Nanny for the Army Rangers

Rate this book
When I saved the little boy from falling off the bleachers at the aquarium, I never imagined it would change my life. But his three Army Ranger dads had other plans for me, and sometimes the best things in life come when you least expect.

I never planned on being a nanny to the most adorable twins on the planet, just like I'd never dreamt of living with three ripped, beautiful soldiers-turned-mercenaries, constantly working out in their Southold mansion to keep their hard bodies in Army Ranger shape.

Yet here I am, alone on Long Island and out of money for med school. So when a chance rescue affords me the opportunity to get back on my feet, I'm more than willing to take on the responsibility... and all the delicious fringe benefits that come with it.

But the men are lonely too, and our attraction is overwhelming. Week by week I'm tempted by three shredded, ridiculously-trained bodies, until lines are crossed and inhibitions are dropped and I find myself in bed with all three of them. Regrets? Absolutely none. Only that I hadn't found this part of my life sooner.

Liam is as physically flawless as he is sweet, while Duncan's bright smile and broad-shouldered humor masks a much darker secret. Julius is the powerful, deadly loner of the group - relieved from command for undertaking a vengeful, near-suicide mission.

Together my new lovers form the upper echelon of a rogue mercenary company, operating out of Manhattan. But when an edgy, almost impossible task calls them, one by one, to the far side of the world? It could open the door to all new possibilities... or spell the end of everything we've built together.

NANNY FOR THE ARMY RANGERS is a thrilling stand-alone Military Reverse Harem Romance filled with humor, action, and suspense. HEA guaranteed!

Just a pre-warning: I will be complaining a lot in this review therefore I must first preface that this was not an entirely bad book, in fact, I wouldn't even go as far as calling it bad, it was decent, fine. For most of this book, I had it down as a 3 stars, it's just that near the end a lot of the little annoyances I had became too much and forced me to, unfortunately, rate it lower. That being said, I did like this for the most part and am still happy that I decided to read it. Now, onto the complaining:

1. I found that the relationship developed too quickly. There was no build-up besides us knowing that Delilah found the boys attractive - that's it. They supposedly got to know one another better "off-screen" but I feel like that's a pretty important thing for the reader to see.

1a. In addition, it feels like they accepted their relationship far too easily. None of these people had ever been in a situation like this before and yet somehow fell into it so well? No way. The only explanation that was given was that the boys are so close and they share everything and whatnot but since we never actually see any real evidence of their comradeship, I find it a tad hard to believe.

2. This book could not decide what it was doing and where it was going. Most of this book was dedicated to the developing relationship but for some reason, the climax had to do with the boys' business...and even then it was barely there! We never knew much about it in the first place so why should I care?? It was somehow a main story point but simultaneously brushed over.

3. I know that Delilah was the Nanny but why? In the beginning, we learn about her medical knowledge and her schooling. Hell, at the end . You'd think that this info would come in handy at some point but no. Hell, you could have even mixed it with what the guys were doing. Make her their personal medic for their business or something, but no, wasted opportunity.

4. (and could be considered most important) The sex was dry. It was okay the first time, but it just all stayed very same-y, I was not engaged. This is just a personal preference but I was not a fan that they went with the sort of "taking-turns-but-still-watching" tactic rather than the "lets-go-boys-all-off-us-at-once". Maybe that method could have worked, but it just wasn't written in a way that made me feel anything.

I think that might be it. I'll probably think of more later but for now, that'll do. This was a decent book, the start gave me a lot of hope since it held so much potential but unfortunately, things went downhill from there. Better luck next time ig.

Best friends and brothers-in-arms Declan, Julius, and Liam are raising the two children left behind by the death of one of their friends and fellow Army Rangers and his wife. So when their little boy almost falls off the bleachers at the aquarium, they are grateful to Delilah for saving him from serious injury (and possibly death), and end up inviting her to be their nanny. While living in their house, they all fall for her, creating a complex but loving family.

