The Other Side II
In The Other Side I, Society accused Leon Granttley of assaulting his childhood friend. He blamed the incident on the voice in his mind.
The result was being sent to the Earthshine Facility where he was forced to accept his DID and told that he needed to change and blend with the normal people in society.
Not long after, he was kidnapped from his home on Planet Earth and learned that the voice in his mind was none other than his reflection, Néol Yelltnarg. While stuck on Planet Heart, the two (others) were recruited by The Neo Knights, a large group of Earthling's who were also snatched from their homes and forced to live out their reflection's miserable lives.
One early morning after Leon's rescue, a mysterious phone call alerts the Neo Knights to a possible ambush from their enemies, The Lunae Lux. Many panic and attempt to leave Planet Heart, but the Lunae Lux are ruthless and leave a clear warning: Stay where you belong. Stuck and afraid, tensions swell within this rebellious organization.
There are thousands of members within the Neo Knights who have have not seen their family for decades. Parents have been separated from children. Husbands and wives have been away from one another for thirty plus years. Careers, schools, and relationships of all kinds were put to a halt. Members who miss their families want to return to their home planet. Others suggest staying and taking down Festano - the leader of the Lunae Lux and the one responsible for switching people between planets.
To this nefarious army, it doesn't matter whether the Neo Knights remain as hostages on Planet Heart or return to Earth as fugitives.
All that matters is that they crush their spirits.

If you've experienced anything that has troubled you in life, this is the story for you. In my 15 years of writing, this series served as an amazing escape. And I know it can do the same for you. The many characters in this ongoing series feel alive because of their traumas. It's what makes them who they are.
If you're struggling with trauma, you can see what they do to make light of theirs and how they build a community for one another to feel loved. Appreciated. The list goes on.

Hace ya un tiempo que terminé The Other Side II, le puse 3,5/5⭐️ y por fin puedo traerles mi reseña!🌔

Este libro continua justo dónde termina el anterior, así que no puedo contarles mucho de la trama sin arruinarles el final del primer tomo🤫 Una vez que empezó la acción, no pude parar de leer! Las últimas 200 páginas se me pasaron volando🤩
Disfruto muchísimo de ver pelis de terror y cualquier cosa de ficción que me asuste. En el libro hay una parte en la que aparecieron unas arañas y me asustó bastante!😅 Puede ser que el hecho de que sea aracnofóbica haya contribuido, pero la escena en sí estuvo muuuy bien escrita😦
Si bien la lectura se me hizo más dinámica respecto al libro
anterior, ya que había más diálogos y no tantas descripciones, si tuviera que hacerle una crítica, sería que
algunas partes las sentí un poco largas. Parecía que los
personajes pasaban demasiado tiempo en un
mismo lugar🫢
En cuanto a los personajes, me gustaría pedirles perdón a Miles y Selim, (que fueron mi dupla favorita en el libro anterior), porque fueron oficialmente destronados por Leon y Néol🥰 Amé el desarrollo y la evolución que tuvo su relación en este libro! Y después obvio, Toni sigue estando en mi top, la adoro😊

This books picks up right after the ending of the previous one, so I can’t tell you about the plot without spoiling you the first book🤫 Once the action started, I couldn’t put it down! I couldn’t get to the ending fast enough🤩
I really enjoy watching horror movies and basically anything that scares me (in fiction, obviously😂). There’s one part in the book where some big spiders make an appearance and I got quite scared!😅 Maybe the fact that I’m arachnophobic helped, but I felt like it was written amazingly😦
Whereas I felt that this book was more dynamic than the first one, because there were less descriptions and more dialogues, if I had to talk about a negative point, I’d say that some scenes were a bit too long. I felt like sometimes the characters spent too much time on the same place🫢
Regarding the characters, I’d like to apologise to Miles and Selim (they were my favourite duo in the last book), because they were replaced by Leon and Néol🥰 I loved the development on their relationship! And then, of course that Toni is still pretty high up on my list. I adore her😊

