Destination Daddies

Tourist Attraction

Rate this book
When an ER doctor rescues an accident-prone boy on a tropical island getaway, is it true love or just a tourist attraction?

Nash doesn’t do relationships. Sure, he’s a Daddy, but he’s married to his job. So a kinky vacation to Turks and Caicos, where he can find a boy-of-the-week, is exactly what he needs to temporarily sate his Daddy desires. What he doesn’t need is to find an awkward and brilliant boy in the Miami airport who makes him question everything before his vacation has even begun.

Ollie needs a Daddy… and a doctor as well. He inadvertently injures himself on a daily basis so when he literally stumbles into Nash, it seems like a match made in heaven. Ollie regularly relies on his trusty first aid kit, but when he learns Nash isn’t looking for something serious, Ollie realizes he can’t put a bandage on a broken heart.

Will Nash be able to make room in his life for the perfectly imperfect Ollie after they return to Miami, or will a week of playing doctor become nothing more than a fond memory?

Tourist Attraction is an age gap, Daddy kink, gay romance featuring a love-resistant doctor and an adorably intelligent yet clumsy boy. Flames erupt, forks fly, and everyone gets lei'd in this sweet and steamy love story that will make even the most jaded hearts believe in happily ever after. This book is part of the Destination Daddies multi-author series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but there are so many destinations and Daddies to discover, why not grab them all?

Luna David is a true romantic at heart who was fortunate enough to find and marry her soul mate. Most of the time she considers herself lucky to have been blessed with having g/b twins, but they're giving her a run for her money. She's a stay at home mom and an author, so when she's not begging her little monsters to behave, you'll most likely find her writing.

She loves anything book, coffee or dark chocolate related and can't think of a better way to pass the time than to combine all three. She reads romance novels voraciously and while she prefers contemporary romance with strong Alpha males finding their soul mates, she's a sucker for any well written, romantic story regardless of genre.

She created the Custos Securities Series because she loves to write what she loves to read. Her books feature strong dominant males and the men they would die protecting. Toss in some BDSM and kink and you've got her Catharsis Novel Series, The Boys Club Series, and Kink Chronicles Series. She loves nothing more than making her readers feel a wide range of emotions with her words. And she hopes you enjoy reading her books as much as she loved writing them. Happy Reading!

This was an enjoyable read, even if I did want to strangle Gavin for rejecting Ollie over and over again.

I also thought Ollie was perhaps too accident prone. I'm not a fan of bumbling comedy, and Ollie constantly tripping or running into things got a little annoying after a while. The "forking" incident was funny though.

Tropes: Daddy/boy, doctor/nerdy student, rambling MC (Ollie never stopped talking), stubborn MC (Gavin's denial that things would never work with Ollie was obnoxious), separation, steamy (Ollie likes it a little rough), HEA.

I didn't mesh much with the writing but this was a decent age gap, daddy/boy (no age play) , kink on the rougher side of the usual daddy boy intimacy.

Still loved it

Tourist Attraction is my favorite book in the Destination Daddies series, so far. I loved the relationship that developed between Ollie and Gavin and was quickly addicted to their story.

Gavin is genuinely nice guy. As an emergency room doctor, Gavin's schedule is hectic, and his fast paced work environment has kept him from being able to develop any kind of lasting relationship with a 'boy' of his own.

Ollie is just adorable. He's studying to become an astronomical physicist (or something like it...I can't remember...I blame menopause for my lack of memory...haha) and is fascinated by just about any kind of trivial scientific fact. So much so, he tends to babble on about them and share his knowledge with just about anyone who will listen.

Ollie is like a force of nature. He's sweet, intelligent, sexy and a genuine klutz. If there is a way to trip or fall, Ollie will find a way to do it. But, thanks to some good friends and Gavin, he has people who love him and look out for him.

I loved this story. I loved Ollie. He's smart and quirky and surprisingly sexy in his own Ollie way. I totally understood why Gavin was fascinated with him because I was too! I loved that Gavin really appreciated Ollie's quirkiness and how much he loves how intelligent and interesting he thought Ollie was.

As a reader, I really enjoyed how much these men really LIKED one another. I liked how they fit together and loved how they formed a sizzling bond that really resonated with me.

I loved them.

A Joyfully Jay review.

I was intrigued by the blurb and was quick to pick this one up. Overall, I really enjoyed it. David and London crafted an engaging story with endearing characters. This book is part of the Destination Daddies series, a multi-author collection that is tied together by the theme of a kink vacation with the focus on Daddies and boys. They are standalones, so you don’t have to have read any of them to jump into this one. This one has all the elements of a Daddy and boy. Ollie is not a little, and there is no age regression play in this book. But there is a power exchange, with Gavin caring for Ollie on every level.