So, this is a reverse harem in the best way. The guys all have distinctive personalities, Delilah is a smart and talented FMC, and the kids are adorable. Unlike a lot of RH books, this isn't just about sex, but about building relationships -- between fathers and children, substitute mom Delilah and the kids, and Delilah and the men. Their relationships are grounded and healthy, even under the unorthodox circumstances. This is a great book.

When three friends take custody of their fallen comrade's children, they realize they may need some outside help. Enter Delilah, a woman in need of a place to live and a good paying job who happens to adore children. They match perfectly and things are good, until Delilah realizes she may be having feelings for these sexy dads.

I thought the story was fun and appreciated that there wasn't relationship drama. The men were funny and sweet and I liked that they recognized that Delilah was a capable person and could things on her own. Delilah was smart and funny and kept the guys on their toes. Her love for the children was adorable and the family dynamic among them all was great.

I would have liked a bit more action in this, as there's almost none. It's a nice and easy read though and Wolf knows how to write a steamy romance!

*🌿* I enjoy reading shorter ridiculous stories while indulging on a “gummy” that I wouldn’t normally enjoy sober. FYI, I’m in a state where it’s totally legal and I’m a responsible user.

This was fun while I was indulging but finishing it it the next morning was laughable. Not enough character depth, the internal monologue where our MFC would say Mmmm to both the babies and then when the men were doing things was cringy, let’s not make the same sounds for those two separate thing okay?

That’s it for my plant reads, until next time.

You are guaranteed a steamy read when you pick any book by Krista Wolf book and Nanny for the Army Rangers is definitely steamy. Its hot as hell!! Only mixed in with that is also a pretty good story to that tugs on heartstrings. Delilah (FMC) does one good deed by saving Liam, Julius and Declan's son from drowning. Which in turns ends up her getting a new job and 3 hot employers. Lots of steamy scenarios ensue too. I loved the dynamic between Delilah and the guys. They were sweet and caring. I liked this book. It was a great read

Hot and tender with an unlikely encounter
Aside from the special relationship between Delilah, Liam, Duncan and Julius, the story is tender, simple, with some twists and turns related to their mercenary activities.
The story is well written, with steamy scenes.

Ranger danger ?

Well, ladies we know we're reading a fantasy when we read a book about a reverse harem where there's 3 men and of course they're totally buff and gorgeous looking and they all have huge equipment (if you know what I'm saying). In reality you could have a whole room full of guys and maybe 1 guy has heavy equipment but he still wouldn't know what to do with it other than take care of himself. That's why we read these books , for the fantasy . This book was fun in that regard , so I'm happy with it !

Krista Wolf has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Delilah, Liam, Duncan, and Julius. Delilah is at the Aquarium thinking about her niece and nephew, Rory and Luke. She uses to take them out and now they have moved to Marland. She is waiting on the sea lion show to start and a little boy keeps coming over. She watched as he starts to fall off the bleachers and she jumps to grab him. She saved the little boy but she gets knocked out. The men with the little boy are the first ones to reach her. It didn't take but just a few minutes for the EMTs to get to her. The men follow the ambulance to the hospital and they wait for news about her. After a while, they are told that she is being taken to a room for the night and they can come to see her the next day, she needed to rest that night. When they get to the hospital the next day, she is not there. They leave the flowers they brought to her with the promise from Rose that she would forward them to her. Delilah is at her apartment talking to her roommate Traci about the rent. Traci is behind in the rent and Delilah is wanting to know when she is going to pay it. Something is said about the flowers and Traci thinks that her boyfriend had sent them. When Delilah moves something on the coffee table so she could work there a card falls. She reads the card and it is the flowers and for her. She checks all the flowers and all of them are for her. She calls the hospital and gets Rose and is told that the men who dropped the flowers off were very upset they missed her and she made a promise to forward them to her. Delilah asked, "Did they leave their contact information?" She was told no." Rose tells her that she could call the florist and she was sure that they would be happy to help. When Delilah arrives at their address, the first one she sees is Liam and he is shocked to see her there. Duncan and Julius are also shocked to see her. When she sees the children, Courtney and Jace she takes to them right away and they take to her. Duncan, Liam, and Julius are the guardians of Courtney and Jace since their parents are both gone. They are now living in the house that was meant to be their home if their parents had lived. There is an attraction between the four of them. A few days later, the guys call Delilah and ask for her to meet them. When she gets there, they talk for a little while and she tells them about her roommate and the rent problem. They have the answer to her problem and it is to become Courtney and Jace's nanny. She would live at the house and pay no rent. she wants to see where she would be staying so they go back to the house and she is shown to her bedroom. Things happen and the four of them get together. It is strange for her to be with the three of them. Sometimes it is just one-on-one and others it is will all of them. The guys run a company for mercenaries. They are contacted when no one else will do a job. Julius gets a job for a high-profile client and he is the one to go on the mission with others from the company. Duncan is the one who takes over at the company while Liam is the one staying at home with Delilah and the kids. Things get uncertain when contact with Julius goes down. Duncan hasn't heard from him in two days and he starts to worry. One night Delilah tells Liam and Duncan she wants to be with all of them but something is going to have to change. she tells them that she wants all in and that means to know what is going on at all times. They tell her what is going on with Julius and that Duncan is going to go find him. Julius has gotten the client's son and things are not going so well for him at the moment. Duncan comes in at the right time to save him. When Duncan and Julius get back, Delilah and Liam meet them at the airport and she kissed both Duncan and Julius.
Will things work out for the four of them?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Nanny For The Army Rangers By Krista Wolf
Rating: 4/5