El primer tomo de esta saga me había gustado mucho, pero con esta nueva entrega realmente pude adentrarme mucho más en la historia y disfrutarla con más ganas. A la vez, como ya sabemos bastante de ambos mundos, la trama no se detiene en explicar el funcionamiento de los mundos, si no en lo que acontece.
Debo admitir que cuando lo vi, me intimidó la cantidad de páginas (más de 600). Pero apenas arranqué a leerlo, no pude soltarlo. Se lee rapidísimo, hay bastante diálogo y las descripciones no son tan extensas como quizás lo eran en el primer tomo.
Arranca desde donde terminó el anterior, aspecto que siempre valoro mucho porque siempre hace que me enganche desde la primera página. Hay mucha más acción y aventuras, y se suman nuevas incógnitas. También me gustó que, al contrario del primer libro, no se centre en Leon, si no que vemos los acontecimientos desde el punto de vista de distintos personajes y eso hizo que la historia en sí sea más enriquecedora.
No sabía que el autor era tan malo como para matar a personajes con los que me había encariñado. También vemos la evolución y conocemos más en profundidad a los personajes que vienen del primer tomo.
También sigue la dinámica de los códigos QRs, esta vez hay más herramientas e incluso en diálogos se superponen los QRs para sentir la historia de una manera mucho más real.
Algo que también mejoró y me ayudó mucho fue que, con las aclaraciones del principio -que me ayudaron a recordar varios aspectos y herramientas que se usan en todo el libro- hay un trigger warning que siempre es bien apreciado.
No puedo decir nada del final… ¡solo que necesito que Justin publique el tercer libro!
Sin lugar a dudas, ¡arranqué el 2022 con una lectura excelente!

The 🌙ther Side II de Justin Jay Gladstone es la segunda parte de The 🌙ther Side I en la que se presenta a varios personajes que son llevados a conocer a sus otros yo en un universo paralelo.
¿Les pasó de leer segundas partes que les gustara más que la primera? Bueno, esto es lo que me pasó con este libro.
En la primera parte se conoce a Leon, un chico que es llevado a un universo paralelo en el que está su otro yo llamado Néol. La particularidad de este mundo es que lo bueno que le pasa a uno es exactamente lo contrario para el otro. Acá vuelven a aparecer junto a personajes como Miles, Selim y Ephraim entre otros que tendrán que decidir si quieren detener a quien ha estado cambiando a las personas de su universo o si desean volver a sus casas.
En este libro no solo se conoce más de diferentes personajes, si no que hay más acción y una dualidad sobre el bien y mal que vuelve con fuerza. Se puede ver que los personajes están aprendiendo a convivir con sus otros mientras tratan de parar a los villanos. Me encantó que pudo conocerse en profundidad la relación de Miles y Selim que antes eran personajes que no tenían tanta relevancia, al igual que Ephraim, quien aparece recién al final del primer libro. Hay muchas escenas graciosas que me hicieron amar a los personajes más de lo que ya lo hacía, aunque las escenas trágicas no se quedan atrás.
La verdad es que fue una experiencia muy buena de lectura. Pude comentar con el autor todo lo que pasaba en la historia y me bancó aunque le gritara por haberle hecho cierta cosa a cierto personaje. La historia se lee muy rápido y deja como siempre con ganas de más.
Si están buscando un libro de ciencia ficción con amistades divertidas y mucha acción esta saga es la indicada.

Did you happen to read second parts that you liked more than the first? Well, this is what happened to me with this book.
In the first part, Leon is met, a boy who is taken to a parallel universe in which his other self called Néol is. The peculiarity of this world is that the good that happens to one is exactly the opposite for the other. Here they reappear alongside characters like Miles, Selim and Ephraim among others who will have to decide if they want to stop whoever has been changing the people in their universe or if they want to return home.
In this book not only is more known about different characters, but there is more action and a duality about good and evil that returns with force. You can see that the characters are learning to get along with their others as they try to stop the villains. I loved that the relationship between Miles and Selim, who were previously characters that were not so relevant, could be known in depth, like Ephraim, who appears at the end of the first book. There are many funny scenes that made me love the characters more than I already did, although the tragic scenes are not far behind.
The truth is that it was a very good reading experience. I was able to comment with the author on everything that happened in the story and he stand there even though I yelled at him for having done a certain thing to a certain character. The story is read very quickly and leaves as always wanting more.
If you are looking for a science fiction book with fun friendships and a lot of action, this series is the one for you.

