Don’t worry, I didn’t die. I’m not that easy to kill.
Hades cured me with that little vial he poured down my throat, and now I’m stuck in the Underworld.
At least I’ve got all my guys with me on this forced vacation. Greyson keeps freaking out, Apollo is set on pushing every single one of my personal boundaries, Hades just wants to keep me safe, and Pim finally breaks his silence.
There’s just one problem crashing this honeymoon phase—Persephone doesn’t want us here, and she will stop at nothing to destroy me.
It makes no sense, I did nothing to Hades’ ex.
Except finally I discover just who I am, and all the pieces fall into place. Persephone has a very good reason to want me dead, after all.
I know who I am. I know where I came from. And I’ve collected the sins of my heritage.
The fate of a dragon leaves a Vicious Ache. ***
Welcome to the Fated Universe, where each series focuses on a different set of fated mates. By the end of each series, each couple will have their happily ever after. Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance.
Not every loose end will be resolved in each universe at the end of each series. Some secrets will span across additional series but will in no way take away from the individual stories. You can still read each series out of order, but the suggested reading order is as follows:
Elle Lincoln has been writing out her dreams and even nightmares for over a decade. She believes in magic in all forms, and oftentimes you’ll find her daydreaming in the oddest of places. Her passion is Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance, where the men are a little bit real and a dash of mythical.
When Elle isn’t writing she’s probably chasing around her four children, child-like husband, and a rambunctious Australian Shepherd. All who keep her on her toes. Nice try with the distractions, but mommy still got those books written and published. She resides in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania with lore and legends, and a whole lot of cornfields.
This book, God this book. How would I recover?! It was such a ride. I thought a taste would be sufficient, but it wasn't. I read the whole dang thing. Now I need the next one. Glad I already have it.
I'm happy Vanessa was finally able to lose her virginity. Her mates are so hot, a mystery still. Goddamn that Persephone though, I hate her so much. That cliffy 😭.
Previous: So I am not sure how I missed the release of #2 & #3 books in fated sight series...But now that I know about these...You bet I'm gonna read'em ASAP!
Elle Lincoln has done such an incredible job with this series so far. I'm in awe of Nessa's story and I might even like it more than Bean's story. This second book throws a whole lot at you, but even so, the pace is nice and I feel like we discover new information in a way that is not overwhelming or makes the story feel rushed.
I think the main question to be answered from the previous book was "What is Nessa?" and lucky for you, you finally get your answer in this book--and then some. Lincoln weaves such an intricate web with her backstories for each character and blends them into the whole plot of the story so well, that you slowly get to see all of the pieces of the puzzles fitting together. Sometimes even things you wouldn't consider to be linked, end up being connected in a way you would have never guessed. Expect several surprises and revelations while you read.
What I was happy to see in this book was more use of powers. Even though Nessa was new to everything, it was still a relief to kind of see her struggle in adjusting to her new self. Lincoln is realistic in her writing and it shows in how Nessa isn't automatically skilled with her abilities. I often see in books when characters first get their powers that there's little time in between the power reveal and the character using their powers perfectly. Lincoln even added some comic relief when Nessa first started showing glimpses of her powers and to me, that just made things even better.
You get a lot from this one book. Besides the steam increasing from the previous book, there is humor and banter, heartache and grief, a taste of betrayal and forgiveness...basically just a mashup of all the possible feelings you can experience while reading. The cliffhanger might leave you in a heap on the floor, but it's good to see Nessa have some motivation for doing what needs to be done. I cannot wait to see what she is capable of in the next book. I feel like she is underestimated by many in this series, but I know with the right mindset, she is going to be a force of nature.
Vanessa....I just....god damn it.. I dont even have words girl. This character is so complex and interesting I cant even begin to describe her to someone. The amount of layers she has is absolutely incredible. All of the men have layers and Lincoln is known for making amazing characters but Nessa? Shes just something else. That said, her story arch for this book, 🤯 amazing. It's so honest and believable. Its heartbreaking and true. Every step of the way you are right there with the character there are no crazy jumps emotionally or in the timeline. The plot for this book is incredible, I mean of course it is, but like it really really is. Every book I'm worried that the hype is too big in my head or it's not going to be as good as the last, pshhh this might be my favorite book I've read of Lincoln's. So much happens and it's not a hea or a hfn it's a life happens and sometimes we make mistakes and we have to live with the consequences because we arnt ready for out hero moment and like damn girl. I appreciate that. Drop the mic, cliffhanger, see you in book 3, Nessa's got this. If you haven't read this series do it. If you haven't read anything by Elle Lincoln before, do it. I promise you wont be disappointed.