”The first kiss should be magical,” Liam continued. “It should transcend greatness. It should be the culmination of a mutual magnetic attraction, the coming together of two people in a moment of intimacy and passion.”

Cute read, and amazing story! This book reminded me of Nanny for the Neighbors by Lilly gold with a few similarities, but different in their own way!

I love Reverse Harems and this book portrayed it amazingly. The characters were written well, and were so funny and different from each other!

I did wish that it didn’t skip over weeks so much.

Overall a great read and would recommend! Especially if you fans of Lilly Gold.

Would reread: maybe

Hot army guys and cute babies.

Delilah enters the guys' life by saving Jace. Then, through kind gestures and a bit of tracking down, the four of them finally get to talk to each other. Liam, Duncan, and Julius are raising the kids of one of their fallen brothers, and when they realize that they need some help between their packed schedules they reach out to Delilah. They invite her to become a live-in nanny and Delilah jumps at the opportunity.

I found it quite interesting that while the guys had the whole "we share everything" thing going on for them, they never shared a girl before. It gave the whole story a vibe of puppies in love. Instead of seeing them as sexy predators that locked targets on Delilah, it actually felt like they didn't know what was happening either.

Julius was the one who sometimes gave me the vibe that he was waiting for Delilah to make a wrong step just so he could dismiss her. It was as if he was the hardest to impress. Thus, I was a bit surprised to see that he and Liam were the first ones to make a move, I would have never expected it from him. Liam was an absolute sweetheart and, up until the end, I really felt like we didn't have enough time to appreciate him individually but that was remedied. I was a bit disappointed that we did not get to see more of Duncan's past from his own perspective. We got some glimpses here and there, but we did not get the same self-portrait that Julius gave us.

Overall, this was a sweet romance. While a bit exaggerated in some places, it was filled with cute kids and sexy army men. I was actually quite surprised and I find it slightly remarkable that there was no triple penetration. I never expected this from a book with 3 H.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we met Delilah, Liam, Julius, and Duncan. When this book opens we find Delilah has come to the aquarium because she is missing her niece and nephew so badly. When she looks over she sees to men making a little girl laugh and a little boy funning around. When he ties to do the super-man leap off the bleachers she doesn't even things she jumps to catch them boy and absorb the impact. The men are in shock and can't believe what almost happened to the little boy and are worried about the woman. So they follow the ambulance to to loose the woman in the hospital due to HIPPA laws. They send her flowers try to thank her but not sure if they are getting to her. When Delilah shows up on their doorstep they know this is fate at work. Little does she know the guys need a nanny for these adorable children and it will help her put money away to go back to college without breaking her back working 2 jobs. What happens when feelings get involved though will they find the HEA they all want or will it just be a temporary stop in life for them all.

