Revealing Kogarashi’s role in the spirit world as the Yatagahane, who holds the key to the deadlock between the eastern and western faction of spirits and yokai, really ups the stakes. It ratcheted up more with the character on the cover of this volume. It is Yuuna, but in the spirit armor of her guise as Tenko Genryuusai.
With the family name of Tenko, it aligns Yuuna with the clan the heads the eastern faction of spirits and yokai. Thus, the mystery deepens as to why Yuuna has lost her memories, and why is she hiding in the hot spring resort, the Yuragi-sou or the Yuragi Inn.
This multi-part review of the entire series is continued in my review of the next volume.

Very enjoyable it’s got a good plot going now. I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.
