There are storytellers, and then there’s Tom Turner!
Enjoy this collection of tales of the old west, some with a few surprises! Tom has lived a full life so has a lot of stories to tell. Nearing his 100th birthday, he’s trying to tell as many of them as he can. Problem is, no one believes him! They think he’s making them up. But when the rest home he’s in hires a new attendant, he finds a listening pair of ears that begin to hear the real tales being told. Will she believe the magic and wonder his stories hold? Find out in Tom’s first set of tales of adventure, laughter, love and a little something special.
Kit Morgan, aka Geralyn Beauchamp, has been writing for fun all of her life. When writing as Geralyn Beauchamp, her books are epic, adventurous, romantic fantasy at its best. When writing as Kit Morgan they are whimsical, fun, inspirational sweet and clean stories that depict a strong sense of family and community. 'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides books and the first in the series of a long line of stories about Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! Get to know the townsfolk in Clear Creek and come sit a spell!
NOTE: Hi folks, it has come to my attention there is an erotica book floating around out there written under the name Kit Morgan. IT IS NOT MY BOOK! I do not, and never will, write in that genre.
Can you fall in love with a book (a story) that is not a romance? At least it isn’t yet though there is some romantic side notes woven through. Heck yes you can when it has adventure and fantasy and history and a heartwarming story of a single mom to boot. Cannot wait for the next installment of The Tales of Tom Turner. Besides that I had to stop and make a pot roast smack dab in the middle of reading this book. I think it was Kit Morgan’s character Irene Dunnigan using some kind of power of persuasion.
I am so glad this included the older folks from Clear Creek going to England! I was afraid I'd missed that one. I'm also glad Irene did what she did.. This way my favorite characters can remain a while. I was saddened, though, because Tom has aged some. But after the last story.. how much? Now, hopefully Dallan and Shona will do the same for Harlan and Ma Weaver.
This book made my heart smile. Clear Creek fans need to read this one.
I don’t want to give anything away here, so this is going to sound annoying & cryptic. When i started reading this, I thought Oh No! My eyes teared up, nose started running, tissue box came out. But once i realised what was going on, this became the absolute best. If you’re a fan of the original Clear Creek inhabitants, the Cooks, Dinnigans, Doc & Grandma etc, you really need to read this. <3 :)
I started reading Kit’s and Geraldyns books during quarantine last year and honestly these characters feel like family to me. I love how they are woven through so many different series and I am super excited to see where this series takes them!!!
As a follower of all the series I thoroughly enjoy reading these short stories by Tom. He is a great story teller. Waiting for book 2 is going to be so pop-up stressful. Love the cover. Quite the hunk.
Tom Turner had some good tales to tell, and he told them wonderful, I enjoyed reading about Mrs. Dunnigan and all the folks from Clear Creek. Thank you Kit Morgan
What a delightful collage of stories told by Tom Turner about the entertaining Clear Creak main settlers/members highlighted is Iren Dunnigan. It is a story within a story ( or could be story) Tom tells these laugh out loud tales ( most from snap shots of them from previous books) to Paige one of the nursing aids at an assisted living type place. This takes place in modern time, so question is why and how is Tom still alive?? And will Paige find a hea of her own, or at least get down to 1 job and spend more time with her family?? Hopefully we will have the answers in future books in this series.