The thing that really worked for me in this story is the MCs and the chemistry between them. Right from the start, it’s easy to feel the desperation coming off of Gavin, and how much he needs a break from his life and to let his inner Daddy out. Ollie is, to be frank, absolutely adorable. He’s the type of character that could have been annoying, with his lack of filter and extreme clumsiness. To the authors’ credit, though, Ollie is nothing but endearing and enjoyable.

Ollie definitely got my maternal instinct kicking in. I just want to sushi wrap him in puffy clouds and warm sunshine. He is very accident prone and every single accident he got himself in was hands down ridiculous. So what a better daddy for Ollie than Gavin?! A doctor committed to care and rescue. They are such a good pair to each other. A low angst, fluffy daddy boy romance with a lot of funny incidents and caring gestures that warms your heart to no end.

This has been one of the most disappointing books of this series. I expected so much more because I love both authors, but this book has been written over and over again. There wasn't anything new about either character. Ollie was the cute, bumbling genius. Gavin was the selfish, married to his job, doesn't have time for a boy jerk. Did I mention jerk? He's not my least favorite Daddy ever written, but he's up there. He really has no redeeming qualities and Ollie deserved so much more.

I will say that it was nice to have one of these books actually be somewhere other than where the MCs live.

Luna's book with Amy from last holiday was amazing. It was different and you couldn't help but love both MCs. This was the exact opposite. It felt like a regurgitation of a hundred other daddy/boy books right down to the two characters.

sweet spicy boy

When you don’t think there is anyone out there for you only to find them in the most unexpected way. I got to tell you I thought their meeting would have been more dramatic than what it was. Sweet daddy boy book. And I love sweet daddy boys. I love accident prone boys. People thinks things like this don’t happen, I’m here to tell you as a one in the clumsy club these things do happen. The writing was good, smexy was good and the side characters were ok.

This was so cute! Everything was sort of dialed up to 11, but not in a way that made it annoying, just Super Cute Klutzy Boy and Drama Daddy being adorable and clueless. And I love a good set up/pay off (I knew how they’d reconnect and it was great.)

Accident Prone Ollie goes on a kinky vacation with 3 of his best friends. His flight gets delayed and meets Dr. Gavin who, without either knowing, is heading on the same kinky vacation. Gavin doesn't believe his lifestyle is conducive to a relationship and while he's intrigued by Ollie, convinces him to be his boy for the week.

This was an excellent story and I re-read it all the time. They get their HEA.

I suppose part of my problem is that I’m just not that into daddy kink and the dynamic, as least as shown here, is a little queasy. A lot of this is down to a twink who is both a genius and almost too clumsy to live. The character is so twee that it starts to feel like someone should have power of attorney.

Ollie has to be my favorite character out of all of the Destination Daddy books that I've read! He is the sweetest, smartest, quirkiest, most accident prone boy that I've ever encountered. He longs for someone to love him but accepts that he is too strange for a Daddy to commit to. He broke my heart and I just wanted to wrap him in bubble wrap and give him a strong hug! Gavin is a Daddy but doesn't have time for a relationship...being an ER doctor is a relationship in and of itself. Ollie is a force of nature though, and Gavin finds himself drawn to the little accident waiting to happen. I loved the way Gavin "saw" Ollie and allowed his confidence to grow. Their dynamic was so beautiful even if it was supposed to be short term. I enjoyed this book so much....Ollie's antics were so unique and his random facts were very interesting!

I Loved this book! I think it was written just for me!! Adorable clumsy and bumbling Ollie and protective Daddy Gavin!!! Ollie is so insecure and shy in public but a feisty, kinky guy when it comes to steamy times!!! He was always apologizing, even for apologizing!!!! Gavin being so caring, protective and encouraging is so perfect for Ollie!!! This is told in both POV so you get all the emotions and feels!! I received an ARC of this book and I highly recommend to all who love you some age gap protective Daddies and their sweet but kinky guys!!!

Ollie was definitely the best boy here, but his three friends are all lovely, too, even carrying along first aid kits on vacation since they're sure Ollie will need help at some point. Sure, Gavin is hot and all, but he's also hella annoying being so sure that he can't make room in his life for anyone. It was sorta satisfying knowing he was a miserable bastard for the three weeks after leaving the island. Good reunion scene and even better epilogue -- and no, I'm not marking those as spoilers since this is a romance and we all expect to have an HEA at the end!

Nothing short of adorable

Hard to read this book and not think it’s adorable. Ollie has a habit of saying the oddest things and Gavin is completely charmed by him. Maybe a little over the top at times, but it’s pretty cute.

This was very very sweet. I loved Ollie a lot and I'm always a sucker for seeing characters find confidence and learn to advocate for themselves, also their clumsiness was adorable.

I was given a free arc copy from the author and the GRR arc team for review.

This was such a great, sweet, quick story. I devoured it in one read.

