With a marriage this strong, nothing could come between them . . . except maybe a baby.
Raven has big goals for herself, and having a baby falls far down on her to-do list. It plunged even further in her priorities after watching her sister give birth.
Unfortunately, her husband, Doug, is more than ready to start a family. They’re well-traveled with steady careers and a new home. The single thing he thinks is missing from their perfect life is an offspring.
When Doug shares his opinion, Raven panics and thinks of everything she wants to accomplish before she is tied down to a baby. Doug is quick to call her out for wasting time and laughs at some of her so-called life goals. That’s when Raven comes up with a plan.
Her Buggy List.
What better way to spend the summer break from teaching than to knock out all the things she’s always wanted to do? And maybe it will buy her some time to warm up to the idea of becoming a mom.
But showing her Buggy List more love than Doug causes problems . . .
Add to that Raven realizing her incompetence with babies—thanks to her newborn nephew. Plus, the stress of her best friend’s upcoming wedding.
And she’d give anything to just have her life go back to normal.

After seeing her sister give birth, Raven decides that she is, in no way, ready for a baby of her own. She comes with what she calls a "buggy list." It's a list of random to-dos from learning Spanish to solving a Rubik's cube, but is there a deeper reason behind the list?
Buggy List was a fun and mostly light-hearted read. Raven sometimes very strongly reminded me of Elle Woods from Legally Blonde (and not just because they're both blonde!). I would recommend this book to those who enjoy romantic comedies and/or clean romance. Buggy List is short and sweet, perfect for reading during a lunch break or finishing on the weekend.

Buggy List is a delightful book. Great writing, super clear topic. Clean and sweet New Adult. Raven's sister having a baby has prompted her to fulfill a buggy list. Doug is ready, but Raven isn't. Raven rushes through each of the items on her list. Through it, she makes hilarious mistakes, like making her husband accidentally sick and other adorable issues, which I won't reveal for readers. It reads like a Rom Con, no antagonist or protagonist, no love tropes, just a straightforward cute comedy with a husband that will always stand by her side.
What a sweet little novella! I thoroughly enjoyed reading Raven and Doug's dynamics. When Kaci reached out, I was excited to read her new book! She always has the cute little endings that makes your heart swim with ~feeeels~
Although the ending could've been predicted, the process had not been! I found myself laughing and smiling throughout the story.
Thank you Kaci for the complimentary ARC. All thoughts have been of my own.
Raven and Doug, a happily married couple until the happiness is shattered when baby comes into the picture. Don't get me wrong, but Raven is skeptical in her mommy skills & Doug is more then ready to start a family. So she decides to make a list, buggy list, which includes the list of things she will do before becoming a mother. Raven's is full of life, and you can't help, but fall in love with her character. I am happy that none of the above books were clichè, and in every book Kaci brings you a completely different story.
~First of all, I would like to say a huge thank you to the wonderful author of this book for sending me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!~
Yet another cute book by our favorite rom-com author :) Although, since this one was about a married couple, it wasn't as much of a romance (in my opinion), but it was still great. Buggy List makes up for it by adding an extra awesome dose of humor, which I absolutely adored! Also, I love Raven's spunky personality. Well, if you're looking for some fun rom-coms to read, this is series is DEFINITELY for you! :)
Raven and her sister, Kristin, were shopping when Kristin needed some help, pain all over her face. Her water had just broken and the race was on to get her to the hospital. Raven remembered Kristin’s water soaking her, so she began to spread tons of napkins all over the seat of her car until her sister pushed her out of the way and sat. With leather seats, she assured her, between gasps, that it would be fine. When a cop stopped her for speeding, she finally told him her sister was in labor. His attitude perked right up as he told her to follow him… not expecting her to start to get out of her car! So he explained she should follow him to the hospital, in her own vehicle! The next surprise was a phone call to Doug that his sister-in-law went into labor and Raven fainted in the maternity ward.
Needless to say, after the experience of seeing her pregnant sister give birth, and Doug deciding that he was ready for children, Raven stalled his thinking on that by claiming she needed a buggy list for all the things she would like to experience BEFORE she considers having a baby. She hoped that would take a very long time to complete. But putting all her attention on the list and ignoring her husband was not a healthy move for the marriage. Would she get her priorities straight? Would they work out their timeline to better suit each of them? Or would nature take its course and solve the problem?
This is a cute story line with delightful characters and a real dilemma that Doug and Raven need to resolve. Grab your copy and see how they work it out. The story should keep you chuckling until an agreement is reached!
This book was super cute and totally safe for anyone to read. It’s a good story about a couple that needs to find their way before that can take the next step in life.

A buggy list, a wedding, a emergency room visit, a stray dog, and a new baby! Kaci has a way of writing a story that makes you laugh, thank God and think about yourself while reading. This is a fun read! Good story and a pleasure to read.
Buggy List is a hysterically funny romantic comedy that showcases the problem that emerges when one spouse is ready for kids, but the other is having serious doubts. When this becomes the situation for Raven and Doug, she decides that she needs to complete a "buggy list" of things she needs to accomplish before she's ready to take that step with her hubby.
I have to say that I truly loved the plot of this one, and I applaud the author for choosing to write a romance that features a married couple who has been together for eight years, as this is something I don't see featured in romances too often. It definitely made for a unique story, and I loved the fact that even though this is definitely a comedic story overall, it still paved the way to show the true struggles that emerge for couples having trouble getting on the same page about the timeline for having kids.
I only ended up having a couple of issues overall, and thankfully both were pretty minor. I found this one to be a tad more crass than the previous two books had been, which I personally could have done without, but I know that probably wouldn't bother most readers. I also felt that Raven and Doug both behaved pretty juvenile for a large portion of the story, and I just wanted them to start working together to get through all their issues. That being said, the whole scenario speaks to the talent of Kaci Lane as an author, as even though they were both getting on my nerves, I was still rooting for them as I'd truly come to care about them both throughout the story, and wanted to see them be able to move past all their doubts and insecurities. The author definitely had me feeling sympathy for these two, and I appreciated that.
I definitely recommend this one, and this entire series for anyone looking for a fun and pretty clean romance to dive into.
Final Rating: 4/5.
Thanks so much to Kaci Lane for allowing me to read and review this!

What a fun read! This book was so good. It's a well written clean story that will make you laugh out loud. It was an absolute joy to read. I highly recommend this book.
Raven becomes traumatized after witnessing her sister give birth. Her husband, Doug, told Raven that he’s ready to have children. However, Raven keeps telling him that she’s not ready because there’s things that she wants to do before the baby.
She believes that if she has a baby, then she won’t find time to able to do the things that she’s always wanted to do. So she makes a list. A “buggy list.” Like solve a rubix cube or learn how to sew.
This obviously causes a rift between her and Doug since she’s more focused on the list than her marriage & wanting to start a family. When a fight happens between them, they both put their differences aside and realized that their love is more important than a buggy list.

These are not the most sympathetic characters. Raven comes off as immature and selfish, while Doug seems to be pretty darned clueless. I had a tough time connecting with the two of them, but I did have a ton of fun laughing at Raven's shenanigans. In the end, this pair is absolutely perfect together and I don’t think the universe would work right with them partnered with anyone else.
This was not nearly as enjoyable as the first 2 books in the series. The main characters' cluelessness & self-absorption was not endearing, at least not to me.
