This series of short stories promises to be entertaining and terrifying. The first story is a page turner. A teenager is bullied by two teenage boys for being different. Her trip to the rest room nearly gets her killed but she jumps out of the window. There is no reprieve from her ordeal as the bullies catch up with her until fate intervenes in the form of the mysterious Mr Cormorant. Is he her friend or foe?
This is coming out one episode at a time. I have read the first episode and I am very intrigued. Going to read the next episode tonight. So excited. After reading the second episode I am even more excited to see what is going to happen next. Loving this! Episode 3 has given us a little insight into the past. The intrigue continues. I am not sure what to think. The next episode can't come soon enough. Episode 4 brings even more things to question. What will happen next? Episode 5 gives us some answers while also creating more questions. I wish I had this author's imagination. Episode 6 makes me wonder, who do we trust? This just keeps getting better and better. And it was already very good. Episode 7 helps to keep me very intrigued. So excited and waiting impatiently for the next episode.
I got this book for free thru an Advanced Review Copy, ARC, with an honest review freely given. I thought this book was very well done and quite greepy but was able to read the beginning to the end and I enjoyed it. The character built up was another great job by Dan as usual in my opinion. The story line was so well done it kept me up and thinking about those kind of things really happening but my other thought was it not being real.