If I had any complaint it would be that while I found Ollie's nerdy fact dropping cute, occasionally it was like info overload. So that's why I didn't rate it 5 stars.

This is so far my fav in the series along with Jam Packed that I loved equally as much.

Gimme all that instalove electric feelings. Ollie was a delight and I really liked Gavin. I wish there was a bit more Daddy Dom in this instead of just sexytimes and calling someone the name.

"How the heck he'd afford that, he didn't know. He'd have to figure it out somehow. Maybe by donating plasma or something. Or sperm? That was something he'd heard undergraduate students talking about. But then there'd be little Ollies all over the place, a concept that was equal parts amusing and terrifying for humanity."

Let me tell you, I eat these books up.
I never expected Honey London to be one of my favorite authors. I've read 3 books by her and am in the middle of two of her books. I absolutely adore her writing and her humor and her characters. Ollie was the cutest character I've ever read about, and I couldn't stop giggling and kicking my feet at his antics.

Also, Honey London's beef with Republicans is hilarious . You'll have to read her books to know what I'm talking about.😉

Was this a life-changing, knock-your-socks-off read? No. But it was freaking hilarious and I absolutely loved it.

Not for me. This book was a little too plot-driven for my tastes. A lot of challenges could have been resolved through simple conversation. Still a huge fan of Honey London, but I think I gravitate more towards her standalone fare.

5/5, this book was great and helped me out of a slump!

Tropes and Elements:
- Age-gap
- Daddy/boy
- There was only one bed
- Fast-paced love

Now, this book has elements that are common in Daddy/boy books, but I think it really flourished under the writing of Honey London and Luna David. For one thing, both character’s voices were very much distinct from each other. Even if I didn’t remember who’s chapter it was, it was clear to me who I was reading about. There were no grammatical errors or other mechanical issues that I could tell, it was clearly well-edited.

The pacing of the book is falling in love in a week - not quite insta-lovey, but it all made sense to me in this being a vacation fling romance. It felt natural, it felt sweet. The ‘there was only one bed’ trope was actually something I haven’t read myself yet in a book so I was excited for it. It didn’t feature a main plot point but it was cute nonetheless. I enjoyed the way the epilogue and it’s time jump noted for us the pacing of their relationship going forward, and it was natural and healthily done. Not ‘we fell in love in a week let’s move in!’, but spending time actually dating before merging lives together.

Character wise, my favorite was Ollie. This is because Ollie was fucking adorable hello? However, this is the third Daddy kink book I’ve read with the MC being named Ollie. Maybe we need to find other cute boy names. 😂 I loved his Spencer Reid-like intelligence and recounting, the clumsiness, this cute picture of being quite adorable.

Gavin I did like as this sweet daddy who also liked to give a little pain, however his flightiness and avoidance weren’t my favorite when he just should’ve been honest with Ollie. I’m glad he came to his senses even if it took awhile, and I definitely saw why he was a good Daddy for Ollie in and out of the bedroom. Even if it took him much too long to figure out what his heart wanted! Funnily enough I don’t often read books where characters officially get together at the end, so this was new for me too.

The steam itself was good but a bit short, not the most memorable smut I’ve read but considering I’m reading three erotica books alongside finishing this one, that’s no surprise. I was here for the emotions and fluff and it delivered.

All in all, it definitely will slot into being a comfort read and one of my favorites.

First let me say, I wish this was its own start to a series. The characters were just too likable for them not to get their own story. This book is a part of the Destination Daddies series. Tourist Attraction is a collaboration of authors Luna David and Honey London and it was amazingly sweet. It definitely gave me all the feels. The character development and the storyline were both just so sweet yet so naughty. Olie with his ongoing scientific facts, clumsiness and his love for grape jolly ranchers just made him the cutest thing ever then you add in the fact that Gavin listens to everything he says because of course, that's what a Daddy does.

The two lost souls meet while trying to get on a flight to Turks and Caicos for a Daddy week on the island sponsored by the dating app Cuff'd. All flights are canceled going to the island due to a tropical storm. Although this is the case it doesn't stop Gavin from trying to find a flight. The flight attendant is arguing with Gavin about the flight when she mentions the grounding of flights is due to a hurricane, Olie can't keep his mouth closed and corrects her to tell her it's a tropical storm and not a hurricane. This causes Gavin to look and when he does he finds the man intriguing. Gavin has always put his career as an emergency doctor first and feels he is not suited to be a Daddy. He doesn't want to disappoint another boy, but there's just something about Olie that he can't resist.

Although he resists at first, he decides he wants to take the time to get to know Olie and when he does the chemistry between them is explosive. They can't keep their hands off of each other. Although Gavin makes it clear to Olie from the beginning he can't give him long-term, he doesn't know if once they get home if he can stay away from his boy. Can all of the time together on the island lead to forever or will Gavin stand his ground and keep his career at the forefront of everything in his life? Can they get their happy ending?

