Absolutely fantastic book that is very well written and is hilarious as well as being a good informative way to teach children about other cultures. Myself and my 9 year old son really enjoyed reading it

I enjoyed the style and tone of this book. It was fun and whimsical. Which made it real surprising to see toxic religion poke its head up. I hate it when Christians do it, and even though I'm glad to see representation of the Muslim faith, I sure don't like this sort of thing: "(Dad) says that even if something feels hard and horrible at the time, Allah does it for a reason." Ugh. So every bad thing that happens is on purpose? Because a higher power is... I don't know... testing you, or putting puzzle pieces together to benefit you in some way. So all the Covid deaths? Those were a higher being's plan? Cancer? War? Terrorism? All on purpose? It's toxic theology, no matter what faith it comes from. Is this the message kids need to be hearing right now? That a higher power has intentionally created this moment in time for some unknown reason. How's that going to land for a kid whose parent has died from Covid?

Love the Planet Omar Series and so so so glad this book exists for SO many Muslim kids but also for Non-Muslim kids to read too! A fun, wholesome and pure series for kids featuring a Main Muslim Character! We truly LOVE to see it! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Omar thinks taking the blame for things he didn’t do to save other people from getting into trouble was a good idea until he is the one that is seen as a Troublemaker…
Love the inclusion of Mindfulness and how Allah always has a plan and how we can only see one part of the puzzle piece but trust that everything will work out for the best!
Love Omar’s family and how we have wonderful loving and supportive parents!

Planet Omar is probably one of my favourite series I've ever read. So I was excited when I spotted this at the library!
It was a great story, with many unexpected plots! There was a lot of humour along the way too, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The pictures, which are drawn in a cartoon style, are very nice, and I believe it is a great addition to the book. There are a lot of pictures in it too, so it makes all of the pages look interesting.
To sum it all up, this book was fantastic and funny. Would recommend to anyone who loves funny stories.

Thank you Edelweiss for an advanced copy. This chapter book is much more lighthearted than the first book in the series. You don't really need to read the previous books to understand what is happening here. The themes of honesty, friendship, heroism, and bravery are all topics that can be discussed. Younger students will enjoy this fun read, so I will purchase a copy for my classroom.

This was book #4 in the Planet Omar series and I thought it was just as well written and fun as the other books. Book #5 was supposed to release this year, but I see it's pre-order set foe release June 2023. I read book #1 because it was on the battle of the books list. I enjoyed it and read the other 3 and now am excited for next year when #5 comes out.

A good series for kids with relatable dilemmas they will face as they grow up, told in a humorous and relatable way. Also a great character to look up to and encourages/exemplifies moral behaviors/choices.

My class and I have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of this book and I was so excited to get my hands on it!
Planet Omar is one of my favourite series and this book was another triumph. In this story, Omar tries to help his friends and stop them from getting into trouble. He takes the blame himself for their misdemeanours and becomes a hero in the eyes of his classmates. However, when something more serious happens, Omar is also blamed, due to his recent actions. Omar realises that telling lies, even for a good reason, is still not a good idea. Will he be able to proof his innocence and convince his teachers that he is not to blame?
It's wonderful to be back in Omar's world. The love between Omar and his family and friends is so sweet. There are lots of funny and silly parts in these stories, but there is also always wonderful messages about being kind and understanding.
These books make my class highle and they also give them great examples of how to be a good friend. I hope Zanib Mian keeps writing many more Omar stories.