Primero me gustaría agradecer al autor por el ejemplar de este libro.
Me gustaría comenzar diciendo que este libro me ha dejado sorprendida y me ha gustado mucho. Después de todo lo que nos presenta el autor en el primer libro, está segunda entrega viene con toda.
Nos encontramos donde termina el libro anterior, y es muy bueno volver a leer sobre Leon y Néol, pero también me ha gustado poderme adentrarse más en la construcción del mundo que plantea el autor.
Cuando el primer libro se me hizo un poco descriptivo, este es pura acción. La trama fluye con facilidad y te puedes enganchar más con los personajes principales pero también llegas a conocer mejor a los demás como Miles y Selim.
En este segundo tomo se nota el avance del autor, creando escenas que te hacer reír, enojarte o hasta darte escalofríos.
Nuevamente, me gustaría aplaudir la creatividad a la hora de crear los personajes y utilizar recursos innovadores para ayudar a entender la historia. El uso de códigos QR se me hace un acierto muy innovador y que no he visto en ningún otro libro.
Me ha gustado mucho, a pesar que se me ha hecho algo difícil algunas cosas de vocabulario en inglés, ha logrado atraparme.
El final del libro me lo devoré y solo me deja con más dudas y ganas de saber cómo continuará.

I would like to start by saying that this book has surprised me and I liked it a lot. After everything that the author presents us in the first book, this second part comes with everything.
We are where the previous book ends, and it is very good to read about Leon and Néol again, but I also liked being able to go deeper into the construction of the world that the author proposes.
Where the first book was a bit descriptive for me, this one is pure action. The plot flows easily and you can get more hooked with the main characters but you also get to know better others like Miles and Selim.
In this second volume the progress of the author is noted, creating scenes that make you laugh, get angry or even give you chills.
Again, I would like to applaud the creativity in creating the characters and using innovative resources to help understand the story. The use of QR codes seems to me to be a very innovative success that I have not seen in any other book.
I liked it a lot, despite the fact that some vocabulary in English have been somewhat difficult for me, it has managed to catch me.
I devoured the end of the book and it only leaves me with more doubts and the desire to know how it will continue.

I wanted to take a moment to explain why I decided to remake my novels into a webcomic format. Growing up, I wasn’t really someone who read a lot of books. Instead, I spent most of my time playing video games, getting lost in the worlds they created and the characters that came to life right before my eyes. I’ve always been a visual learner, so while writing allowed me to express my ideas, it never quite felt like it captured the full experience I had in my head.
When I tried translating my thoughts into written form, I often felt like something was missing. My imagination works best when I can see the action and visualize every moment. That’s when I realized that a webcomic might be the perfect way to bring my stories to life. With the webcomic format, I’m able to share the worlds I’ve imagined with all the visuals, emotions, and moments that words alone couldn’t fully convey.
I hope this new format helps you experience the story in a way that feels more immersive and aligns with how I’ve always imagined it. Thanks for sticking with me on this journey—I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the webcomic version!

El primer libro de esta saga me gustó mucho, pero esta segunda entrega lo supera. Se nota mucho el avance y experiencia adquirida por el autor en la escritura, con una perspectiva más amplia y una forma excepcional de contar esta gran historia.
De las cosas que más me gustan de estos libros son las herramientas didácticas como las ilustraciones y códigos QR que ayudan en la lectura y la hacen más entretenida y atrapante, cosa que le aplaudo al creador debido a que esto de los códigos QR no lo he visto en ningún otro libro.
Este libro contiene mucha acción, todo el tiempo está pasando algo por lo que no llegas a aburrirte en ningún momento. Te engancha rápido, quieres seguir leyendo para poder descubrir cómo avanza la historia.
En cuanto la ambientación, me gustó el poder conocer cómo funciona este universo de mundos paralelos, están muy bien estructurados, no abruma en ningún momento, se siente ligero, mucho más emocionante y lleno de aventura.
Los diferentes puntos de vista fue un acierto total, nos permite conocer mejor a los personajes, sus motivaciones y evolución, además que encontramos muchos diálogos que facilitan la lectura y el poder empatizar con cada uno de ellos.
Lo disfrute de principio a fin, aunque tardé leyéndolo por mi nivel de inglés. Muero por saber cómo continua esta gran historia.
El primer libro de esta saga me gustó mucho, pero esta segunda entrega lo supera. Se nota mucho el avance y experiencia adquirida por el autor en la escritura, con una perspectiva más amplia y una forma excepcional de contar esta gran historia.
De las cosas que más me gustan de estos libros son las herramientas didácticas como las ilustraciones y códigos QR que ayudan en la lectura y la hacen más entretenida y atrapante, cosa que le aplaudo al creador debido a que esto de los códigos QR no lo he visto en ningún otro libro.
Este libro contiene mucha acción, todo el tiempo está pasando algo por lo que no llegas a aburrirte en ningún momento. Te engancha rápido, quieres seguir leyendo para poder descubrir cómo avanza la historia.
En cuanto la ambientación, me gustó el poder conocer cómo funciona este universo de mundos paralelos, están muy bien estructurados, no abruma en ningún momento, se siente ligero, mucho más emocionante y lleno de aventura.
Los diferentes puntos de vista fue un acierto total, nos permite conocer mejor a los personajes, sus motivaciones y evolución, además que encontramos muchos diálogos que facilitan la lectura y el poder empatizar con cada uno de ellos.

