Skylar x Gray
I'm a little conflicted leaving this review. Ok, this was a good story. It had family, a bit of drama, it had banter and laughter, and it had love; my favorite part 🥰🥰. It had one more thing I wasn’t expecting. One more thing I wasn't expecting to get so much of: Grammatical and spelling fůckiņg errors. Why were there so many errors? I was willing to overlook them, but there were a myriad of them. There were so many, it became distracting. I’ve experienced that with all of her books. The author’s bio says she’s an international best selling author and she was featured in Essence Magazine. So, I don’t understand those errors. It doesn’t make sense to me. I enjoy her stories, but those errors are turning me off. If I'm being too weird about this, someone kindly let me know, cause I don’t understand. But enough of that.
Skylar and Gray were extremely cute. They had a semi meet-cute and the chemistry was palpable right there and then. I really liked Gray. He wasn’t arrogant per say, just cocky. Like, he was quiet, but he was cocky. But, it worked for him. I think it made him sexy AF. His story saddened me a little, but he was managing pretty well. Then there’s Skyler. I loved her. She was a sweet soul. She was so hesitant before jumping into anything Gray, but he’s already stake his claim on her. She was timid, smart, and oh so loving. I truly loved her. I would’ve loved to have gotten closure on her and Langley Associate and Carson after all that happened, but oh well. She got her HEA. So I would recommend this book if you can power through those errors cause it was overall cute 😍
