okay, well. tears. so many tears. sobbing currently. go read this book right now. this is the BEST draco fanfic i have ever read in my life. but, the reason i gave it 4 stars was because, damn this was so toxic, the smut was crazy rough, and i didn’t enjoy that. and, the main character, such a push over, you know? she really pissed me off sometimes. but, i totally recommend. go read this!

I really liked some chapters. This book could have been much better if the writing was better and if plot was present much more. In my opinion, the plot started picking up at the end while in begging and middle there were some plot and filler in chapters but they were overshadowed with smut and other scenes. For my taste this book has too much toxic smut and this Draco sound extremely bipolar (what are those scenes? 🤨). That's the main reason why I'm taking off the stars. An okay read. I'm unsure if I'm going to read the sequel tho. I'm interested what happens next but is it worth it?

i do not like draco in this fic at all. there were some cute moments but it was way too smutty for me with little actual plot until the end (WHICH DID MAKE UP FOR THE REST TBH) but the ending made me upset... the sequel to this book tho...... PERFECTION and draco definitely has his redemption!! also i don't think draco was supposed to be particularly likable so i think the author did a good job of that which made the betrayal in elaras pov even worse
