EXCERPT: Darby was more than halfway through her thirties. Shouldn't she have a better grasp on life by now? Shouldn't she have a clearer idea of who she wanted to be and how to actually become that person?

Other people her age had careers, families, schedules that held them accountable. Darby had two slightly dysfunctional best friends and a disaster of an online business.

Damn it. Her life was a joke.

ABOUT 'THE SELLING POINT': Darby Zamora has always gotten by with work that suits her unique way of life, but success hasn't exactly come easy. A former bridal seamstress, Darby gave up making custom gowns years ago. Her heart was always too big for her business's pocketbook, until she comes up with a way to make an old business new again: The Un-Do Wedding Boutique.

Selling dresses online in her bridal consignment shop has merchandise flying off the virtual shelves. People are lining up not only to buy the dress overstock that Darby's been holding onto, but she has new clients desperate for her to help them re-sell their unused wedding items.

But success comes at a steep price when ghosts from her past resurface and make Darby and her new company confront harsh realities of life and business. With the help of her friends Jade and Taylor, Darby is forced to reassess her business, rediscover herself, and ultimately find her selling point.

MY THOUGHTS: I loved The Restarting Point, the first book in this trilogy, and The Selling Point is every bit as good. I loved that this is centred on Darby, the flamboyant, fun, throwback to the 1950s.

As with the first book, I laughed, I cried, and shook my head at the antics of these three friends. Darby is one of those delightfully enthusiastic people who never stop to think things through. She jumps into her projects feet first, only to find herself neck deep in quicksand. She did it with her rental cottage, and now she's done the same with her online bridal boutique selling wedding dresses that were never worn. Thank goodness she has the sensible Jade and practical Taylor to keep her on the straight and narrow.

I love the way these three have each other's backs. As well as Darby's downfall, Jade and Taylor also face their own problems and, without fail, they are always there to provide support for one another. I love the way they spend time together, strengthening their bonds, and making memories. Whether they're eating icecream, or drinking margaritas, laughing, or mopping up tears, they are doing it together.

I would have liked to have seen a little more of Parker, who makes an appearance early on in The Selling Point, after having her baby, but then just disappears.🤷‍♀️

I hope that you are busily writing #3 in the Chammont Point series, Marci. I am eagerly awaiting it.

The Selling Point
author: Marci Bolden
Pink Sand Press

The Selling Point is the second book in Marci Bolden's Chammont Point series. Set in a quiet cove on Chammont Lake in Eastern Virginia, Bolden's series is about three friends, who are different as can be, yet closely bonded as they navigate choices about their careers, romances, lifestyles, and pasts.
Jade is smart, responsible and adventurous, while Taylor likes history and architecture and tends to overthink things. This book focuses on Darby, a seamstress who struggles with insecurities and anxiety. She is the owner of the online Un-Do Wedding Boutique, selling wedding dresses from cancelled ceremonies. She is forced to confront her selling points, having to look deep within herself in her business decisions and the impact they have on individuals involved.
I love books about deep female friendships, who accept each other's flaws and mistakes and celebrate their achievements and successes, both personally and professionally. These three friends frequently find themselves at Harper's ice cream shop when things get stressful, for therapeutic talks over ice cream sundaes. They also know the value of gathering and chatting in their cabin community over a grilled dinner prepared together, movie night, or S'mores around a bonfire.
I read this book first, but I want to go back to listen on audiobook to The Restarting Point, the first in the Chammont Point series. It focuses on Jade's story, and I want to revisit Chammont Point again and see what's next for friends Darby, Jade, and Taylor.
Thank you to Net Galley and Pink Sand Press for the advance reader's copy of this book and the opportunity to provide my unbiased review.

The Selling Point is the second book in the Chammont Point series by Marci Bolden. This can be read as a stand alone, but I think you'll get more enjoyment out of it if you've read The Restarting Point first.

This book centers on Darby Zamora who is flashy, eccentric and beats to her own drum. She's had a lot of different jobs and currently she's running an online wedding dress boutique that's filled with dresses of brides who ended up cancelling their nuptials for one reason or another. She really wants it to take off and so when she's given the opportunity to go on a podcast hosted by a famous podcaster, she couldn't be more thrilled. What she ends up getting out of that is much different than what she was expecting - the nasty comments start rolling in on the website and on social media calling her out for capitalizing on other people's misfortune.