Seguimos a Leon que junto a sus amigos están haciendo todo lo posible para derrotar a Festano y a los Lunae Lux, para así recuperar su antigua vida y volver con su familia
En esta segunda entrega se puede notar el crecimiento del autor, logró expandir más el mundo sin abrumarnos con tanta información y como ya sabemos cómo funcionan ambos mundos, la lectura es mucho más ligera y logra enganchar desde el principio. Además de que profundizó en los personajes que en el anterior eran secundarios y en este se vuelven protagonistas, contándonos sobre su pasado y descubriendo a la par de ellos cosas que no sabían de su persona.
También tenemos mucha más acción, todo el tiempo estaban pasando cosas que me hacían que no quisiera soltarlo nunca hasta terminarlo pero al mismo tiempo tenía un miedo de llegar al final.
Algo que le sumó muchísimo fue que, al contrario del anterior, tengamos desde diferentes puntos de vista. Tanto de el grupo como de los villanos de esta historia, conociéndolos más y descubriendo sus motivaciones.
Al igual que el primero, sigue teniendo los códigos QR que hacen que sea más dinámico, al darnos una idea de cómo son los personajes y agregar un poco más de información.
Al principio tenemos algunas aclaraciones sobre los símbolos que aparecen en las diferentes parte, trigger warning que siento que son necesarias y por supuesto una carta que hace un pequeño resumen del primer libro.
En fin, una saga que vale mucho la pena, no tienen idea lo mucho que me reí, las diferentes teorías que hacía durante y después de terminarlo, además de lo que sufrí por todo lo que estaba pasando.
Ya quiero saber cómo sigue la historia y, si les quedó alguna duda, pueden hablarle al autor y él siempre trata de contestarlas sin darte algún spoiler de los siguientes libros.

With the threat of the Lunae Lux looming ever closer, Leon, his ‘other’ Néol, and the Neo Knights must find a way to save Stefano, protect themselves, and stop their enemies. Following right on the heels of book one, Justin expands on his reflecting worlds and the principles contained within them. We see more about how one side’s actions directly cause inverse reactions in the other, and the level of character depth increases dramatically.
Leon, who’s rather passive in TOS1, begins to grow from the selfish and closed-minded views we saw before, and Néol’s standoffish attitude isn’t all it seems to be. We even see tons more from Miles and Selim, even learning a bit about their lives before they became Knights. And Èphraim. Oh man. Our mysterious hero is a force to be reckoned with in TOS2, and the things we learn about him definitely rattle the worlds.
Also unique in this installment were the glimpses into the Lunae Lux’s operations. It’s a brilliant dive into the resources and reasonings for this group’s motives, and the questions they raise in a reader’s mind make me very eager to see how this group will progress in book 3. Especially with that Nova guy.
Justin’s writing style and descriptions have grown quite a bit in this second book. It was so easy to follow the action and settings, and he even creates some deep emotional connections to characters we get to know even more. With a cast this large, it’s quite impressive how much we learn about every character and see them individually. This book might be long, but it’s worth every page!