I love a good Daddy/Boy romance and this had it all: passion, sweetness, love, and tenderness. I would highly recommend this book and will definitely be reading more in this series.

I received this ARC for my honest review from Gay Romance Reviews.

When I saw that Luna Davis and Honey London were teaming up to do a Daddy Kink-themed book, I about lost my dang mind. I had to get my hands on it as quickly as I could, and my excitement wasn't even a little misplaced. Tourist Attraction is full of humor, sweetness, and blazing chemistry.

Gavin and Ollie draw each other from the moment Ollie loses track of the words coming out of his mouth when Gavin is attempting to charm an airline customer service agent. Gavin can’t help but defend the sweet boy against the dismissive agent, even though he knows it will end his chances of getting on an earlier flight. Something about Ollie is pulling out all Gavin's Daddy instincts no matter how hard he fights them. He runs from their connection, thinking they’ll never see each other again. Then they discover they are at the same special retreat. The heat already simmering between them explodes. Now, they just need to get past two little things. One, that Gavin believes he can’t be the Daddy Ollie deserves, and two, that Ollie thinks he’ll never be enough (or always be too much).

The main characters are wonderful and just fit so well without feeling manufactured or fake. Their connection feels so vibrant it practically vibrates the pages. Ollie's friends are fun, and I loved the way they loved and supported Ollie. The story itself is fairly low angst, but it still gave me all the yearning and longing emotions I need in from romance novels. It also doesn't hurt that the steamy scenes gave the South's humid summer air a run for its money! I swooned over the blend of light kink and tender affection.

Davis's and London's writing styles bended seamlessly. Gavin's and Ollie's voices are consistent and distinguishable. I fell in love with this story as soon as I started it. I will definitely read Tourist attraction again.

P.S. Get ready to learn some fabulous words. Ollie's vocabulary is spectacular.

Gavin is a dedicated ER doctor and a Daddy Dom. He doesn't do relationships because his job is so demanding. He loves his job and refuses to make any changes until he meets his forever boy. Until then he just has to find temporary boys. Right now he is trying to travel to a Destination Daddies week in the islands. He wants to find some boys to play with and help him relax. Too bad there is a tropical depression holding up all the flights. When Gavin is flirting with the airline desk person, their conversation is interupted by a young man who lets them know the difference between a hurricane and a tropical storm. Gavin is fascinated by the man and wants to get to know him better. He quickly learns that Ollie has no filters and a fascinating knowledge of facts. He is also amazingly accident prone. Gavin's Daddy's tendencies are going crazy. Ollie needs a Daddy to look after him and build his confidence. The problem is that Ollie needs a forever Daddy and not a tempaorary Daddy so Gavin walks away to protect him.

Ollie is a student going after his master's in astrophysics. He is aware that he has no filter when it comes to conversations. He really wants a Daddy to love him, take care of him and help him improve socially. He figures that no Daddy would ever want a boy like him. Then he meets Gavin in the airport before his trip to a Daddies Destination weekend. Gavin seems to enjoy him as he is but the next morning he finds that Gavin has left him. Even Gavin can't handle him. His Little friends help him to realize that Gavin was acting as a Daddy and protecting him. They encourage Ollie to go after his Daddy.

This is a fun book especially with Ollie's accidents. I received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

This book is a great blend of humor, adorableness, and steam. The humor and adorableness come courtesy of Ollie, who along with his indefatigable group of friends manages to up the charm and sweetness factor to unprecedented levels. I cannot say enough good things about Ollie. Gavin is an essential factor in the “steam” department and, when he gets out of his own way, he’s a kind-when-he-should-be, harsh-when-they-want-to-be perfect fit as a Daddy for Ollie. He’s great, except for the fact that he’s obsessed with his own importance (he can’t *possibly* be the best at his very important career and be a good romantic partner) and, for most of the novel, unwilling to get over himself enough to rethink his priorities. Don’t get me wrong-- medicine is an extremely important career, and he is an inherently good person. He’s also a bit of a tool, up to and until the moment when it finally, finally dawns on him that he should probably have listened to Ollie. I loved that he got there eventually, hated that it took him messing things up first to do it, but isn’t that always the way? Honestly, the whole book makes for a fun reading experience, although I will say that I didn’t like the big reconciliation as much as I think I was supposed to-- I can be a grinch about public grand gestures (way too much pressure to go along, even if someone isn’t feeling it) and this is ESPECIALLY true about grand gestures at someone’s workplace...I get that it’s all light-hearted romcom fun, but hey, romance writers-- let’s normalize not making that performative, vaguely coercive stuff seem like relationship goals, if we could please? All in all, however, I’d highly recommend this book for a nice blend of heat & sweet.

*I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