Darby doesn't quite it see it the way those sharing their opinions do, but during the upheaval, she turns to her two best friends, Jade and Taylor, who help her through all that is happening. We also get to see a very different side of Darby. We begin to understand why she's the way she is and that there is a lot more to her than what she typically shows to everyone in her orbit.

There were a few times I wanted to shake Darby, as I felt like she just couldn't see what was right in front of her, but that was one reason too, why I love the friendship between Darby, Taylor and Jade so much. In their own ways, Jade and Taylor helped Darby to see how the way she was thinking about things might be contributing to some of what was happening. It showed the power of having people in your corner and being thankful for those that always stick by your side.

This was another wonderful offering by Marci Bolden and I'm really looking forward to the next book!

The Selling Point is the second novel in the Chammont Point series. In the first we did a deep dive into Jade's life after her husband left her. This book is about Darby and her unusual wedding dress company. Darby started the Un-Do Wedding Boutique as an online consignment shop to sell the wedding dresses that she had made for brides whose weddings were cancelled. The tagline for each dress included the story on why each bride was jilted. All was well until she went onto a podcast and told some of the dress stories, then onto another that made her look heartless and vicious for repeating and profiting from the brides' tragedies.

Darby handles this mess with the help of her best friends Jade and Taylor. These ladies have known each other for a year, but have become sisters...the kind of friends every woman wants! I enjoy spending time with them, they have become like family...and have made me realize that summer is almost over and I haven't been to a lake or down the shore yet! An excellent summer read that can be read as a standalone but is really better if you've read the first book! Thank you to the author, Pink Sand Press and NetGalley for an ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

I enjoyed being back in Chammont Point with Jade, Darby, & Taylor. They are encountering more changes in their lives. The second book centers mostly around Darby, who grew up being bullied and did her best not to be noticed. Darby hasn't had a lot of luck with her business ventures. Her latest one Un-Do Wedding Boutique is struggling. So, Darby fills out an online form to get a guest spotlight on the Noah Joplin show.

Things don't go as well as Darby hopes unaware that the stories she is sharing are hurtful. Jade & Taylor try to get Darby to see a different perspective. It's not until along with some positive comments on her sites, there's some nasty ones. When an old high school classmate reaches out and asks for an interview, Darby jumps thinking she can explain and repair some of the damage. This time, things are even worse and Darby just wants to hide. Darby does a lot of soul searching and sets out to make amends.

Jade is still wounded from her divorce pushes Liam away to the point that Liam breaks up with Jade even though they weren't together. Taylor's business is struggling and she's getting pity jobs. She is thinking it's time to look for other job opportunities.

I love how they all gather around one another to support, and I smiled at all the ice cream runs. Ice cream makes everything better, right? I like seeing Darby's growth in this book. I laughed how a little nudge from Darby and Taylor, literally sent Jade flying to overcome her indecision. The ending foretells another adventure among all three friends and I look forward to see where it takes them in the next book in the series.

I received an ARC from NetGalley via Pink Sand Press and I have voluntarily reviewed this book.

A sweet book! I hadn't read the original book, but I could still follow along. Reading the original book would be useful in understanding the characters and setting more, however, I felt I really got to know the characters and the setting was beautifully portrayed. I definitely recommend this to people who enjoy women's fiction. Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The Selling Point is the second book in the women’s fiction Chammont Point Series by Marci Bolden concerning three women who form a tight friendship. Honestly these three are perfect friends but ones I wouldn’t expect to be so. The first book was Jade Kelly’s story, how she came to Chammont Point, how she met Darby Zamora along with Taylor O’Shea and why she stayed there. Three more different women couldn’t be found but they always have each other’s back as they experience the growing pains of new beginnings while overcoming the past.

None is more crippled by her past then Darby Zamora. On the outside she looks cheerful and carefree but on the inside she has unhealed wounds from cruel school bullies and her mother’s death years ago. My heart went out to this young woman whose own thoughts seem to hold her hostage. Good thing she had Jade and Taylor not just to set her straight but to stand by her side and hold her up too. I will admit that she was thoughtless in her marketing concept for her bridal consignment shop, The Un-Do Wedding Boutique. However, Sue’s reaction was too far out of the normal range. Some serious therapy is needed for her.