Primer libro del año y que libro!
Este segundo libro es mucho más dinámico que el primero,más dialogo y menos descripción,mucha más acción.
Tengo que decir que Justin pega el volantazo con la trama, el primero planteo un mundo, unas reglas pero aca vemos mucho más y todo se vuelve 😱
Justin puede ser malo, eso si, eso se los aviso y el final es para terminar y arrancar con el tercero a ver como sigue la cosa.
El ingles necesario es un ingles avanzado

I devoured this book like Jackal, it was that good of a read to me. I don't even know how to go about this book without spoiling anything. There were so many things I enjoyed about this book, one being the storytelling. This story is such an awesome blend of fantasy and sci-fi, gives such a deep understanding of each character's perception of the situation and what's at stake for them, and expands so much on the world and how it works without being overbearing.

Es por libros como este que defiendo que las segundas partes pueden llegar a ser lo mejor de una serie. Fue la combinación exacta de todo lo bueno del primer libro y una mejora de aquello que quizás había quedado a medio camino.
Partiendo desde donde se quedó el primer libro, en esta segunda entrega la tensión y la intriga solo aumentan. Aunque al principio me costó agarrarle el ritmo pues ✨bloqueo lector✨, una vez me volví a adentrar en este retorcido pero asombroso mundo no pude parar. Me bajé las 654 páginas en una semana.
Al ya conocer cómo funcionan los diferentes mundos y no ser necesario introducirnos a cada uno de los principios, la trama se centró mucho más en cada situación y en profundizar bastante en cada personaje, y creo que esto fue un factor muy importante para que me gustara tanto. Es un libro bastante largo, pero cada página vale la pena.
Como dije, una de las cosas que más destaco es el gran crecimiento que tuvieron los personajes, me encantó ver a Leon ganar seguridad y conocer un poquito más de Néol, al igual que volver a encontrarme con Selim y Miles, de mis personajes favoritos 💛 Pero también me sorprendió ver lo mucho que creció el autor. Algo que me había pasado con el primer libro es que a veces era tanta la información que tenía que procesar que me perdía, pero en esta nueva oportunidad a pesar de haber escenas bastante cargadas, las descripciones mejoraron bastante y fue mucho más fácil seguirle el ritmo a todo lo que pasaba. Además, otra de las cosas en que mejoró es que esta vez se mencionan los 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 al comienzo.
Y obviamente no podía dejar de mencionar los códigos QR y los mensajes reflejados, me siguen pareciendo un detalle increíble. Realmente el único gran defecto que le encontré fue que, al igual que el primer libro, cada vez que salía de casa no podía llevarlo conmigo porque me resultaba muy pesado.
Nada más que agradecer al autor por volver a confiar en mí y enviarme una copia de su libro. No puedo esperar para seguir descubriendo todo lo que tienen para dar estos mundos.

Así como en el primer tomo de The Other Side, en The Other Side II nos encontramos con codigos QR para seguir la historia, los cuales incluyen herramientas más interactivas.
Para recapitular un poco, nos encontramos con una novela de misterio y fantasía donde tenemos un mundo paralelo, que tiene emociones opuestas al nuestro. Digamos un día y noche reflejados. Conoceremos a Leon, un chico de 17 años quien tiene transtorno de personalidad múltiple y es forzado a asistir a una institución donde hay terapeutas para tratarlo.
Empezando la historia justo donde terminó el primer libro y adentrandonos en nuevas aventuras conociendo los diferentes puntos de vista de otros personajes y no solo desde la perspectiva de Leon.
Podemos ver el desarrollo de personajes que se introdujeron en el primer libro y ya no necesitamos tantas descripciones porque estamos más familiarizados con los mundos, lo cual ayuda a que sea mas dinamica y centrada en la historia.
Sin duda alguna espero con ansias el tercer libro que aún no esta publicado.

We will meet Leon, a 17-year-old boy who has multiple personality disorder and is forced to attend an institution where there are therapists to treat him.
We start just where we finished the first book and getting into new adventures, getting to know different points of view of other characters and not only from Leon's eyes.
We can see the development and growth of the characters that we knew in the first book and we don't need anymore that much descriptions as we already know about the worlds, this help to have a more dynamic reading and centralized in the story itself.
With no doubt I am waiting for the third book to be published.

