Judah and Raina were probably my favorite couple in this series!! Initially their vibe gave enemies to lovers however when you found out what they REALLY were to each other it was a yassssssssss you better claim your woman!!!
Judah and Raina were on the opposite sides of this gang war that is clearly under way! They’ve both been tasked with the responsibility of taking each other out but instead, formed a deep bond basically saying fk this war!
This was definitely an On the Run part 2 type of love story! 🎶 I will hold your heart and your gun 🎶 Ayeeeeeee a perfectly imperfect love story! 🥰❤️🔥
This also felt like the most complete short in this series! Despite the way they dipped and how they left every one else’s lives in shambles, all was right in their world and that’s alright with me!
Judah and Riana were not playing. When they said they were getting out of the gang life, they meant that! Their love for each other and the need for normalcy surpassed their allegiance to their gangs. I just hope it lasts for them because, the war between the Knights and the Monarchs is about to get ugly.
“With everything in me, every fiber of me loved him.” Oh my goodness Judah & Riana. Aubree Pynn is a Queen of the art of novella writing. This was less than 50 pages yet packed such an emotional gut punch and was sexy as hell. Judah and Riana were two people who chose love and peace over all the other foolishness. I do recommend reading this series in order because things are happening and in this book you really see puzzle pieces beginning to make sense.
Judah and Raina were on some us against the world type ish. Despite knowing that the lengths they were taking to be together would cause even more fall out, they chose each other. They chose freedom and a life together above all else.
This book right here is so crazy there is some craziness about to start I’m ready for all of it I love how the connection with all the characters are so Pitt you can feel it
We had the pleasure of interviewing Aubree Pynn on our facebook group show 'Reigning Words Book Review Lounge'... These were an entertaining quick read - Judah is book 3 of 4 books in Aubree Pynn's Lavendale approx. 200 pg series. Judah is the 3rd of 4 brothers -the Knights - whose lives revolve around their roles in their club 'Flame', within their 'crew' & with their queens. In every group, there's usually one who's trying to choose between the life they're used to and life with the woman of their dreams. Judah is at this crossroads and unfortunately his choice may wreak havoc on many lives...Will he choose loyalty to his brothers or life with his queen and does life with his queen really mean being disloyal to his brothers after all?
Though the stories are short we get a good glimpse into every aspect of their lives and personalities. Love scenes were raw and steamy. The storyline builds in each book with a bit of neighborhood background of their city thrown in which. The story leaves us wanting more and I can't wait until another story in this series drops later this year. The author is known for multiple books back to back so maybe we'll get more than one book to continue this series that leaves us with questions as to what's gonna happen next! I love books that highlight different characters and in this one my favorite would be Menace (book 4) something about him stirred my soul. He was pretty intense to me! This series definitely makes you want to meet the whole city as I don't know about you but I love to know every intricate detail of the background of relationships, bonds etc. So I definitely plan on reading her other 12 book series which involves the 'crew' that are not fans of guys on this side of town! Wtih that being said I'm heading to the HIlls soon to explore this 12 book series! (Ganton Hills to be exact;)
Things definitely came into focus after reading this. While I completely understand Judah’s motives I believe what he and Riana did were incredibly selfish because there will be repercussions for their actions. Judah put everyone in harms way doing what he did and I don’t like that. This was an incredibly well written story however. Judah is a must-read for those who appreciate immersive fantasy novels that delve into themes of honor and love in a world brimming with knights and queens. Aubree Pynn's work is a testament to her storytelling prowess, and Lavendale is a realm that will linger in readers' minds long after they've turned the final page.
And the war is fully in motion. All these pieces to a puzzle that I can’t quite put together. Judah wasn’t having no parts of this war and the life. He was over it. Wanted peace and a family and no drama and he was willing to do anything to do it. Even deceive his affiliation. She was a monarch sent to do a hit and fell in love with her target. How do you turn your back on all you know? What’s more important in the hierarchy of things/people? These two decided they were willing to risk it all
Basically a gangsta Romeo and Juliet inspired story. This is the third short book in the Lavendale series. Riana and Judah are caught in a war between their gangs. Having had enough of the double life they make a plan to get out.
