SYNOPSIS

Aliyah Davids Noah was a successful and ambitious woman with a traumatic childhood. Discovering her mother's lifeless body hanging from a ceiling was hardly an encouraging example of marital bliss, and yet, she had allowed Jamaal into her heart. This story grabbed me from the opening pages and kept me up past my bedtime! Jamaal appears to be deeply in love with his estranged wife, Aliyah. What could have prompted him to betray her in so brutal a manner? Is it possible for her to ever forgive Jamaal's transgression? Should she forgive him? After a devastating car accident that leaves Jamaal blind and depressed, younger brother Kamil brings Aliyah home, and the sparks fly. This is a fabulous tale of romantic suspense that I highly recommend!

A wonderful heartfelt read full of feeling!
A second chance at love for two wounded souls, driven apart by stupid mistakes and a wounded past.
A love story for the heart.
A tale of sorrow and regrets, healing and redemption, of trust re-earned and chances taken.
And it all circles around a promise renewed.
When Aliyah Davids is called back to her estranged husband Jamaal, she finds it hard to even recognise the strong man she once left under the shell of the scarred and blind recluse she is faced with.
He doesn't want her there, to witness his misery.
She doesn't want to leave him, even when he pushes her away.
I absolutely loved this book!
It's an emotional rollercoaster that had me occasionally wanting to either shout at Jamaal or shake Aliyah. A tale full of feeling that tugged on all my heartstrings and kept me at the edge of the seat wanting to know what next. What did Jamaal do? Why did Aliyah leave? What's up with the mother behaving like such a shrew?! These were just a few of the mysteries I was eager to see solved.
The characters were great and perfectly imperfect. Flawed and broken and hurt. And I loved the way they slowly healed. The resentment turning into trust reluctantly given, that trickle of hope constantly burning brighter, the pain and sorrow you just want to soothe and then the gentle realisation that maybe all's not lost... Beautifully done!
Tension and scheming, sparks flying and love rekindled while feelings leap from the page. This book has it all and more! The only reason I'm knocking down a star is due to the prose that doesn't flow quite well at times and hindered a bit the reading experience. But that can be easily solved with a good edit and I have no complaints apart from that.

Love rekindled
He thought she cheated. She knew he cheated. But fate fixes all things. Sabrina Of in life has once again delved deep into a relationship and found an answer. I actually asked to review this one. I found the blurb compelling and had to see if it was all it claimed to be, it was more.

I love this author's writing because amongst the romance and lust there are always countless flaws and fierce personalities. When Aliyah returns to her material home to discover her estranged husband's fragile health her life is turned upside down. He broke her heart but she still loves him. As Aliyah helps Jamaal sparks fly. Can they put the past behind them and start again? Can she forget his other wife?
The characters are flawed and Jamaal has been tragically injured in an accident, leaving him blind and suffering with memory loss. The story focuses on Jamaal's recovery, both physical and emotional.

Excellent read!!!
This story gripped me from the get go. You knew even after the first chapter that the tension between these characters was immense. You also knew they didn't want to be done. Such an emotional roller coaster. There were times I wanted to scream at Jamaal and times I wanted to scream at Ally! My favorite character was Kamil. None of this happens without him. I also loved the story between him and Scarlett. If ever there was a time I was cheering for a happy ending, this was certainly it!

Intense and engaging!
From the opening page I was mystified by Ally and Jamaal… their chemistry was apparent and clear. Whew .. boy I enjoy this steamy romance novel of characters tied up in a tense situation.