I haven’t read anything by Marci Bolden that I didn’t like, The Selling Point is no different. However, I did think a lot of the story focused on Darby’s internal mental battles and the need to comfort herself with food. Neither are healthy. Taylor is the opposite of Darby so it will be interesting to see how her story goes next.

This is the second book in the Chammont Point series and focuses mainly on Darby. Darby is a flashy gal who owns a bridal gown business. In her attempt to sell gowns that ended up not being purchased due to the weddings being cancelled for various reasons, she discloses the stories of what happened to the brides (without giving names). Her friends, Jade and Taylor try to reign her in, but she joyfully tells the stories in a radio interview and instantly becomes a pariah on social media, with the nasty comments showing up faster on her site than she can delete. The depression that has plagued her off and on during her life rears it's ugly head and sends her into a tailspin.

The story tells her struggle with coming to terms with how others see her actions as inappropriate and as taking advantage of the misfortune and heartache of others. She has to turn deeply inward in order evaluate the reasons and results of her actions, her resulting depression, as well as the reasons behind her brightly colored hair and her unusual choice of clothing. It's a painful journey, but her friends support her and in the end she faces the fact that she needs help with her depression.

This could definitely be read as a standalone, but I strongly suggest starting with the first book of the series.

I was gifted a copy of this book via the author and NetGalley. All thoughts are my own.

Darby Zamora developed a website “the Un-Do Wedding Boutique” to sell bridal gowns that she made and was not paid for as the weddings were cancelled. When asked to appear on a pod cast about her unique business, she agrees. Her unplanned remarks as to why the weddings were cancelled has produced negative comments on her website. Shouldn’t she have known that in a small town like Chammont Point, that others would connect the cancelled wedding to the bride thereby causing further embarrassment for the bride? Her friends Taylor and Jade tried to explain to her the unintentional harm that she may have caused, but it took too long for her to grasp that reality. In the meantime, Taylor is concerned about having difficulties obtaining contracting jobs while Liam is ready for Jade to move on to the next level in their relationship, but is she ready? I enjoyed the story, but it seemed to dwell too long on Darby’s refusal to accept what she had inadvertently done. I enjoyed the sincere friendship between the three women and look forward to their next venture. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. This is the second book in this series but could be read as a complete standalone. I absolutely LOVED the first book and enjoyed this one but not as much as the first one. The writing is amazing and the story itself is great but I wasn't sure why Darby all of a sudden seemed like a high school girl. She didn't seem like that in the first book, so not sure what happened to her but I still enjoyed this story. I feel like these three friends have gone through so much together and I love how they stick together through it all and really have each other's backs. Everybody should have friends as good as Jade and Taylor and Darby. I know I want friends like that! I absolutely cannot wait for book three (Taylor's book) to find out more about Taylor and get a better understanding of how she operates and why. She may just end up being my favorite! This would make a great beach read or before bed read as it's not super deep or extremely thought provoking where you want to keep reading or stay up hours to ponder what you are reading. Ms. Bolden is a fantastic writer who writes very realistic stories and creates beautiful stories and characters for her readers to cherish.

What Marci Bolden does so well is write real women, with real issues, real feelings and real self-esteem issues and doubts. This story is no different. If you've read The Restarting Point you will already be familiar with Jade's story and how Jade, Darby and Taylor become friends. If you haven't read it, this story will give you enough background that you won't feel lost. The Selling Point centers on Darby who marches to the beat of her own drum, at least to those who don't know her. But deep inside, the outside is a cover up to protect her from the pain of her past. She finally feels like she has her life figured out when the bottom once again falls out and it's not at all how she ever expected it would. She has some major soul searching to do but the love of her friends will help her get through it, although it may not be exactly as easy as she hopes. I saw plenty of myself in Darby, including the faux pas that she didn't realize would be so damaging. Heartwarming story of friends who stick by each other even when they want to be left alone to wallow, knowing that eventually the answers can be found in the stars.

The Selling Point is Book 2 in the Chammont Point Series by Marci Bolden. This book is about real friendships between three very different women. The first book, The Restarting Point introduced all three friends but focused on Jade’s story. This book is Darby’s story. Darby is an quirky girl, dresses like she right out of the 1950’s. She is an unlucky person and always acts before she thinks about anything and ends up in the most peculiar predicaments! Their friendships and loyalties leaves them only a phone call away from each other which is very good for all of them! They are always there from each other. Bolden has a gift in her writing skills as she will always make you feel like you are right there with her well developed characters. She will take you to Chammont Point and you will not want to leave! I have read quite a few books by Marci Bolden and have enjoyed each and everyone of them. I highly recommend this heartwarming story and recommend you read this series by her or any of her books! You will not be disappointed!!