I honestly think the overall story would flow better if the author would of just did one book with these characters. Like I said in a previous review we are getting really short pictures of the overall character but in my opinion not enough. Like how did this war start? I would of like to see the characters development but again that would require a longer book.
Damn! This short was quick and intense! Riana and Judah had an undeniable love, that went beyond the alliances and loyalties that they were supposed to adhere to. Glad that they were able to get away. But, I have a feeling that it will not be so easy. This war thang is going to get ugly, and they might find themselves right back in the thick of things. Can't wait to see what else you have in store! 👍👍👍
Well Judah and Riana are definitely interesting and will their love survive this war? I was blown away by these two and trying to decide if they were for real or a set up🤨. One thing is for sure I don’t think the gang life is done with them and things just heated up and how will they find their way out 🔥. Also, Judah is a beast inside and outside he definitely will have you hot and bothered 🥰
“Judah” & Riana story has me conflicted again. I respect the Judah’s motive and principle for getting out of Lavendale/Knights gang. …for love. However, his (their) actions (not original, but ingenious) will have catastrophic repercussions for those left behind. …blood for blood. DAMN🤦🏾♀️‼️.. Lavendale vs Ganton Hills series something’s still missing 🤷🏾♀️‼️
Ms Pynn has knack for giving us just enough to want more🔥📝. I loved Riana and Judah. Their love was undeniable.💗😘 I hope they get a final HEA once this inevitable war comes to fruition. I love The Hills and now Lavendale. I hope I don't have to choose🤔😢,
This was a great read. I loved the Judah & Raina together. I was going their love would being these rivals together. I hour to get more of their love and family.
How did AP manage to turn me on, twist me up in knots, warm my heart and thicken the damn plot in less than 35 pages?!? HOW?!? We’ve been left on a cliff BUT it’s worth it! Whew!
It just continues to get better and better with each short story. I’m glad Judah and Rhiana got away and hope they don’t get caught. The gang ties are real and i feel like it is going to go down soon. This was a great read, keep them coming.
Things are definitely heating up between the gangs but im happy Judah and Ri got out for now because they have that one of kind type love but I hope their plan doesn't get one of my Baes from the Hills killed.
Awwww Aubree, not the mystery ending 😩 can they please have a happy ending or is someone coming through the door in the middle of their passion 🤔I hope the war ends soon….
Riana and Judah...so right, yet in the wrong situation in life. To be free from the gang life and just Love and Live is their end game. I loved this and man do I not want these shorts to end. Very Very Very Good.
The story was short but it packed a punch. War is definitely coming and it’s going to be interesting to see how everything plays out. I love Riana and Judah together.
I'm happy for Judah and Riana. Now what's left behind has me on the edge. This is a wonderful series of short stories. Beautifully written you can't help but to get caught up in the drama 😍.
Judah can definitely be added to the list of book babes. Aubree continues to surprise me with this series. I can’t wait for all the couples in each series to meet up. Something big will be going down. Ghettoville is the place to be.
Judah was willing to sacrifice anything to protect his family and I love that. All H E L L is about to break loose but sometimes you have to fight for your own peace and happiness
Judah and Riana were down for each other hands down! Being on opposite sides of a simmering war neither believed in, they went against everything to be together.
I enjoyed this book it gave the hood version of Romeo & Juliet vibes. I loved how Judah vowed to protect Riana. I loved when he told her I’m a savage always and a gangsta forever
Forbidden lovers, Judah and Riana were on the other side of the field. Their secret love affair started when she was sent to kill him, but couldn’t. He fakes his death and they run away. Cute story, can’t wait for the full story.
A forbidden love. He was her mark. He knew she was suppose to kill him. But the universe said otherwise. Secret meet ups. Then a plan and a fire. Yeah! Shyt got real.
