For a quick read this prequel sucks you right, you get to know and love the Winslow family and see what amazing parents Thomas and Beth are. Just when you are fully into things it ends with a bang and has you wanting and needing to pick up and read the next book to see what happens next. I look forward
to reading the rest of the series and see what happens to the Winslow boys.

Well that short little preview broke my heart a d made me cry. I can't wait for the series now. Sweet Beth and tall, handsome, protective, brave Thomas have a loving family and a beautiful home life. Such emotion in so few words. I love this beginning.

This story was so heartbreaking thank God for Thomas and his family who took in Harley the friend of his son. Harley has a rough life with parents who do not take care of him. Tje entire family takes care of Harley. Thos was a great heartwarming story of love and compassion.

Such a Heartwarming prequel!

This prequel was the best. Heartwarming story. The love of a family, reaching out to love a poor lost little boy who was being abused. A friend of their son. Two young boys who loved life & each other. The Winslows have hearts of gold. This story struck home with me. All children need to be loved & protected. Can't wait for this next book.

This prequel was wrong so many levels! Loved the flashbacks. How things came to be did you really have to leave it hanging? NEEDLESS to say there is a major cliffhanger. Makes you need to read the series. Kudos