Thank you NetGalley, Pink Sands Press and Marci Bolden for allowing me to read and review this amazing story in exchange for an honest review. I look forward to the next one.

One question? When does book number three come out! I love the women in this series! Darby, Taylor and Jade are so relatable and their friendship is one for the times. They are all so unique, their personalities completely different from each other and their friendship is so strong. They have each other’s backs through and through. They compliment each other well, each brining their own strengths and weaknesses to the friendship.

In book #2 we get to know Darby on a whole new level, and understand where her insecurities come from. Her quirky style, her depression and how she truly feels about herself. You go on quite the emotional roller coaster with Darby and her friends.

We get to see her friends rally around her, support her and make sure she is taken care of. This book hits on some very hard topics and the writer did a great job making the reader feel what Darby was feeling and rooting for her to overcome the obstacles that standing in her way.

The Selling Point is wonderful. This is the second book of the Chammont Point series and is primarily focus is Darby. Darby is somewhat of a hot mess with not much direction in life and always changing. She is uniquely wonderful and so full of life. You get to know a whole different side of Darby that will give you these feels and a better understanding of why Darby is the way she is. You feel for her and how not always sees the bigger picture. You will love the support of Jade and Taylor in this one as Darby navigates her business. There are plenty of those feeling moments when it comes to these ladies that you will just love. I love the spunk Darby has and your heart hurts for her with everything thing she goes through. I love getting to know Darby, Jade and Taylor a little more in each book. I'm so looking forward to Taylors book next. I love this series so much. You have such strong ladies who may be down on their luck lifting each other up and creating an amazing bond. The author continues the stories of three friends pushing through life and this one focuses more on Darby. I could feel her hesitation in everything and understand her predicament. I love that the story focuses on the friendships but also, of life. Life is not easy and there are moments where we feel like everything is going wrong. The author does a great job of bringing the balance to the story and giving us a feel-good story while also leaving us wanting more.

This book tells Darby Zamora's story, but it also tells the story of how she became who she is today. As she created her online bridal gown business, she came to some realizations, that not everyone liked her selling points, and some really hated them. Darby at first couldn't understand, but her friends, Jade and Taylor, helped her see things differently.
Once she could see things differently, she had to make some choices. One of the choices she made was to apologize to those she hurt, but there was also she chose to have a meeting with the ones that had hurt her. A lot of good came out of it, but Darby was good at coming up with ideas on how to make a living, but she didn't have a business sense. She learned a lot of things along the way, about herself, why she was the way she was, but she was also struggling to fit in.
When she decided to close the bridal gown online website, she came up with another idea for her and her two friends to go into business together. I enjoyed the book because Darby, Jade, and Taylor, stopped and looked at themselves, who they were, who they were now, and who they wanted to be in the future. Sometimes, they had to admit they made a mistake, and they had to find a way to make it right, because they didn't like feeling the way they were feeling. Sometimes they had to find the courage to go for something. It just seemed like such an honest way of living life.

The Selling Point by Marci Bolden is the second book in the Chammont Point series. In this story, we see the unique Darby Zamora take center stage. She has marched to a different drum. First as an outcast in high school to the brightly dressed free spirit adult, Darby has always worked jobs that suited her unique way of life. Success hasn’t been a sure thing. With many different failed ventures under her belt, she is always looking for and willing to do the next job to reinvent herself. A former bridal seamstress, Darby gave up making custom gowns as her heart was always too big for her pocketbook. Until she comes up with an idea that would make the old new again: The Un-Do Wedding Boutique with the tagline of Her bad luck is Your great deal. Selling dresses online in her bridal consignment shop has been a success. People are lining up to buy the dresses as well as desperate brides are trying to sell their unused wedding items. It is such a success that she is featured on a popular podcast. But Darby is about to pay a steep price as someone takes offense with Darby’s use of her story to sell dresses. She must face the harsh realities of life and business. With the help of her friends, Jade and Taylor, will Darby be able to reassess her business, herself, and find her selling point?
I loved Darby with her willingness to be so vibrant in a subdued world. But that vibrantness covers a deeply hurt and wounded soul. I related to her story as she tries to justify her actions, insisting she never intended to hurt anyone before realizing that her intentions may have been good, the results still caused pain. Throughout the story, I wanted to reach through the pages and hug Darby and fight by her side as she tries to save her business and ultimately herself. We often think of bullying as a schoolyard problem but adults still suffer from bullying known today as cancel culture. I understood the outrage against her use of the brides’ embarrassing and heartbreaking stories, I didn’t understand the argument against Darby selling the dresses she made for these weddings. But when someone has been so deeply hurt, they will take their pain out on anyone, regardless if they deserve it or not. I also loved the friendship between the three unlikely friends: Jade, the straightlaced, motherly type who is still reeling from her own heartbreak (featured in book 1) and the gruff Taylor, who has had her own share of heartbreak and disappointment (her story will hopefully be featured in the upcoming book 3). Overall, I enjoyed the story of being true to yourself, friendship and finding your purpose. I highly recommend The Selling Point.