Super hot book. These characters grab you on page one and won't let go especially the children. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Simply serendipitous - in the right place at the right time

Nanny For The Army Rangers: A Military reverse Harem Romance by Krista Wolf is a wonderfully well written romance that ticks a lot of wonderful boxes for this avid romance reader. Military heroes as the male protagonists is like kryptonite for me. Total weakness! Alpha, protective, no games, just know what they want and go after it. Throw those attributes in with a strong, independent and knows what she wants, no games female protagonist and it becomes a must read! Feel the same? This one will tick all those boxes and more. Liam, Julius and Duncan, for all their bravery and strength are just as romantic and gentle as they are demanding and dominant. And Stella, despite being in a state of flux, embraces the now and all it has to offer.
I really enjoyed this book from the plot perspective too. There’s some military action, Army Rangers in action, but it does not predominate everything else. Best part of this book is the development of the reverse harem relationship and all the scorching steam these four generate.
Overall, this reverse harem is highly romantic in five alarm style heat and a metric ton of heart. While I was somewhat disappointed this book ended, I adored the HEA for this ready made family.

Now I have been reading ménage stories for a bit because for so long I have been curious if I would any of them and the whole idea is fantastically interesting but I still haven't found an author or at least a book that I thought it was well done in. Hear me out bc, it is really hard to juggle feelings for two or three men or more, whatever, and write a good representation of a good relationship with more than two people in it.

Wasnt a fan of the smut, I didn't find it very appealing to me at least, so I guess it just didn't do it for me. Also the nanny romance is cute and well done, I like the setting, I especially liked Delilah's love for Jace and Courtney, it was absolutely cute.

As for the male characters, I feel like despite the constant attempts to put together their characters, they seemed quite similar to me, like I don't know if there was something specifically different in one or the other, I mean I get it they are all ex-military now mercenaries and all that shabang, but I just feel like I don't know them at all after more than 100 pages worth of content.

It was definitely fast paced, there was no angst, which is always a minus for me knowing the nature of the relationship.

I didn't do it for me but I have eyes on another vacation trope ménage romance by Krista Wolf so I will giving that a try.

This author writes some of my favorite reverse harem books. Yes the books are steamy and all, but the character development is my favorite aspect. Each of the characters have a really well thought out backstory that makes them seem like real people to the reader and makes you get emotionally invested in their relationship.

Julius, Duncan and Liam are former Army Rangers and mercenaries who became legal guardians to their comrade's twin children after he and his wife passed away. The children are heirs to a fortune and large estate which the men are renovating for them. On an excursion to the aquarium the boy, Jace, was saved by Delilah from serious injury. The men try to contact her but she gets discharged before they learn her name.

Delilah was a medical student until she ran out of money so she now works two jobs to try to make ends meet. She goes to the men 's home to thank them for their flowers and they end up offering her a live in Nanny job caring for the kids. The four eventually give in to their mutual attraction for each other. After a year together they decide to marry and get their HEA.

Mercenary Daddies

This story is good... there are a few places it felt like it might become great like when Darius(I think) and Delicate get woke up in the night by a loud noise and then go searching ... he tells her he'll teach her to use a gun when he tries to arm her but she tells him she has never used a gun . Some how they never get too it. On one hand the female is a pretty strong character but she really is just a nanny nothing exciting happens to her besides the three men wanting and having a relationship with her... you get a few glimpses into the Guy's lives and work but it is completely separate.. I don't know it just seemed to have lots of action adventure possibilities but it ended up being just a good romance. It is a good story but it just missed some adventure together for the characters with the lady, aside from the mansion renovation... mostly the characters spend most their together time in the mansion, with the guys going into the city and away on missions and she leaves for dates, and to visit her sister and her children... which really it kinda felt like that was left unfinished.... surely she'd invite her sister and the kids to visit to spring her three fiancé's... I guess I was just hoping for more.

📚Nanny For The Army Rangers📚

By: Krista Wolf
Format: Audiobook on Audible 🎧
Genre: RH Romance
POV: Multiple POV
Setting: New York
Tropes: Reverse Harem, Nanny/Gardians, Ex Army Rangers,

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Review: I picked this one out on a total whim because I’ve been on a RH kick lately. The audiobook wasn’t great and I didn’t love the narrater, but it was an ok story.

