Me dejé guiar tanto por el nombre de la novela, que cada que leía buscaba quién era el villano. Cuestión que no hay jajaj.
La historia es linda en la medida en que ambos protagonistas van fortaleciendo su relación. Pero en cuanto a la trama, siento que se pudo haber dado más.

Ahhhhh
Qué linda novela. Te hace gomitar arcoiris y te genera una alza de azúcar que termina en Diabetes.
Encima es super cortita y tiene su drama que no te genera crisis emocional, sólo ganas de rezar y pedir para que estén juntos 🤧.
Rege y Jian son tan dulces siendo "amigos" y "Heterosexuales", y en cada intercambio, al final se escucha un susurro silencioso "nohomo bro".
Ps: Decidí leerla porque es la misma autora de Usa rápidamente la máscara del diablo, novela que amo y recomiendo desde los más hondo de mi corazón 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Bueno, supongo que empezaré con lo que envuelve a la trama.
A un inicio no esperaba que estuviera ambientado en una edad un poco más medieval, por decirlo de una manera, ya que ando acostumbrada a que las novelas chinas lo lleven usualmente a su propia edad antigua. Esto si bien no trae muchos cambios, pude recordar que definitivamente en ese tiempo la sociedad era bastante cruel, si bien no le dan el mejor cierre en cuanto a lo que les rodea, puedo entender el porqué, así que no me molesta y me resulta hasta adecuado.
En cuanto a los protagonistas, empecemos con Jian Qiao. Me gusta, el pasado que tiene lo relatan de manera breve pero dando todos los detalles importantes. Su desarrollo en la historia me pareció magnífico, la interacción con otros personajes también hace que no solo el mejore, sino que parte de su entorno tenga valor.
Mi opinión de Rege es que lo amo, el es bastante estúpido por momentos, pero con la premisa de su pasado y su autoreflexion rápida, hace que las cosas no pasen a más. Pero lo que me agrado más es su sinceridad en sus sentimientos y la torpeza para darse cuenta de los suyos.
Está historia podría considerarse un slow burn, la relación que se va desarrollando hace que cada uno crezca y supere su pasado, busca reescribir. Si bien el final podría para algunos resultar abrupto, creo que es el cierre ideal, no se necesitan de extras.

ES HERMOSO, DE LAS COSAS MAS HEREMOSAS Y BIEN HECHAS QUE LEÍ. Me gustó porque es corto, solo 40 capítulos, derraman ternura y mucha comida para perros.

This was a very sweet read. Nothing wrong with that, although whenever the MC innocently and naively uttered cheesy romantic lines I cringed inside... But my tolerance for this kind of thing has always been rather low.
The author had done some research, from the look of it, as to how people in the mediaeval era lived, although I suspect there were artistic licence taken to show and magnify the more unsavoury aspect instead of offering a balanced view. But that's ok too, since it looked like it only served as a prop to show how badly the MC fit into this era.
On the part of "short and sickeningly sweet story", this story delivered in spades. I took a point off because, despite the setting and the attention to detail regarding the era's customs, why was the MC keeping/using his Chinese name? There's never any explanation for it, and it's so jarring that it broke the immersion every time someone called MC by his name...
I also wished the ending showed what happened to other characters. Like, did nothing happen to the princess?

This was... interesting. I definitely wasn't expecting from the description for it to be a western fantasy transmigration and that really threw me for a loop at the start. It never really made any sense why Jian Qiao was the only non-Western named person in the story though. It's mostly wish fulfillment fluff and no real tension to anything going on within it. If you want something quick and brainless this will do but it didn't really stand out in any way.

Very short story but full of fluff, sweetness and cringey dialogues (which can be good or bad depending on a person's preference).
No smut, slight angst, slight torture and a bit of depiction of gore.
Personally love the dialogues and interactions between ML and MC and wish it was slightly longer T^T.
All in all a pretty good read.
8/10 will read again

Not really have any angst for the couple, my heart pains for MC’s backstory. ML is such a strong man, though some of his actions are contributed from the era he live in. The ending plot is a bit rash, but still acceptable. I like that MC finally found his peace, as in finally open his heart for ML. Also, I love Cassia, the supporting lady. Her dialogue are funny hahahaa 4.5/8 ⭐️

I don't know why this book made me happy and sad at the same time. It is a quick story that will help you release your emotions and distract you from life. It was an unexpected story where the author ended the story with a nice little bow.

Pensé que se me caerían los dientes por tanta azúcar!!!! Jajajjaja muy bonita novela. Como me acostumbre a los danmei de chinos ancestrales, esta trama en la época medieval si que fue un soplo de aire fresco 😎