This is book two in The Chammont Point Series and it is Darby's story along with her best friends Jade and Taylor who have there own problems to cope with and it is definitely a must read. Darby has a on line clothes store and needed some help to make it more popular to bring in extra money so she filled out a form to present her on line store The Un-Do Wedding Boutique on The Noah Joplin Show and Darby was delighted her business was selected and Jade and Taylor were going with her for moral support but just when you think everything will be alright disaster strikes and Darby is thrown for a loop when things go from bad to worse and Darby with the help of Jade and Taylor needs to look at everything in her life and decide what to do next. Darby has learned a lot about herself and it was really great how much Darby grows as you read through out this book. Jade and Taylor have there own problems but they are still there for Darby when she reached rock bottom. These three friends are so different from each other but the support and love they have for each other regardless of the situations seriously makes your heart feel so full. Marco Holden is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and on the edge of their seats and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing and and I definitely recommend you read this book but remember that you will need to read book one first to get all the background history but it is definitely worth it.

This book is the second in the Chammont Point series, but don't let that deter you. There are enough background details included that you can easily catch up with Jade, Darby and Taylor!

The focus of this installment is Darby Zamora, the owner of an online bridal boutique. She sells dresses that she handmade for brides who then cancelled their ceremonies for various reasons. While Darby doesn't use their names on her website, she does provide details about the reasons the ceremonies were cancelled. Thinking nothing was bad about that marketing scheme, Darby applies for and gets invited onto a local program and repeats the same stories to a much larger audience, prompting lots of negative comments online.

While I enjoyed the book and the way it all resolved, I was a bit annoyed at Darby, who I liked in the first book. She is in her late 30's, yet she sees nothing wrong with the way she writes about her former customers. She was a target of bullies all her younger life, but doesn't see what she did as bullying, or even just mean. It disappointed me that it took her 1/2 of the book to realize what her friends were telling her from the start.

Looking forward to the next book to see how life changes now for Jade and Liam, and for Taylor's story.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

This is the second book in the series . The book centres on three women who became best friends in the first book. Jade who is divorced, Darby who loves to dress in 50’s clothes and Taylor a carpenter and contractor. This book has Darby as the main focus while Jade was the main focus of the first book. You don’t have to read the first book to read this one but it would help to know the characters better. Each woman is extremely different in personality, lifestyle and style of dressing which adds to the story and makes them realistic. Darby struggles to find something to do for a living and jumps from one thing to another. This time she feels she has found her calling but things fall apart drastically and she needs all the help she can get from her friends to survive. The author gives us a deeper look into Darby’s life and what has happened to her in the past. In the first book she was a barrel of laughs but this time she has changed a lot. I understand delving deeper into her life but the story came across as sad and depressing. Her situation seemed to be dragged out until I was tired of hearing about it. I feel her storyline could have been handled differently so that one would cheer for her instead of thinking, just deal with it. I definitely enjoyed the first book more than this one.

“The answers are in the stars, little one, her mom would say. All you have to do is look up and listen with your heart.”

The Selling Point is the second book in the Chammont Point series by Marci Bolden. Returning to Chammont Lake in Eastern Virginia was like a breath of fresh air. Being reacquainted with Jade, Darby, and Taylor was like bonding with your besties that you haven’t seen in a little while.