First thing's first--I have to say that I devoured this book like Jackal. It was that good of a read to me. It arrived at my place two days before writing this review, and I spent about 16 hours reading it, almost non-stop.
With that aside, and without going into spoiler territory, I will do my best to give an honest review regarding this book. I was entrusted with a free paperback copy in exchange for this, but that will not stop my brutal honesty.
If I could give partial points, I would. Like Book 1, there was quite a bit of grammatical errors that could have benefited from more editing, but less so than its predecessor. And there was a chapter that would have flowed easier if it had proper page breaks. However, these flaws are overshadowed by the strength of the story and the complex, relatable characters.
From the struggle with trying to coexist with your other, to the suffocating sensation of feeling alone because nobody is capable of understanding you, or believing your experiences, Justin/Nitsuj is able to convey all of these aspects of a wide cast to the reader, which is something I feel the world needs today. There are many stories about great characters who suffer tragedy and trauma, but there is only so much relativity that readers can connect with. We need more stories about the internal suffering of humankind, the struggles that fall on deaf ears, and the author has done well to bring them to light.
Like I said earlier, I wish I could give partial points. This wasn't a perfect piece of composition, but it was still great, and I was able to push past the errors so that I can dive deep into this tale. I would give this a 4.7/5 stars. I would definitely read this again, and I have already begun recommending it to others.
Oh, and my favorite line? "We're out of bread, and I'm out of patience!"

Mi última lectura del 2021: ¿valió la pena?
La respuesta corta es: sí.
Esta segunda parte de una futura saga me terminó sorprendiendo.
Hace unos meses había leído el primer libro y, si bien nunca lo consideré malo, dejé en claro que a mi parecer existían varios aspectos a mejorar.
Afortunadamente, desde un comienzo noté que en el segundo libro, los autores perfeccionaron de manera considerable tanto la escritura como el desarrollo de los personajes!
E incluso, como señalé hace unos días en mis historias, opino que incluso desde algo tan secundario como lo puede ser el diseño de la portada, me parecía que la de este libro progresó mucho en comparación a la anterior, que ya de por sí es muy bella.
Lo que destaco de esta entrega es que me fascinó cómo se mantuvo la intriga, y cómo pese a que es un libro relativamente largo, en ningún momento se hace cansador seguir la trama, pues está llena de acción y tiene plot-twists que te dejan reflexionando y queriendo saber más

firstly i want to say a massive thank you to Justin for sending me this book in exchange for a review, its been amazing reading your story.
this book is a sequel to the other side which i really enjoyed, you can see my review for that further down my page.
so a bit of a backstory: the main character leon is diagnosed with a wrongful disorder and is transported away to a different dimension where he meets his ”other”, which is the reflective version of him. he realizes that the institution that diagnosed him is purposely doing this with evil intentions. he teams up and gets close with other people who are going through the same thing.
and now in the second book, the adventures and difficulties that came from the events of the first book continue, and there is now a new crisis going on in the reflective dimension which leads to the group having to take action. there is a lot at stake. and let me tell you, the last pages are intense. and there is a big plot twist that i did not see coming…
since, according to me, it’s the characters that really make a book, I appreciate that we are introduced to some new amazing lovable characters while also getting a more deeper look into the old ones.
it’s really hard to talk about this book without spoiling anything, but if you are looking for a new sci-fi series with some amazing characters, i highly suggest you pick this up!

This continuation surprised me for the better. It no longer has the introductory factor that was covered for much of the first book.
I could see how the author grew along with the story itself, since the pen or way of writing it felt better when reading. I don't know how to explain it, but I really liked that detail.
I got to connect more with some characters, and I hated the villains more and everything they got to do.
The growth of the main character, Leon, is remarkable. I thought about how his story began and how he goes, and I find it amazing the change that he has had.
4.5 estrellas.
Esta continuación me sorprendió para bien. Ya no tiene el factor introductorio que se abarcó durante gran parte del primer libro.
Pude notar cómo creció el autor junto con la historia en sí, ya que la pluma o manera de escribir del mismo la sentí mejor al leer. No sé cómo explicarlo, pero me gustó mucho ese detalle.
Llegué a conectar más con algunos personajes, y odié más a los villanos y todo lo que llegaron a hacer.
El crecimiento del protagonista, Leon, es notable. Pensé en cómo empezó su historia y cómo va, y me parece alucinante el cambio que ha tenido.

