Cute little story. A meet-cute, a date that leads to more then promise of something lasting. As the title says it's a bold beginning. The connection and dynamic seemed fast setting yet they pause to take breath which is what won me over, there's time to work out the details, I really liked that.
It's labelled .5 and there's clearly more story here we only touch the surface of who these men are, and yet contradictory I'm not sure I want to read anymore, I like the story as it stands.

A meet cute with a shy giant and a outgoing smaller guy. I liked that they were opposites.
This 0.5 of a series and I'm interested to see where it goes. It's a good debut but some of the tenses need adjusted as they switch and the dialogue could do with tightening a little

I still find it cute and everything I said in my 1st review and it’s sweet to have a giant being a bottom and the little spoon but a 47 years old giant guy calling a 30 years old twink “ Daddy” is weird, I don’t know it just doesn’t work 🙄

This is the author’s first book I think and she did really great.
It’s cute, cuter than cute. Cuteness overload!!
It’s so damn short and no epilogue but it doesn’t end with HFN because they do make an appearance in the next book ( I’m gonna read next) so it’s definitely a HEA 😬

I loved giant sweet Samuel and sassy cute Devon, they were adorable together. I’m not fan of insta love and have sex after the 1st date but considering the length of the book and how it’s good written, I enjoyed a lot. It was believable. I wasn’t expecting Kitten to bottom but it was hot.
Only one niggle.. the daddy think as Samuel called Devon, didn’t work here. Not because Samuel is a giant and Devon too small and Twinkie to be a daddy but they don’t have a daddy kink. But it didn’t bother me that much. It’s kind of funny.
My only big complaint is it’s toooo short 😁
I was supposed to read book 1 first but I found about this little gem and I can’t wait to read the next one which came out today. This serie is my jam, I hope the next books have the same vibes.. I’m gonna take a little break then starting the 2nd book. I love chubby MCs, I’m tired of perfect flawless ones.

I highly recommend.

3.5 rounded to 4 just because it was so dang cute. I loved Devon. He knew exactly what’s Samuel seemed to need. I would definitely read more about these two. Samuel seems to have some holdover issues from a previous relationship and the daddy angle could be explored.

I loved the absolute boldness of Devon. That man has no shame and it was so endearing. This novella was definitely worth the time to read.

A short story to whet your appetite for a new series

This is too short for the story to have any depth but honestly, it didn't need it. Devon and Samuel meet, connect, fall in love in a matter of a few days. That's it. An odd couple but perfect for each other.
I read this and then went straight on to Beautifully Built and I was pleased to see Devon and Samuel appear a little in that, as friends of one of the MCs. The series appears to be going in the direction of interconnected characters and that's fine with me.

How sweet!

Ok this was so cute and sweet. Gentle giant Samuel gets totally swept of his feet by a younger and bolder Devon. Devon sees something he very much wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. Samuel might be older but he is definitely the sexy sweet kitten the other man thinks he is. He just needs someone right to help him find his confidence. What a great little novella!

Short and lovely!

I enjoyed this sweet beginning to a new series! I like the idea of messing with preconceived notions based on little more than body type. In this novella, an older giant of a man proves to be the exact opposite of a take-charge daddy, making him perfect for the man he never expected to meet. I’m looking forward to reading more books in this series

This short story was two things:

1) So sweet!
2) and to short!!

It's a really sweet meet-cute between Devon and Sam. They are an odd couple, with the giant, but marshmallow soft Sam and the witty and charming Devon, but their insta-love story works and sets the stage for the rest of the Built gang to have their stories as well.

Lovely!

A sweet novella about opposites attracted to one another. Devon is smallish in stature but not in attitude. Samuel is a large man but not in his manner or the way he thinks of himself. They meet in a coffee shop and with Devon in the lead there is no looking back!

Sweet

Sweet and quick prequel novella. Devon and Samuel meet at a cafe and there is an instant connection followed the next day by one heck of a first date. Great start to the series!

A very short but sweet tale of Samuel, a painfully shy giant of a man, and Devon, a young man roughly twenty years younger. He is attracted to Samuel when they bump into each other in the coffee shop and he slowly, gently woos this timid man. A lovely, touching little story.

So I always have a hard time rating short pieces just because there’s not enough time to make things breathe in a way you’d expect a novel to do - so I have to keep it in mind.

This was a cute age gap, opposites-attract sort of vibe, with shy older man Samuel and bad boy younger top Devon. The meet cute in the cafe was cute, and we get a sense of their personalities of Sam having a shy and skittish personality and Devon being more confident and outgoing.

It’s hard to really say what I feel about this story besides “aw it was cute”, honestly. I’m excited to read Beautifully Built though, because it will be longer. There was some editing issues like unfinished sentences which were a bit jarring. The sex scene was a little lack luster for me.

Overall, just okay!