Three ex army rangers become the guardians of a set of toddler twins and when Delilah saves one of the twins life at the aquarium, a quick relationship forms.

Delilah is down on her luck, with a crappy roommate and dead end jobs to make ends meet. But her whole life changes when she agrees to become the live in nanny for the three gorgeous ex army rangers.

This story is very predictable but still a fun and sexy read. I enjoyed it but nothing about it resonated with me. I’d recommend it as a spicy pallet cleanser. It’s a change of pace if you’ve been reading deep, serious, or dark romances.

I’m still in need of some good RH recommendations… what’s your favorite RH romance?

3.5⭐️

For a contemporary RH, this is really good. It would have gotten 4⭐️’s if not for one glaring flaw.
Lack of details.

I’m fine with some smexy times, even a few extra scenes. But they need to be relevant, and not the same thing over and over again.

Further, they shouldn’t take up so much space, that the relationship and character building details are pushed out.

I know who the FMCs family is and isn’t, but couldn’t tell you anything about the guys.
More, I know nothing about how, why, or when the guys joined the military, what their current duties are, or their roles in their civilian company.

The FMC was awesomely confident and sassy, but I struggled to fully relate, as I’m not, and how she got to be, her background, her life prior, all those filler details … absent.

We got told how she left uni etc., but again never went into details, or if it mattered, what she wanted to do now …

I’m sure you’re getting the point.

The story was so much fun, the characters likeable, the plot interesting, and as I said, considering the genre, really well done.

But it could have easily been so much more, and a story to truly fall in to, and fall in love with, if only for the necessary details.

Will stall absolutely look for more from this author.

Three hot Army Rangers (Liam, Julius, and Duncan) - check, one nanny (Delilah) to care for their children (Jace and Courtney) - check, lots of hot and steamy time between them all - check. This book is a steamy military reverse harem, entertaining, hot and very steamy. The guys are guardians to Jace and Courtney, they need help taking care of them while they work, travel, and renovate their home so they hire Delilah to be their nanny, she did save Jace and both kids love her. Delilah jumps at the chance to get away from her horrible roommate and working two jobs to barely make ends meet. The more they get to know each other the stronger the attraction between them gets. They've never shared a woman together but sharing Delilah feels right and makes sense, they share everything else why not share Delilah too? Can the four of them make a relationship work, become a happy family? I really like the authors writing style. You get smoking hot bedroom scenes but you also get a well told story with love and friendship.

This book is phenomenal and I loved it! A wonderful mix of sweet, sexy and a bit sad, it is a definite must read! Duncan, Liam and Julius are all taking care of Jace and Courtney, the twins of a fallen comrade that they have custody of. Delilah has just lost her sister, brother in law, niece and nephew to a move to a different state and is at the aquarium alone instead of with her niece and nephew. While at the aquarium, Jace will get away from the guys and Delilah’s quick thinking will save him from harm. Her not so much. A thank you in person for flowers sent will lead to her becoming a live in nanny. From there, all their lives will change for the better as they come together to care for Jace and Courtney. There will be a few bumps along the way but in the end, they will realize that they truly are a team and while they will always mourn the loss of Jace and Courtney’s parents, they are determined to make the twins lives the best that they can be, and that means bringing Delilah into their family.

Krista Wolf reverse harem stories are always super steamy with a good storyline.

Delilah is a strong, intelligent and compassionate woman who happens to be in the right place with quick reflexes to save a little boy from serious injury. Duncan, Liam and Julius are three Army Rangers who are jointly raising the son and daughter of a fallen teammate. They have their hands full between raising the twins, renovating the huge family estate that is the twins’ legacy, and running a security business. They are grateful to Delilah for her quick thinking at the aquarium and they offer her a live-in position as the twins’ nanny.

Attraction and sexual chemistry simmers between Delilah and the men and living together eventually causes them to stop resisting- and the steamy interactions begin. Each of the guys makes an effort to build a one-on-one relationship with Delilah as well as the relationship among all 4 of them.