This continuation surprised me for the better. It no longer has the introductory factor that was covered for much of the first book.
I could see how the author grew along with the story itself, since the pen or way of writing it felt better when reading. I don't know how to explain it, but I really liked that detail.
I got to connect more with some characters, and I hated the villains more and everything they got to do.
The growth of the main character, Leon, is remarkable. I thought about how his story began and how he goes, and I find it amazing the change that he has had.

Esta continuación me sorprendió para bien. Ya no tiene el factor introductorio que se abarcó durante gran parte del primer libro.
Pude notar cómo creció el autor junto con la historia en sí, ya que la pluma o manera de escribir del mismo la sentí mejor al leer. No sé cómo explicarlo, pero me gustó mucho ese detalle.
Llegué a conectar más con algunos personajes, y odié más a los villanos y todo lo que llegaron a hacer.
El crecimiento del protagonista, Leon, es notable. Pensé en cómo empezó su historia y cómo va, y me parece alucinante el cambio que ha tenido.

🏴A veces pienso mucho en leer las segundas partes de las historias, pero waoo que libro tan emocionante y maravilloso, siempre prefiere la ciencia ficción porque no me falla y sigo aprendiendo. Estoy muy emocionada de hablar de este libro que sin duda fue mejor que el primero con detalles que quedaron sueltos y mostrando un escritor poderoso en estos tiempos.
🖋️Ame la operación Lunae lux, fue espectacular vivir la aventura con grandes riesgos. Lo mejor de esta segunda parte es el cuestionamiento que nos deja, nos invita a preguntarnos cada día para que existimos.
Quiero hablar de algo importante y se le da una visión nueva, es que Justin Jay quiere hablar del tema de las enfermedades metales y lo hace con un gran apoyo de la ficción para mostrar problemas desde otra perspectiva y mirar lo difícil que son aceptarlos en la sociedad.
Soy fan ahora de Ephraim arc, me enseñó mucho en este tiempo. Lo mejor es seguir buscando la verdad a pesar de todas las dificultades y que a veces estar mal no significa el fin.

THE OTHER SIDE II by Justin Jay Gladstone was a book I was really looking forward to.
The first volume of the saga was really something even if I had a little trouble with some of the passages and the writing style but we see in this sequel a clear improvement.
The style is more linear, making the reading of the book more fluid.
Now that we know the characters a little more, we feel a little less overwhelmed by the story and the events.
I really liked the Ephraim arc, I found the story behind this character quite exciting and sad at the same time.
The way the author deals with some sensitive topics such as mental illness also adds depth to the story.
I don't know where the story is going to go from here and I do wonder why Miles' brother seems so important...
What happens to our characters after the end of book I? Who will emerge victorious from this inter-dimensional battle, the Lunae Lux or the Neo Knights?

I don't even know how to go about this book without spoiling anything. Picking up from where TOS 1 leaves off, you watch as everyone is on edge about what's coming next and how to handle it. There were so many things I enjoyed about this book, one being the storytelling. This story is such an awesome blend of fantasy and sci-fi, gives such a deep understanding of each character's perception of the situation and what's at stake for them, and expands so much on the world and how it works without being overbearing. The QR codes within the story were also a delight, making the world nearly tangible. I definitely recommend this to all readers who love sci-fi/fantasy and a big cast of characters. I'm excited on what's to come in TOS III!

🌙 Este libro inicia justo en el punto donde terminó el pasado, con la sorpresa de que tenemos más puntos de vista (el de los villanos 🤯), dándonos así una visión más amplia de todo lo que está sucediendo en ambos mundos, y al ya comprender cómo funcionan, es más fácil moverse por ellos y entender algunos de los fenómenos que ocurren en la historia. Las duplas de los personajes con sus opuestos (los de Earth y Heart) tienen mucha más interacción en este libro y debo decir que mis favoritos son Miles con Selim y Leon con Neol. Hay más aventuras, más acción y sufrimiento. Anímense a leer estos libros que no se van a arrepentir 😁.

Es la segunda novela que le va del autor y la verdad que me sorprendió muchísimo.
Me costó un poco terminar de leerlo porque mi nivel de inglés es muy básico pero lo disfrute de principio a fin. El autor hace que te enganches rápido y no lo sueltes hasta el final.
Vi un crecimiento y cambio de actudes en los personajes. La profundidad en la construcción de los mismos.
Estoy esperando con muchas ansias leer más de él.