Last time we were together in the last book, we focused on Jade Kelly’s story and how she ended up in Chammont Point. This time around we focus on Darby Zamora. She’s a bit eccentric wearing old fashions with a pop of color to showcase her very own unique style. Growing up she was bullied and made to feel like she didn’t matter which lead to her insecurities about herself. This followed her into her adult life with the different jobs that she tried. She was always trying to find her niche (selling point). She therefore starts her online store, Undo Wedding Boutique, trying to sell castoff wedding dresses that she sewed herself but never sold because of cancelled engagements. She’s asked to be a guest on the Noah Joplin Show and in hopes this will increase her sales. She shares stories that are tag lines that go along with each dress but it’s taken the wrong way so she much reconcile herself. Will she come up with a plan so people will realize that she didn’t intend to hurt anyone?

My heart really empathized with Darby. I also went through a period of time dealing with bullies in junior high. So this story really hit home for me. Insecurities can follow you through adulthood making you feel like you don’t matter because words do hurt. Luckily Darby has two great friends that are there for her and help her get through her hurt feelings. They even go to a local ice cream shop to bond over ice cream and help Darby feel better. These friends show mutual support for one another through all their successes and mistakes. I’ve learned friends never judge you in the wrong way. Mrs. Bolden did a very good job describing the true meaning of friendships.

I can’t wait for the next book in the series that will focus on Taylor. She’s struggling with her job and trying to find jobs that will pay decently. I’m looking forward to more adventures amongst these three friends that are like sisters to one another. I received a complimentary copy from NetGalley through Pink Sand Press. I was under no obligation to leave a positive review. All opinions stated here are my own.

Darby's sad story!

The Chammont Point Series is about the friendship of three very different women. This book is about Darby, the one who looks like a 1950s pinup girl with bright red hair and dresses from that era. Darby always acts before she thinks, therefore, getting herself into odd predicaments. But the one that has her thinking over her life's choices is when she starts the Un-Do Wedding Boutique where she sells the wedding dresses of the weddings that didn't happen and she posts the story for each dress ... not realizing the damage this will do.

We hear about Darby being bullied in high school and the effect it had on her ... which was very realistic, I just thought that the point was repeated way too often. Although I enjoyed the story, I just felt like it could have been more. I must say i liked the first book (which was Jade's story) better. But I will be excited to read about Taylor, the tough one who is a contractor.

I received an early copy courtesy of Pink Sand Press through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

The Selling Point is book 2 in the Chammont Point Series. This is a great addition to the series which is about 3 women on life journeys that haven’t quite turned out like they planned.

This is Darby’s story and she’s quite a character…quite frustrating and stubborn actually. She has come up with a new business idea that sounds great but she does not execute it in the best manner. Her friends Jade and Taylor try to help her see what she could have done differently but Darby digs her heals in. While both Jade and Tiffany are going through their own turmoil they do their best to help Darcy.

To be honest…I would not have been as patient with Darby. But she eventually understands what she needs to do…actually the three of them learn some good lessons.

I requested an arc and I’m leaving my honest review.

This is book two in the series but can be read as a stand alone. Darby and her friends Jude and Taylor are relatable characters. Darby was bullied in high school and didn't have any friends. She is now in her thirties and has found her look, and friends, but is still looking for the perfect job. When her website The Un-Do Wedding Boutique starts getting hurtful and mean messages, Darby starts remembering those high school bullying days.
Her two friends rally around her to help her. The three friends are always there for each other and work together to solve their problems. I like that they meet at Harper's Ice Cream when one of them has a crisis. We all know ice cream makes everything better!

Even though this is the second book in the Chammont Point series and I have not read the first, I had no issue reading "The Selling Point" as a standalone. I was immediately captivated and stayed totally involved in all that was happening from beginning to end. I liked Darby Zamora and enjoyed her dynamic with her best friends, Jade Kelly and Taylor O'Shea and shared all their ups and downs with them. If you enjoy well written fiction about true friendship, you will enjoy this book. I received an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

The Selling Point is the second book in the Chammont Lakes series. We follow the lives of three unlikely friends, all with their quirks and broken pieces. This is Darbys story.
She's trying to find her fit in life, which you'd expect to have already happened since she's in her thirties. Yet Darby seems to have trouble getting things to stick. Some can be attributed to her issues while growing up, let's face it high school can be brutal. And when she's finally found something that works, the world decides to lash back and force her to examine her choices.