The children are adorable and the emotional connections that develop between these 4 characters is intense and wonderful.

Delilah risks her life to save two rambunctious toddlers who decided to jump off the bleachers at an amusement park show by jumping after them, breaking their fall. Little did she know that the toddlers' three father's would be in her debts. Duncan, Julius and Liam are the custodial parents of the two kids. They are living in the home of the kid's family and trying to fix it up when they realize they need help. After Delilah gets out of the hospital, she stops by the house to check on the kids and meets the three dads. From there the plan is hatched to get Delilah to work for them as a live-in nanny. This story had everything from the harsh military story, the crazy roommate, the sad family story, a story of brotherhood and a story of family. The sex is unbelievably hot and raunchy and the chemistry between all four adults is crazy. Despite the attractions, they never forget their ultimate responsibility and always put the kids first. I really liked how this author writes. This story was really interesting. I enjoyed it.

OH this reverse hareem story is one for the books for sure. She is having some issues in her life and almost at the end of her ropes. She ends up saving the boy these men are guardians too. But in doing so she is sent to the hospital. They try to thank her but when they get there she has been discharged. She talks to the nurse at the hospital and she tells her to contact the florist so maybe they can help. When she ends up getting the information she heads to meet them face to face to thank them for the flowers. NOw that they have all meet and are talking they come up with a solution to a couple of her problems and she becomes the nanny of the boy and his sister. These guys are mercenaries that do the jobs others don't do. So now that they are all living together things get a bit steamy. This is a new thing to them all. So with one female and three guys can they work this out together since they have never done this before? Check it out and see what you think.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Delilah is at the Aquarium when she unselfishly saves a little boy who falls off the bleachers. He's not hurt, but she is knocked out and taken to the hospital. The three guardians of the little boy and his sister try to see her at the hospital but they don't even know her name. They send her flowers but she has already checked put. One of the nurses forwards the flowers to her and she calls the florist to see who sent them. She goes to their home where she meets the three Army Rangers who are the guardians for the twins Jace and Courtenay. She falls in love with the twins and they love her too. The men need a nanny and think she's a perfect match. She accepts the live-in nanny position. Eventually the attraction between Delilah and all three Rangers becomes hot and heavy. Can they all be happy together? Do they actually have a future together? Don't miss out on this book. I loved it and highly recommend it. Patsy Sacco

This story is about three men, Liam, Duncan, and Julius, who are caretakers of two twins, Courtney and Jace. On an outing to the aquarium, Jace keeps running back and forth on the bleacher playing a sort of peek-a-boo with Delilah. Delilah was just getting ready to watch the show thinking about her niece and nephew, Luke and Rory. She had brought them to the Aquarium to see the sea-lion show frequently. She saw the young boy accidentally fall off the side of the bleacher. Taking action she caught the young boy but ended up in hospital. The men sent her flowers but her roommate thought the flowers were for her until Delilah found one of the cards. She goes to the men's home to thank them for their flowers and they end up offering her a live in Nanny job caring for the twins.
Krista is a fantastic writer and I look forward to reading more books like this one. This story has wonderful characters, romance/steam and a fairly believable RH storyline.

I loved, how Delilah, missed her Niece&Nephew, that usually took to the aquarium. Sister and hubby moved with the kids. By being at the aquarium by herself, she happened to catch a toddler Jace from falling, getting hurt, even though she got injured. She met the 3 men, who happened to be Jace& Courtenay's Guardians, thanked her, and got offered a job as nanny, as the men were trying to fix up mansion for the kids. She fell in love with the twins, and became intimate with Liam, Julius, Duncan.
while taking care of twins, she was thinking of her twin Nephew & Niece.Thru the worries, of guys being in military, feelings grew. Delilah had gotten some medical training, but due to lack tution to continue, things work out, where they get a nanny hired, while Delilah, was able to go back to school, and get her degree. Guys had proposed to her, house got finished with help of a benefactor, that's son, Julius, Duncan, others rescued and saved. it was a wonderful story, loved it, and would read again.
