and Mia.

Here, There and Everywhere is book eight of the Butler Vermont Series by Marie Force. It is a continuation of the Green Mountain Series by the same author. I have read Marie Force before, but neither of the abovementioned series. I am eight books into the Butler series. It is good but is too easy for the characters. I like her writing, but it is usually in the form of murder in the Fatal Series and the Quantum Series, so this was new for me. I enjoyed this book.
I DID NOT read the Green Mountain Series first. This is a standalone book, but there are cross-over characters from the other series. Reading the previous books gives you background and a glimpse into the characters. This book is about the Coleman and Abbott families.
The main characters of this book are Isabella Coleman, a renowned photographer, and Cabot Lodge, a successful businessman (and Mia Abbott’s dad). Cabot has had more hurt than one person should have to endure, and Isabella falls in love at first sight. At Wade and Mia’s wedding. They have both been hurt by people they loved. They have both been through therapy which helps them get past their roadblocks.

Ich liebe die Geschichten aus dem Abbott-Coleman-Familien-Universum und auch diese war wieder schön zu lesen. Die Erzählweise war wohlig-warm und unterhaltsam, der Schreibstil flüssig zu lesen. Auch die Charaktere sind sympathisch ausgestaltet. Beide kennen wir schon aus den vorherigen Bänden. Beide haben eine Vergangenheit, die sie bis in die Gegenwart verfolgt und Vertrauen schwer macht.
Izzys Vater hat die Familie mit 8 Kindern einfach verlassen und kaum bis gar keinen Kontakt gehabt. Cabots Ex ist nur der kleinen gemeinsamen Tochter Mia auf und davon und Cabot hat sie erst vor Kurzem wiedergefunden. Nun versucht er, alles nachzuholen und eine enge Beziehung zu ihr aufzubauen.
Da Mia ebenfalls in Butler lebt, da sie in Izzys wunderbar herzliche Großfamilie eingeheiratet hat, verknüpfen sich viele Punkte in Izzys und Cabots Leben... Doch hat ihre Liebe eine tatsächliche Chance?
Auch ein erneuter kurzer Einblick in Lucys und Coltons Leben hat mich sehr erfreut.
Und dann sind da noch Elmer und Lincoln, die sich wieder herrlich kabbeln, wem denn diese Verpaarung zuzuschreiben ist.

Persönliche Meinung:
Ein toller Geschichte, der Vierzehnter Teil konnte mich von sich überzeugen. Neben Isabella und Cabot als Hauptprotagonisten lernt der Leser auch Vanessa die Schwester von Isabella und Mia die Tochter von Cabot besser kennen. Ich fand die Geschichte spannend geschrieben, allerdings ging mir die Geschichte von Vanessa und ihrem Freund ein wenig schnell.Da es in der Story nicht immer nur um die beiden Hauptprotagonisten ging sonder die Geschichte auch von anderen Charaktere weiter erzählt wird bleibt es spannend bis zum Schluss.
Fazit:
Ein toller Vierzehnter Teil, mit einer schönen Liebesgeschichte.
Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Buch.

Isabella is an incredibly smart woman who sometimes seems almost precocious. Equipped with a seemingly limitless understanding of the problems and difficulties of others, she often completely forgets about her own well-being. But when, without warning, she also discovers the dark side of Cabot, she must decide how to protect not only herself from harm, but him as well.
The inner conflict that the main character shows in this novel is shown sensitively and patiently by the author, but on the other hand the mood was too low for me. And that had a clear impact on the other characters. I'm also constantly wondering when Mia's mother will finally be held accountable for her criminal behavior. Because she walks around freely in this series without consequences and throws others into emotional problems. Not fair.
A solid novel, which unfortunately has a major weak point and therefore, seen from the logical side, could not convince me at all. This series is known for its soulful, romantic and absolutely great characters. Unfortunately, not here. Too bad, but maybe the next part will be a page turner for me again.