Vicious is book 2 of the Fated Sight series and must be read in order.
I really enjoyed aspects of this book- it’s hard to me to give a raving review only for personal reasons, nothing about the quality of the story, or anything. It was perfect. My personal tastes come in to play, and I’m not a big fantasy/mythological fiction reader. This book takes a turn into that realm, and it’s just not my cup of tea. (I didn’t know this before starting the book.)
But other than that, this book was amazing. We see unique struggles for this bonded group, the theme/plot is excellent, the relationships are dynamic and ever changing. An fantastic book, regardless of my personal tastes.
And honestly, even though I struggled wrapping my brain around it, I loved it so much, and I can’t wait for the next one!
I read Read the Fated Souls series that came previously and was entranced in it. I knew another arc was going to be released but didn't realize it would be so soon. So when Visions finally came up on to bat on TBR list imagine my surprise when I realized what it was. I was immediately sucked into this book. Its so all consuming while yoh read it that you don't even want to take pee breaks. Wish book 3 was already out. Going to go put release date in my calendar asap. Thank you Elle Lincoln for this wonderful story
Cliffhangers suck. However, I can't wait for the next one. I'm really loving Vanessa's story. She's growing stronger and the cat is definitely out of the bag. She's really beginning to learn who she is. She's still whiney. I hope that stops. The story is getting more and more intricate and it's definitely a good read. Not edge of your seat but still pretty good. I received an ARC and I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Elle does it again. She makes me laugh so hard I cry at the same time makes me cry for the main characters pain. We met all of Nessa's mates and book one. She actually claims so I'm in this book but also has one reject her and leave. She learns who her father is and what she is finally. There is just so much in this book that answers questions but still leaves you needing more especially with that ending!
Elle Lincoln is hands down my favorite author. I love every single thing she puts out, all the words on each page. I’m a huge PNR fan and love whenever greek mythology is thrown in there and I love the way Elle spins this series.
Book 2 follows Vanessa and her harem as she finds out what she is and comes to terms with her birthright. The picture Elle painted on the Underworld is amazing. like, i would visit there for a day. yanno, hang out with the gang.
anyway, I loved this book and Elle. If you haven’t read her before I think you need to. I’ll forever recommend the Fated Souls series but equally love this one!
This is book two in the Fated Sight series and picks up where book two leaves off. The story continues Vanessa's journey of discovery. I love the chemistry with het and her mates and the heat they bring. I also love the bond Vanessa has with her friends. There are many twists and I was pulled in right from the start and completely hooked until the end. I can't wait for book three.
It’s not that the book isn’t good because it is. It’s that Vanessa’s character is so disappointing. She is still running and keeping herself willfully ignorant at the expense of the people around her who she claims to care for. She deserved what she got at the ending but I hope she is able to atone in the next book. I also really want to know what the heck Greyson is going to do about his situation because groveling alone ain’t gonna cut it
I loved this book. It ends on a hell of a cliffhanger so the only reason I’m not losing my shit right now is because the series is complete. This book was really well written, as are all of Elle’s stories. I love the characters and the worlds she created. I’ll be starting the next book immediately!
Sorry (not sorry) I hated this book. I had such high hopes for Vanessa’s character, but this was a disappointment Seriously, all her men reject her?! They treat / talk to her like shit and she accepts it? The amount of “ betrayal / forgiveness” is too much. Literally all the men are kinda sucky. I’m just going to skip ahead to book 8 and go with a character I like.
Vanessa omg your amazing. This book left you on the edge of your seat. Once you think you know something nope twist. By the end of the book you were left with the ultimate twist...and a cliffhanger. I am so ready for book three.
This story is a wild ride! There is heartbreak, raw emotions, an incredible storyline. This is very well written, with vivid detail and a smooth pacing. The ending leaves you hanging on a cliff waiting for the next book.
I can’t wait for the next book. This one was better than the first. More is explained and it’s explained better than the first. Some lines are hard to follow when they are explained but they are getting better.
Oh my this is such a great book. Emotional roller coaster, check. Steamy sex scenes, check check. Great characters and story. I absolutely can't wait for the next book. Ahhhh I need it lol. You will love this series read it.
The story got good! Vanessa is naive and impulsive, but had a heart the size of a dragon. Super angsty near the end but a lot of secrets are revealed. Can’t wait for the next book.
Wow. Again with the cliff hanger? Really? Your so lucky I absolutely love these books otherwise I would continue reading. But alas. This book was just as amazing as the first in Nessa's journey. Can't wait for the next one
